Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 02:25: Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you upon the nations that are under the entire heaven, who will hear reports of you and shake and be in trepidation because of you.

Egoism is afraid of the connection with the Creator, like a snake is afraid of a human, but out of fear it attacks him and by this causes its own death. It can hide but prefers to attack. And in this we can sense the help of the Creator because the fact that the nations of the world hate Israel shows their weakness and a recognition of their impotence. You can destroy and oppress the people of Israel, do whatever you want with them, but it is impossible to kill such a quality of nature as the connection with the Creator.

If the nations of the world would have succeeded in this, they would have immediately disappeared themselves. What would enliven them if the thin tube through which they receive a livening force would disappear?

The only connection between the nations of the world with the livening force called the Creator is the nation of Israel. That’s why it is called “Isra-El – straight to the Creator.”

The nations of the world can’t block their oxygen; it contradicts the program of creation and the structure of the enormous system. Therefore, they perform these spasmodic actions, they oppress, crush, and destroy Jews, then they release them, and again begin to oppress and destroy and then release them again. However, in this generation we need to stop this process.

It is known that after the Second World War all the nations recognized, approved, and encouraged the creation of the State of Israel. But after some time, everybody began to feel that at this stage Israel is a hindrance, it doesn’t bring he necessary good to the world that humanity needs so much, and the world is entering a crisis. Naturally they now look at Israel as the apparent source of this crisis.

All the nations don’t have any way to influence Israel other than demand from it, and in our world this demand is revealed as hatred and a desire to destroy Israel. And even among Jewish people, to the extent that a person is detached from his root, there is the same tendency as well, i.e., to destroy Israel.

We see it in American, European, and Russian Jews. To them, especially to American Jews, it seems that the fact that they don’t have any connection with Israel is their salvation. They don’t identify themselves with the idea that should manifest itself in the world. The natural reaction of self-defense arises in them, “I know nothing, I have nothing to do with it, and leave me alone.”

They don’t understand that nobody will escape it. It is written in the Torah, “I shall find you on the edge of the earth.” This is a universal law from which there is no escape and so we need to look at the world soberly and strive to fulfill our mission.

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 02:26 – 02:28: So I sent messengers from the desert of Kedemoth to Sihon, king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying, “Allow me to pass through your land: I will go along by the highway, I will turn neither to the right nor to the left.” You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give to me water for money, that I may drink; I will only pass through by my feet.”

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 02:30: But Sihon, king of Heshbon, did not wish to let us pass by him, for the Lord your God caused his spirit to be hardened and his heart to be obstinate, in order that He would give him into your hand, as this day.

Israel doesn’t want to get involved in the war, in a clear correction of Malchut with the help of Bina, but the Creator is forcing them to do so.

In fact, we see this in our world too when we want to avoid various problems, collisions, and encumbrances in life, but it doesn’t work, and it won’t work until we begin to follow the instructions of the Torah strictly.

The complete correction of egoism to love and bestowal is required, meaning the maximum movement in connection with each other where all degrees of the ladder of spiritual ascent are revealed gradually until the complete unification of all nations—in other words, all parts of universal egoism into one single unit. Then, the system will be filled with Light.

Question: Despite the fact that the people of Israel said, “I will go along by the highway” and that they would pay, King Sihon wouldn’t agree to let them pass.

Answer: He wouldn’t agree purposely because egoism (the nations of the world) clearly performs its function because it was programmed by the Creator this way, and the people of Israel are the only part of the common egoism in creation that have freedom of choice. In this case they are inclined to use it in order to escape, and here they are taught that they will be punished twice for escaping because they are obliged to conquer egoism and in much worse conditions.

New Life 732 – The Two Tables Of The Testimony

The “Tablets of the Testimony” are the basis for the connection between the created being and the Creator. There are two phases in the development of the created being: the first is instinctive and the second is conscious.

The goal of the conscious phase is for the created being to resemble the Creator. The created being equalizes his form to the Creator’s by a special developing program—the Torah. The essence of this program is written on the “Tablets of the Testimony.” The program operates by the Light, which is the attribute of bestowal that controls all of reality and has developed the desire to receive in 10 levels.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains the Ten Commandments, which have nothing to do with our life in this world. It is about the correction of the ten Sefirot, ten conditions, according to which the desire to receive acquires the Creator’s form of love and bestowal. The expression of love is giving. These ten conditions are also explained by the wisdom of Kabbalah as 125 levels. Beyond that the Tablets of the Testimony became the foundation of human morality, even in communist Russia. Without the Ten Commandments humanity would have remained absolutely barbaric. They have developed the human race.

The real Ten Commandments are revealed in the second phase of the development of the created being, in the conscious part, and are about forms of bestowal that a person has to adopt on the advanced levels of the ego. When a person first begins to correct the desire to receive from egoism to bestowal he doesn’t know what the Ten Commandments are, the ten Sefirot. The word “Sefira” stems from the word “sapphire” as it illuminates when the desire to receive becomes a desire to bestow. Today “thou shalt not steal” doesn’t even exist. There is no other way to correct a person except by drawing the Light that Reforms.

Comment: Many Jewish organizations in the state of New Jersey have joined their efforts in the struggle against discrimination against Muslims. In addition, the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists filed a lawsuit demanding the construction of Mosques be allowed in the city of Basking Ridge. More than 70 members of the House of Representatives in the US Congress, among them representatives of Jewish organizations, believe that it is impossible to ignore the opinions and religious views of people.

My Comment: That is how it always has been in America. Catholics, Jews, Orthodox, and Muslims have studied together and served together in the American military. Moreover, in the American military units there are chapels in which everyone prays together, including Christians, Jews, and Muslims. That is how it has always been. The problem is that the Muslims have begun to take on a different character; their religion has been left somewhere on the side and instead they have begun to impose a Fascist approach with demands, claims, and rigid pressure. Their behavior has gone beyond all limits, and clearly it is difficult to tolerate.

Many Jewish organizations in America agree with the Muslims and think that in this way they are expressing their support for the Muslims. They show the world how good they are, but they will be the first to be exterminated. If we delve into history, we see that initially the most enthusiastic helpers of the Nazis and Fascists were Jews.

Question: What is it about the Jewish people that we prepare our own noose?

Answer: The fact is that we cannot be in the middle. Either we protect ourselves, our faith, our spiritual work, our advancement toward the Creator, or we prepare a noose for ourselves. We are a stiff-necked people, polar; we can advance in one direction only or precisely in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, for the meantime, the balance is swinging in the opposite direction.

Nobody wants to hear what the Kabbalists in the world are saying as they warn about the danger of annihilation of the Jewish people just as Baal HaSulam warned in the 20s of the last century. When he was a judge in Warsaw, Baal HaSulam called the Jews of Poland to emigrate to the land of Israel, claiming that in another twenty years they could expect great danger. But they decided not to listen to him and in this way they condemned themselves with a death sentence.

I certainly am not putting myself in the place of Baal HaSulam. But I am appealing to all Jews. We must protect Jews, Muslims, and Christians who support cooperation, friendship, and good mutual connections, and not those who preach Fascism in all its forms.

New Life 731 – The Giving Of The Torah On Mount Sinai

What is the Torah that Moses received on Mount Sinai, why did its reception depend on the connection of the people of Israel, and how do we return to being a “Light unto the nations”?

Making a covenant is the first condition from the upper force, and the lower will feel that its nature is evil and will want to balance it. The second condition is that a person will seek to know what the goal of life is. Many people ask this, but they have no answer. We have developed an entire culture in order to suppress this question.

The evil inclination, the evil desire, is divided into 613 individual desires. Corresponding to them are the 613 Lights of the Torah. We receive the Torah on condition that we are ready to connect. Then there are two forces in us, negative and positive, in order to reach balance. Only one characteristic in us, “Moses,” can rise above the ego, above “Mount Sinai,” above the evil inclination that is revealed.

The revelation while standing at Mount Sinai is an internal revelation, within a person. It is the discovery of great “Gevurot” (heroism). After receiving the Torah, the people advance toward love of others. They feel that they belong to a single system. Three forces are included in the chosen people: negative, positive, and we in the middle between these two forces build the third force. The chosen people are people who draw upon the good force, the Upper Light, and transmit it to all the nations of the world. With the correction of all the evil, Mount Sinai, the Beit HaMikdash (Temple) is built on the “holy mountain.” Everything comes to correct the connection between us, but human development does not end with this because everyone from Babylon must reach this.

In the past, the connection among the people of Israel was destroyed, so they were dispersed among the nations. In our generation, it is up to us to correct this fracture, meaning ourselves and the world. We are the spiritual descendants of those people who felt divinity and it is up to us to receive the Torah again.

In the News (IsraelHaYom.co.il): “In a few days the Association of American anthropologists, the world’s largest academic body, is expected to decide whether to boycott Israel. 20 Israeli academics sent a letter of support: ‘encourage protests’ ‘if you will’: ‘They cut off the branch on which they sit.’”

My Comment: This is not surprising; some Jews are against anything Jewish because it puts them below their non-Jewish colleagues. Some of them are against their own people because their objection conveys their rejection of their people and they justify themselves in the eyes of the peoples of the world, even though contempt toward them remains in the nations of the world.

Hatred of their people and its history is natural because Jews are not a nation but a worldview that must be accepted by any person in the world by choice, just as in ancient Babylon they gathered around the idea of Abraham.
This worldview is anti-egoistic, meaning it is contrary to the nature of our world, against its egoism. So there is nothing more opposite than the idea of the wisdom of Kabbalah about the unification of everyone and the idea in our world about separation between everyone. Only suffering will compel humanity to understand the necessity to realize the method of Abraham.

New Life 730 – The Children Of Israel At The Gathering At Mt. Sinai

What are the internal forces in a person that are expressed at the gathering at Mt. Sinai? What does the connection of the people before the mountain symbolize and what can we learn from this story about our life today?

The gathering at Mt. Sinai is not a spectacle in the middle of the desert like in a Hollywood movie but the fulfillment of the laws of nature of the eternal Torah. This is a special force hidden in nature, God, the good force that is revealed when a person wants it to be. The good force has created us the opposite from it so that each of us always thinks only about himself.

5,776 years ago one man discovered that there is another force in nature, a positive force that we can draw. Then Abraham came and taught the people of Babylon how to connect so that they could draw the good force. Later the evil force, Pharaoh, grew among his students and reached the phase of slavery in Egypt. Eventually they escaped from the domination of Pharaoh and reached Mt. Sinai, a mountain of hate.

They discovered that they could cope with it only if they revealed the good force. The children of Israel received the Torah at the gathering at Mt. Sinai, which is a whole system that explains how to advance with the positive force. A force called Moses was revealed to them, the common force by which they managed to rise above the hatred and eventually inherit the land of Israel. This whole process of inheriting the land of Israel was described to Abraham during the covenant between the pieces.

Today we have to rediscover this positive force so that we can balance the negative force through it and discover the Creator, because everyday there is the giving of the Torah.

New Life #576 – Shaming on the Internet

Summary

A person who has been shamed on the Internet feels that he is in “hell” because our basic force is the ego and so we aspire to feel pride and fear being shamed. A person who has been shamed, feels that he has been erased, buried, and that he has nothing to live for.

Our self, the human being in us is everything for us, everything. If it is erased, we have nothing to live for. What is more, there is an internal spiritual point in us that doesn’t die, a spark of our soul that develops from one generation to the next.

Some people don’t care about anything, while others are very sensitive to the issue of shame and pride, and others’ negative opinions can lead to great emotional stress.

We are like gears in a single system, dependent on each other. Sometimes embarrassing pictures of people are publicized on the net and it hurts the person’s pride to such an extent that the only resort he feels he has is to commit suicide. It doesn’t help to hide in order to protect oneself from shame. Instead a person should ascend to a higher level.

If a person goes into a chicken coop, for example, and all the chickens yell at him, he is not ashamed because he is higher than them. A person who raises himself morally understands that the others are still behaving like small children. The ascent is in spiritual values, in the values of love of others through which one reaches connection to the upper force.

Sometimes a great person is humiliated from above, as has happened to great Kabbalists throughout history, but they realize where this stems from and why the upper force has such an account with them.

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 03:13 – 02:14: Now get up and cross the brook of Zered. So we crossed the brook of Zered. And the days when we went from Kadesh barnea, until we crossed the brook of Zered, numbered thirty eight years, until all the generation of the men of war expired from the midst of the camp, just as the Lord swore to them.

If we look at the forty-year journey through the desert from a geographic point of view, the entire distance from Egypt to Israel could be walked in a week.

The Torah, however, speaks about a spiritual journey, the preparation for developing the qualities of bestowal. The exodus from Egypt and arrival at the land of Israel is a very serious period of correction, rising from Malchut to Bina. And although this isn’t work with the quality of bestowal yet, because the desert doesn’t produce anything, it is a rise above egoistic qualities.

Question: Is it possible to say that humanity is now undergoing a period of preparation for the next degree?

Answer: For humanity it will happen in a different way, because they don’t have to undergo the same states as the people of Israel. Instead they use a prepared spiritual system, the system of forces that is ready for their correction.

And here we talk about the way this system is born, how the group of people that are called the people of Israel assemble it. Today our Bnei Baruch world group is undergoing exactly this forty-year period and all the others will receive an almost completed system from us.

They will start joining us and, thanks to them, we will bring the world to a new Upper Light. Their task isn’t to correct themselves through special actions but only to annul themselves before us to receive the Upper Light.

The Torah was given to the Jewish people in order to prepare them for their mission regarding the rest of the world.

By Jewish people, we mean those people who are focused on the path of spiritual correction, and all the other so-called Jews that were born Jewish are not considered a people.

Any person, who joins the movement toward the Creator is called Israel, “Isra-El,” “Yashar Kel,” which means “straight to the Creator.”

As once in ancient Babylon people who accepted the spiritual path and agreed to carry out this mission joined the group of Abraham, so it is today. Nothing has changed in the world.

Question: Then why do we say that Jews in the world need to understand their roots?

Answer: Because there are Reshimot in them, recorded information about what they underwent before and it is possible to awaken them toward it again.
