Ask For Love for Everyone

236.01Question: Prayer is an appeal to the Creator, which is called raising MAN. MAN is an abbreviation of Mei Nukvin, which means female waters. The Creator’s answer to a prayer is called MAD—Mei Dhurin, male waters. What is MAN and what is MAD?

Answer: Female waters are a request, the raising of some desires to the Creator. And male waters are the answer.

Question: Why water?

Answer: It is known from Kabbalah that water is a quality of Bina, and in the quality of Bina we can turn to the Creator either with one or another inclination.

Female waters mean that inside is a need, a desire, and a lack of fulfillment, and male, on the contrary, means fulfillment and open desires.

It turns out that creation is a female type, and light, a filling, is a male type. But this has nothing to do with corporeal men and women.

That is, a person is determined by the desire. You need to learn this and only then adjust yourself correctly. In general the work that a person does in his heart, in his desire, gradually adjusts him to the right appeal to nature, to the upper force, to receive strength and fulfillment from it.

In Kabbalah, prayer is the most important, most essential human action. Coming to the right prayer is our goal throughout the years of studying Kabbalah and, in general, throughout our lives.

Question: I understand that prayer should be from the heart. But is there a standard, best version of it to which a person should come? What should he ask, at least outwardly?

Answer: Ask for love for everyone, nothing more.

Attune to the Request to the Creator

562.02Question: What are the types of prayers?

Answer: There are a lot of them. There are requests, there are thanks, and there are many different prayers. But, in principle, two types prevail: request and gratitude.

If we turn to the Creator, we must first establish some kind of relationship with Him. Therefore, there are prayers that allow a person to properly tune oneself just like you tune a musical instrument so that it can really reproduce your feelings. This is usually the first part of the prayer.

There are also prayers that speak about the Creator: Who do we turn to, who is He, what is He, why should we perceive Him in this way and not otherwise.

In order to correctly address Him, we must understand His properties, His nature. In addition, we need to tune in to gratitude, to a request, to any, whatever our relationship with ourselves, the world, the Creator. All this is necessary for a person to feel and make the appropriate tuning.

Not to Resist Changes in Oneself

600.02Question: A huge number of people have chosen to resist changes in themselves for centuries. Mostly, this is done by restrictions and isolation as in some types of yoga, self-isolation of countries, etc.

What happens to a person or people who limit or isolate themselves? Is this also a change?

Answer: It is a certain kind of change in worldview. But at the same time, a person must understand what state he is in. If he has fixed several of his coordinates, then accordingly, the whole world will be fixed in him in this way and he will no longer feel himself in a moving, changing world.

Question: Is that good or bad?

Answer: This is a question of relativity. Do I want to live in a world that moves according to some laws of my own or do I want to make changes to these laws? Do I wish, if I can, to stop the movement of the world, to stop myself relative to the world? That is, there are many variants here; however, all of them do not yet rise above the level of philosophy.

Point of the Center of Reality

237Question: Does a person exist in a kind of suspended state because there are no defined points of support for him?

Answer: It depends on which point of support he is looking for. The point of support can only be the center of the universe or at least the center of the galaxy. We need to find a point to lean on, as Archimedes said.

Question: Can we call it the point of the center of reality or the point of truth? I am just trying to find something for a person to lean on.

Answer: This is the point of equilibrium when everything is calm, everything is in order, and everything is balanced.

Can Man Merge with a Machine?

951Question: During the Second World War, pilots said that the aircraft was so responsive that while operating it, it felt like an extension of the pilot’s body.

A communication system is already being created today, artificial intelligence, by which aircraft will be able to secure the pilot, hear him, even replace him, and read from his brain everything the pilot thinks. You can say a lot of technical terms here, but what I am interested in is, without this technology, is it possible to establish communication with the machine? Is it possible to establish connection with the inanimate?

Answer: When a person works with a machine, feels it, and it enters his sensory organs and gives such a reflection of itself in his brain, in his feelings that he begins to be with it on an instinctive level, on such an instinctive connection it is as if it were he himself.

And then, without even realizing his actions, he controls the machine and the machine controls him. There is a mutual connection. But these are special cases.

Comment: I remember you told me that a carpenter, if he is a real professional, feels wood and even hears it.

My Response: Of course. It is natural.

Question: So this state of unity is possible?

Answer: Yes.

Question: You usually say: “To become one heart with another person.” But is it possible to become one heart with a car, with your business?

Answer: Maybe, because it is not with the machine, but with the image of the machine itself.

It is when you absorb the machine into yourself and start working with its image inside you; then you can really fully control it, and it responds to you.

Question: And you do not need any artificial intelligence? Is it your effort that is needed?

Answer: Yes, it is simply a merger. But it depends on which machine, of course.

It is easier with an animal. It is even easier with people. With plants somewhat too, partially. By the way, I even observed that when a person works on a plant, talks to it, the plant feels it.

Question: You are saying that natural materials are closer to working with. And if it is some kind of manufactured, processed piece of iron?

Answer: It is hard.

Every Moment the World Is New

928Question: What does it mean: every moment the world is new? Is it true or not?

Answer: It is because the data constantly changes. If we could see how things are changing, then, of course, it would be more understandable for us.

Question: Why does a person feel or not feel the changes?

Answer: It depends on the coordinates in which he is used to seeing and accepting the world. If for me, the world is something stable and inhibited, then I don’t see any changes in it. There are a few things I see, for example, once there were dinosaurs, but today there are none. In principle, I can say that the world is static, although everything is constantly spinning: the Sun, the Moon, the Earth.

In the same way we can talk about the development of the world. We see that the inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature and man himself are developing. So, everything goes through its own specific dialectic of development.

Our Life—Repeating Past Mistakes

49.03Question: Let’s say a person wakes up in the morning and sees his world has turned upside down. There is nothing left of what was there yesterday. There is a completely different reality to deal with right now. What should one’s attitude be? How can you accept this correctly?

Answer: Close your eyes, go back to bed and sleep. 🙂 This is the healthiest, most correct thing you can do. What else is left to do? You do not know the new world, what is happening, or even if it is reality or a dream. Moreover, what’s next?

Question: In fact, fear and the desire to hide under the blanket are natural. Must we overcome something, see it from another side, or keep going with our eyes closed?

Answer: That’s what we usually do. Why do we constantly get into all sorts of gambles, wars, or problems? Because we close our eyes and do not want to make the right sound conclusions. Therefore, our whole life we keep repeating past mistakes, only at the next level.

Question: Let’s say yesterday I went under the blanket and today I’m tired of lying in bed. I want to make the right conclusion. How do I approach it?

Answer: Sit down and write all your problems for today—what you think about them, how you see them, or anything else. And then write the answers as far as you can make sense of it; write what you can do about it and see what follows.

Comment: For example, I see that I don’t understand anything. There are a lot of problems and I can’t figure anything out.

Not to mention some global problems that I have no effect on at all. The whole sheet is crossed out. Nothing works. Everything has turned upside down. Even yesterday cannot serve as experience.

My Response: So you’re a free man now! You realized what kind of life is before you and that you can’t do anything about it, but only, like yesterday, run on auto-pilot today, too. Now you’ve come to the right conclusion.

Question: So changes in feelings lead a person to freedom?

Answer: What kind of freedom is it? This is freedom from making the right decisions.

The Supreme Plan for Changing the World

202Question: Is there a supreme plan for changing the world?

Answer: Of course. The world and all of nature are striving for ever greater balance.

Question: And where is it recorded? Is there a plan? Is there some kind of information space or something like that?

Answer: Frankly speaking, I have not seen such a plan. But nature strives for balance. This is clear to us from everything that is happening.

Question: So we can’t look at this plan, but we see from our experience that apparently this is so?

Answer: Yes. In general, despite the alleged disorder, chaos, eruptions, and so on, at the same time there is some more even distribution of all parameters: the equation of temperatures, pressures, and everything else.

Question: Is the ability to see some kind of ordering in chaos and the desire for balance useful to a person? Do I need to constantly look for such an approach?

Answer: I think that in principle we can determine this from our observations. After all, for the last couple of thousand years we have been constantly observing the surrounding nature and trying to deduce some laws.

All these laws say that nature tends to a straight-line, even movement, toward rest. That is, we have come to certain conclusions. Moreover, they are based on very long and serious observations over the centuries.

All of Humanity Is Within Me

929In each of us there are desires of all levels of development: inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human.

At the human level, within us, there are desires of all types of people that we see in our world.

But in fact, this is not the world, this is me. Therefore, there are robbers, liars, good people, righteous people, wise men, and fools within me. This is all me.

It only seems to me that this vast world exists, but in fact, it is only a representation of my inner desires and qualities. They are depicted to me in the form of inanimate, vegetative, animate, or human images in my four levels of desire.

Depending on how I see the world, I can understand how I am corrupted or corrected, good or bad. Meaning, which of my desires I should correct.

If I correct my attitude to the world, I correct myself. It is by seeing the world outside of myself, I much better understand what is evil and egoistic within me and how to achieve good and bestowal toward what seems external to me.

Conversely, by correcting myself, I see that the whole world gets better.

There is no world; it just seems to me that all this exists, like on the cinema screen.

Breaking Free of the Confines of Time and Space

222Question: If a certain number of your students were in spiritual attainment, would it alter and strengthen the whole process that both the group and the world are undergoing?

Answer: The world would also be drawn to this and would understand the essence of our problems or at least it would make fewer mistakes. It would want to listen to those who understand the universe in full scope with all its processes from beginning to end as well as in its depth.

Then the world will follow such people who will explain how to act to quickly reach a spiritual state because this is the goal of our development, the purpose of our existence.

When we all begin to unite on such a scale, we become integral and break free of the hold of time, space, or motion. We enter the next degree, the next dimension called “man.” But today, based on our development, we are not there yet.
