Question: At the subconscious level, we process large amounts of information with our conceptual mathematical apparatus. If we consider the individual and collective levels, then the question arises, is there such a mathematical apparatus for describing the spiritual structures that are the roots of our consciousness?

Answer: Naturally. If one is in egoism, why can’t one be the opposite of it? Exactly the same but a mirror image.

That is, if I use the spiritual properties of bestowal, then I clearly act, know why, how, for what purpose, and with which forces. In general, in the development of spiritual space, I use everything that works in our world, but in the opposite form.

Question: Shouldn’t this mathematical apparatus be more extended?

Answer: Indeed, its power is greater because it is not associated with personal data, problems, goals, or limitations, but only with my ability to rise above myself. When, with the help of the higher energy, the upper light, I can pretend to be something that gives, then I join the “common computer.”

In our world, I have to create something. In the spiritual world, I don’t have to create anything. I only need to adjust myself so that I am like the spiritual space in which we exist, only for as long as it is hidden from us. Then, as they say, the entire “computer” will be in front of me.

Depending on which qualities I choose from within myself, above my egoism, to that extent and in that style, I enter this spiritual computer, this spiritual field. On the one hand, it behaves discretely and digitally and, on the other hand, with analog signals. So, here, we are faced with both.

Question: When we call the upper force the Creator, we are as if personifying it. If the spiritual space is a field of consciousness, can we talk about the subject to whom this consciousness belongs?

Answer: No. There is no subject.

Question: How can consciousness be without a subject, without an “I”?

Answer: Spiritual space spreads everywhere, fills and includes everything. There is nothing else besides it. And we are inside of it. The concept of “subject,” however, implies that you must limit it by some qualities.

The quality of bestowal, on the contrary, means that everything is outside and nothing is limited. Only bestowal. Everything that exists besides Him, is created by Him in order for His creation to attain Him.

Question: How does the process of cognition take place in the spiritual? Or is there no such thing?

Answer: For the Creator?! No. There is nothing there but the quality of bestowal. Therefore, consciousness at this level does not exist. Consciousness always comes from the fact that something is missing.

Comment: If we are talking about the field of information, then this seems clearer to us.

My Response: But this is in regard to us! We feel this field relative to us, and we cannot say anything about it in itself—who, what, and how—only how we perceive Him in our sensations, how He is revealed in relation to us.

Comment: In religion, of course, everything is mixed up. However, Kabbalistic sources also kind of personify the Creator.

My Response: We need to define this concept in some kind of words: He feels, He thinks, He is angry, He rejoices. Everything we say is only in relation to a person in order to tie him to the Creator. Just as you can talk about some machine, device, or equipment, and project your feelings on this object.

Question: Does this personification disappear when we rise spiritually?

Answer: Absolutely. There is nothing left but the field of bestowal. It is infinite, has no gradation! And only we perform spiritual actions in it.

The most important thing in our life is to check how I perceive the work, how subjective it is. After all, I build it with my qualities, my feelings, my understanding, many of which I inherited from the past, perhaps distant-distant centuries.

That is why I have to rise above the natural, automatic, instinctive perception of the world and try to analyze the picture of the world consciously, controllably. Can I create it by changes in myself?

And then, very interesting results are obtained. It turns out that the world does not have its own picture, its own kind, but we create it.

The thing is that we have some common impressions about the world we live in. This picture is perceived by everyone practically equally, we have a common agreement on what the world is.

We live in a certain volume, which is drawn by us as if existing beyond us. Actually, it is inside of us, since we depict it in our inner qualities. In such a way, we see these qualities as if from outside, but in fact, it is just pictures passing in us.

According to Kabbalah, this is an ordinary picture of the world. But we have the opportunity to get out of it and begin to explore the world not in our natural organs of sensation, but in the quality opposite to them.

All our feelings are our egoistic desires. That is, I always check how I can benefit as much as possible from this or that particular circumstance, and in this way I judge it. And even if I try to rise above my subjective assessment, I nonetheless cannot completely get out of it, but only add some additional parameters to this.

But methodology exists that allows us to see reality not in our egoistic organs of sensation, but in the opposite ones, by making them altruistic. And then, we attain the opposite world, in which we can reveal completely new patterns, qualities, forces, laws. In principle, Kabbalah engages in them.

Question: Can a person instantly change the picture of perception? Suppose I am here now, and a second later I am in another place, in other states, in other radically opposite sensations?

Answer: Of course he can. It is all his inner feelings. He can be in each of them, he can be in all of them at the same time, he can be in several of them, and so on.

Question: Why is a person so limited? Why does he need to achieve everything and why does everything change very slowly?

Answer: In order for us to master the possibilities of transitioning from one state to another and to be able to manage these transitions ourselves.

Question: Why is the development always very slow and step by step?

Answer: Since it is anti-egoistic, in essence, the opposite of us, therefore, it is given to us with such difficulty.

Question: When a person reaches the highest level of reality, he literally becomes a superman. How would you describe the qualities that he acquires?

Answer: The opposite of his egoism. There is a kind of inversion in relation to our world, as it is said: “And I saw the upper, reverse world.”

The other day, I had an interesting conversation with physicist Dr. Meir Shimon. He said that while it’s been known for a long time that matter consists of particles, such as electrons, protons, and neutrons, until the development of quantum theory, it was not known that forces, too, come and bits, called “quanta” (pl. for quantum). When I asked how can something not be divided into bits, Dr. Shimon replied that physics is an empirical science, and there was no empirical evidence that forces, too, come in quanta.

While science deals with what we perceive, Kabbalah deals first of all with why we perceive what we perceive, how we can change the way we perceive, and then talks about what we perceive if we change our qualities, our senses. At the very root of reality, the wisdom of Kabbalah has found that there are no forces, but rather dispositions, tendencies. Here, too, they are opposite: a tendency to give, and a tendency to receive, simply, egoism and altruism. When these opposites interact, they manifest as intermittent giving and receiving, which is why everything we see seems intermittently present and absent, light or dark, warm or cold, and so forth.

The conversation was very interesting, but it also highlighted the limitations of science. Science, as Dr. Shimon stressed later in the conversation, deals with revealing laws, but never asks about the reason for the existence of the laws.

Precisely here is where the wisdom of Kabbalah fills the void. Kabbalah deals not only with how things happen, but first and foremost with why they happen. For this reason, Kabbalah sees very clearly why energy comes in quanta, and it has to do not with the light, the force, but with our perception of it.

Kabbalah explains that we cannot perceive anything unless it stands out on a background that’s markedly different from it. We cannot perceive something if it’s always there, unchanging. Therefore, to detect the existence of anything, we must also detect its opposite, or at least changes in the presence of the thing detected. Whenever something manifests, it does so on the backdrop of its opposite. This is why everything in our perceived universe is divided into quanta, bits, levels.

The wisdom of Kabbalah opens up to us the forces that set in motion everything that we perceive with our physical senses. Question: Does the phenomenon of collective consciousness exist in the material world?

Answer: The fact is that the whole world has collective consciousness. But Kabbalists ascend from it. It is the Kabbalists who lose the commonality of consciousness with the others who inhabit this world because they want to rise above the collective egoistic consciousness and enter into another kind of consciousness.

The collective form of consciousness is given to all who live in this world because they all feed on the upper mind. This is natural. After all, what is our brain?—only an adapter to the upper consciousness. No more than that. Nothing happens in it. It is a huge system that connects us to what is happening above us.

Question: Why are life and death such sharp states? Before the beginning of life, a person does not feel anything, does not remember anything. After death, he feels nothing, remembers nothing. Life and death for him are probably the best and the worst thing that can happen.

Answer: The life of a person takes place in his egoistic desire. This is why it is so clearly defined from the beginning to the end, from birth to death. The opportunity that we are given is to rise above birth and death.

However, it is not given in order to some how extend life (something we would like to do), but to change the attitude toward it, in particular, to change the force at the basis of this existence—to make it altruistic instead of egoistic. Then we will not be feeling the influence of the egoistic force on us, that is, life itself, but we will be as if above it.

Question: But this clarity, this definition, it is good, is it not? Does it mean that in the other state, a higher one, everything will be clear enough?

Answer: Yes. In the quality of bestowal, contrary to the quality of reception that we now have, everything is also clearly defined, and in much greater intensity in quality and quantity.

Question: A person who lives in this world has his own place. This is his home, planet Earth, a place in space, a place in time. Does the soul have a place in which it exists?

Answer: The soul not only has a place, but it is a place in itself. There is no other place but the soul.

There is a so-called imaginary place called our universe. It is imaginary because it exists in the desire to receive, the egoistic desire. And there is a place called the soul, which is the desire to bestow. This place is really eternal and perfect.

Question: Is this place for humans?

Answer: This place is for us to discover and exist in.

Question: What is the connection between the soul and the “I” of a person?

Answer: The soul is my “I.”

We do not yet feel what the soul is because we do not have the quality of bestowal and love, and therefore, we have to meander along in this way, without a soul.

Question: Are there boundaries in the upper existence? Does infinity have limits?

Answer: Whether the upper existence is infinite or not, it all manifests itself only in our sensations. So we can’t talk about it objectively.

Question: I wonder why a person is so confused. In principle, it should be initially imprinted, that he perceives everything only subjectively. But for some reason, he is given the concept of objectivity, he is confused that he can look at things objectively. What’s the point? In general, where has a person discovered that a concept of “objectivity” exists?

Answer: It is given from above. We can say that each person is given this to a greater or lesser extent, depending, so to speak, on the kind of soul he has, and he should try to realize this opportunity.

Question: Is this essentially a sense of truth?

Answer: Yes.

Question: There are three levels of consciousness: individual, collective, and the consciousness of nature, the Creator, in the form of an information field. How do they interact?

Answer: The consciousness of nature—we call it the Creator—is the absolute level that we hope to gradually attain.

In principle, we are initially ready for it because our egoistic nature is created in us as a mirror image of the higher level of nature. If we constantly annul ourselves, we will eventually reach this highest level.

We do not yet know what it is, but we know the way to it, and we study it in the science of Kabbalah.

Question: Our individual egoistic consciousness usually includes both feelings and reason. Does altruistic consciousness also have the same division?

Answer: Naturally. Moreover, feelings are given more attention, more importance, than the mind because the mind is a consequence of corrected feelings. To the extent that we raise our feelings above ourselves, cancel them from their egoistic perception, we can activate the mind, and it will process our altruistic information.
