Come, let’s imagine a technical component, a trigger, like in a computer, a “0” or “1”, or a small faucet that opens and closes something.

It is the same thing with us.  When we connect, we open a valve and something moves inside. And when we are detached, the valve is closed. That is how we work and that is how the whole system works. Light from one part enters into another part or it doesn’t. Everything works only on the basis of this single activity of connection or detachment, and nothing else.

This means that when we connect, we can influence the entire system of creation, all the worlds, our world, the nature of the still, vegetative. and the animate, our health, everything possible. We move or trigger the Light. There is nothing else in the world, only this energy. Either it moves and animates everything, or it has no access because of some wrinkles in the system.

How can we somehow create a system like this between us where the Light will flow in circuits within us, will increase and grow all the time so that we will constantly work on the discovery of more and more new valves?

Actually, these are called Sefirot. As we know, there is a Masach (screen), Ohr Hozer (returning Light), and a Zivug de Haka’a (striking interaction) on the Light and its extension from a second Partzuf to a third and so forth.

In this manner, we regulate the direction to which the Light will be extended and to which systems. And likewise, we regulate its intensity. We can activate parallel currents, all kinds of Partzufim and so forth. We can study its essence, its intensity, its characteristics, and the quality, according to what we switch on and block.

This is creative work, as you are involved in the study of the Creator, in that system which He made and gave to you so that you would begin to study it from your encounters: His thoughts and ideas, and of course, the purpose.

From me to we, from evil to good, from detachment to the development of good and Light. This is how we evolve.

And we always need to evaluate our actions and influences from above only according to the qualitative approaches and connections. This is the only way. Otherwise, we are mistaken and don’t understand the Creator. But if we specifically look from this point of view, then generally we begin to see His thoughts and ideas, His actions, and we begin to work together with Him. He summons all kinds of states, we react to them correctly and go in coordination with Him.

Thus, evolution is heading towards unification. The question is, when this “social” process began.

The ability of cells to actively move and interact with each other in accordance with certain rules allows scientists today to talk about cells’ “social behavior.” Probably, something like the described cooperation of similar cells happened on our planet about 4 billion years ago, on the threshold of emergence of life. It seems that this ability to interact or more precisely to cooperate, which appeared from somewhere, expresses the essence of the difference between the living and the still.

Finally, in our view, the most important thing is that cells do not simply interact. Together, they take care of the whole body and work for the common good, leaving for themselves only what is needed for life. Even self-sacrifice is not foreign to them.

Researchers from the University of California in San Francisco (USA) found self-sacrifice at the cellular level.

It turns out that yeast mother cells give their mitochondria to offspring and do this so selflessly that eventually they themselves die.

We can sum it up. Cells tend not just to unite – they seek cooperation. As a result of this activity, cells rise to the next level of the social ladder – the level of organisms.

Question: Should the groups of “ten” that are formed at the convention be composed at random from unrelated people, or is it possible to keep those groups of ten that have already worked together for a few years?

Answer: If people want to be together, maybe it’s good. But I would like to warn them that this shouldn’t be habitual. This could nullify what we could attain.

We must attain connection above all possible problems, especially beyond the place where we connect, where we are not familiar with each other. This doesn’t mean that we must choose people who are our opposite.

But still, when we come from somewhere with our group of ten where everyone has been acquainted with each other for some time, has discussed various subjects in circles and workshops hundreds of times, what kind of innovation can there be here?! What is there to work on? Everything would roll along on our habitual pattern. I don’t think this is good.

A group of ten that is shaped and created in a convention must maintain one composition from the beginning of the convention to its end. But if this will be a group of ten that has worked for years, then it creates a problem. I personally would not want them to put me in a group of ten like this. I am familiar with these guys, we have talked about everything among us; one could say half a word and I already know what another will add. I have no surprises with them, I don’t need to change and adapt myself; this isn’t good. So I don’t think that this is the way it should be done, to the contrary.

It is said that we should always see our friends as new. As new! I am going to discover them on a new level. And this begs the question: “Will this work for me with those same faces I have seen in front of me for years?” I work well with them; we have gone through many conventions together. It could certainly be that because of this I will not be able to struggle with myself to approach them, for even in this way they seem close to me.

So I would not recommend being included in a group of ten that has more than two very close friends.

Question: We will be conducting work in groups of ten in the upcoming St. Petersburg convention. Should a group of ten be together all the time including mealtime, the friends’ meetings, the workshops, and the lessons?

Answer: I don’t see the point in walking around in groups of ten holding hands.

A group of ten is considered a whole spiritual unit. In Hebrew it is called a Minyan. There is a condition that you cannot pray if you don’t gather in a group of ten. This means that you cannot appeal to the Creator if you are not in a group of ten. Therefore, the groups of ten are essential in all our events.

During the friends’ meetings everyone is present: the men in an inside circle and the women on the outside. We have to constantly emphasize that we are together with all of humanity, with the whole world group.

The groups of ten don’t have to show their excessive individualism. Their main role is to cultivate the intention: We have gathered here in order to merge into one, so that units identical to ours will connect into one huge unit that is equal to the Creator.

A group of ten is what raises you to the next level; it is a derivative. Those who have studied higher mathematics know that the breaking down of a derivative is shattering and death. If a group of ten breaks down, you cannot raise yourself to the next level any more.

Therefore, we should do everything we can so that the groups of ten will remain intact even while performing different duties in the kitchen or any service. This is important.

During the descent of the desire from the point of the shattering downwards, it is divided into smaller and smaller parts which are constantly mixed according to the intensity and the type of the shattering. It isn’t only about the Aviut (thickness) but it also depends on the level that belonged to the Aviut of Keter, Hochma or Bina.

A correction begins only after the end of the incorporation of all the shattered parts into each other, just like different vegetables, such as tomato, cucumber, or onion that are put into a blender and ground together. First the vegetables are cut into big pieces and then into smaller and smaller pieces, until they become a homogeneous mixture in which it is impossible to identify the different vegetables that were put into the blender.

In the blender there is what used to be a tomato, a cucumber, and an onion, but you cannot see them since there is only a brown mass. We must now correct this mixture and raise all its components from the bottom up. What should we do? Do we have to separate the vegetables again? What is incorporation?

Suddenly we understand that this blender, the shattering, has taken us out of a special state, mixed us together in a such way that we could have never been able to be incorporated into one another if we had remained corrected.

In the initial corrected state, we were connected by the Light that created us. Thanks to the Light, we were a tomato, a cucumber, garlic, or onion. Each of us was another vegetable and although we were all connected, no one was incorporated in the others because the Upper Light connected us. As a result of the shattering, we have reached the state in which we are totally shattered, and whether we like it or not, we are incorporated into everyone else. I want what the others have and I feel what they have in my ego. The altruistic connections between us were maintained by the Light since the beginning of creation but were shattered when we began to feel egoistic impulses, such as, “ the neighbor’s grass is greener,” “what a big car he has!” “What a nice dress!”

This is how we began to absorb each others’ desires. The shattering left a merging of desires in each of us. It turns out that the shattering caused something that we could not have done by ourselves in any way. It forced us to be incorporated in one another.

Today everyone is connected to the whole world through five people he knows. I am not even aware that I am incorporated in the desires of an Eskimo that lives somewhere in the Arctic or of a person living in South America, Australia, or India, because I have never been there. How does that happen? I don’t know, but it is a result of the shattering.

We think that the shattering was a disaster, but it was essential in order to bring us to correction. Now that we have been mixed together the only thing left for us to do is to correct ourselves with the help of the upper Light. What does the Light have to do in order to correct our vegetable mixture? Does it have to separate us into a tomato and a cucumber again; does it have to sort us out? Or should it perhaps take this whole mass and glue it into one vegetable, one vessel?

The mixture is beginning to take on a form according to the levels of the Aviut of the desire under the influence of the Upper Light. There are parts that belong to upper or lower layers. How do we know which layer each one in this mixture belongs to?

In our world there is the force of gravity that builds certain layers in a certain way and there are differences between them. In the human mixture there are also differences between the layers of the desire, yet they are not created by the force of gravity of the earth, but by the force of gravity from above, by the Upper Light.

The Upper Light enters the shattered vessels, which it shattered. But now it begins to correct them and to reform them. The mixture of vegetables is made of the shattered desires that were mixed and shattered infinitely by the Upper Light. Now the Light that Reforms arrives and all the components gradually appear according to their reaction to the Light and thus they feel that they have something in common, whether closer or further away from the Light and from each other.

They clarify whether they belong more to the tomatoes and less to the cucumbers, more to the onion, etc., according to the perception of the Light and according to the feeling of its influence on them. Although they have all been mixed, changes begin to take place in this mass.

There are special parts among all the shattered desires: the Jews. In the past they drew the Light that Reforms but did not live up to its correction and were shattered and fell. They were the reason for the shattering of the whole desire and for the mixing. Now they have to be revealed, which means that a special action is taking place in the world today. We have to see how everyone is incorporated in everyone else. There are the ten lost tribes among us who were incorporated in the general shattering. This is a very complex, varied and deep action, but we don’t correct it by simply returning to the initial state in order to have the tomatoes and the cucumbers that were there before, but rather we correct all the layers together and reach a connection that is 620 times greater. The previous unity was by the Upper Light and now it is attained by the Light that Reforms according to the request of the lower who wants this adhesion.

If the initial adhesion that was sustained by the upper was one unit, the new adhesion is 620 units, 620 times stronger, and it is all thanks to the work of the lower.

The lower asks to remain in the form that was created after the shattering and only wants to correct its attitude. Therefore the general soul is corrected layer by layer according to its awakening; the first layer, the second and the third. Otherwise, there would be no ascent but a simple restoration of the tomatoes and the cucumbers.

We want to keep the mutual incorporation since it is actually by merging that we reach a more powerful adhesion, 620 times stronger, in which everyone is incorporated in everyone else. Therefore we have to be thankful for the shattering and for the opportunity to be incorporated into one another. The Jews were mixed with the rest of the Babylonians and now we can finally start our collective correction!

Question: Why did Israel return from unity to the previous division just a few days after the external threat disappeared?

Answer: This happens instantly, no inertia acts here. Unity does not cool down gradually but disappears in an instant. Either we keep our connection, or it collapses.

Question: So, it turns out that we came back from the front and bomb shelters to our homes and schools, but there will be no rest?

Answer: If we do not hold this connection, we will have no rest. On the contrary, an even greater threat will come to push us to unite. A threat on Israel’s northern borders, and special intifada in the territories are beginning to form.

We will not be able to avoid threats if we do not unite. All the problems at the external borders occur only because we fight a mutual war with each other. If we do not want to achieve inner peace, the war will come to us from the outside.

Question: What can we do to avoid the next missile attack?

Answer: For the first time, the nation felt that it lacked unity. We can no longer remain in this state. First, the former president, then other influential people found themselves in prison. This indicates a very serious, continuous, and increasing degradation of society.

But all this happens in order to bring us to the realization of evil. We must understand that if we do not unite, we will continue to deteriorate and fall until we lose everything. We have no right to exist in the land of Israel if we do not achieve unity among the people of Israel.

To be the people of Israel means to be one man with one heart, or at least aspire to this, seeing in it the only form of existence for the whole nation. If we do not see this, then we have no right to be in the land of Israel.

No one in the world wants to recognize this right for us. Year by year, we will feel that we become more distanced from the rest of the world, and more ignored. We will be like Typhoid Mary, whom everyone avoids because she is dangerous to others.

In the end, the whole world will come to us not only with demands, but also with real threats, with weapons in their hands. If the whole of Europe will side with Gaza and begin supplying it with weapons, what can be done about it? We cannot confront the entire world. It is known what happens to a country that does not what to bow to the rest of the world; it becomes completely isolated and declines.

For the time being, the world is not interested in us, as it is busy with problems in Ukraine, Iraq, and the formation of new terrorist groups. But soon it will end, and Israel will once again be the main focus of the entire world. There is no other place, country, or nation that is more hated than Israel. Everyone hates us by common consent. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the cause of this hatred and draw conclusions from it.

We will no longer be allowed to live from one military campaign to another, nor pay for the possibility of a break in the fighting for a couple of years with the lives of our soldiers. We must understand why this is happening and show everyone an example by our unity.

Question: The people of Israel lack unity, a common goal. What is the reason for this detachment? Perhaps we are too carried away with the Western way of life, where everyone has his own ideology and goals?

Answer: We have come out of exile and carry all of its features within ourselves. But this does not mean that we should remain like this. Why did we come back to this land to live as the people of Israel in the land of Israel?

A few decades ago, I belonged to one nation, you to another, and he to a third. We lived in different cultures and in different geographical locations. And then we came to Israel, but nothing has changed. This is a gathering of exiles, every one of whom comes with his own baggage, protecting what is inside. Or will we want to open this baggage and ourselves from within to unite and become one nation?

The force of unity is the main force of nature, by which we live. But the force of separation confronts it. These two forces must be in equilibrium. This happens everywhere and always: pluses and minuses, hot and cold, tension and relaxation.

The two opposites seem to always be fighting with each other, but in fact they become connected. Life is the combination of these two opposing forces.

But the human being has only one negative force, egoism, and he has no force of connection. Even if we become united, it is also due to the egoistic force. I just want to use someone for my own benefit and that is why I do something good for him, in order to get closer to him.

We have nothing except the negative egoistic force. But it is said that I have created the evil inclination, and I have created the means of correcting it, the Light that Reforms. There is a force opposing our evil inclination, which is the Light, a special internal force of nature, which is revealed to us when we are united.

If we come together to seek this force, connecting with each other, we will find it. It will allow us to rise above our egoism and subdue it. That is, this power of unity should be revealed more than our egoism.

By making an effort to connect with each other, we increasingly reveal the inner force of unity. As a result, this force of unity becomes stronger than the force of separation and begins to dominate. Thus, we become bearers of two forces: the force of separation which acts internally and the unifying force which acts externally.

Human society will live a special new life because we have two forces, not just one. Through the wisdom of Kabbalah, we will achieve a special connection and gain the true force of unity. This force will not be egoistic, as in a gang of terrorists, but will raise us above our ego. The force of connection and the force of separation will exist simultaneously and balance each other out and raise us to a new degree, to a new life.

Question: In Sochi we attained such a connection and unification that you are calling all the participants in the activity the “Sochi Group.” Is it possible in the upcoming Saint Petersburg congress that all will become one homogeneous group of Saint Petersburg?

Answer: Even without Sochi, what I have seen throughout this month in South and North America amazes me: The friends have made a breakthrough and moved ahead. I have never participated in such unique conventions as in Mexico and New York.

Suddenly I saw people who could tear themselves away from their daily lives, their families, and the external world and break through together into a common denominator. Moreover, this was in America, a nation where people are afraid to get close to each other and they protect themselves with fierce dedication. Then suddenly, something like this was revealed.

There were more than a hundred students there from the Education Center that until the convention had not participated in anything. They sat hugging each other, sang in a bar in the evening until two in the morning. People suddenly “disconnected” from their American mentality.

And with the full enthusiasm of the participants, the convention began with an ascent, and also ended with this enthusiasm. Never before had the Americans experienced this. They always traveled home quietly a few hours before the end of the convention, but there was never something like that there!

When I was leaving, everyone stood, cried, and watched the convention end. For America this was something indescribable. I am very familiar with this continent. Moreover, these were not Russians and not Jews, but really Americans! So we have a starting point for truly making our united Kli.

After what we have done in Russia, if we make the same breakthrough as the Americans, then there is simply an infinite state ahead for us.
