Question: How does The Book of Zohar differ from TES or Psalms  with respect to the power of correction?

Answer: The Book of Zohar is unique because it was composed by people who sought to uncover the mysteries of the spiritual world and present them to all of humanity. Kabbalists consider The Book of Zohar the most valuable book in attaining the Creator.

Question: Why is the language of The Book of Zohar so complex? Couldn’t everything be explained, for example, from the perspective of the physics of light or electromagnetic laws, so that one could first understand spirituality in the mind and then pass it all through feelings?

Answer: It cannot be so. The Kabbalists who wrote The Zohar presented us with this gift, the simplest and most accessible, to attain the upper light and through it reveal the Creator.

Question: What does self-sacrifice for the sake of the Torah and commandments mean?

Answer: It means that I neglect all the states that are comfortable for me only to feel the inner meaning of the Torah, commandments, and The Zohar.

Question: Reading The Book of Zohar always evokes amazing feelings. I started reading it independently a year and a half ago and was surprised I could do it. Then I started reading it in the group. Recently I realized that I stopped feeling it.

Answer: There is nothing to worry about. Various states of this kind happen so you elevate the desire  and aspiration to understand The Zohar.

Answer: If you direct all of this toward the Creator, then you experience some ascent. And this happens every time, again and again.

Question: When can a ten be in a state of Nefesh?

Answer: The common light you reach will be called the light of Nefesh.

Question: If everything is good on the spiritual level, what does it mean “pleases or does not please the spirit of people”?

Answer: There are spiritual actions that force us to take a roundabout path, and there are actions where you move straight. This is essentially what determines success or failure in spirituality.

Question: How do we recognize the differences that are important to overcome to reach unity among us and those that can be accepted?

Answer: Anything that prevents us from connecting must be corrected.

Question: What does it mean to bring the left line to holiness?

Answer: It means that all your egoism, which is revealed in you at this moment, must be corrected into altruism.

Question: How can each of us become Mordechai and call upon the group to unite? The group is our world, after all.

Answer: A person who feels that the most important thing is the unification of all people is called Mordechai, from the word “Mor-Dror” (light of freedom).

He attracts the light of the Creator from above, which unites all people. And therefore, in such an action there is a possibility of defeating the most evil force—the force of Haman.

Question: So we should do this on Purim so that we lead the group to correction?

Answer: Not only on Purim, but all the time throughout the year.

The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is the vegetative degree, and Haman is the next animate degree.

Haman intended to use this tree to oppress people, but in the end, the tree, the vegetative quality of the soul, made it so that he was found guilty, and he was hanged precisely on this tree.

Answer: There is no need to focus specifically on this. We just need all together to come closer to the Creator. Haman is a quality that exists in each person to some extent. Question: We are trying to connect our desires in the work of the ten. Which of them are called Haman and which are called Mordechai?

Answer: Egoistic, uncorrected desires that cannot yet unite are called Haman.

And the small desires, striving for an imperceptible, literally tiny unity, are called Mordechai. This is a very small light, the light of Hassadim, which shines a little in the Kelim of Haman. We need to put all this in order.

The fact is that the desire Haman consists of ten desires called “his ten sons.” They are almost impossible to correct. Therefore, we eventually turn with them to the Creator, and they disappear under the influence of the upper light.

And the other desires we can correct and fill, and thus get closer and closer to the Creator.

Question: In order to feel what is embedded in The Book of Zohar, it is necessary to purify oneself from egoistic desires.

Can we expose ourselves to its radiance before we come to such purity?

Answer: Yes we can. To the extent that we read The Book of Zohar with the right intention, we will be purified. And when we are purified to a certain degree, then it will begin to shine on us, because The Zohar means radiance.

Question: The Book of Zohar gives a feeling of approaching the very source of the Torah and the commandments. How can this feeling be associated with the group?

Answer: Since you are moving forward with the group, you should try to connect with each other and, as an organized group, approach the inner quality of the Torah, the light.

Question: When we study in the ten and strive for the light of The Zohar, at first, it feels like something is already happening, becoming clear, and then, there is a sudden shift in states, and it feels like the Klipot are controlling us again.

Answer: This is always the case and will continue to be so. However, you are transitioning to a different level and then to another one, as if shifting gears in a car.

The main thing is to remain calm and continue.

Always strive forward. This striving will help you adhere to The Book of Zohar, to the lesson, and adhere to me. Then everything will work out.

The Book of Zohar is for us, for our level. But to understand it, we must open our hearts.

Question: If the Torah and the Creator are one, why do we perceive them as opposites during the work?

Answer: We do not perceive the Torah and the Creator as opposites, we perceive them as one within the other.

When we talk about qualities, we refer to the Creator; when we talk about actions or what we want to achieve, we refer to the Torah, the light that influences us and brings us to the desired result.

Question: How should we correctly organize work in the group during the study when we feel this light? How do we correctly bestow it back to the Creator?

Answer: When we act among ourselves in the ten, try to come closer, unite, and hope to do so through our efforts as described in the articles about the group, then we begin to reveal the light within us, and in our unity, we try to direct it toward the Creator.

Uniting is an action that in itself causes joy. After all, when a person feels another person and connects with everyone, this creates a feeling of great confidence and mutual connection, and this is how we attract an illumination from above, which awakens joy in us.

It is said that “Joy is a ‘reflection’ of good deeds.” Good deeds mean unification; there simply cannot be anything else that is good. Therefore, we need to reach unification, and it is absolutely necessary for the whole world because we see how it is being destroyed before our eyes more and more, day by day.

Therefore, at our convention, we must try to aim as much as possible toward unity and joy, that is, toward the right line, which is perfection. A person who is in a state of perfection is similar in form to the Creator, who is perfect, that is, now a person cleaves to the perfect, as it is said: “The blessed clings to the blessed.”

This means that the more joy we feel and attribute to the Creator, the closer we are to Him, the more strongly we will feel the light of Purim in response—the light of unity, the light of celebration, the light of unification. During the entire year, there is no higher state than Purim. On this day, we are illuminated by the light of the end of correction, which unites us and is capable of leading us out of any difficult condition no matter what we find ourselves in.

Everything depends only on our unification, unity, and joy, that we managed to rise above all our thoughts and all calculations. To multiply joy in the month of Adar means to unite around one common joy for everyone.

On this holiday, we leave all our calculations behind and think only about how to bring joy to everyone, that is, how to achieve a feeling of perfection, to come to similarity with the Creator, at least at the very first minimal degree, and then feel how a huge light of joy, which is called Purim, spreads among all of us.
