Question: What should I do when egoism pushes me to unite by saying: “Go, unite, and you will attain the spiritual world”?

Answer: Great! Go and unite. It is good. Then you will see to what extent the ego will be against you, for you, and so on.

Egoism is the angel of the Creator. For now we call it the “evil angel.” Later, we will understand that there is no evil in the world; there are just two opposite forces pushing us toward our one and only source in order for us to understand it.

Question: What can we do with the light that we attract to us?

Answer: The light of correction is what you are asking for. As soon as it comes to you, you immediately begin to understand what to do with it. After all, you raised a request for this force, this understanding, this light, to come to you.

Therefore, just act. You receive according to what you asked for.

In fact, we always receive what we need. Maybe we do not understand our own requests, but at each moment we receive what we need. What is more, we receive only from the Creator, there is no one else besides Him. We just must think about how to use it correctly.

Question: What is this necessity that we feel lately to ask for the friends? I increasingly feel the need to ask for them, for love, for unity, and for bestowal. If I don’t ask, I feel like something is wrong. I want to ask for them all the time, I want to ask only for them.

Answer: This is the most correct decision, the outcome of our convention. If from now on I can continue to live by the desires of my friends and raise them to the Creator, this is the best result of the convention!

We must check ourselves each time: “Is my desire not my desire? Is it the desire of my friends that I receive from them and raise to the Creator?” Thus, I am the link between the entire ten and the Creator, and between the Creator and the entire ten.

What about myself? I am zero! Only a transmitting link from bottom to top and from top to bottom, this is my real role in this Kli (vessel), in the soul of Adam.

Question: On one hand we need to raise the prayer of many, which should be not a sum, but an integral. On the other hand each of us must be in constant dialogue with the Creator. How do these two things correlate?

Answer: We must combine all our requests and efforts so that we can express them collectively to the Creator. Then we can hope that He will react. If we have what is called “one man with one heart,” if we gather in such a structure, then we will deserve His answer.

Only in great desire, yearning, and longing when we are directed to the Creator can we reach some kind of response and reaction from Him.

We must still form our desire in such a way that it is as internal, soulful, and spiritual as possible, and then we will receive an answer. The Creator requires us to be as pure as possible with Him. As pure as possible!

The situation in the world is becoming more explosive every day. The entire world is rigorously following the rapid development of events in Ukraine. Kabbalists, however, do not deal with politics and geographical boundaries.

Kabbalists want only one thing: to add love or at least to decrease hatred wherever possible and reduce the confrontation between people, and we must help to do that.

Therefore, the main tool is prayer. If with its help we manage to cause greater connection among people, it will be for the benefit of humanity and to delight the Creator. The Creator had to create creatures to be opposite to Him, broken, so that humanity would ask for connection above hatred and rejection. Then we will understand, feel, and discover what unity means.

The main thing is to reveal the force of connection. There cannot be one without the other. Therefore, the Creator suffers more than everyone, but He has no choice, He had to create nature in this form. Our task is to try with our prayer, desire, and plea to force Him to correct everything. He is waiting for our request for correction and He will do everything right away. He needs nothing but our desire.

The only thing that is initially missing in creation is our desire to be equivalent to the good force of the Creator. The Creator needs the desire of the created beings, so He created the entire creation in deficiency. And we need to reveal this deficiency.

Therefore, until we ask for peace, fulfillment, perfection, love, and connection, it will not happen. We need to want connection at all levels to the full measure. By this, all of nature, all the worlds, will return to the completely corrected state where we are all connected and all of us will reveal the force of connection, which is eternal and complete.

The Messiah is not a person, but a force, a spirit that appears and disappears according to our desire. When we want to come closer to each other, it comes, and when we do not want to, it leaves. Messiah is a force that pulls (Moshech) us from our egoism to bestowal, love, and connection.

Therefore, if we understand that we need this force that will pull us from the bad into a good state, from separation to connection, from hatred to love, then we are calling on the Messiah. Let’s do it together.

The main problem is the indifference inherent in our nature. Sometimes a specific incident or a wounded animal touches our heart more than a war between countries. In the meantime, we exist in egoistic qualities that are not corrected.

This is why we care about things that are close to our hearts. A small breakdown in your own home worries everyone more than world events, supernova star explosions, or a hurricane on the other side of Earth. This is how our egoism depicts reality to us.

However, if we together with all our might ask the Creator to let us feel in the tens what it means to exit ourselves and feel the force that operates between us, then we will begin to reveal the upper force that resides among us. Then we will begin to notice things in the world that are more important to the Creator and not to our individual egoism.

Even in the worst of times and under the most extreme situations, our hearts are always free. Whatever we face, we can choose how to relate to it. Now that there is once again a war in Europe, we can choose unity. War, after all, is only the most extreme state of disunity. Its antidote, therefore, is unity, and we can achieve unity if we pray for it—everyone, around the world.

A prayer is a precise request that comes from the bottom of the heart to mend a painful situation. In a state of separation and enmity, nothing can stop us from praying for unity and love. We are always free to pray.

A war is won with the spirit, not with weapons. Therefore, we must raise our spirits above our dismal physical situation and pray for the strength to unite our hearts above all the differences, divisions, and hostility.

If all of humanity unites around the war in Europe and prays for it to stop, for the parties to find the strength to resolve their differences peacefully, no ill-will will be able to resist it. Together, humanity can extinguish the fire of war around the world. This war is on us, on all of us. It is our duty, the duty of each and every one of us, to pray from the bottom of our hearts that the enemies will lay down their arms.

Everything that happens, happens in order to connect humanity, to unite it. The terrible events that are currently unfolding must become a springboard for global unity. However, this can happen only if we do not shirk our duty to rise above ourselves and form a global mutual responsibility.

If we do not seize the opportunity we have been given to strengthen unity around the world, then we are also to blame for what is happening and what is yet to happen.

Question: Do we ask the Creator for different things every time or should we eventually come to one universal formula?

Answer: Practically our request is always the same. But since it comes from new conditions because our desire and intention change each time, it seems to us that we are in different circumstances all the time. Yet the request always remains the same: to unite. And its result should be the same.

In fact, the wisdom of Kabbalah is a very simple wisdom; there is nothing complicated about it. There is creation, the Creator, and a method to bring them closer to each other. But since we participate in this with our feelings and intentions, whole tragedies are played out in us. So, it will not be easy. This is the beauty of spiritual development.

Question: Do we have to constantly be in such connection with the friends and constantly search for this formula?

Answer: Constantly. We talk about it all the time and act on it.

Comment: But some of the friends periodically fall out of connection.

My Response: You must make sure that they do not fall out. Hold them all the time and each time start with a roll call: who is present, who is not present, why not, and so on. Your spiritual future depends on this.

Question: Is this the perfect prayer even without their participation?

Answer: You will not be able to do anything without them. Therefore, even egoistically, you should take care of their participation for your advancement.

Question: I asked the Creator to be kind to my friends, to lift them up, but this is all material. How can I do something spiritual?

Answer: It doesn’t matter that we are in the material, egoistic part of creation. What matters is what we ask for.

We always correct from the egoistic part of creation to the altruistic one. This is how the prayer (MAN, Hissaron, lack) rises when I turn to the Creator from my faulty state and ask Him to transfer me to a corrected one. There can be nothing else here!

In a good state, I imagine myself connected with my friends, and all of us together are directed to our common unity, which we call the Creator. We want to give everything,  each of us outwardly relative to the others, to this common connection of all that is good and kind in us. This is the correct aspiration of a person through a group to the Creator.

And the most important is the prayer. That is, one must pray to the Creator to help him go above reason, meaning that the work should be with gladness, as though he has already been rewarded with the reason of Kedusha, and what joy he would feel then (Rabash, Article No. 12 (1991), “These Candles are Sacred”).

The main thing is the appeal to the Creator. Do everything you can. Imagine our world filled with the Creator. Act as if you are inside Him. This is how you treat your friends but not everyone else.

Raise yourself to the level of faith above reason and develop it within the group.

Ask the Creator to help us rise above our state in the quality of bestowal, above what we see in our world and in ourselves within reason. This is called faith above reason. And this work should be in joy as if it had already been awarded.

Question: What is the point of prayer if you believe that the Creator is good and does good? Who am I to disagree with this and see it differently?

Answer: Why disagree? It is precisely based on the fact you assume that He is kind and does good that you can ask to be given states where you could be like Him.

Question: If I ask to see my friends as the greatest of the generation, does the Creator answer such a prayer?

Answer: Sure. Asking to see your friends as perfect is the best prayer.

Question: What does it mean to pray all day? Is it a thought, an approach, a feeling, or an action?

Answer: This is the perception of the world in which the Creator rules. If I treat this world and the Creator this way, this is prayer. I want to be in this world filled with the Creator and constantly connected to the group.
