Question: How can a person give pleasure to the Creator at every moment?

Answer: If he thinks about this all the time.

Every activity that you perform in life: working, learning, eating, bathing, in bed, even not alone, it makes no difference where and how, all of your thoughts must be directed towards the Creator. For the entire plan of nature, all of its forces are directed towards this, in order to work with bestowal.

If you act in this way, then an absolutely new field of emotion begins to be revealed in front of you, a new world. You begin to see the management system that now seems concealed because we don’t behave correctly in it. We don’t see it. We can see it only if we yearn for it for the sake of bestowal, and then we discover how it operates.

There exists a law of equivalence of form that acts in all the worlds, including our world. If I want to discover something, I construct a sensor that corresponds to that phenomenon that I want to discover. It is the same thing even here; if I want to discover the system of forces that manage the world, I must be found with this characteristic, and then it is revealed to me.

Therefore I must be locked on this all the time, that all that I do now, all my thoughts, desires and actions are intended only to give pleasure to the Creator, to give Him satisfaction.

What is the intention to give pleasure to the Creator? I don’t want to confuse you, but there is no Creator and there is nobody to whom to give pleasure. Through directing my thoughts and desires I apparently calibrate myself, aiming towards feeling the true creation. But what is ultimately revealed in me is that force that activates and manages everything, and it is called the “Creator.” This force can only be discovered within me, the Kabbalistic intention creates within me the possibility of feeling another reality which is parallel to our reality. If our reality exists only within the egoistic power of reception which is developed according to a plan that doesn’t depend on us, to which we are absolutely subservient, then when I enter into another reality, the possibilities of absolute freedom appear to me.

Question: Why do we feel obstacles in our dissemination to the broader public?  They are no longer personal clarifications of our own attributes? How does it bring us closer to the Creator?

Answer: A person is a small world. Everything that exists in the world is actually in a person. All the worlds are incorporated in him. Everything that I see around me is a replica of my inner attributes. There is nothing on the outside; it is only the picture of my inner reality.

This means that there are seven billion desires on the level of the speaking inside me, and infinite desires on the levels of the still, vegetative, and animate; all these attributes are inside me.

If I had to study them inside me, then I wouldn’t be able to clarify and differentiate all the stars, the galaxies, every flower and insect in the forest, all the mountains, and the people living all over the world. All of these are a replica of my internality. When we change our perception and acquire an integral perspective, then we discover that it is all very simple.

Now the world seems very complex. It’s because we look at it through a narrow perspective in which we see only separate items that are not connected in anyway. Nothing is clear and you could simply go mad. But if you install different software with a global approach inside, then everything immediately works out.

Everything around me belongs to me and to my correction since that is me. So no wonder I have to feel a stronger connection to all the parts of reality, both negative and positive. As I advance towards spirituality, accordingly their influence is greater on me; it is because I begin to correct myself.

The only thing that can develop and save me is the correction of my perception of reality to a more correct perception. So as I advance, I ask the Creator for the Light that Reforms on every level, and it corrects my attributes of reception into bestowal. My desire that used to be in order to receive begins to work with the intention of in order to bestow. In this corrected desire I already see the reality that used to be external to me as my inner reality, so it isn’t hard.

Thus, I continue to advance correcting part of the external world. The dogs that bark at me remain outside, but I already know how to get along with them; I know that they help me.

Over thousands of years, thousands of people have been trying to get out of this prison, the feeling of a narrow, small world, but they have not succeeded in doing this. And that will never change! The desire to receive will never willingly expand out of its own desire and release me, so I cannot look at reality through it and see the real world.

This will never happen! On the contrary, from day to day I will discover that my desire to receive has grown, but the opportunities for discovering new phenomena in it have contracted. And this brings me to the feeling of exile that forces me to seek and find the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah. Kabbalah explains that a person cannot see anything more within his egoistic desire.

I must reconcile myself to the fact that the ego will not allow me to feel anything besides this world. And if I want something beyond this, then I must change my attitude regarding my desire to receive. I now perceive reality selectively, only seeing whatever interests my ego. But if I want to see a wider, truer picture, or at least a picture closer to the truth, then it is up to me to rise above the desire to receive, to go beyond my egoistic desire.

For example, I can exit my desire to receive and pass into the desire of a friend, or several friends. Through this, I have already expanded my perception and will feel the world that exists outside of me. I must connect with the desire of a friend. If I am able to feel reality in his way, then it will already be completely different in comparison to what I feel within my ego. That is how I will wake up from this dream and rise above myself. At least I will be able to get out of my box, out of my prison.

The general rule,  “Love your friend as yourself” is derived from this. This is the practical means that allows a person to get out of his tiny cocoon, which appears to us as this world through one’s prism of self- interest, to rise above oneself, and find a different view.

However, so that my mind will be truly independent of my desire to receive, I should not only go out to a friend or several friends, but rather it is up to me to connect myself to a multitude of other individual desires to receive. Only through them, each time from another perspective, will I see the true reality.

In the end, all the points of view, the individual perspectives will connect into one collective view, into one expansive observation. This observation will expand indefinitely until I will be completely free from my desire to receive, and through the desires of others I will acquire freedom. My perception of reality will not be not be subject to any conditions and will be absolutely objective.

A wonderful thing is that the true perception is still felt within my desire to receive, but I will have created glasses which correct all of the defects, neutralizes them, and makes it possible for me to see and to feel the higher reality.

So we say that the spiritual work is reflected in the need to “love your neighbor,” “rising to the height of the Creator,” and so forth. For “The Torah is spoken in the human language” (Mishna); that is what we are prepared to understand and feel. Yet in fact, this is talking about a change in the perception of reality.

But we need to carry out simple activities and exercises in order to attain this change in perception: either through our primitive, egoistic desire or through a desire to receive which is directed towards bestowal. In the end, I reach a state where my efforts to change my perception transform into pleasure because I feel that I am already close to freedom.

Question: What does it mean to “see the spiritual world?”

Answer: We cannot see the spiritual world with our regular eyes. The spiritual world is perceived in inner sensations.

And even though in these senses we perceive it as something limitless and infinite, this is not determined by the geometrical measures of our world, but by our properties, our new senses, the inner vision.

And once we acquire these properties, everything becomes simpler and easier. We begin to see the forces that stand behind every action, every object.

Everything is very precise, clear, and specific. We understand that we are all controlled from above and that man only has one free action: to wish to see the spiritual world in order to identify himself with these actions.

He himself does not perform any actions; he only identifies himself with them. But he feels free by doing this because he rises above his egoistic nature, and instead of involuntarily carrying out all the laws as before, he begins to do it at his own will, he feels and sees them. And this is an entirely different case, this gives man a sensation of freedom.

Gradually, he begins to equate himself to the upper force to such extent that he no longer only justifies it, but he demands for it to perform all the actions that essentially are part of its program, even before it was planning on performing them. He is like a child who runs in front of the grown up demanding for him to do something.

And then the complete union of the Creator and the creation takes place.

Question: What is concealed from us? What exactly do we begin to feel during the revelation?

Answer: Nothing else exists except two forces, the Creator/bestowal, and the creature/reception, which bring us into action. Different combinations of these forces form a system, called Malchut; nothing else exists except for it, and we exist in it.

The revelation of this  system, full of Light, gives the feeling of attainment, wisdom, and fulfillment, provides answers to all the questions, and fills all the emptiness.

Besides, the life that one gets to experience in this flow is limitless. You stop being controlled by the body and you stop thinking that you are losing life with every beat of your pulse.

You feel perfection because opposite forces do not just connect, but they also complete one another. This begets joy and pleasure from attainment, which reveals the world from one end to the other to man, the entire nature, and not just the material world.

And then man begins to perceive this world in a different way. Before he used to see suffering, problems, and unhappy relationships between people. And now he sees that people are corrected and treat each other with love.

This transformation happens to man according to his properties: He attains that the world is a copy of this and everything that he sees is a projection of his inner properties. The better corrected they are, the more corrected he sees the world, and now he can justify it.

And then he discovers that this world also pertains to the spiritual, and he understands that all the people are in concealment, while he has attained revelation. It turns out that revelation is when man sees the true picture of this world: Before it seemed to be absolutely real, but now it is perceived as a film projected in the air that depends on the changing of his properties. Man perceives the people around him as inner organs of his soul, and they also change according to his correction. Then he understands that the world is not outside of him, but inside. And everyone begins to see this way.

The Zohar – Introduction, “The Night of the Bride,” Item 140: And all the Zivugim that were made one after another, revealed the ascents, and the separate, consecutive degrees have now gathered into one degree of one great Zivug—Unity, which shines in the world from end to end. Hence, it is written: DAY AFTER DAY SHALL BRING A SHEAF, that is, the intervals between days now become magnificent glory for they have been turned into merits. Thus, everything becomes the Creator’s one glorious day!

The states described here do not come with time but only as a consequence of our corrections. We read that something is about to happen. Nothing will happen unless we evoke it through our efforts. There is always an illusion that higher states will come on their own. Of course, we will reveal everything written here, but this will not come on its own with time. A new state will become revealed from our current state, and we will see how perfect and full of the Light of Infinity it is, just like The Zohar describes. When will this happen? Once we correct our perception and discover that we have been in this state all along but were unable to view it properly.

My Comment: Everything is created and has the structure of HaVaYaH (the four-stage development of desire or the name of the Creator), from the smallest manifestations of an existing object or phenomenon to all of creation as a whole. Question: I do not know if I receive a blow because of a certain lack of correction if I live in an integral world. Maybe I strayed along the path and in this way the Creator brings me back to it, or perhaps it is just the external problems of the entire generation. So, how can a person check himself to make sure that he works correctly along the way?

Answer: The integral world is a reflection of the world of Ein Sof (Infinity). We are already in Ein Sof, but it is concealed from us. So, we to orient ourselves to Ein Sof since, as it is said, “The end of the action is in the initial thought.” This means that I must understand that I see a shattered reality before me since this is how I feel it in my senses. But, in fact, it is one reality since there is only one soul filled with one Light, and one force that sustains all this in perfect unity.

So, how can I feel this by my own efforts every moment of my life?

A person is given small problems to deal with since he can. There are greater global problems that he cannot solve at the moment.

It is as if I must be X-rayed. I stand in front of the machine, get x-rayed, and the picture is shown to me. I see stars and planets in it, and then the earth and different creatures on the surface of the earth: the still nature, vegetation, animals, and people. Somewhere in the distances, there are stars and galaxies that are exploding. The earth is burning from within, and we are living on its thin crust, thinly covered with vegetation like hair on a head. There are animals and tiny people walking on its surface, and I see all of that in the X-ray.

However, I am told not to worry about the whole big picture! I am told to leave all the stars and earth with its vegetation, and to begin focusing on what is in my power to correct now.

So, I narrow down my vision and stop worrying about the entire world since I don’t have the tools to correct it anyway. There is no point in just sitting and crying desperately about what is happening somewhere in Honolulu.

So, first, I am given a group of ten people because I cannot perceive more than ten people in my mind. I must focus on this group of ten and establish my attitude toward the entire world as I see it in the X-ray’s picture. However, through this group of ten, I can remain focused on them. I can relate to everything else correctly according to my connection with them, to what happens outside the boundaries of the group.

I must believe that, if I establish the right attitude inside the group, it will be enough for me to establish a correct attitude toward the entire world. If people suddenly come complaining to me that I didn’t take care of a distant Zulu tribe at the other end of the world, I will answer that I couldn’t since I looked at the entire world through the group. I suggest that they look through that lens in order to find that out! They should come, look, and see that I really couldn’t do anything, and then they would say that I am not guilty of anything.

Thus, I constantly look at reality through the group. If I problems come to me through a whole group, then perhaps they involve all of humanity or the entire planet, but I must know that they were revealed to me because I can keep them in focus because of my connection with the group. They already are incorporated in the picture that I see in the lens that focuses my sight. This means that such an event is already in my sight.

This is how I advance. In the meantime, I cannot encompass the entire world and worry about everything. I only know one thing: If I worry about what I have to do according to my level, it will be my positive effect on reality. This is all I can do, and I am not required to do more, just as a small child is asked to do only what he can, according to his age.

The difference between the spiritual and material worlds is that spirituality is our internal state. There is not some external picture with flying angels and evil spirits. But the world that we perceive outside of us is our inner state. All sensations are developed within the material of our perception.

Previously, in the past centuries, madmen who had visions were considered saints and seers. Later psychology explained that hallucinations were caused by internal processes that occur in people. The wisdom of Kabbalah agrees with these findings of psychology.

Since ancient times, from the very beginning of the revelation of the Creator by a man, Kabbalah has said that the pictures of this world are just projections of our internal sensations. However, we have an ability to change our psychology, and our perception and not live in this current reality, which occurs spontaneously and presents the picture of this world; we can choose what movie we want to watch.

To do this we need to investigate who we are, who governs us, and how it works, and then we’ll be able to look at ourselves rationally and soberly. It is written: “A judge has only what his eyes can see,” and all the rest is just our imagination. Our entire lives and all this world are also a dream.

Kabbalah gives us the tools to accomplish these changes: This is how it differs from any other approaches, whether religious or scientific. Kabbalah gives us the means to change our dreams and imaginary pictures we live in; it allows us to explore them, look at them from the side and see the forces acting on them, and to create these pictures. It elevates us to a degree where we begin to develop these pictures, the shape of the world.

In essence, we develop an ability to define what dimension we want to be in and what to choose.

Thus, we rise to a degree of attainment of the forces governing us and learn how to use them. And in the end, behind all these forces, we reveal the upper intelligence, the Creator’s desire. This is the most exalted level, the level of revelation of the cause of creation, its purpose and design; we achieve complete unity with the Creator.

But this is only a transitory peak, and what follows: Let’s wait and see. After all, at that time we’ll exist in a different form. And then there will be new and different levels of attainment and advancement. But, they have nothing to do with material desires because at that point our attitude towards the matter will be already corrected. This new revelation is outside the boundaries of the “matter” in more sublime properties.

Each of us discovers that he exists in a very special state, which we call this world and which we divide into us and everything that is external to us. I feel and understand myself and what is around me to some extent. The development of my understanding and feeling is called my life. I feel that I am changing and that everything around me changes; the whole world is changing.

Then I discover that my perception of the world depends only on me, and that it is created in my feeling and understanding. When I begin to examine the factors that determine my perception more deeply, I discover that everything begins from the egoistic desire to receive pleasure. This means that I perceive the inner and external reality and assess it only with regard to my own benefit, whether it’s good for me or not.

I cannot perceive reality objectively, in its true form, but only relative to myself. If something doesn’t concern me directly, I don’t feel it at all. I even perceive that the world is sometimes big and wide and sometimes narrow and stuffy, as if I totally change my mind.

This changes according to what interests me, and so I see one thing and don’t pay attention to something else. I am like a cat that only sees the mouse in the room, but pays no attention to the beauty of the room and the pictures that are on the walls. If a person enters the room he immediately pays attention to the pictures and doesn’t see the mouse. Each one sees the world according to his desire. The world doesn’t exist by itself. It’s depicted in my desire.

When I become aware of the limitations of my perception that filters everything only with regard to me, I begin to want to see something outside this limited picture. I feel as if I am in prison, as if I have been locked in a dungeon, inside a grave, unable to come out.

I begin to feel claustrophobic, fearing closed places that suffocate me and pressure me on all sides. I have to know and feel more! Here I begin to feel that the desire to receive that takes everything for itself doesn’t let me see the real world, but only what interests the egoistic desire that I have at the moment.

I perceive all of reality only through my ego. Although reality may be huge and practically infinite, I cannot see it. This leaves me restless and totally poisons my life. I begin to call my state, the domination of my desire to receive, slavery and exile. Because it forces me to see only what interests the narrow primitive desire, I look at everything with regard to its benefit or what is harmful to it and don’t see anything that is beyond its boundaries. I begin to look for a way to develop it, and so I reach the wisdom of Kabbalah.
