Question: What is to be done if a man refuses to participate together with women in dissemination or other events?

Answer: And the Americans are asking this? They should take an example from Israel. With us, women participate in external dissemination not just equally with men, but ahead of them. We give the right of way to women because wider circles relate to them with greater sympathy than to men; they are better and more quickly accepted, and the external public more readily agrees with them.

If the group disparages women, then it cannot disseminate widely. This is the most loyal part of the general world group. I rely on them more than upon the men. They are faithful, strong, have a greater power of endurance, and don’t keep grudges, whereas men are weaker, flighty, and this is our problem.

Our only benefit is we can search for ways to go forward, and we are creative. The women are not. They are masters of implementation. Therefore, we need to use this and complete each other.

Women who go out for integral dissemination always can prepare and advise you about what is better and what is worse. They feel the audience better and so forth, because the man fantasizes all the time, whereas the woman is more grounded.

It is foolish to emphasize my “self,” that my “self” is seemingly male. This doesn’t exist in spirituality. Can there be a spiritual Kli without the feminine part? On the contrary, everything that the man does accumulates and grows within her. She produces and develops, but we sow, irrigate, and do everything so that birth and growth will emerge from her.

A group that advances successfully is a group in which the men and the women have equal rights and understand how they can complete and develop one another mutually.

Previously, we evolved into the form of “beasts,” generation after generation, as degree of  Reshimot “rolled” from one desire to another desire, and these desires received the sensations of the bodies in which they were found and created a picture of the world. 

However, now we have received permission to rise through the wisdom of Kabbalah to the level of the eternal world. So, we no longer will be limited by physical incarnation. This sequence of physical life and death will disappear, for we will see in this only a particular level of the general system.

When I asked Rabash at the beginning of my study about what life and death in our world are, he answered, “This is like when you take off a shirt at night and put on a new one in the morning.” In an identical manner, you take off this life and are clothed in a new life, from one system of ten Sefirot to another system of ten Sefirot, and when you are found on a higher level, you don’t feel anything special about this. Similarly, a body found on the beastly level doesn’t feel pain when cutting hair or trimming nails, because they are found on the vegetative level. A lower level doesn’t feel a deficiency. On the contrary, its renewal is felt as a nice addition.

So, it follows that for humans in our day, there are chances for rising to the eternal world before their conclusion of this life, and then they will see the present reality as an “appendage” of the eternal world.

However, it is very difficult to explain this. Permission is given and we must act, but difficult work is required before we can implement this task properly. We need to make the access to the method easier for the world;  we must be on a higher level and make the right connection between the levels. This is called being a teacher and beginning to raise humanity upward. We need to see this as our task, our obligation. The essence of the permission is not just that we are allowed to realize it, but it is our role and responsibility to do so.

Our friends are parts of our souls. The fact that we have joined the group is not accidental: We were brought to the group from above. We should realize that it is the Creator who gave us this particular set of friends. He is the one who “placed our hands” on a good destiny, and said: “Take it!” From now on, all we have to do is strengthen our connection and unity with others.

We create basic rules of unity that include workshops, joint meals, and activities. We gather at least several times a week. By doing so, we establish and extend the threads that connect us. However, no matter how much we force ourselves to enhance our connection, we won’t be able to create a force that is strong enough to reveal the Upper Light. We simply won’t reach sufficient “voltage” to “turn it on.”

Why is that so?

Prior generations of Kabbalists were integrated in smaller groups, sometimes less than ten people. That’s how they revealed the Creator between them. However, our situation is quite different. Today, all of humanity is in a corrupt state; the entire vessel of the common soul has been shattered.

This explains why we have to receive as many desires and needs from each broken fragment as possible. Then we have to “digest” them, rise together with them to the Creator, and demand that He be revealed to us. We should do it not for our own sake (1%) but for the external audience (99/%).

Thus, we must be the Light guiding channel so that the Light of the Creator is revealed in us, and we pass It down to others.

To do this, first of all, we should strengthen ourselves (1), then, we turn to the needs of the general public (2), after that, we appeal to the Creator (3). Then, the Light and the abundance will descend from the Creator to us (4) and we transmit it down (5).

We study Kabbalah, and to the external audience we present Integral Education (IE.) Accordingly, we have to learn how to address the general public, in what form and style should we present IE materials, and what set of terms to use when talking with them.

It is said: “Educate the child according to his way.” In other words, we educate people in a way that they can understand so that they will be attracted to us and not repelled. And then, to the extent of how many people will be drawn to us, we can involve some of them into the groups. We should be very gentle with them so we don’t scare off those who are not ready to join us.

Kabbalists always spoke about working in small groups rather than about mass dissemination designed for those who are far from studying the science of Kabbalah. Because until now, the world had never experienced a global crisis and Kabbalists did not have to take this step; this wasn’t revealed in them. However, Baal HaSulam wrote about “the last generation” and contemporary problems; he issued the newspaper “The Nation,” but all this was just the beginning, a “draft.”

On the other hand, we are seeing the crisis, and we are obliged to address the entire world. Otherwise, we won’t reach spirituality; we won’t feel the necessity to appeal to the Creator. After all, we are only Galgalta ve Eynaim (GE), Hafetz Hesed, a very small part with very little “depth” of the desire, which is limited to the zero and first levels; whereas the entire humanity represents the AHP with the second, third and fourth degrees.

So, if we don’t receive this great “thickness” of desires from the rest of the world, we will have nothing to address the Creator with. There is no other choice. In contrast to prior generations, we are simply obligated to “go to the general public,” accept their needs, and raise them above.

In his articles “The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee)” and “Matan Torah (The Giving of the Torah),” Baal HaSulam writes that we have to serve the entire world as a transmission channel between the Creator and the nations. There is no place to learn how to do it; we are constantly developing the part of the methodology called Integral Education. Development is underway, and day by day we steadily advance.

Question: Have countless reincarnations of humanity for millennia not produced any spiritual effect?

Answer: Everything is accounted for; everything has its own account; however, our generation is definitely more important than the previous ones. Indeed, they were preparation for today. Nothing happened for a reason until now; people had no independence in the true spiritual sense.

In fact, it is not about bodies but about the same souls. The point in the heart went through cycles of life, becoming more obvious, and today we are finally able to bring it to light.

And besides that, the influence that brings people to this state, so that they will become independent sooner, passes through us to the external audience. It is said, “All shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest.” In other words, everyone has to grow spiritually, to identify the root of his soul, and to connect his “cell” with the common “body” consciously, with awareness, efficiently and effectively.

So, everyone has a place in the community and differences arise only in the order of entering it. And this order is determined by the system’s parameters.

Question: But not everyone will come to the group?

Answer: In the end, of course, everyone. Indeed, our final state is unity, the same as before the breaking. We just return to it gradually, if desired, according to one’s efforts.

On this path, you will feel what is above you and what is below. Above you, you will find the Kabbalists of all generations: the active part of the system. And below are those who have not come to the correct realization and whom you have to help.

As a result, each of us is like a communication channel, like a capillary that transfers vitalizing forces to other cells.

Question: Do you see a student as small or do you see his potential when you answer questions?

Answer: I don’t see any form at all! I don’t see the student or the act of dissemination, but rather a desire that has no physical form, no limits. It seems like a spot, a cloud, and I work for it. But I don’t see a person at that moment. What difference does it make what he looks like? Even in our world when you live with someone for a long time you stop seeing his externality but rather communicate with his inner self.

Baal HaSulam, “The Teaching of the Kabbalah and Its Essence”: “I am glad that I have been born in such a generation when it is permitted to disclose the wisdom of truth. And should you ask, “How do I know that it is permitted?” I will reply that I have been given permission to disclose. Until now, the ways by which it is possible to publicly engage and to fully explain each word have not been revealed to any sage…

And this is what the Creator has given me to the fullest extent. We deem it as dependent not on the greatness of the sage, but on the state of the generation, as our sages said, “Little Samuel was worthy, etc., but his generation was unworthy.” This is why I said that my being rewarded with the manner of disclosing the wisdom is because of my generation.”

Thus we can understand the historical events in which we were sometimes allowed to reveal the wisdom of Kabbalah as in the case of Moses, the prophets, the Great Assembly, Rabbi Shimon, and a chain of individual Kabbalists during the time of the exile until the days of the Ari, who was given permission to reveal it and accordingly reached the spiritual height he did. Besides, there were many Kabbalists who were not given such permission since the time they lived in was not right for the revelation. They performed corrections by themselves because they were in the upper system of bestowal, but they couldn’t publicize what they did.

In the meantime, the process advanced until the time of the Baal Shem Tov who publicized Kabbalistic messages by his actions and not by writing books. The point isn’t whether he wanted to or not, it has nothing to do with the desires of the Kabbalist. Each one performs the mission he was given.

Finally in the last century, Baal HaSulam also received permission to reveal the wisdom. We already live in a generation in which everyone is allowed to study the wisdom of Kabbalah; it is allowed to publicize it and to teach it to others. All the limitations have been removed, as Baal HaSulam tells us in the beginning of The Study of the Ten Sefirot. It is said that thanks to this wisdom the “children of Israel” will come out of exile.

Question: In the framework of widespread dissemination, we are essentially involved with the integral method. But together with this, we have adopted a version of The Book of Zohar with the commentary of Baal HaSulam. What is the role of The Book of Zohar with the general public?

Answer: I suppose that the time will come, and together with it, the intelligence and understanding will come through which after introductory lectures and events that we are organizing on the subject of integral education, we can bring people to the source, to the wisdom of Kabbalah. For it is only from there that we draw the knowledge, the understanding, the power, the truth, and the goal.

In any case, we must do this, we must reveal the science, the wisdom, the logic, and the conceptual basis to people. From where, how, and why did we derive our method? It is up to us to explain the action of the natural forces scientifically, to explain that the Creator is a characteristic and not a belief in some kind of spirit.

So gradually we are educating the generation, we are teaching internal group psychology, we are advancing it through learning, and we are talking about the forces that act within us, about the benefit that is possible to produce from connection. And that is how we are making people aware of the wisdom of Kabbalah.

All of the social articles by Rabash explain how to connect correctly so as to discover among us some kind of new feeling that can be called the Creator. That is what Baal HaSulam writes about in his articles. How do we internalize the comprehension of our reality into consciousness, into a framework, that can be controlled and understood through the filters of our absorption? All this is scientific material, very empirical.

It is no accident that Baal HaSulam rejected philosophy in everything that is based upon spiritual science. So we also want to act rationally and bring the entire world to an approach like this. First of all, it is up to us to be aware of it in the right way. But essentially, the goal is specifically to transform it into common knowledge.

And here it is logical that through a rational approach you constantly ascend to an unknown state. This is precisely the right approach; at every stage we break out from our previous limitations. We are not prepared to do this ourselves, but there is a higher level from which we draw the power that develops us and attracts us to it.

This is a scientific fact. According to the scientific data that is what is done in the evolution of nature in our world.

And in order to explain this to people, we need The Book of Zohar, even simply to read in it within a circle together with the rational scientific study of the laws of evolution, religions, beliefs, the substance of creation, the perception of reality, and so forth. You see our reaction to the shared learning will be correct and useful if it will be preparation for reading from The Book of Zohar, and on a lower level, from “The Study of the Ten Sefirot.”

Within The Book of Zohar is found the intensity that we need; it is so strong that we must receive it in “small portions.” And then we, ourselves, will begin to discover what this book is talking about.

We are living in a generation that is ready to discover what the Kabbalists, beginning from Rabbi Shimon to Baal HaSulam, didn’t discover. This was withheld from them due to the period of exile through which they needed to pass. But we, as of today, according to what Baal HaSulam wrote, are found on the threshold of the redemption; for the first time we are ready to utilize the potential of The Book of Zohar.

Question: How do the efforts we make in dissemination in North America influence the growth of the global group, its power, and the quality of the lessons?

Answer: You cannot even imagine how your efforts influence all the factors that you have mentioned.

In the past most people had a steady job and they received daily wages: You worked one day and your received your wages and went home; a person didn’t know how much he would earn the next day.

This is how I feel the success of our global group every day. It mainly depends on the success of your dissemination in Russia and North America. The quality of the lessons in these two regions is amazing and at the same time totally different in volume and in depth. It has nothing to do with the success of the central group. In Israel we can advance and overcome problems on a local level. But when you succeed in dissemination it suddenly gives us an immense push outwards. This positive power is conveyed to the outside world through you and not through us.

Then I immediately feel that I can explain things more deeply and express what has accumulated in me, like a cow that hasn’t been milked for a long time. So your success in dissemination suddenly opens up such channels and I am simply freed of the great amounts of knowledge that have been pressuring me. The more efforts you make in dissemination, the better I can convey our method to you. But if there is no serious external vessel, I will not be able to give you anything.

My dream is to express our method in the best, most correct way starting from the beginner who doesn’t know anything to the level that he can be under the influence of Rabash and Baal HaSulam. I want to illuminate precisely the part of the way that is still dark and foggy for you so that you will understand it correctly and accurately and will assimilate it and be able to fulfill it.

It depends on how much you yearn for dissemination on the one hand, and on the other hand, on the unity and connection between you. This is what will allow me to explain our method better.

Question: Most of us wish to participate in new projects, but we lose interest very quickly. How can we keep people’s motivation so that they will continue to work on the project they have chosen?

Answer: Working on a project is your collective obligation to one another and you have to fulfill it.

Notice that an obligation to one another is no different than an obligation to the Creator. If I take it upon myself to be committed to a certain project and then neglect it, then as Rabash and Baal HaSulam say, the Creator repays us in the same way and our action is also measured from above in the exact same way.

If I neglect my project because of my laziness or because of other circumstances, then I summon upon myself the influence of the Light accordingly. It isn’t because this is desirable or undesirable above; the Creator has no such feelings as “I want to” or “I don’t want to.”

It is the upper force and it influences us according to our exertion. So when we stop yearning forward, its yearning for us also stops in the exact same way. It is an automatic action of two opposite forces: Our desire and the Upper Light.

Question: You are saying that sooner or later the nations of the world will accept the wisdom of Kabbalah and the fact that it comes from Jews. Does this mean that integral education is a transitional phase until the 99% of humanity is ready to accept the wisdom of Kabbalah directly? Or will they be able to manage without it?

Answer: As we advance, we will show everyone who we are and what we are. It will happen gradually, gently, so as not to hurt anyone, and not to give them an excuse to reject the information. Throughout human history there has been a lot of prejudice against the Jews: A Jewish conspiracy, enslaving the world, etc.

In order to soften this perception, we bring people integral education. Not only for that reason but also because they don’t need the wisdom of Kabbalah in any way, are not attracted to it, and it doesn’t interest them.

Although Kabbalah is supposed to be for the Jews, even in Israel they are unable to perceive this wisdom. They don’t want to hear about it, they hate it and are even more afraid than the other nations. But we have to shatter the iron wall between the wisdom of Kabbalah and the world.

Will the masses understand that integral education is the wisdom of Kabbalah? Yes. They will come to understand and discover that it comes from ancient Babylon. They will study Kabbalistic history as the egoistic evolution of humanity and will understand what we understand.

I don’t think we will be able to hide this. If we don’t do it, the Internet will, and so will our enemies.

Mass dissemination in Israel, for example, is done without mentioning the wisdom of Kabbalah and who we are at all. But our enemies bring out every detail they can find and spill it all out.

Why? So that we will overcome the potential obstacle between us and the upper world, so that Pharaoh will be revealed in his full anger and all the “dogs” will bark at us as hard as they can. Only then will we want to detach from them internally and get rid of the feeling that we are subordinate to them, that we want to be in contact with them. Only then will we be able to detach from our ego, from Egypt, from Pharaoh. Otherwise, there is no way we can do that!

We have to experience the ten plagues of Egypt, but in the meantime we identify with the ego, with Pharaoh. This is why we experience all the blows.

In other words, according to the way our campaign is going, I see that the wisdom of Kabbalah will still be presented as our ideology and we cannot escape it. I don’t think that we will be able to hide behind anything.

If it is revealed gradually, it is a sign that the time has come, and that our enemies will work for us.
