Question: We already have a large world group; there is a teacher and primary sources. Why is so difficult to realize the law of love for others as for oneself?

Answer: Indeed, it may not be so burdensome to hear about it, but the problem is with its realization. We initially need to understand and to become aware of the fact that the two different parts, the “plus” and the “minus,” must be connected with each other. In the physical level of nature, everything is simpler: There from a higher degree, the Creator obliges various elements to become connected and in general they build the atomic structure.

What is it? Why do the particles not scatter from each other? The fact is that there are some forces that oblige them to interact in spite of the opposition between the two. The negative forces repelling them from each other belong to matter to the “vessel” (Kli), and these are the forces of rejection, hatred, and polarity. The positive forces necessitating them to be together are the forces of love. That is why it is said, “Love will cover all transgressions.” It’s love that covers the gap between the opposites.

We observe these mechanisms in atoms and molecules where things become much more complicated due to calculations of the previous and following stages of development, etc. Either way, calculations are always done according to the same principle, becoming more and more difficult with time.

It’s worthwhile to view the entire universe in this light. No one teaches us to love; we are talking precisely about the law of nature. Once, Abraham discovered it; it’s said that while looking at the sky, he asked questions about who created the world and for what. He was prompted by that era’s escalating conflicts between the Babylonians. Mutual hatred was growing and Abraham tried to understand: Why? From where could the power of unity against the forces of separation be taken?

Internally scrutinizing the still, vegetative, and animate nature, he realized that the entire creation, except for man, is imbued with the law of unity that obliges all the parts of creation to be together. That is why they live and develop. People are another thing: The confrontation between positive and negative is constantly increasing in them. Where then is the opposite force of connection and love at the human level? How could it be brought into action?

Apparently, Abraham understood that the Creator had entrusted this work to man. We ourselves must add this part and complete creation. That is why it’s said that the Creator starts and the righteous finishes.

So, if we don’t start to work on love for the other, the connection between us is severed. For example, in Europe today, the process of unification does not continue in the right way and the continent is torn apart. The absence of “additions of unity” everywhere leads to the growth of opposition and eventually to explosion. This is the perspective of humanity at all levels, be it that of the family, raising children, etc.

That is why we must work on correct unification, meaning above the “plus” and the “minus.” Don’t touch them because everyone will remain with his inherent properties. Work only on “love covers all transgressions.”

We need to understand that the positive and negative cannot live without each other. Conceptually, there is no Creator without the created being and there is no created being without the Creator. They can exist only jointly. In this case, the two opposites always repel each other, and then the third force resolves their contradictions, strengthens their bond. This mechanism gives rise to development, life.

For many years, scientists have been struggling to solve the mystery of the emergence of life. Where did living cells come from? What gave them birth? An excess of love gave them birth. The force supporting the still nature out of an excess of love begins to develop additional desires and then we demand more. I don’t settle for mere existence, I want to understand, to feel, and to comprehend all of reality, and this need gives me life that began with corals and has evolved to the most complex structures.

Ultimately, it’s the Creator who slightly illuminates the still matter, and it becomes vegetative. A little bit more Light, and it turns into animate. Just a little more, and the human degree emerges.

Thus, covering the positive and negative, the “plus” and “minus” with love, I form from them a system, an atom, for instance. If I add a greater power of love to it, then I affect the positive with negative strongly and thus cause imbalance. There is seemingly a surplus of energy and besides saving the relationship, they “think” about something greater. The spark that I have brought prompts them to search; the excess of strength draws them forward. This is their life force.

Question: We unite in order to correct. How exactly do we achieve the goal of our unity? How do we arrive to a correct connection?

Answer: We have to build the group in a way that is completely compatible with the upper system. The upper system is all about mutual bestowal and kind relationships. Everybody is equal; each one is lower than others so that one can receive from others what they want to give him; each one is higher, bigger, and stronger than others for the sake of giving to them what one thinks is beneficial for them.

Everybody is equal within the entire system; everybody is “blended” into one; each one empathizes with others’ desires and strives to fulfill them. This is how we form a general circle in accordance with the technological laws and analog systems with which we are familiar.

For example, our body is an analog system in which various processes take place. The goal of these processes is to maintain all parts and subsystems in balance. This is what is called “health”: blood pressure, sugar level, and all other parameters are well-adjusted. This kind of balance of bodily systems is the major law of nature.

So, if we want to see our groups balanced, we should take care of making all our friends equal and have them included into one another in bestowal and receiving. The system has to act in a way that each of our friends loses his “I-ness” and together with others builds something in the middle, a “raspberry sphere” of our unity (WE).

Then, instead of sensing just our personal life in a physical body, we start recognizing unity and all phenomena associated with unity through a spiritual man’s (Adam’s) emotions and intellect, because we become similar to Him. “Adam” is called a “Man,” not each of us individually.

If we happen to acquire a sensation of the integral analog network, we find ourselves at the speaking level, yet we still remain present at the animate level. All our desires and aspirations are directed to provide for our physical body, the same as animals that look for shelter and food and create families in order to reproduce their species. Of course our demands are a little bit higher than theirs and we are trying to satisfy them as well. However, only when we take care of “Adam” will we attain the human level of development.

Accordingly, we have to build our relationships in the group. There is a list of mandatory conditions that reflect the laws of the spiritual system that influence us. The roots that govern us descend from the upper world into this world. If we want to be in good shape, all we need is to rise from our level to the spiritual level. This is where the forces of Nature are oriented nowadays.

So we should follow the Kabbalists’ advice and apply efforts to achieve this state. Technical achievements are useless at this point. All is carried out in human society in our relationships. If we change them in a way that humanity lives up to the laws of unity (WE) and becomes compatible with the contemporary world that is becoming integral and completely interconnected, if we understand that Nature (or the Creator) obligates us to establish connection, we’ll find out why we as of yet cannot receive any answers to the calls of integrality. Only then will we rise to a new level of existence and will feel good.

So, we have to follow the patterns that are accepted in the groups since they are defined by spiritual laws. The group is meant to become a spiritual system. Each group’s task is to implement principles of integrality… When we begin connecting into one system, the world starts feeling it. It sets up an example of a correct interconnection among people. Then, the world will come to a better place.

This process seems to be pretty far away as of now, but you will see that it will come to life very soon. The developmental speed is exponential, so the world will come to this point quicky because there is no other choice.

Question: Why is it that the majority of people fail to notice that their desires are seriously changing?

Answer: Because there is nothing to replace them with. They are failing to see the crisis because the mass media presents information in a way that benefits those who pay and organize it. This must make it easier for someone to stay in power.

The problem is that there is no other solution. If you were to turn to the same government or mass media and ask: “And what do you propose?” They have nothing to offer, and because we do not have anything else, we continue to “smile at a bad performance.” We have no other option. But on the inside, we are all shaking because we do not know what will come next. People just want to live a peaceful, pleasant day. And those in power feel the same way.

This is why I always explain that people are the ones who need to change whenever I talk to people. Mankind has reached a completely different level of development; we need to stop breaking nature, making it suit us. Instead, we need to break ourselves to correspond to nature, and this is a completely new stage.

People often react to this the following way: “So what can we do? We cannot change people. No one will listen to us. You are proposing a fantasy, plans that can never become real. So let things stay the way they are, and we will see what happens later. What can we do, life will…”

All hands are raised when faced with problems that change people because people need to become integral beings and their lifestyle needs to become united with the full understanding that they depend on one another. This is the only way for them to come to harmony with nature and begin to receive good forces from it.

Question: What does the next integral stage of man’s development require of us since it will happen whether we want it or not?

Answer: It requires a reasonable approach. For the first time in the history of mankind, we will be able to control our destiny if we understand that we need to change.

We need to build a new, completely interconnected society which will be like nature itself. Once we enter this level, we will acquire and distribute all the things that we need for our corporeal existence according to individual needs. And this will satisfy us, and we will dedicate all our strength and time to working on unity because we will discover our new degree in it.

This way we begin to discover a completely new existence on the level of forces, thoughts, in the virtual world. And our corporeal world will remain a physical world where our bodies will continue to exist, but our spirit will simultaneously exist in a parallel, higher world where we find a new, absolute, and eternal existence in the communication between us.

Question: Will unity be the source of pleasure for future mankind?

Answer: Yes, unity will be the source of pleasure. This is a completely different kind of fulfillment because when we connect between us, we create a common desire so big that it receives a powerful energy that exists in the Universe.

We enter a level beyond time and space; we go to a completely different field that quantum physics talks about. We must enter this field with our new, common, integral feelings and mind. Nature is leading us towards this; it is the existence in this field that is called “man.”

It is possible to reach this state consciously either by accelerating our development and directing it down the path of good or through resistance, which is what we have been doing until now. This is why even though we are still going towards the very same state, currently we advance through suffering.

Question: What is the “Nation of Israel?”

Answer: The “Nation of Israel,” just like any other nation, is a collection of different people, but, unlike other nations, they are united according to a special principle of “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Once, people used to live in tribes in ancient Babylon, and then they split up and dispersed in different directions and different nations that are corporeally connected, they were created by their corporeal desires.

In those days, Abraham collected about four or five thousand people out of several millions that made up humanity during the Babylonian age. Those who joined Abraham were people in whom the spark that yearned for something else was burning, the spark that evokes people to ascend above nature. They followed him with great hopes and expectations of finding the Creator.

They received from Abraham the method for the revelation of the Creator that allows a person to learn to love others in order to attain the love of the Creator thanks to this.

This group left Babylon even before the great dispersion and over time became the nation of Israel. First, the sparks were not united and everyone had different desires and could not unite.

However, Abraham began working with them and uniting them by a common idea and one goal, a perception that is above the egoistic desire.

He operated according to the principle that “Love covers all transgressions.” However, people can feel love only if the desire for pleasure grows in them. They acquire a sufficient power of rejection when they overcome it and ascend to love. Otherwise, the uncaring and alienation between them can extinguish any spark.

The dynasty of our forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob begins here. The group fulfilled its measure of initial unity, and then a new wave of ego covered it, and as a result, the successful and unsuccessful attempts to unite turned into a kind of work that we call the “exile in Egypt.”

It is the same group. No matter in which tent it dwells, what it studies, and in what it engages, its current state is simply called “Egypt.” “Pharaoh” appears between the friends, mutual hate, and the Torah, the method by which Joseph sustains the group, and later on, Moses.

Finally, the “study group” reaches an unbearable state because the ego simply tears them apart and they don’t know what to do with it. They really want to connect and to establish the mutual connection between them, but the ego separates them so much that they reach a dead end.

Then, they not only understand, but also enter a new state of the essential and vital need to escape from the “king of Egypt,” to exit self-love and transcend it.

Just imagine how strong you must be to hate the ego, how repulsive and unbearable it must seem so that you would “leap” and hold yourself above it. You simply don’t have the power to contact it, and this hate raises you. This is the meaning of the “exodus from Egypt.”

However, escape is not enough. How should we unite now? We still must coexist with the ego. In this state, the children of Israel stand before “Mt. Sinai,” not above hate, but rather, around it. Then, the Light comes, and thanks to it, they acquire the understanding of how to unite correctly, which means to use and to what extent to use the hatred in order to unite above it.

They begin to work mutually in different ways, and it is impossible to do so without incorporating the negative force. In order to receive the positive force, they make a covenant with each other, and between them and the Light, the Creator. Thus, their self-correction begins.

The group is the same group, but from now on it is a nation since now they really are united just like any other nation, but they are united in a collective desire, in sparks of bestowal.

The basis of their unity is not the ordinary corporeal desire for a good life in this world, but the necessity to live in the Creator, in the upper. In fact, the children of Israel also are attracted to the “good life,” but behind these words, there is already a different meaning. The term of what actually is “good” changes.

Question: What is the indication that a person is advancing? Is it when he feels that he is increasingly more repulsed by the friends or that he values them more?

Answer: A person’s advancement doesn’t depend on either one of these signs, but rather on the extent to which a person can “weave” the right picture and correctly combine the feeling of repulsion and attraction. The repulsion stems from the evil inclination and the attraction from the good inclination, and a person determines when he has to choose. He creates a connection, the combination, and he works like a weaver on a loom.

Everything depends on how he combines the two opposite forces: He understands that the repulsion is just as essential as the attraction. He has to discover that all the forces that are revealed in him with regard to the upper are always a blessing, and for his own good. There is nothing in the world, in reality, that is harmful or bad; everything depends on whether a person can see and justify it.

Can he unite the two opposite forces, not just in order to connect them but in order to make a new reality out of them? This is the new psychological picture of the world that is woven of two forces, as from two threads.

This reality doesn’t exist by itself: All of reality, both the fictitious and the real, exist only if we begin to identify it as we create it for ourselves. So we have to try to connect all the power and force and obligate them to work together, as this is all our work.

We have to see the whole Torah, human history, our whole evolution that is made of the creation of the spiritual reality from the two forces that were revealed to Abraham in this light, in this perspective. Our success depends on how well we manage to connect the two: the evil inclination and the good inclination, and do everything for the connection, the unity between them.

Question: It is known that a sharp qualitative change is always a change of phase, a sharp jump. Will integral development and correction be gradual or will a gap of potentials grow at first and a qualitatively new transition to a completely different level take place afterwards?

Answer: A critical state is an explosion, a nuclear world war, and other problems.

Thus, we must try to instill integral upbringing and education by all possible means. Also, if today we already see how effective it is to all kinds of organizations, then we can offer it to factories and institutions, various societies and communities, to housewives (via TV), schools, prisons, and so forth. We can instill the system everywhere possible, in any place where people even want to get just a bit closer to it, to begin to understand it at least a little bit.

In the integral network, people connect between themselves through their desires and thoughts. This is how the “wisdom of the crowd” works when it connects and creates some product.

Thus, we need to try to involve as many people as possible in integral unity, and  they can act via their thoughts. Also, there is no importance here to the social standing of a person, not to his general education and so forth. They can be simple people as well as representatives of the elite. It doesn’t matter since at the next level all corporeal differences disappear.

Question: An ordinary person gets everything in a particular way: Why do I need to go out to an integral level now? What is this transition? In fact, this is a transition from an ordinary crowd to a crowd with integral consciousness.

Answer: This is a transition to unity. It is very critical that a person change his nature. He must live by other laws and must consider those around him as he considers himself. He must understand and feel that this is good.

So, we must incorporate workshops and talks, or the workshop should come after the conversation when the workshop participants begin to discuss between them what we said. First of all, they confirm that this is realistic. Secondly, they confirm that this is desirable. Along with this, through their sharing and discussion of everything in a group of ten, they are using the common group intelligence.

However, I don’t think a society like this exists today. It certainly depends on what kind of event to which you are coming. For example, if you come to a group of coal miners in Chile or Venezuela, it is very likely that they will not understand this yet. This has not reached them yet; while in North America and Europe, one already can talk quite seriously about the crisis, about how it feels, about the need to solve it and so on. People already are feeling various threats internally. Therefore, they have no particular problems with being motivated.

Question: In homeopathy, there is a therapeutic component that is very hard to understand since we haven’t yet reached a state at which we can feel it. However, it can be developed in the course of integral studies and seminars where people get closer to each other and acquire similar tendencies in their desires.

Answer: It was always very popular in all countries and cultures. Today, there are countless people who light candles, perform various various actions, and believe in what they do. I am not talking about charlatans who simply make money on these beliefs; rather, I mean people who sense these things, believe in them, and practice them.

Several years ago, there was a huge fair of alternative therapeutic methodologies in Israel where a variety of stones, pendants, amulets, and candles that have particular scents were demonstrated… Anything you want!

It’s amazing what our civilization has managed to invent! People truly believe in it. But this is not the advertisement of some clinics or treatment centers. People were always attracted to these kinds of things. However, only a group that correctly interacts internally and manages to elevate above its own egoism, only a group that connects counter to its natural reciprocal repulsion, only such a group can be turned into a motivating and serious detector, into a research tool with the help of which we are able to really locate authentic causes of events and particular vibrations and sensations.

Question: What will the unified goal of such a group be?

Answer: The goal is to make others healthier, nothing but that. Such a group is in balance with nature, whereas the rest of the humankind stays imbalanced, thus ruining the general equilibrium. As a result, such a group would feel a tremendous desire to make others healthier.

Everybody will eventually realize that if they don’t “mend” the health of the entire humanity or if they fail to influence others in a positive way, they won’t be healthy themselves since we all are parts of one system. We feel these things at all levels; all of humanity is interconnected. So, a misfortunate event that happens in one place immediately travels to other areas. Until the entire system is corrected, nobody will be able to recover from illnesses.

The true reality is the Creator because He exists on His own, independent of any additional force. He just exists and that’s all! However, the existence of any other reality except the Creator depends on two opposing forces.

None of them alone can provide this existence. Only due to their connection, they produce grains of our temporary, artificial, short-lived reality, which is called creation (Beria) because it is outside (Bar), outside of the Creator, and exists only under certain conditions. This artificial reality is our life today.

However, the Creator has given us the opportunity to understand and connect creation from below upward with the help of two opposing forces: bestowal and reception. Thus, we complete the universe, which was created by the propagation of these two forces from above to below, adding to it our own consent from below to above. It turns out that we seemingly bring to life the artificial creation that was created by the Creator, making it real.

By our consent, accepting the Creator’s thought in order to assemble ourselves from two opposing forces at every step from below to above, we give creation the real force, being the Creator’s partners as equals, on the same degree. After all, we take His mind, His direction, and His attitude, and we add this upper divine mind and attitude to the forms that spread from above to below, due to which they seemingly rise from below to above.

The two forms, receiving and bestowal, come to us already prepared. We are not responsible for the evil, egoistic nature and, moreover, for the kind nature of bestowal. However, due to our yearning for good properties, we make our own contribution, achieving understanding, knowledge, adding our personal attitude that is becoming united with the Creator.

What matters is not the two forces themselves, receiving and bestowal, but their connection—consequence, “derivative”—the notion of unity that is born out of the work of the mind and heart.
