Question: Why is the property of bestowal concealed from us?

Answer: The property of bestowal becomes revealed in relation to my egoistic desire! If the attribute of bestowal were revealed by itself, I would undoubtedly start desiring it. But why don’t I wish for it? I don’t desire it because there is opposition between the desire to bestow and my desire to receive for the sake of self gratification.

If I could see the world solely through the prism of bestowal, it would look beautiful to me and  would be filled with goodness, it couldn’t be better! It’s paradise, the property of Bina! But if I look at it through my egoistic desires that rule over me, I cannot agree with such an assessment.

So, when will I finally agree? If, with the force that I receive from the group, I glorify the importance of bestowal over egoistic reception, I receive freewill. But I can only accomplish this through faith above reason, which means to place the opinion of the group above my own.
