The annual Book Fair is taking place in Israel from June 5 to June 15, 2013. The book fair is held in 19 cities and towns across the country; it is very popular and is attended by hundreds of thousands of people annually.

Our books can be found under the brightly colored sign with the number “66” denoting our TV channel and with the QR code displayed on the smartphone screen.

For us, an indicator of successful participation in the fair is the number of people who became introduced to our books. For instance, last year we sold and distributed more than 5,000 books.

This year, we decided to make a qualitative leap, hence the emergence of the QR code: anyone can use it to can download all the books on the smartphone for free. Already during the first day there were 2700 registered downloads. But these figures are far from conclusive because many people forward the downloaded books to their friends.

At the fair, our books are arranged in sections with the following themes: Family and Education, Society, and The Meaning of Life.

Question: The integral discussion is a very unique program. Basically, people will come to see how problems that interest them can be solved at the roundtable. However, regular talk shows that attract television viewers generally remind one of conflicts or fist fights.

Answer: I always talk only about our need to influence each other in a positive manner, without “opposition.” You might deny this and say that this is incorrect, unimaginable, and unacceptable, that through this kind of a discussion, we won’t attract anyone, but I know only one thing: A problem cannot be solved through argument.

From the screen, I show the television viewer how a problem can be solved without actually touching upon it because the problem exists on level “A,” and I raise the panelists to level “B.” When I take them to this level and maybe even to level “C” or “D,” they transform into something else.

Question: In Wikipedia, it is written that, in a roundtable, people don’t accommodate themselves to the opinion of the other. Rather, they add their own opinion.

Answer: I relate respectfully to the public roundtables, but integral roundtables are something absolutely different. What I mean is that its form is absolutely different. It is only positive!

In no way should you express opposition. Rather, everyone is completed on a new, corrected level. One doesn’t enter into any confrontations or expressions of dissent. In this way, we are playing at being on the next level; we only add. If someone expresses his opinion, I explain that it is possible to do even better, saying, “Adding to what my friend said, I suppose that we can do more of this and that.”

I am always building our next integral level together with the others. This is based only on agreement between us—only on agreement! We always rise higher and higher. This is never done through opposition and contradiction. There is no opposition and contradiction!

Question: However, if there are no arguments or reservations, we cannot reach a decision.

Answer: If this is a true and proper workshop, the people are like children playing at building a common home. This makes it more exciting and engaging for them than if they were destructive or directed against each other.

I see how children instinctively use this when they want to play together and not alone. When they are interested in the results of their labor becoming some kind of structure, like trains or cities, then something will turn around and they will work together.

Question: I met with a group of the representatives of medium and large businesses who read your blog. They became interested in the integral methodology and began to show this literature to their employees. The result was a radical change in people’s life values.

They really begin to appreciate life, nature, and health more. However, at the same time, their motivation not only to make money, but even to work at all, disappeared. For example, an accountant quit his job and began drawing, and a businessman could not find the motivation to do business, so his company went down. What could be their motivation that they are driven to move on?

Answer: The problem is that you need to be involved in integral education, rather than self-learning. This is wrong because on one hand, they seem to be convinced that there is nothing in their relationships and activities today that could be worth giving strength and attention, but at the same time, they do not see another goal before them. That is why it is necessary to restructure the entire system and not just to exclude oneself from it as an active element. This is incorrect.

All the books on the subject of integral education are intended to acquaint oneself with it, and then there must be a specialist constantly tied to the groups of people. It is impossible otherwise.

In the integral system there is motivation to improve productivity, to ensure that people in the company think about how they work, how to save, make more economically, and how to relate to each other better. Here, to the contrary, a person leaves somewhere, loses any motivation and the desire to work. This is the wrong use of the method.

Question: Can the entrepreneurs who have completed the school of integral education retain the desire to earn money, and for what purpose?

Answer: It is to correct the world, to match it with the new system. Give me billions, and I will know what to do with it. They need to expand dissemination, to go further into the world! Then, their eyes will light up.

That is, the purpose of business is to further dissemination, to reveal the inner integral system because you disclose nature to all of humanity. You are the most important one here. You feel how you do this every day and all the rest find themselves in the system that you present to them. You feel like a god!

You can invest not only in dissemination but also in competition only on the new basis of building an enterprise where people will work according to this new system. It will be more efficient in terms of labor productivity.

Observe how much productivity will increase if people would desire to work, receive, earn, and simultaneously evolve, and further develop the integral system. For them, work will not be just a way of making a living but a means of expansion, a sensation of ascent.

Answer: In general, there are multiple predictions that confirm that the upcoming final state of humanity is about equality and mutual inter-dependence; we all see how much our world aspires to it. Who could believe fifty years ago that there would be an African-American president? It seemed impossible!

Nature constantly seeks balance in any form: pressure fluctuations, temperature differences; everything strives to equilibrium. The same applies to human society. To the extent that we achieve correspondence with nature’s general tendencies, to the degree of our understanding that the situation that currently reveals to us pushes us to an overall balance, we’ll arrive at this state through the “mild path,” by “shedding less blood.”

Question: Can we say that your prognoses are built on developmental stages of human egoism?

Answer: Yes, by all means! I am not a “prophet,” I am a researcher. In general, the field of my expertise is exploring egoism, meaning the basis of human nature and the environment in general.

However, humanity develops egoism in a negative way. In the still, vegetative, and animate levels of nature, advancement of egoism brings benefits to progressing objects, whereas, at the speaking level, it expands contrary to human interests. The question is: How long will our egoism push us ahead and demonstrate to us that it is harmful? How long will it perpetrate conflict between our progress and our negation of the movement? When people approach this state, revolutions, wars, and other dramatic conflicts emerge.

Question: Why is it that when we talk about the integral network, about integral cooperation, it fades somehow, evades our human consciousness?

Answer: The concept of “integral network” isn’t grasped by a person because it’s opposed to his ego. It’s very difficult for him to invest personal efforts in integral work. How can he exit his ego and begin to think about others? Actually, it’s impossible.

It’s only when problems come to him that are above his egoism: fears, worries, and threats, and then he thinks about the benefits of society. For example, this is what happens at the time of war since the benefit and good of the society and of man become one thing. And even more than that; the benefit of the society is the determining factor, and it’s as if a person is a secondary part included in society itself.

How is it possible that a person will be included within the society as one complete whole without any threats or shocks? For this, public pressure is needed, opinion, a social orientation. But if we leave a person alone without any social pressure, then he won’t be able to do it, since this is his nature.

And that is the level of a real united integral society. This is the same level that is found above the present society.

Answer: This is a natural and fundamental law of nature. When people connect, not merely adding one to the other, but uniting together as a single force, then the next level of integral development appears in them.

The same thing happens in every system. When we assemble it, when we connect it from its various parts, then these parts begin to act cooperatively and reveal their connection. That is, the system reveals a completely different characteristic.

It follows that technically simple actions of people during discussions around a roundtable suddenly reach a new level because with this, they are summoning the power of natural development on themselves through their desire to go to the next level.

Question: Do they need to be ready for this from the start?

Answer: No, they simply will feel this, discovering within themselves the miracle of growth all the time. The child is growing all the time. If they were to leave him without games or society, he would not grow. He would remain an ape.

Question: If people were to change themselves, by all appearances they would just stop wasting their power and energy. Today, two trillion dollars a year is wasted only for armaments. In this process an immense amount of waste and garbage is produced that must be processed, using great amounts of energy. People continue to live in places that are incompatible with life, continue to draw the earth’s resources that are not renewable. Humanity has no clear concept of what is occurring. Most people don’t want to talk about this because they don’t think about it but only about their daily bread….

Answer: The reason for this is that a clear solution to all problems remains hidden from people. Yet it exists, and in order to discover it, the leaders, the ruling elite, must be replaced so that a new humanity can take into their hands the process of organization.

Question: Are you sure that these people will not want to use their control over minds and will not create a new cycle of elite, a redistribution of wealth and government?

Answer: No, because our desires are changing. People have lost their relationship to life that they had in the past, which was to acquire and to accumulate without limit. The result has been a great disappointment in everything. It’s necessary to change a person and nothing else.

According to the assessment of the Red Cross, many people in the European countries like Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Romania are starving; this is in spite of the fact that millions of tons of food are thrown away!

The problem is not that there is not enough food; the problem is in the relationships between people. If we correct the relationships between us, we will bring everything in the world into balance. Yet this cannot be unless there is concern for everyone.

Through integral education one acquires this sensation within weeks. Had those countries in Europe entered into integral education before the formation of the common market, everything would have been otherwise. It was necessary to begin not with a single currency, not with common economic rules, but with a uniform education, with an understanding that humanity is one whole body.

First they would need to create a particular commonality between people, to create a synergy of character, understanding, and communication. As in a family, everyone is different but it is, in fact, one family. This is the problem of Europe.

The same thing happened in the Soviet Union when they began to impose the new regime forcefully without the preliminary education of the population. And now this could happen again in Europe if they begin to use force. To our great sorrow, they are going in this direction at the present time; here and there, they have adopted various economic sanctions. Stalin did this much more simply with the Red Terror, and that was that. We see what is happening in Cyprus. This is also a type of terror against the will.

But there is a very clear program of development for humanity. We must reach the next stage of development, and we will reach it. The only problem is how to reach this in the softest, best, and fastest way. And this depends on the preparation of people, on education.

Together with this, there is no difference in the language in which this theory is presented to children and adults. The point is that each person, by knowing themselves and by their efforts, enters into the level of mutual cooperation like the cells in our body.

Full mutual cooperation brings a guarantee for an absolutely healthy system, and then we feel ourselves at the next level. Also, the period of achievement is determined in advance. We need to reach it soon. And if we, ourselves, don’t long for this, then we will feel how the unpleasant forces push us from behind in a forceful manner.
