My Thoughts On Twitter, 4/8/18

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

Trade wars pose a threat to the world.
Countries develop toward proximity, but the growing #ego separates them.
Therefore, #Kabbalah advises that the only right path is to correct the ego so they will interact as parts of a single body.
#TradeWar #Ego #crisisaverted

Dissolve in streams of thoughts
At the lesson
And soar in them, like a bird.

What is #good, and what is #evil?
For others’ sake is good, and for your sake is evil.
Now you’ve found the spiritual compass.
#spirituality

Blood stops still
In anticipation
Of a world of changes

The final form determines the original one
This means everything is inside me…
And is perfect for attaining the goal

The world in front of you is you
The world inside of you is the Creator
Combine the worlds.

A warm cloud envelops me
It’s the Creator embracing me
Not concealing His love

Always in anticipation,
Holding my breath
It’s about to happen…

Finish my poem for me
However you wish!
I will gratefully accept it

Thoughts fly by like the wind
Feelings pass by like waves
And I am like a cliff…

Fillings by the Light are tastes (Taamim)
Outpours of the Light are reminiscences (Nekudot)
Anticipation of the Light is birth (Leida)

The heart whispers a prayer
But the mind makes it wither
To my dismay

Bow down your pride
If G-d will permit you
To bow down before Him

My article, “The Future of Jobs: Working on Being Human” on #BIEN Basic Income Earth Network is trending on #REDDIT #UBI #futureofwork

Like the heart valve lets blood pass
So my screen lets in the Light.
But the pressure increases…

For creatures, start and end are preset
But who will get there first:
Me or the Creator?
#Wisdom

Suffering is absence of the Creator,
The connection between us –
Fill the whole world with Him.

Erev Rav (the mixed crowd) chases those fleeing Egypt…
These are those who leave & those who attack.
When they come to their senses, they will be corrected, but after everyone else.

The #heart whispers a #prayer
But the mind makes it wither
To my dismay

Bow down your pride
If #God will permit you
To bow down before Him
#quotesoftheday #Wisdom

PART II:
All #problems come from the Creator.
All problems are solved by coming closer to Him.
#Spiritualwork_ML #Kabbalah

PART I: Those wishing to walk the path of the Creator always see that they are mistaken and evildoers. They cry out to the Creator to bring them out of evil, as when coming out of Egypt. (Rabash. The Creator’s face is for evildoers)

A person with a point in the heart
Has one mission:
To create Adam and the Creator out of others

How do you look inside yourself?
Look at the friends and feel your reaction.
This is called “looking inside yourself”

The next moment,
I live in the present

This broken #world gives #joy
As it moves toward #change
The hour is close.

Who should I thank more:
The Creator for the group
Or the group for the Creator?

Pride dries up over the years
In order to humbly
Reach equivalence with the Creator.

The world has competed its EGOISTIC path
What’s next: the path of light or suffering?
Depends on me… How scary!

So delightful are the moments
Of contact with the Creator–
All of my sources are in You…

I implore you to check
If I am on the right path?
Twilight…

Our mission is to unite and by doing so, allow the spreading of that heightened unified #consciousness to spread to humanity as a whole. #Israel

Atop a board for many years
Bowing my head before the waves
I want to be like Rabbi Akiva …

Two angers have grabbed hold of me
A good one and an evil one —
Fighting for possession of me …

Future Of Work Article Trending On REDDIT

REDDIT published my new article “The Future of Jobs: Working on Being Human:“

The Time As Bitter As Maror

laitman_261At the beginning, the spiritual path seams good, attractive, inviting, seemingly promising us all kinds of attainments and revelations. But then we begin to understand that we need to pay for everything, that what is required from us is to bring ourselves to equivalence of form with the spiritual degree. The path becomes harder, not so attractive anymore, even repulsive, confusing, humiliating.

This is the time that the Maror (bitter herb) symbolizes. Indeed, it is not easy to walk through it because it is like searching for the goal in complete darkness, through a great many dangerous trails, narrow bridges, climbing up the mountain to the King’s palace. Reaching it seems as likely as shooting a tiny coin from a great distance.

We need to sharpen our senses, to become accustomed to the new state, to rise above reason to a new kind of sense. We need to increase the importance of the goal and the Creator. Otherwise, the spiritual goal loses its importance in our egoistic desire. We see that many of our friends leave the path because they could not grow and develop the feeling of importance of the spiritual path within themselves, above the darkness and difficulties.

“And only the heroes,” as Baal HaSulam writes, will achieve the goal, through lack of choice and thanks to mutual guarantee. This is the period of Maror (bitter herb). Only those who have established themselves correctly will develop the new system within them called faith, will start working in bestowal, disconnect from their ego, and exit from the exile to the land flowing with milk and honey.*

We must use each other as parts of one soul. And therefore, my work with the friends is so that I see myself responsible for their connection, to bring them to the adhesion with the Creator, in order to bring Him contentment. I should treat them like the Creator, as if the Creator needs them, not me.**

Our work is against the will to receive, which needs to be inverted, building the will to bestow above it. We need to reveal the whole evil of the ego, to “chew” it like Maror until we feel all the bitterness because it stands in our way to adhesion with the Creator. All the pleasant and delightful tastes in our ego that were sweeter than honey are now turning into horrible bitterness that is impossible to tolerate.

We start to hate everything that brings sweet egoistic fulfillment and we are willing to feel such a bitterness in it that will help us escape. Escaping is the only thing we can do.

We find this bitterness in every labor we do in Egypt; we want to reach bestowal and we cannot. And we cannot turn this bitterness into sweetness, into good, so that bestowal would feel sweet to us. We can still feel bitterness in receiving, as it is written: “And the children of Israel sighed from the labor.” But bestowal becomes sweet only outside of Egypt, after receiving the Torah, and the correction of Bina, forty years in the desert.

And so, our main work in Egypt is to chew the bitter herb, the Maror. Until we chew it completely, we will not exit Egypt.***

The Whole World is Egypt

Laitman_182.02Our whole world, our whole life, is Egypt, the place of exile. We were born here and grew up feeling ourselves in a wrong reality, very remote from the power of bestowal, love, self-sacrifice, unity, that is, the properties of the Creator.

The study of the wisdom of Kabbalah is meant to set us on an increasingly correct vision of the world so that we can see that there is only one person in the world.

Everyone must see himself as this only person. If he incorporates all humanity into himself, thanks to unity and love and various corrections that he must perform in himself, he will really see only one person existing in the world.

In the meantime, we discover a multitude of forces in the world contradicting and opposing each other. We need to attach all of them to one source, to one desire, to one force beside which there is nothing. In this way, we will gradually come to the conclusion that only self-annulment is the sole action that we have to do at every moment of time, abolishing all the forces that come from me, from others, from everybody else, so that only one upper force that completely dominates over everything remains.

This is the state that puts us in front of the Creator, to His side, to adhere to Him, and to be included in Him.

How To Feel Perfection?

laitman_938.04Question: It is said that the Light is at rest and in perfection. How pleasant is it to feel perfection? Why does perfection posses an attractive power?

Answer: The perfection that Kabbalists speak about is not what we consider to be perfection in our world. In Kabbalah it is the quality of bestowal, feeling what others feel, having a sense of their desires and filling them.

Question: Is it possible to imagine the quality of bestowal existing in this world?

Answer: By working together in a group, we can reach the state where we begin to feel others with the help of the upper Light.

It is not even about others; they were also created for the purpose of exiting themselves and beginning to feel the upper world. Everything around me was not created so that I would bestow. It is not about bestowal; the Creator could fulfill everything and give.

The problem is to help me find independent organs of sensation to feel everything that is outside of me—not inside yourself, but outside yourself. After all, everything we feel passes through our self-serving egoistic filtering machine and what remains after filtration is called “this world,” “our world.”

To feel the world outside of us, existing before the filter, we are given a group, and we must try to work for it. During such attempts, the upper Light acts on us and we begin to feel what is outside of us. Thus, we gradually begin to comprehend a new dimension that is higher than our egoism, and thus it is called “the upper world.” So, we enter a completely different realm, one of eternity and perfection.

New Life #960 – Zionism Then And Now
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Summary

The Dreyfus Trial was the event that prepared the ground for the establishment of the Zionist movement. Jews wanted to escape from the anti-Semitic pressure and pogroms they had suffered in the Diaspora, and Israel was established as a result. The ideology of the Kibbutzim and Moshavot was unclear and capitalism subsequently developed. The true State of Israel cannot be built apart from the principle of “Love your neighbor as yourself.” As long as this rule fails to be realized, Jews will continue being hated because it is their role to provide an example of a corrected relationship to the world.
