In the News (Independent): “French presidential candidates have backed a plan to introduce a universal basic income of €750 (£655) a month, in what they described as a bid to combat the threat of robots taking over three million jobs.

“Two of the seven candidates for the French Socialist Party leadership have proposed the measure, which would see every French citizen over 18 receive the monthly pay-out, regardless of their employment status.”

My Comment: It is impossible to introduce a basic income in one country when it is connected with the rest of the nations of the European Union. What would millions of Italians, Spaniards, Greeks, and all the others say? How would people from neighboring nations relate to their governments if France introduced a basic income for all?

Question: And if the European Union were to break up, would they be able to introduce a law like this?

Answer: In this case, yes. Otherwise the possibility of influencing each other cannot be ruled out. “I don’t want you to introduce a basic income because I am not in a position to do so. So, I will stick a spoke in your wheel.”

Question: And what about a person who would begin to receive a basic income?

Answer: What would happen is natural deterioration. If we don’t oblige a person to do anything, then total deterioration would appear because our nature is egoistic. The ego aspires to a state of tranquility or a direct uniform movement like all of nature. That is all, no superfluous and new movements.

And this would be a state of deterioration for the nation. A nation would not be able to do anything if it doesn’t obligate people to come out of their “lairs” and participate in serious events that develop and move them forward. Therefore, they must introduce integral upbringing and education and various social activities. Moreover, they must be mandatory. If not, then nothing will be left of humanity. It would slide back to the level of the beast by giving people the possibility of sitting in their dens and looking from there into the light with empty eyes.

Question: So is it necessary to introduce a basic income or not?

Answer: It is possible to introduce it only on condition that we employ people. First of all, it is necessary to introduce a system that would be seriously involved with the education of people and would obligate them. Conditions must be set for receiving a basic income: if a person studies and is engaged in a particular framework in which he works on himself to build a new future, a new nation, a new society, then he deserves a basic income. The physical work could be done by robots.

Then everything will start to flourish. As a result of education and upbringing, people’s needs will be reduced to a minimum, because there will be no earnings as such. Gradually, the base income will become mandatory. In principle, only this will remain because in the next ten years all the workplaces will be occupied by robots. People will no longer need to chase new excesses because everyone will have a certain normal income. Perhaps they will receive it not in money, but in the form of goods, food, clothing, free use of electricity, energy resources, and so on. That is, everything will be more or less reduced to non-cash settlement.

In general, this is a movement toward communism. Everyone will have a basic income and people will start working on building a free, egalitarian, and united society. This would be the work of people. Only a small part would be engaged with the development and construction of robots and their programming.

Robots are becoming commonplace today. Even though they look the same externally, they will be programmed differently, some will weld, others will glue, others will assemble, these will fasten, and so on. I have seen entire factories that were built like this. It was very beautiful!

Question: The day of the unity of the Jews is celebrated in Israel and it is called the Day of Good Deeds. How do you relate to it?

Answer: If we overcome ourselves in order to show off only one day a year, as if we are doing good to others, it will not lead to anything good and can even make things worse.

We must understand and realize how egoistic we are and to what degree we have to change ourselves. This is the reason there is a method of correction, of re-educating ourselves. I am ready to offer it and to show everyone the ancient method that that we have had since the days of Abraham.

I truly hope that the Jews will listen to it, that they will unite and will be a role model for the whole world, and thus, the whole world will become peaceful.

My Comment: According to Baal HaSulam, in his book The Last Generation, every individual in society will receive in the future, by agreement, everything that is required for his existence and will work according to the needs of the society. He will not aspire to receive beyond his necessity.

The society will gradually advance toward this situation through educating itself. The introduction of a system of unconditional basic income without the education of society to become like a single body will not bring the desired result and will only produce new flaws and defects.

Question: Is there a way to stop this?

Answer: What can be done when the UN itself is not lifting a finger and neither are Europe or the United States? Nobody is doing anything.

Everyone is watching calmly, adding fuel to the fire and supplying weapons to all sides instead of signing a memorandum that would prohibit the supplying of weapons. The city has become rubble reminiscent of the last days of Pompeii.

Question: In the future will there be empathy between one person and another?

Answer: There won’t be and especially not between the Shiites and the Sunnis. Moreover, these are battles between Arabs and Arabs. Imagine what would happen if this were not about Shiites and Sunnis, but Arabs and Jews? The Arabs, with such weight, would conquer Israel. After that, nothing would remain to be done.

Question: Do you think that the world would remain silent in this case?

Answer: The world would help everyone except the Jews. We saw this during the Second World War. So we need to understand that what is happening in Syria and in the world is also the fault of the Jews. Because we are not bringing the method for the unification of people to the world, they cannot unite.

Answer: If it doesn’t happen, then we will “devour” each other and watch depictions of lawlessness. This is still happening outside of our borders, but this is only up to a certain point.

Comment: According to current research, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks do not actually represent the connection between people and are more like a greenhouse for different undesirable phenomena. They say that they even bring up terrorists.

Answer: The media are the means of mass division and of keeping people apart from each other. There is nothing more divisive and harmful for everyone than the media and especially when they are called channels of communication. What communication? Who are they connecting to whom?

Those who know how to speak nicely and to beg or actually to entice people against each other, thus bring up ratings in the media. They care about nothing other than the ratings!

Question: How do you see the media and connection that aim at a positive beneficial direction in life?

Answer: As long as they are not the way that they are today! In any way whatsoever!

Even those working in scientific media channels that belong to universities and research institutions are professional go-getters and all the more so in the other media whether printed or not. Everything is sold and bought; there is no ideology. Everything is aimed only at harming people.

Question: But still, on the whole isn’t the media created according to people’s demands?

Answer: No. It is the media that create the demands in society and it isn’t society that demands from it. Unfortunately, they educate society this way over several generations in a sequence, so we witness regression and it is already impossible to go on!

Question: Does this mean that you believe that society doesn’t demand something “off color” like rumors, gossip, etc.?

Answer: Society demands whatever you feed it with, and what you get people used to. Everything depends on what is on the Internet, and with such promiscuity, what future awaits our children and our grandchildren?!

I see what they engage in and I feel pity and am sad to see what is happening to them! There is nothing we can do about it. They are in such a society that we cannot expect anything good of them.

Question: You find the media more responsible than the governments that are in charge of the media?

Answer: Yes, because there is a very interesting connection between the media and the government. The government funds the different media channels, each of which receives money from someone and publicize his views. Consequently only a couple of major directions are formed: the right, the left, colorful, etc. and it is all only in order to make a greater profit. Unfortunately today’s journalists are the most corrupt people.

The media need to be totally detached from any other goal except developing society.

Journalists have to be educated so that they will become independent. They have to depend on nature’s law and be independent of the government and business.

In the News (Times of Israel): “Israel’s ambassador to France called on local cities to ban events tied to the pro-Palestinian Israel Apartheid Week, scheduled to begin Monday.

“Aliza Ben-Nun wrote to mayors of nine cities across France asking them to cancel events organized by the pro-Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.

“Ben-Nun said that the events are likely to cause disturbances, incitement to hatred and violence towards Israel and the Jewish community. She also wrote that the boycott is prohibited under French law. …

“Israel Apartheid week events are scheduled for Paris, Rennes, Toulouse, Montpellier, Lyon, Saint Étienne, Lille, Marseille and Grenoble as part of a world-wide initiative in more than 200 cities and universities that critics say seeks to deligitimize the State of Israel.

“According to its French website, the events in France will mark 100 years of colonization by Israel and 100 years of popular struggle for justice by Palestinians, counting from the Balfour Declaration of 1917.”

My Comment: What this means is that they are apparently saying that: “The nation of Israel doesn’t exist, we don’t recognize it, we don’t recognize this nation, let’s make it so that they will not exist once and for all.”

Even though the French have been severely harmed by the actions of Muslim terrorists lately, still their hatred toward the terrorists is less than their hatred toward Jews. They exchange one hatred for another, meaning that they blame the Jews for everything.

Moreover, they intentionally try not to pay attention to the problems with the terrorists, with the Muslims, but only see the Jews: “Why don’t they let the Muslims live as they want?” In the opinion of the French, the Jews must be thrown into the sea, the entire area must be cleansed, and then they will live comfortably and well. This is even though in other Muslim nations we don’t see any example of a good life, but specifically the French think like this.

Question: So, what is to be done with BDS? After all, this movement is becoming stronger.

Answer: It is necessary to see its purpose: It helps us Zionists to become stronger. I believe that negative pressure on the Jews, on Israel, on the people of Israel, on their existence, is useful.

Until we correct ourselves, we require very serious pressure and a push. This is necessary for us. If we are not pressured, we cannot live together with each other because since the days of ancient Babylon we have been representatives of the 70 nations of the world.

Who joined Abraham? It was representatives of all kinds of tribes that lived in ancient Babylon. Therefore, each one of the Jews belongs to a different tribe, a different people, from among those that existed then.

Question: So, what is to be expected in the future?

Answer: The future depends on us! But as long as we haven’t reached the right future, as long as people haven’t heard what the wisdom of Kabbalah says about the necessity of connection and unity above all contradictions, as Abraham did, the BDS organization is necessary.

Therefore, I am in favor of this pressure, and it comes from above, from the Creator, because “there is none else beside Him” (Deuteronomy 4:35). I hope that the pressure will continue until the people of Israel will wake up and understand that it is up to us to unite, and only in a manner like this can we bring ourselves and the whole world to balance, perfection and unity.

In the News (The New Yorker): “Humans think in stories rather than in facts, numbers, or tables, and the simpler the story, the better. The story that has ruled our world in the past few decades is what we might call the Liberal Story. It was a simple and attractive tale, but it is now collapsing, and so far no new story has emerged to fill the vacuum. Instead, we get Donald Trump.

“The Liberal Story says that if we only liberalize and globalize our political and economic systems, we will produce paradise on earth, or at least peace and prosperity for all. According to this story—accepted, in slight variations, by George W. Bush and Barack Obama alike—humankind is inevitably marching toward a global society of free markets and democratic politics.

“The plot line of this story, however, began to lose credibility starting with the 2008 global financial crisis. People who, in the nineteen-nineties and two-thousands, expected that playing by the rules would allow them to rise and flourish suddenly began to fear that they had been duped, and that the system did not work for them. The Arab Spring has turned into an Islamic Winter; authoritarian regimes in Moscow, Ankara, and Jerusalem are abandoning liberal-democratic values in favor of chauvinistic nationalism and religious extremism; and even in the liberal strongholds of Western Europe people are having second thoughts. Now the tidal wave of disillusionment is making its way to the very country that has pushed the Liberal Story to the rest of the planet, sometimes at gunpoint—the United States. As American citizens feel let down by decades of promises and assurances, their disenchantment may sweep Donald Trump into the White House, to the horror and astonishment of the established élites.

“Why are people losing faith in the Liberal Story? One explanation is that this story has indeed been a sham, and that, instead of peace and prosperity, the liberal prescription has produced little more than violence and poverty. …”

My Comment: The victory of Donald Trump suggests that the Creator is making it possible for us to move to development by the way of Achishena (I will hasten it), a reasonable way of development by resembling the laws of nature and not laws that were invented by people or the liberal elite.

The correct use of this development will teach us how to become an integral society with intelligent patterns of consumption, a society that learns how to cooperate mutually, and in this way we will move from “liberal permissiveness” to “conscious unity.” To succeed in this transition, all of us must go through a course of “new education.”

“In the journal Scientific Reports, the results of scientific studies were published [showing] people with many social ties seem to tolerate pain, more so than less ‘socialized’ individuals.”

My Comment: The science of Kabbalah spoke many years ago about the influence of the environment, mutual connection, and unity as the foundation of nature. Now in the 21^st century scientists are finally coming to this. It is difficult for scientists to feel Kabbalah as a science. Only a person with a “point in the heart” is capable of that, someone with a special longing, which depends upon the structure of his soul.

I remember giving a lecture at the University of Miami to 2,000 students, after which I talked with 70 or 80 professors. I explained the main laws of Kabbalah to them. They nodded in agreement and said: “Yes, that is very interesting, so it is here with us too,” and we parted as friends.

I don’t blame them at all, because a person is given a longing for something, like a longing for music. Either he has this desire or he doesn’t.

For example, I have perfect pitch, but I never had a desire to study music seriously for ten hours a day. So the fact that I have perfect pitch doesn’t mean anything.

So it is in Kabbalah. If people have a point in the heart, they will come to study because they feel that there is something interesting here. After that, many of them see the abyss of work that they must do on themselves, and leave.

Question: What does this mean? After all, they have a point in the heart.

Comment: America is experiencing a new wave of anti-Semitism. In one of the schools in Texas, pamphlets with anti-Semitic content were being distributed. Notably, the school principal was silent, didn’t show his attitude toward this, didn’t condemn it. This is what it has come to!

Answer: The school principal sees that everyone either approves or sympathizes with this and feels that all Zionists (Jews) are an undesirable foreign element that stands against society.

Question: As a Jew, I look at a swastika, and do you know what I feel?

Answer: You feel horror because you come from a place where this symbol is associated with extermination, danger, death, hatred, and torture. But for them, apparently, these associations do not yet exist, as we see that they do not run from it. They think that the rest are just mistaken and don’t understand that the Jews are good.

Question: Where are all the Jews who split up into two different camps: Trump supporters, Clinton supporters, et al. with respect to this?

Answer: They are the ones that gave rise to anti-Semitism! As soon as hostilities among the Jewish people arise, anti-Semites appear and begin to put pressure on them. And all in order to unite them! If the Jews only listened and understood that they need to unite…

Even before the WWII Baal HaSulam urged unification! They did not listen to him and walked into the Holocaust. Had they listened, the Holocaust would not have happened.

The same thing is taking place today: If the Jews that side with Sanders and the Jews that side with Trump listen and begin to unite, then anti-Semitism will immediately vanish! It works by a simple principle: The more united the Jews, the less anti-Semitism; the more they fall out of their unity and hate each other, the more anti-Semitism rises. This is how it works in history.

There exists a law: Separation between the Jews elicits anti-Semitism, unification of the Jews removes anti-Semitism. We went through this recently, during the holiday of Purim.

Haman says, “Jews must be destroyed.” Why? Because they are scattered all over the entire country and are not uniting among themselves.

Then Esther and Mordechai started to call the Jews to unite. And as soon as they started to unite, it was possible to hang Haman, end anti-Semitism, and furthermore, rise to the head of society with a clear direction toward general, world-wide unification. This is exactly what is demanded of us today.

Everything depends on us. We are the only ones who have the freedom to choose: either to unite or to war.
