Comment: From the World Happiness Report 2021: Scandinavian countries top ranking of the happiest nations in the world with scores ranging from mid 7’s to nearly 8 of 10, followed by Western Europe, the North and Central America, and some Asian nations.

Billions of people are living in conditions exceeding the dreams of kings 200 years ago. And they lived well.

At the same time, the rate of growth of mental disorders in these happiest countries is exponential. Depression, antidepressants, drugs, these are already common things. Suicides numbers in these countries are ten times higher than in the unhappy nations. The whole culture is saturated with a feeling of fatigue, apathy, and suffering of an individual in an oppressed world.

Question: What are people missing? It seems that there is happiness; they say they are happy. Just live your life and be happy.

Is this conclusion correct: the better off I live financially, the worse I feel internally?

Answer: The better I live financially, the more internal stress I live with.

Question: What should I do so that I can live well financially and be filled internally?

Answer: I visited the house of a man, not my student, in Amsterdam. He has access to these channels, but he comes home from work, has dinner, sits in a rocking chair, picks up a newspaper, just like 100 years ago. And there are no world problems in the newspaper, just an ordinary newspaper.

I asked a couple of questions and realized that everything was fine for him. He does not notice any disturbances in the world. They pass by him.

Nothing can be done. There are people who do not react. And you want to tell them that we need to move toward brotherhood or there will be misfortune all over the world, that we must be equivalent with nature, but he is in equivalence with nature already.

Question: So what do we want from them? In principle, they are happy people.

Answer: It is not about what we want. It is about what nature requires. We must start from there. Otherwise, they would not have been flooded.

Question: Are drugs and antidepressants requirements of nature?

Answer: Everything is a requirement of nature, and in a form not yet understood by them: where does it come from, what is being done? In general, there are a lot of problems. This is the transition period for humanity. And I hope that it will end soon.

Answer: Happiness means being in balance with general, global nature! With the still, vegetative, animate, and human beings. When you are in balance with them, then you experience a special feeling, the highest balance called happiness.

Balance with nature is when I feel myself in this huge system and I feel how I influence it and how it affects me. And we feel our interdependence. At the same time, what I feel is called happiness. Balance with nature! But nature includes a lot of additional qualities and forces that we do not yet know and will have to reveal.

Question: Which means, I am active? I cannot sit in a rocking chair, pick up a newspaper, and just pass out? Isn’t this like being dead?

Answer: It is impossible!

One neighbor will wake you up from below because there is a flood, the second neighbor from above because there is fire, and from the left and right for some other reason.

And all this is so that we can balance the entire surrounding nature with mutual relations between us, between neighbors.

Comment: I have to be active all the time. And I do not want to! I want to rock quietly in a rocking chair.

Question: How do you feel about this point of view? Do I need to look back and check how I spent my life?

Answer: I think that a person should live with it all the time, not when he is already dying and makes some kind of calculation: “What do I have, how can I now account for the results?”

One has to live with it. I must be constantly aware that there is a ship that has to sail at a certain time, and I have to catch it, and I am leaving. I should be in this in such a way that I meet the day of death almost calmly, with joy, and sail forth.

Answer: To rise above myself, above my egoism.

Question: How can I understand this?

Answer: Yes.

Answer: This is given from above, by the Creator, who gives a person such a feeling, such a state. This is called “the embryo of his soul.” The fact that a person develops this state within himself is already the development of the soul.

Answer: Hell, purgatory, heaven.

Answer: Hell is when I begin to feel my egoism in which I have existed all the time and in which I still exist now, like in hell.

Purgatory means that I must get rid of my egoism. Absolutely, completely, and unconditionally replace it with bestowal and love. Then I feel heaven in these corrected states. It is all very simple.

Question: Why do we not want to go to heaven? Why does He not illuminate it for us? Can He just illuminate it a little and we will run there?

Answer: No, no, no! We are lured only to hell.

It feels like animals are attacking us today. Nature has begun to press us very hard.

Question: Can you give your comment on this?

Answer: We oppose ourselves to all the forces of nature by our relationships with each other. The most important thing is between people and generally with regard to nature, our consumeristic attitude toward it.

As a result, nature learns from us to treat us the way we treat it. There is nothing you can do about it! Is there a greater pest in our world than man?! He is the only pest! Everything else is environmentally friendly. If necessary, something eats something, but all this is within the framework of general interdependence, ecology, and so on.

Man, however, indiscriminately like a flamethrower torches everything and does what he wants.

Question: It never happened before, why is it happening now?

Answer: We have already reached the beginning of the finish line. This is the beginning of the end. The unbridled egoism of a person begins to manifest itself and in such a form that it is really impossible to restrain it.

Look at what we are doing with mutual hatred, what we are doing with weapons, armaments. Why do we need so much?! Billions and billions of tons of TNT-equivalent nuclear charges and so on. What for?! Why do we need more and more?! A person simply cannot stop.

Therefore, as a result, we violate all the equilibrium that could exist in nature and exceed this by egoistic disequilibrium by billions of times. And nature begins to react.

Question: Why precisely through animals?

Answer: They are the closest to us! Inanimate, vegetative, animate, and then human degrees. If we ourselves scramble down from the human degree to the animal degree, then we bring all our egoistic disequilibrium there. Therefore, the animate degree becomes so unbridled and irrepressible that it is also ready to devour everything.

Question: How can we understand that they are urging us to do something?

Answer: They by themselves do not urge us to anything. There is no reasonable answer there. It is an instinct that reacts to our incorrect interference in it. After all, we are breaking this entire balance at our level. When it passes to the animals, there is already such mayhem going on.

Question: You are saying that the pyramid is like this: human, animal, vegetable, and inanimate. Does it mean that we have descended from the human degree to the animal degree because of our hatred and lack of love for each other?

Answer: Instead of raising ourselves and them together with us and creating a general balance in all of nature and bringing it from this pyramidal state into a round one, so that everything complements one another, we instead lower all of nature by descending to the animalistic degree and even to the vegetative degree.

We do not want to consider anything, except our egoism. We also consider our egoism only to the extent that it is convenient for us.

Comment: You once said that humanity has already adopted some kind of round state.

My Response: We are given such a state as our goal from above, and we are completely opposite to it from below.

Question: Is the mutual interconnection of humanity, interdependence, a goal that is given to us from above?

Answer: Yes. Nature treats us as one single whole. Look, all kinds of diseases, viruses, fires, hurricanes, and so on are descending on us. All this is generally given to all of humanity and not to any particular part of it or even to one main land. Yet, we react to this absolutely one-sidedly. That is, it does not matter to us where and what, the main thing is me.

Instead, we need to react in such a way that through our correct relationships we could eventually make the world balanced and round.

Question: Who will whisper this to us? Animals will not do that.

Answer: We could whisper, but no one hears either whispers or screams. In this case it means suffering. I hope that suffering will quickly lead us to understanding, and understanding will lead to the correct decision.

Question: So that we ourselves will shorten the period of suffering?

Answer: Yes. It depends on the dissemination of the method of Kabbalah. Only it speaks about what can be done in this state in our world.

Question: To bring the world to balance?

Answer: Yes, there is no other possibility.

My Response: I think that’s an idea. Any game in some way shows you a possible future. You can play several options here and see how it suits you, your attitude, perception, and so on.

Answer: The problem is that they do not know where this is going, what these laws of nature are. Their ignorance is ruining them.

Question: And if you were given such a game “2020” now, what would you personally do?

Answer: It should all be built to compel people to get closer. Imagine that we are obliged to get closer to each other. For today, you must feel closer to others so much so that you feel that you are in their life, they are in your life, that you are mixed.

In the News (Forbes): “BET founder Robert Johnson argued Monday that ‘now is the time’ for white America to acknowledge damages resulting from slavery, and for the U.S. Government to provide reparations in the sum of a $14 trillion wealth transfer to help prevent the country from splitting into separate and unequal societies. …

“Johnson has long been an advocate pf reparations. ‘I’m not new to this challenge.’ He said he’s not advocating ‘more bureaucratic programs that don’t deliver and don’t perform,’ adding ‘I’m talking about cash. We are a society based on wealth. That’s the foundation of capitalism.’ In November of 2019, Leaders of the New Jersey’s Legislative Black Caucus introduced a bill that would establish a Reparations Task Force, which would aim to research the history of slavery within the state, any racial discrimination that stemmed from it, and how the state could help make up for it. According to a Pew Research Center survey conducted last year, 63% of Americans believe the legacy of slavery affects the position of black people in American society today either ‘a great deal or a fair amount.’

Question:  Will this put an end to racism? What can these proposals lead to?

Answer: To the end of the world. When everyone starts demanding what they supposedly deserve, even billionaires, there will be no end to it. Everyone will start whetting their appetites against one another. No, you can’t do that! It is foolish to rethink the whole of history in this way.

Question: Are you in favor of people turning this period in history around without looking back and turning it into a clean slate?

Answer: I am in favor of reinterpreting the whole of history. To reinterpret history in action, that is, in fact, we were like that under the influence of our egoistic inclination. And now, when we realize its insignificance, perniciousness, inferiority, and so forth, we are moving on to the next degree of coexistence where we will simply help each other, get closer to each other, without any complaints about the past.

Comment: Without reparations, without looking back at what happened.

My Response: It’s endless!

Question: So only such a revision of history based on egoism, right?

Answer: Yes. The past cannot be bought with money, just as the future cannot be built with this money.

Question: I see, only to understand human nature and start coming closer to one another?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Education is not the main problem. Why do you keep saying that this is a problem?

Answer: It is the most important and only problem. People don’t understand that our upbringing will change the world. Change in the world is in the change of a person.

Question: But people have children, they see what is happening around them. Why does it not enter their consciousness?

Answer: Because it is against our egoism.

Question: For our egoism, the pandemic, poverty, and social inequality are the problem? Something that concerns only me?

Answer: Only me and I don’t care about anything else, just my own skin.

Question: How do you want to lead humanity to some kind of change?

Answer: It’s very simple, on one hand we just need to show that this is the only problem that separates us from happiness. That’s all. If we change, the world will change and everything will change: this virus will go away, and all other problems. Everything will go away.

Answer: No. From life itself you will not reveal its source. You must leave this life and then you will find out where it comes from.

Close the way they live: sit, get your living wage, and that is it. And what will they do? People will start killing themselves and each other out of despair.

Question: And if a person still has these questions: “Where did we come from? What is the meaning of life? How did we get here?”

Answer: These questions will come, but they will come in a couple of years when people stop playing such games.

Question: That is, a person now has different needs?

Answer: You see if there is an end at all, it means that it will happen now or in a thousand years, it does not matter. Moreover, I cannot fill these 1,000 years with anything. What, am I going to look at these soulless cosmic bodies?

Question: Is this all not filled with the main meaning—the meaning of life for you?

Still, vegetative, and animate nature cannot fill a person who is at the next level of development. Just as all nature originated from the Big Bang, we must go back through that point that exploded and gave birth to our world and go there—into what was before the explosion.

My new article on Linkedin “The Permafrost Is Defrosting (and it is bad news)”

The permafrost, the frozen layer of soil that has underlain the arctic tundra for millennia, is accelerating its thaw. Several years ago, scientists noticed that ice they thought would never melt was thinning fast. In 2017, the BBC published an article by Jasmin Fox-Skelly. “We have had antibiotics for almost a century,” she wrote. “However, what would happen if we were suddenly exposed to deadly bacteria and viruses that have been absent for thousands of years, or that we have never met before? We may be about to find out,” she concluded. “Climate change is melting permafrost soils that have been frozen for thousands of years, and as the soils melt they are releasing ancient viruses and bacteria that, having lain dormant, are springing back to life.”

We may be unaware of it, but the destructive potential of these germs can dwarf the harm that the current bug is causing. They can truly jeopardize humanity since we have zero immunity against these microorganisms as there is nothing like them currently in existence that could prepare us for their arrival.

Moreover, while scientists are fearful of viruses and bacteria reawakening, I think that there can even be more complex life-forms that might spring back from extinction to existence. Fish, frogs, and even birds might suddenly appear. We have no idea what lies dormant underneath the ice, and which global warming is gradually reviving.

We must realize that nature is a single, closed system. Nothing ends in it, and nothing begins. When the time is ripe, things manifest; when the time is ripe, they vanish. But nothing stops existing; it only waits until it is time for it to reappear.

The changes we inflict on nature make things happen faster and in ways we cannot understand. Therefore, the only certainty is that the unexpected will transpire, though we cannot anticipate how it will unfold, what form it will take, how fast it will appear, and what consequences it will have. All we can say for certain is that we will not be prepared for it since one cannot prepare for the unknown and unforeseeable.

While we may not be able to prepare for the unpredictable, we can prevent its arrival. Since climate change is melting the arctic permafrost, and we, according to most scientists, are causing it, we can undo the damage we are doing to the climate by eliminating its cause.

Scientists attribute climate change to gas emissions and other manmade factors. However, this view ignores one key fact: Nature is a complete, closed, and interdependent system, not a heap of separate elements. Since everything affects everything else, one malfunctioning element in the system disrupts all of nature and throws the entire system off balance. Mend that element, and you have restored Earth’s balance.

When you look at the world, there is evidently only one dysfunctional element in all of it: humankind. We are so corrupt that we cannot even admit that we are the reason for the disasters befalling us. My teacher’s father, the great kabbalist Yehuda Ashlag (aka Baal HaSulam), compared human nature to the angel of death: It impels us to drink a deadly nectar. Even though that drop is placed on the tip of a sword, we are too weak to resist it. We open our mouths, bring the tip of the sword to our mouths, and let that deadly drop into our throats.

We are not there yet, but we are approaching it fast. Our only weapon is awareness of our nature and mutual support in facilitating change. If we help each other rise above our self-destructive nature, which kills us precisely by focusing only on ourselves instead of on the system where we live, then we can save ourselves. If we insist on thinking only of ourselves at such a time, we will perish.

We are the only being that has a deliberate will, an intention to do harm, possess, dominate, humiliate, and immortalize ourselves. This intention is the root of all the cataclysms affecting our planet and humanity. If we help each other build a balanced and harmonious society, we will balance all of nature, as it will mend the only broken element in reality. If we shun the task and stick to our egos, no remedy will save us from disaster.

Comment: The world has now become a world of clips; people watch clips, listen to audio books, and read less.

But according the World Literacy Foundation: “Reading is found to decrease blood pressure, lower heart rate, and reduce stress to significant degrees. According to a 2009 study at the University of Sussex, stress is reduced up to 68% just by reading! Only six minutes of reading can slow down the heart rate and improve overall health! It calms the mind and relaxes the body. This will not only help prevent potential conditions caused by stress, but will also set a person up with a clearer mind.”

My Response: I think that reading allows a person to deepen himself, to examine himself in relation to what he is reading, to develop internally. But for the new generation, this is unrealistic.

They will not read. They cannot. We have left them such an environment that kills them completely. This is clip-thinking, only these tik toks and so on. All of this, of course, simply kills the person within a person.

Question: So where is this leading us?

Answer: Through evil, we always come to something, to the realization of evil.

Comment: But you say that we will practically not read any more.

My Response: There will be other books, other things to read. There will be more questions, more answers, more of something purposeful in nature. These will not be volumes of solid text like we used to read. I remember how I would go to the library in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and other grades: I would take three or four volumes home and read them. You return them, take the next three or four volumes, and so on.

Comment: Reading was introduced in your home was the main thing.

My Response: That is all, this is the main thing. Where else can you draw anything from?

Comment: I see that you have gone through a lot of literature and not only technical.

My Response: Mostly what was available, that is, world classics. That was all we had of course.

Question: And if we still take on and develop children today, teach them to read?

Answer: I don’t know. They would be very disconnected from modern life, from their peers.

Question: So you do not especially advise this to push the child to read?

Answer: No. Society, the environment, still shapes a person. It is just that these children grow up in such times and they should exist in it.

Question: So you cannot say it is bad or that it is good?

Answer: You cannot take them to the jungle. That is how it will seem to them with all these writers. Imagine taking them back 50 years.

Question: To read there? When they read?

Answer: In general: in culture, in communication, in all that they get from books. Therefore, they are now detached from books because of the previous society, like another language. I believe that everything will be fine and there is nothing for us to worry about. It is none of our business.

Question: Is this how nature leads and develops?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Question: What does it lead us to as a result of this generation?

Answer: Each generation grows up in the environment that generated it and shaped it, and it should develop in this way. Do not disturb it. It is just that there are a few “dinosaurs” left in the modern generation and they are preventing the modern generation from living a normal life.

Comments: And they point out: read, read, only read.

Answer: Yes.

Question: What is education then?

Answer: It is if you, along with what they know and have learned from their social networks and so on, give them an educational program: that there is a special mechanism in the world, nature, that still guides us and leads us somewhere. It would be good for us to master this mechanism. We cannot get away from it, we exist in it.

There is a science that talks about how this mechanism works and how you can master it. You cannot change it, but finding out how to adapt to its nature, learning its algorithm and how to interact with this mechanism is good. It is useful.

Question: Is this what education will be like—to interest them in the study of nature?

Answer: Yes. Today, we have more and more such questions that we dismiss because we cannot do anything about them. So, to find out why, how, for what reason nature does something to us and what we can do about it ourselves, what is in our power—this can be learned only from those states that we find in the science of Kabbalah and nowhere else. This, I think, they should add to today’s worldview.

Question: So you think that this science will come to life one way or another, sooner or later?

Answer: Instead of all the millions of volumes and everything that humanity has collected, accumulated, discovered, written, and designed for us, we need only one science—the science of Kabbalah to learn what nature wants to do with us, how it affects us, and how we can respond to it correctly, adequately, all in order to achieve pleasure, to achieve happiness, knowledge, cognition, and live our years in this state as fruitful as possible.

Each generation requires a different approach to the world.

Question: And this generation will demand the science of Kabbalah?

Answer: I hope so. I hope that this generation will not fall into a trap, will not lose itself and wake up after a couple of generations. And so that already today we will begin to understand the plan of nature regarding us.
