The Relation Of Nature To Humanity

Laitman_707Question: Can we, in a state of isolation, from our small shells separated from each other, perceive that general idea, that general message, the pressure that nature has on us?

If so, what should a person start with, from his family, from his country, or from all over the world at once? How can he get out of his shell? Where is his space in which he can feel the right pressure?

Answer: To begin with, we must understand that it is not a matter of any physical actions with arms, legs, or tongue. Our movements must be internal in order to become aware of ourselves as one single organism, which in Kabbalah is called soul or Adam.

Adam is not the first person, as we used to think. “Adam” translated from Hebrew means “Man.” The entire human community as a whole is called Adam.

Therefore, we must take into account that nature refers to us as Adam, meaning the common humanity.

And if, in accordance with our development, we do not come to the conclusion that we are one common Adam, that is, a system in which everyone is interconnected and must support each other, then in this system there is a bias between what we really are: selfish, alienated from and hostile to each other and what we should be today according to our development on the part of nature.

The difference between what nature requires of us, and what we really are gives rise to all kinds of impacts from nature. These are environmental and technical problems, including viruses and everything else.

All negative consequences arising globally in human society, in each of us and between us, are the result of our inconsistency with the single common system called Adam.

Also, Adam is translated as “similar to nature” or “similar to the Creator,” from the word “home” – “similar.” And it turns out that at every moment of development, the degree of lack of our likeness to integral nature causes, on its part, a negative impact that manifests itself at different levels: inanimate, vegetative, animate, or human.

Now it manifests itself in the form of discrepancies at the animal level, meaning in the form of a coronavirus.

HaVaYaH – The Structure Of Our Desires

laitman_548.02Question: What is HaVaYaH?

Answer:HaVaYaH” is the four-letter name of the Creator (Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey), which includes all of creation. Everything that is created and exists in the world falls under the four stages of the cascading of the light, which are called HaVaYaH or the names of the Creator.

The upper light, while passing through these four stages and building the entire universe, highlights the essence of the Creator, the Creator’s attitude to creation.

Question: If we take the matter of our world, for example, a table or a person—regardless of what it is—then the structure of any desire is HaVaYaH?

Answer: Yes. We just do not see it, do not notice it, do not feel it. Whatever the world is, big, small, macro, micro, no matter how we look at it, you can always see HaVaYaH in it.

Remark: Even in Kabbalah, the term “Adam HaRishon” is constantly used.

My Comment: The fact is that everything created in the universe, on the one hand, is called HaVaYaH and, on the other hand, it is considered a structure called Adam.

By Adam, we mean not a person in our world, but a system that includes everything. The Creator created creation in such a way that it ultimately comprehended Him—the Creator. Therefore, creation goes through developmental stages until it reaches the Adam stage from the word “adameh” meaning “domeh,” similar to the Creator. And, therefore, everything created can be called Adam.

In addition, Adam HaRishon is creation in its original form, which undergoes all kinds of transformations and comes to its final result.

Question: What is the difference between HaVaYaH and Adam HaRishon?

Answer: Adam HaRishon consists of HaVaYaH. But when we talk about HaVaYaH and how this structure reacts to the Creator and wants to become like the Creator, we call it Adam.

Question: That is, all of these things seem to be in potential form, and a person reveals them with his feelings just like DNA, in our world, contains all of the information for the development of the human body and the properties of a person’s character?

Answer: Yes. And then it is revealed.

Question: And what are the ten Sefirot?

Answer: The ten Sefirot are the ten parts of which any complete, corrected desire for bestowal is composed.

Question: What is the difference between HaVaYaH and the ten Sefirot?

Answer: It is the same thing. Although HaVaYaH consists of five letters; four and the tip of the letter yod, it is still ten parts.

Adam and Eve—The Two Communication Systems

laitman_275Question: What were Adam and Eve like? Should the relationship between a man and a woman be similar to their relationship?

Answer: Adam and Eve were not people but two communication systems of egoistic desires to receive and desires to bestow. The Torah tells us exactly that. We must come to a state where both systems are fully integrated and one person is created from them.

Basically, Adam is alone. After all, the Torah also says that in the beginning there was only Adam and then God created a woman from his rib. All this needs a long explanation, but in short, the system must come to the point where we connect together and again turn into one single system called Adam. This is not some kind of a biological image and not a person of our world.

We humans descended from monkeys. There are no questions at all regarding this. These species of monkeys gradually developed until increasing egoistic desires appeared in them, which turned them into people.

That is, monkeys are much better than us. In us, in uncorrected people, egoism is much greater. But don’t worry about it, correct it.

The General Vessel Of Humanity

laitman_595.01Question: Does all of humanity have to connect as one single vessel?

Answer: Of course! Each of us carries inside of oneself a particle of the immense shattered vessel. This is the reason that we must gather all the particles and reach a state of absolute adhesion, of actual love.

The first to do this are those in whom the point in the heart has awoken. If the point in the heart has awoken in you, you can already begin the process of getting closer to others in whom the point in the heart has also awoken. You will see how you will begin to reveal the general vessel in the connection between you.

To the extent that you reveal the general vessel, you will begin to reveal its filling that comes from the upper light, the consciousness, and the feeling of eternity or of immortality, of the entrance to a totally new dimension. It is in your power to do so. You can do it now, in our world. Just do not stop.

All the people in the world who engage in this, each in his own unique way, help each other because we are all particles of the one shattered vessel.

Connect The Shards Of The General Soul

Laitman_117Question: Explaining the topic of the shattering of the vessels, you said that we need to unite with the upper world and connect all the pieces.

When you say “we,” do you mean all of humanity or just the part that was free from unclean desires (shells)? Does the process of correction mean the coming of the Messiah?

Answer: Reconstruction of the shattered vessel takes place gradually in each of us and in all of us together. We help each other assemble the shattered general desire. Before the shattering, it was a totally altruistic desire and it operated only in love and bestowal.

Then the general desire was shattered into small egoistic pieces, and there is a shattered piece of the general desire in each and every one of us. We exist in this form today.

The only purpose of the wisdom of Kabbalah is to explain to us how to unite into one general whole. We live in a generation that is starting this work. All the Kabbalists before us only prepared the wisdom of Kabbalah for its implementation and made preliminary corrections.

We are the first generation to start the process of connecting the shattered shards into a vessel, a soul, a desire, whatever we call it. This action is fulfilled by our mutual efforts in groups, with the help of the upper light that we draw by our desires and our intentions.

The light that comes seemingly pulls us out of our ego and connects us to each other into one desire. This is the reason that this light is called the Messiah, which stems from the Hebrew word Moshech – to pull, meaning to pull us out of our egoism. Kabbalistic terms may seem mysterious to us, but they actually explain the meaning of actual actions in a very practical manner.

What Is Equal In Our Destinies?

laitman_760.2Question: You say that in the end, everybody’s destiny will turn out well. But each person has his own root of the soul and the path of moving toward it is completely individual. How can everybody’s destiny be equal?

Answer: What is equal is the fact that everyone’s specific effort should be in accordance with his soul, with all the properties that arise around the soul, in order for a person to realize its potential, its final state in the common system of Adam. All this is so interconnected that no one has any preference over others.

In the common soul, we all achieve absolutely complete correction. Therefore, he whose egoism is bigger, his correction is more difficult; and he whose egoism is smaller, his correction seems easier, but in fact, it is not. It all depends on the help he receives.

As a result, it turns out that everyone is absolutely adequate and everyone is equal. It is similar to the structure of a human organism. If it is perfect, then no cell has any preference over another one. If you remove one cell, this violates the perfection of the whole organism.

Therefore, in the future we should not even touch on this topic. After all, in the final state, everyone is equal and absolutely perfect. In order to strive for this perfection, everyone is given exactly the same conditions: the bigger the egoism, the bigger the requirements for its correction, and the smaller the egoism, the less the requirements. But practically everyone reaches complete perfection.

Why Is There So Much Suffering In The World?

laitman_571.06Question: Why does humanity suffer so much? Why is such suffering necessary if it does not directly impact the point in the heart? What is the connection between the suffering and the awakening of the point in the heart?

Answer: In order to understand this, we need to learn about the general structure of the soul. The soul is one and we are all inside it as shattered particles since the time of the shattering of the general soul, which resulted from what we call the sin of Adam HaRishon. There are five levels of Aviut (thickness) of the ego in the soul, and in addition to that it is divided into different attributes in all kinds of combinations.

It is therefore very hard to say why every individual has this or that predestined fate. It depends on the reincarnation of the souls. After all, we connect to each other endlessly, merge, break up, and draw apart. It is impossible to imagine the extent to which this system operates in mutuality and takes into account our initial state when we were connected, and then when we were shattered into different parts, and now when we are starting to gradually come together.

The ultimate goal is to reach the same level of unity as there was at the beginning, but now it already includes all our efforts to connect, by which we become absolutely identical to the upper force, to the light, to the Creator.

And the fact that each one has such a complicated fate, we cannot understand; it is not clear why some people suffer more and others less. For this we need to study and to know the whole system. Then you will see how perfect everything is, without any concessions or exceptions for anyone.

On the other hand, you do not see all reincarnations of lives. You do not understand what those people had and what those people will have. Eventually no one can say that it is better for someone to have something and for another to have something else. No one can do that, not even the greatest Kabbalists, not to mention those who are the furthest away from the wisdom of Kabbalah who have not even have been born yet, and where they exist and how is unknown.

I can assure you that no one can reproach the upper governance about any injustice. If you attain the system of the soul, you will see how integral it is and how each and every moment it guides us to the attainment of the absolutely perfect whole state.

The Essence And The Root Of Unity, Part 7

laitman_936Unite in Order to Rise to the Level of Man

It is said that unification creates life on a new level. This refers to unification above our egoism when we do not destroy it, but accept it as the left line against the right one.

The fact is that this is not an instinctive unification that exists within a certain framework in animals. It involves growth on a completely different level—the level of Adam (Man), from the word “domeh” (similar to the Creator).

In order to accomplish this, we cannot use any earthly sciences or techniques. Here we must be guided by a very special science, by a special method, called the science of Kabbalah, when with the help of special forces revealed by us at a higher level of nature, we are looking for the means that will help us to unite and create the entity called a soul or Adam.

The feeling of people who have succeeded in uniting in this way and have balanced their natural egoistic power with the altruistic power in nature is called life, the upper force, the Creator.

This is the next, fourth level of our development, which exists above inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature; this is the level of Man.

Two Meters Of Neutral Zone

232.09The whole reality of this world needs to be incorporated in our relations with the upper force of nature. But in today’s reality there are many voids. After all, what is coronavirus?

The virus shows that instead of the connection between us, there are empty areas that need to be filled with the right relationships. And revealing these gaps between us allows us to see that it is impossible to relate through them, because through this corrupted connection we transmit the virus to one another.

The virus revealed huge gaps between us that need to be filled with friendly relations. And if we cannot build such bridges of connection, it is better not to go there at all and sit at home.

The distance between people is desire, and the virus reveals new desires, new qualities, new relationships that need to be established between us. If through this two meter distance from each other we connect in a new way by becoming as one person with one heart, then the Creator will be revealed between us.

The virus shows empty spaces that need to be filled with a good attitude. And then we will achieve a new connection, more similar to the system of Adam HaRishon. All parts of this common system will begin to work together, in unison, in mutual understanding. Instead of imposing on the other what is good for me, I will give him what is good for him.

And then the distance between us will begin disappearing and the world will start connecting precisely through these gaps between us. All parts of reality will unite and form a new, corrected system of Adam HaRishon, within which the Creator will appear, and organize and fulfill our connections. This is not a distance of two meters, but desires filled with the revelation of the upper force.

It will take time to understand this and begin to implement it, but it will happen, and the whole world will talk about it. We just have not yet begun to close these gaps between us with right, good, kind-hearted relationships. But as soon as this happens, the world will immediately see that this is the solution and cure for the coronavirus, that this is a new reality, and that the world should be exactly like this.

Acceleration Of Spiritual Development

laitman_938.04Question: American neuroendocrinologist Robert Sapolsky said: “Alter one gene among tens of thousands, and approximately half way through one’s life there occurs a dramatic transformation of personality.” Taking the ten as an example, how does the development of an individual soul influence the system as a whole?

Answer: We can influence the development of all souls in the entire system that represents one soul and bring it to the state of Adam from the word “Domeh,” which means “similar to the Creator.”

If we accomplish this through our own efforts, we will accelerate our development, but not under nature’s compelling blows, as they say, “with a stick,” but we move ourselves toward the goal.

In essence, our only opportunity to progress is in an acceleration of our development. In this case, we will naturally get rid of this stick that hits us from behind and progress independently like a child who wants to be learning on his own and not by coercion.

We already exist in our ultimate, perfect state, we just don’t sense it. We need to walk all the way through and accumulate certain conditions, then we will feel that final state.

Question: Does the acceleration depend on us?

Answer: It depends on how we get together. Such gatherings as congresses and even being together like we are now, significantly speed up our spiritual development. So it is worth doing it more often.
