There is a connection between us that emanates from our original source of complete interconnection, which is called the system of Adam from the word “Edomeh – similar.” This system is completely similar to the Creator and we are all its particles.

After the breakage of the system of Adam into egoistic particles, we moved away from each other and became opposite to each other. And now we have to overcome the antagonism, the rejection, between us and bring ourselves back to the global connection.

This is our mission. And it should be done here while on Earth in this world. The system of connection of souls means that we all must internally strive for such a connection between us in order to form a combination of forces, thoughts, and aspirations that would be directed only to goodness.

Eventually from our good aspirations for each other, we will create an absolutely integral and interconnected state called Adam or one common soul, which will be similar to the Creator.

In other words, just as the human body lives due to the interconnection of the cells of the body, here we must also be connected by feelings and emotions. And it needs to start right now.

Among all the days in the year there is one special day, which is called “Purim” from the word “Lot” (Pur), the chance that you will win a prize, get lucky. On the one hand, we must hope for a happy fate and prepare for it, but on the other hand, everything comes from above and depends on the Creator, on the way He will make this holiday, this day for us.

In fact, we are not talking about a holiday, but about a special spiritual state that is above everything for which we can prepare. This is why it is called Purim, like a drawing of a lot, which determines who gets lucky.

We are required to give the “awakening from below,” that is, the hope that we will be rewarded with a great light and, as a result, a great correction of our desires. We also need to have the strength to receive this great light in order to bestow, and to attain the entire creation, the entire state of the final correction, which is already waiting to be revealed to us.

Even though spirituality is above time and space, nonetheless, there are symbols of spiritual phenomena in our world, and therefore, there is a special illumination during these days that we can use. Therefore, when we study articles about the Purim holiday on this day, we too become incorporated in this special light that can influence and advance us.

The holiday of Purim is dedicated to the events that took place two and a half thousand years ago in Ancient Babylon, when the royal minister Haman decided to destroy all Jews. The Jews (Yehudim) represent the desire for connection, for unity, and Haman is an inner force that prevents us from uniting, that is, resists correction.

We just need to yearn to be together, above egoistic desire, despite its resistance. Everything depends on how much we will be able to maintain this unity, despite all the disturbances that are so massive today, come from the lowest degree, and affect our very existence starting from ordinary life and up to spiritual heights. But we nevertheless want to be together and cover all crimes with love.

Despite the fact that there may be disagreements and even hatred between friends, we still want to be in the same heart with them. Crimes are sent by the Creator, and we want to rise above them with help of our connection and we ask the Creator for strength for this.

With all our resistance and rejection, we nevertheless want to unite so that all the pluses and minuses, all the forces of connection and separation, would gather together, that is, a Kli in which the Creator will be revealed is built. If we build connection above separation, then we win big.

The main thing is to ask for connection between everyone and the revelation of one force that will unite us. Connecting with friends is the most correct action and it directs us to the final correction. The Creator purposely broke the common soul, and we need to ask Him to connect it back together.

Therefore, we make every effort to connect, and discover that we are completely incapable of any action toward connection, from the smallest up to the one common, largest one. Then we ask the Creator for help. In this way, we correct our Kli by clinging to the Creator in all the ways that have been revealed inside the shattering, and thus, we reach the final correction.

Question: What does the word “Zohar” mean?

Answer: “Zohar” means “upper radiance.” It is the upper light, the light of illumination, understanding, love, and participation, which includes everything in it. It descends upon a person and gives him a sense of the upper governance, the upper force, the higher purpose.

The upper radiance brings us a sense of belonging to the general force of nature called the Creator and makes one feel on a completely different level.

The Book of Zohar leads a person to connect with the Creator. To a certain extent, it can be called an instruction on how to connect with the upper force, to reveal it. You don’t need anything else in this world.

Therefore, it is called Zohar, that is, the radiance one receives from the correct revelation of the Creator. It gradually influences us, corrects, builds, forms and fulfills us.

War teaches us how much the common force, the mutual inclusion, the unification of people, is more powerful than the force of an individual who wants to rule over the community. There is a war between the general and the particular. And to the extent that the strength of the community overcomes the strength of the individual, this will determine the outcome of the war.

Previously, human society was always ruled by two rulers: power and money. But now, it suddenly turns out that truth does not win on the side where there is more money and more physical strength, that is, weapons, but on the third side, where there is power of unification.

Only this power is above all. There are no physical or financial wars left in the way of our development, only the war for unification. The unification will show us the correct state of human society in which everything will be fine and everyone will be satisfied.

When the desire to receive begins to develop from zero, at first it is only a desire to preserve its existence. Then an intention is added to this desire. Why am I doing this? Why do I need it?

The initial degrees of the desire to receive care only about their existence; the inanimate, vegetative, and animate degrees are not called evil. This is just nature, and there is no evil in the nature of plants and animals. It may seem so to a person, but animals do not have an evil intention to harm another. Even if a predator attacks prey, it initially does not have the goal of harming it, it just wants to satisfy its hunger and nothing more.

However, the desire to receive directed at using another and enjoying harming others is the egoism of the human level. Therefore, we develop starting from the fact that we just want to take something away from others. But this is not called real evil yet because I want to take his possession simply because I like it myself. I have no intention of hurting the other, I just want to please myself.

Only when I want to harm another and receive joy from his humiliation, from his pain, then the real vile egoism begins. It turns out that in order to reach true evil, we need to develop our egoism.

This is why our world is now entering a stage where people are beginning to enjoy humiliating each other. I do not need your possessions, but I want you to feel that I am above you and you have to obey me.

An even higher degree is when I will do everything to ensure that you obey and serve me with gratitude. Although you do not want to love me, I will force you! These are real Klipot, impure forces.

Question: What is war in spirituality? Is war a natural human state?

Answer: War is the most natural state, up to the complete correction of the world. After all, the world consists of two opposite forces: plus-minus, day-night, etc. By any signs, any quality can always be decomposed into its opposite and into antagonistic relations between them.

Comment: Enlightenment philosophers Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau looked at humanity differently. Thomas Hobbes said that war is a human condition, a person is born in it. And Jean-Jacques Rousseau believed that this is just a derivative of circumstances and environment, but in itself a person is good.

My Response: The whole of nature consists of two opposing forces that are in a certain state of relative equilibrium with each other. This balance is constantly being disturbed and partially restored again. This is called life.

For millions of years, negative and positive forces alternately dominated each other until they came into balance and the planet Earth was formed.

It turns out that war is an absolutely natural state and peace is unnatural. There is no peace in the world. It can be only if we achieve it on the right balance between two opposing forces.

The meaning of blessings before and after a meal is that we do not forget that we are in a constant, multifaceted, absolute connection with the upper force, and therefore, we should relate to it in this way.

In all cases of life, at every, even the smallest, step, in each of our movements, internal or external, we must feel that we are interacting with it.

Question: Do even such animalistic actions like eating food still need to be blessed?

Answer: But we can translate this action from animalistic to human. If I feel that I receive this from the Creator in order to revive my body and I begin to act in it in the direction of ascent to the Creator, to attainment of the Creator, then it is not just animal consumption of some calories.

It is written in the primary sources that concealment and revelation of the Creator testifies to what I say: either I bless the Creator or curse Him. It turns out that if the Creator is revealed to a man, then he involuntarily blesses Him. And if concealed, then he involuntarily curses Him.

The fact is that the Creator can be concealed and a person does not even want His revelation because he is afraid that it will bring him down and harm him in his good deeds. Therefore, the concealment or revelation of the Creator is not so unambiguous in the sense that if the Creator is revealed, then I will be righteous, and if concealed, I will be a sinner. This is partially true, but only partially.

It is possible that a man will reach such a state when he will be able to bless the Creator also from the states of concealment.

A person constantly receives all kinds of influences from nature, from the environment, and from the whole world through millions of various channels, and he reacts to it.

How can we understand what we are getting and how can we react to it in order to achieve the right mutual arrangement from the level of nature at which we interact with it and move forward as efficiently as possible to the full revelation of nature in us and the full revelation of us in nature?

A person is inside a closed system of nature, which affects him through different channels at all levels: in the family, at work, in society, and so on. If he determines that he can use all these disturbances for his spiritual growth, then this can be called a blessing. And vice versa, if he can’t justify anything, then it is a curse.

But, in principle, he is always given the opportunity to rise, to reveal the nature the Creator), and to achieve blessings. And if it doesn’t work out, then he should take it to his own account.

Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai [author of The Book of Zohar] was revealing the secrets of the Torah, and friends were listening to his voice, connecting with him, and each contributed his part to this unity (The Ramchal, Adir BaMarom (Mighty on High), 24).

Rabbi Shimon and his nine disciples had such a strong desire to attain the Creator in all states of their interaction that they managed to create a mutual inner connection between them. This means that “friends were listening to his voice, connecting with him.”

They were reading passages from the Torah, each of them reacted to these texts, described their feelings, and completed the others, and one was responsible for writing down the words of all the disciples.

Since they were connected with each other, they expressed their impressions from the common source, the Creator, whom they were attaining, feeling, and thus could analyze, verify, influence Him, and receive an answer from Him.

That is, their impressions from this common source is a very serious study of the Creator.
