Answer: Secrets are what is hidden from me. It will become clear tomorrow. The secrets of nature or the secrets of the Creator are one and the same: that which has not yet been revealed to me.

Question: And what does “peer” mean?

Answer: The most important human sense is his sight. The light of wisdom personifies a look, a vision. This is the deepest degree of knowledge.

Even in court witnesses are asked: “Have you seen?” And if they answer that they only heard, it does not count as evidence.

That is, we understand that vision is our brightest, maximum sensation of the environment.

Question: Does sight mean corporeal sight?

Answer: This also implies inner vision—the vision of wisdom. That is why The Book of Zohar says “to peer.”

Question: What is the exit from Egypt? What is “Egypt” from a spiritual point of view?

Answer: Exiting out of Egypt is coming out of egoism and entering the quality of bestowal, unity and love.

Question: Where does it start from?

Answer: A person begins to feel that he lives aimlessly, no “gods” or beliefs fill him, they do not give him a complete answer to what the meaning of life is, its purpose. He gradually outgrows what he was taught and what the environment teaches itself and holds on to.

He feels that he needs something more: to know why a person lives, for what, and how everything works. It is a question about his existence, which feels completely pointless to him.

Question: Are such desires that develop over the course of evolution called spiritual aspirations?

Answer: This is the initial aspiration.

Question: And then man reveals the only force of nature?

Answer: No. This does not happen immediately. The fact is that he does not even know where or how to look for this force of nature and how it controls a person.

His main task is to find the Creator, because this is the only force that controls everything. And for yourself, and as if against yourself, no matter how, but there is always only one force. To reveal it is the most important thing for a person.

However, a person doesn’t know how to find it. He comes to study in a group and is told that this force is the opposite of egoism. This is the spiritual force that exists now in him in which our whole world was created, and he must get closer to this force of the Creator, the quality of bestowal, love, and connection.

After all, our whole action is to unite us again into one single soul, which has broken into 600,000 parts, and we must unite these small private souls into one single soul.

Conception, pregnancy. and birth are the main elements of any developmental process. Even in these material processes, there is much that is unknown, hidden, and beyond our control.

It is difficult to understand the subtleties of the mechanism of this work and even more so to control it and find out its internal engine. Of course, conception pertains to the power of the Creator.

The birth of the human body belongs to the animate stage, and the birth on the human level is spiritual birth. We are talking about a person of our world in whom, thanks to his own efforts and processes controlled from above by the Creator, the upper force, the upper system begins to be born. Thanks to this, he will be able to call himself human, Adam, that is, similar to this upper system developing in him, the Creator.

We feel that there is some mystery in how a new life suddenly begins to develop from one cell. This involves some unknown force that gives the cell a boost to develop. We also experience this in our ordinary, corporeal life, and therefore, we perceive pregnancy and the birth of a person as a miracle.

And even more so, it is a miracle in spirituality. The most difficult thing is the first entry into the spiritual world, that is, into the sensation of spiritual forces acting on a person. He feels his soul starting to develop from one point and connecting with the forces acting on it. This is the beginning of the soul, spiritual conception from a drop of spiritual semen.

It takes many years to reach this spiritual conception, to establish a connection between the upper force and the forces of man. When there is this sensory contact in a person for the first time, his first connection with the upper force, the Creator, it radically changes his whole attitude.

He begins to see himself and the Creator as partners and understands that only at the moment of readiness for full annulment will he be able to start a new life. His whole attitude to life, to himself, and to the Creator changes.

Before, everything came from his natural, egoistic desire. But now he feels that he is ready to break away from his egoism, that he has the necessary understanding and strength for this, and that he is ready to imagine himself existing outside of his egoism and to act for the sake of bestowal. That is, he wants to act for the sake of the Creator without having any personal benefit at that moment.

This detachment from the desire to receive is one of the components of the process of conception and then birth in the spiritual world.

All actions leading to spiritual birth a person can perform only in a group, receiving through it forces from above, from the Creator. The Creator is within the group. To the extent that a person is ready to submit himself to it, he receives the forces of bestowal that help him build himself into a man. Otherwise, he will remain a dead drop of semen that has not yet begun to develop.

All the forces for development come through the group, through the ten. Therefore, only if you know how to gather the ten, unite, and be included in it, you can start talking about spiritual birth.

If I want to advance in spirituality, then every second I must transfer all my feelings, attention, and love through the ten to the Creator. And even if I do not feel any desire for it, I still try to do it artificially.

It is like a family that has adopted a child and tries to give him as much attention as possible although they have not yet become attached to him with their heart and feel him as a stranger.

And yet, they put more and more energy into it until they begin to feel him as a true member of the family. The more heart and care they put into this strange child, worry and care for him day and night, the more they feel him as their own. They love the effort put into it because it is part of them.

This is how we must act in relation to the Creator. By putting more and more attention and efforts from my desire to receive pleasure to the desire to bestow to the Creator, I build Him. And therefore it is said, “You have made Me.” It turns out that the Creator becomes dear to me because I made Him dear myself.

The Creator becomes the good that does good because I want Him to be so. I do it all with my own hands and this is how I advance and build the Creator.

Therefore, the Creator is called “come and see” (Bo-Re) because you need to come to this revelation by putting a lot of effort into it. And then I will see what I have done and will enjoy what I have done. Otherwise, it is impossible to reveal the Creator.

We work in order to mold ourselves into a human being, but we also mold the Creator in the same way. We build the form of the highest out of our desire to receive pleasure, and the Creator fills it with the power of bestowal and love. The more I put in this effort, as in an adopted child, the more I build my image inside Him, my corrected form, which will be filled with the spirit of bestowal and love and will be called “come and see,” that is, the Creator.

When many groups approach the transition from the corporeal to the spiritual world and every ten wants to unite and realize it within them, this is already a huge event, the birth of the soul.

We know from corporeal life that the main thing is the beginning of the pregnancy, its retention so that there is no miscarriage, and then childbirth. This is a very complex process in which all sorts of complications are possible. But when all this passes and a person is born, he begins to grow.

The most difficult thing in spiritual work is the first grasp of spirituality: connection around the spiritual point, which is one for the whole ten. If we all grasp it, we begin to develop, receive more and more fulfillment from it.

The process of spiritual growth consists of ups and downs, the alternating growth of the quality of reception and the quality of bestowal. After all, we cannot receive the power of bestowal without feeling the lack of it. And so we must first descend into egoism, feel all of its evil and the necessity to correct it into bestowal.

So we keep swaying back and forth like a beating pulse or the processes taking place in an embryo. But this is already the work of the force of bestowal on our natural force of reception in accordance to our desire to move under the authority of the force of bestowal.

This is where the birth in the spiritual world begins; it starts with the desire to annul oneself in the ten so that the upper force will act on us and do with us whatever it wants. We are ready to completely separate ourselves from our egoism in order to become like the Creator.

If a person tries to implement it himself, he will certainly end up with a miscarriage, because he is alone. But if he is included in the ten, in the friends, then he will not drop out. If we unite and strive for the same goal, for the same power of mutual bestowal and support each other, then we begin to develop correctly.

And as soon as I separate from the ten, I become dead, like an organ cut off from the body, and there will certainly be a miscarriage. After all, spirituality, unlike corporeality, is perfect, and there can be nothing partial. If someone goes out, it creates a problem for everyone.

Therefore, it is necessary to protect the connection between us and the connection with the Creator in every possible way. To the extent that everyone annuls himself before others and everyone annuls before the Creator, we give the Creator the opportunity to take care of us, like a drop of seed in the mother’s womb giving itself to the authority of the mother.

The whole Torah writes only about how to get out of the egoistic desire and enter the desire of bestowal, which means exiting Egypt. Therefore, the whole method of spiritual correction is associated with Egypt. Every day, in every action, a person should remember how he came out of Egypt.

With each of our actions, we want to rise above the egoistic qualities that are increasingly revealed in us every second. It turns out that we are always coming out of our egoism, out of Egypt, either physically or mentally.

The physical exodus from Egypt may be long-past history, but it is not about history and geography. It is about human qualities. I am constantly discovering new egoism in myself and must always rise above it, which is called coming out of Egypt. Every action and effort we make is directed at how to escape from the Egyptian slavery.

For this exodus, everyone must come together. The plagues of Egypt came for this purpose, and the first blow occurred even earlier among the sons of Jacob and forced them to descend into Egypt.

The brothers did not want to join Joseph, whose name means “gatherer,” that is, a special quality that should unite us. They did not want to unite, so they sold Joseph into Egyptian slavery. But then, because of hunger and adversity, they themselves were forced to descend into their egoism, into Egypt, and when they met Joseph there, they joined together.

The Torah tells us about all the situations that can arise in the process of our work in connecting in tens and how to begin to appreciate the quality of Joseph due to the correct connection.

And then from Joseph we come to Moses (from the word “Moshech, pull”). After all, Moses was pulled out of the waters of the Nile as a baby, and on the other hand, he pulls out all the people of Israel, everyone who wants to get out of their egoism, out of Egypt, out to the Creator.

“Earth (Eretz)” means “desire (Ratzon)”, and “Israel (Yisrael)” means straight to the Creator (Yashar Kel). From the first introduction to the science of Kabbalah to the end of correction, we are concerned only with how to get out of our egoism, that is, out of Egypt.

Question: What is one soul?

Answer: One soul is one desire that was completely connected to the Creator and then broke into many parts, like in the Big Bang only at a higher level.

When a person comes to a Kabbalistic group, it is explained to him that our entire movement is toward unification.

In fact, it is written in ancient sources that in the time of ancient Babylon, all of humanity was like one family. No one wanted to dominate others. But then they experienced a sudden explosion of egoism between them. So Abraham, who was their spiritual leader, called everyone to unite.

Question: How does this happen in a person?

Answer: A person begins to understand that he has no other choice. If he wants to reveal the Creator, the meaning of life, then he must shift to the next state, from the egoistic quality of reception, the egoistic power over others, to shift into a state of unity, love, bestowal, and connection.

Question: Few people are able to connect with their own people such as parents, spouses, and their own children. How can I unite with other people’s children if I can’t unite with my own?

Answer: We unite, not with other people’s children and people, but with like-minded people who have the same goal as us: to rise above our egoistic nature and begin to feel higher powers. “Higher” does not mean mystical forces. They are simply above our egoism.

All that we feel now are egoistic forces within the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human levels in nature. We need to rise above all of that. Then, we will really begin to feel all matter, all nature, and all creation.

For this, we need a few more people with whose help we can work our way out of ourselves and out of our egoism in order to feel everything that exists outside of us. This is how it works.

Question: How will the upper force manifest itself? What is this feeling?

Answer: This is the property of bestowal and love that will bind us to everything and to everyone and, this way, we will include the entire universe, meaning all the worlds and all the universes. Everything will suddenly come together into one specific system and will be felt inside of us.
