Question: Does a person choose his environment?

Answer: No. As it is said in one of the articles of Baal HaSulam, the Creator brings a person to the desired state: “You place my hand on the good fate, to say, ‘Take this for you.’”

It depends on us only to strengthen ourselves in this way, or at least not to leave. Cling to it with your teeth and keep it that way.

Question: It is said that a person is obliged to nourish from his environment. What kind of nourishment are we talking about?

Question: How can I imagine bestowal as a good force if the beginning of this action happens in the quality of reception and my egoism does not perceive bestowal as good?

Answer: You play at it. As Rabash writes: He must believe above reason and imagine that he has already been rewarded with faith in the Creator that is felt in his organs, and he sees and feels that the Creator leads the entire world as the good who does good (Rabash, Article No. 28 (1987), “What Is Do Not Add and Do Not Take Away in the Work?”).

The attainment of faith above reason should be developed in each of us with the help of a technique called mutual guarantee. We cannot raise and correct ourselves, but if we are in a group, then each can guarantee for the other.

And so it should be, each one with respect to everyone at least in the ten, in the group.

Question: Is mutual guarantee a part of the self-cancellation, annulment?

Answer: Of course. In order to fulfill the principle of mutual guarantee, a person must first cancel himself. Otherwise, how can he think and care about others?
