Answer: Regarding “the King’s honor,” this means that I accept Him as controlling me, organizing and managing my entire life, and everything that is within me and around me. Everything that I feel and think, everything that appears in my consciousness, comes from Him, from some source.

Suppose that I lose consciousness and then begin to regain consciousness. All of my emotions that I feel within myself and the world around me are derived from some previous source.

This higher source shapes and forms me and gives me the feeling that I exist within a physical body, within some context, with hands and feet, and that a whole world spins around me. But all this is portrayed in a single point within me, within my consciousness.

This point which describes its existence to itself, has a higher spiritual source called the Creator” He is called the Creator because He created me. And in addition to this, Creator (Boreh) expresses Bo reh (come and see), because I can come to Him and feel Him.

The Creator created within me, some point that feels itself as existing in a unique form, in a human body that is living in this world, in the universe. But this point has the possibility of expanding its perception correctly, such that from this physical picture that it gets from above, from the Creator, it can reach Him, its source.

This means that it must learn how it is built, how processes are taking place within it that seem external and seemingly happening in the surrounding world. From this it can attain the Source. But in the name of this, it must again gather inside it, all that seems external to it.

From everything that happens within my body, I must also locate this unique internal point, that connects from within to the Source, to the cause of its existence, and to the entire perception of this reality. This is a more advanced stage.

The problem is to understand, and mainly to feel, that the Creator determines all of my reality, my perception and also that of the world.

Imagine yourself as some kind of toy puppet, a little bear with a spring under tension that is managed by some kind of program that makes it move. But it has a special point within it so that it feels that it exists like this. And this point is the source of the soul, for everything else belongs to the Creator, the higher source that activates me.

But this point is the Adam in me, the beginning of the future Adam. All the rest belongs to the Creator and is managed from above. So from this point, it is important that I begin to understand my life and who it is that manages it. This is called, “from your deeds we are aware of You.”

I look at the deeds that He carries out with my point, at how He forms my “self” and this whole world, and from this I become aware of Him.

In this way, I ultimately attain the Creator.

The most important thing about our desires is to differentiate the pure from the impure, from the egoistic. There are egoistic desires that are possible to correct now, and there are those that are corrected at a later time, in the next stage, which are the higher ones, or those that aren’t in use and so are corrected at the end.

The uncorrected desires are spoken about in the Torah as those, as it seems, that go through a person’s skin and are seen on his face.

This is how a cell works in the material world. Genetics has discovered that our body is a huge mechanism, which includes trillions of trillions of cells and each of them are constantly correcting themselves, and what they cannot correct, they push outside.

We are not interested in what the cell throws out, but in the process of correcting desires, because it is the most important thing. The body, in any case, will die. But if you correct some of your desires, then you remain to exist in them. This means that you already have some hold on a minimum existence in the spiritual world. Afterward it is possible to continue working. The main thing is to establish yourself there.

Comment: This means that the desire doesn’t disappear, but remains for the future.

Answer: In nature there isn’t really anything that has no use. If something is not useful for us at the moment, it is only because we are not able to correct it.

Question: Even what humanity produces, is that also necessary?

Answer: Yes. But the corporeal world is automatically connected to the correction. In accordance to our thoughts and desires, all of nature is corrected, including the inanimate level of nature.

Comment: The weekly passage “The Leper” specifically speaks about this, that not only a person and his body, but also his house can be infected with leprosy.

Answer: Under the concept of “house,” man’s desires are also included. The Torah doesn’t speak about anything except man. All desires are divided into five stages: body, clothing, house, yard, and the rest of the world. But we mainly speak about the first four stages, since the main thing is to correct these four parts.

The song “For You Have Saved My Soul” (Ki Hilatsta Nafshi) is a song of gratitude of a person as he has ascended to the level on which he was created, above our world, and who has finally found the answer to the meaning of life.

Our soul is formed on the upper levels of knowledge, just like the body of an embryo inside its mother’s womb. The soul is gradually formed and begins to descend and to become coarser, dressed in attires that are increasingly closer to matter until it enters the corporeal body.

Spiritual attainment is ascending to the same levels where the formation of your soul began. You begin to attain its root there, the basis, and discover why you have a certain fate, what has been prepared for you not only in this life but in a whole series of lives, until you fulfill your spiritual potential to the fullest and bring your soul to the state that was predetermined.

Attaining the root of the soul provides a person with an answer to the question of how he should live. This is very important, especially today, when we are totally lost, and don’t know what to do with our lives.

This is a song of gratitude to the Creator for having raised you to the root of your soul and for allowing you to attain your soul.

This song is about getting closer to the upper force, to the root of the soul, to the upper attainment, when a person begins a dialog with the Creator and hears the Creator calling him: “Come close to me.”

Question: Should I try to distinguish in the events and people around me things like the right and left lines?

Answer: No, this only applies to inner work. Only when a person attains the forces of his soul and begins to work with them, does he begin to distinguish which of them apply to the right line, and which ones to the left, as it is written: “The left rejects, and the right adducts.” Those things that reject me from spirituality refer to the left line, and those things that attract me refer to the right line. I need to base my advancement on the two forces, otherwise what am I to rise above?

The left line is represented as Mount Sinai (hatred), and it determines the height of the steps on the ladder of spiritual ascent. My egoistic desire, the left foot, which rejects all the other people, gradually becomes revealed, step-by-step on this ladder, to the extent of my readiness to correct it with the force of the right line, the right foot, the property of bestowal. Thus I ascend the steps of (Jacob’s) ladder.

It is when I can classify my inner forces—whether they are for or against the connection between them—but I cannot classify the surrounding people or events.

You can say that according to the perception of reality, the entire world is within you because man is a small world; everything he sees outside of him is inside him. So why can he not regard his inner and outer parts the same way? Once you begin to perceive inside you the things that are outside of you, then you will add them either to the right or the left side!

But until then you can only work in relation to your friends, adding them to yourself as parts of your soul. If we want to be as one man with one heart, then our desire includes everyone, and it does not differentiate between you, me, and others, just like when one, two, or three drops of water merge to form one big drop.

When we have a common desire like that, we will be able to regard its inner structure the same way we regard the three lines.

We must build a system of active connection between all people in the world. However, this is not the Internet, virtual or physical system, rather it’s an internal system. We must yearn to create a feeling between us like a mother regarding her infant whom she can feel, even across great distances.

They say that with animals, this instinct is even stronger. This is demonstrated in the movie about the little dinosaur that was taken far from its parents by humans. The adult dinosaurs went wild looking for the baby, crossed an ocean, and found him through instinct.

Specifically, a connection like this has to be among us. At a distance of thousands of kilometers from each other, despite the distance, we have to feel ourselves as existing in a single spiritual force field. All kinds of changes in each must necessarily be felt by all the rest. We must try to attain contact like this and feel inner changes at every moment, which then becomes our inner life.

Question: Suppose that I understand that in order to add the feeling of the importance of unity in a group, it is necessary to make additional efforts, but I don’t have the strength for this. Where can I find it?

Answer: It’s only with the friends! It is possible to receive strength only if you bow your head before your friends, see them as more important, stronger, and more understanding, as connected more strongly with each other than you with them. Then you can receive something from them.

The group has to help a person so that he will feel its sympathetic and good attitude toward him, the love.

It only seems to us that it is impossible to get strength from the group. So from their side, there has to be methodical work directed toward this, only it shouldn’t become routine for routine eats all emotions. In the spiritual world, there is no habit. It disappears because there, only changes are considered, only consequences and not speed. Therefore, one has to be in constant movement.

Question: But can a person take the first step? He understands that now the group is in such a state that he can exert effort. However, he has no strength to do something to elevate the group, to integrate himself into it, and rise. The understanding is there, but not the strength.

Answer: There is no energy. This means that there is no true need. Some kind of detachment, apathy, is holding us: I could help, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

How should one act in a case like this? I would conduct a workshop, sit everyone in a circle, give a subject, and gradually try to introduce special questions that bring people back to their senses a little bit, awaken them.

Question: When differences of opinion appear in a group, this extends over everyone all at once. To resolve the problem of confrontation, representatives of both sides gather into a small group and reach agreement and unification. How is it possible to extend this unity to everyone?

Answer: I think that it is necessary to organize a shared circle in which everyone sits together, and the initiator group appears as the force of peace that tries to unite them all.

Even with different people, among large family clans, it is customary to gather together with former foes who understand that it is necessary to unite. They reconcile, reach agreement, and after that, invite everyone to a large circle, where they discuss all of this and prove the necessity to rise above all the previous differences in opinion. This is the right position.

We said that the Creator wants to establish connection with us. He places between us and Him this whole world and portrays in our emotions and thoughts all kinds of symbols and images so that we begin to understand His language. We shouldn’t forget this!

The group has to perceive everything that is outside the framework of the common connection, the shared love, the common agreement, the unity, all that from the side of the Light could be called spirituality, we can relate to all of that, to all lack of focus that He gives us, as to the signs of the Creator given to us so that we will come again to the single whole in which we dissolve completely: emotionally, mentally, and intellectually, complementing each other all the time.

In this manner, ultimately, we will find a common language with Him, and impressions and understandings will constantly accumulate in us.

Imagine how a child perceives the world that is totally unfamiliar to him: without knowing anything, without understanding, without having any feelings and emotions! He grasps it, grasps it, and gradually the world accumulates within him: ground, mixed, and constantly renewed all the time, and the child begins to understand it. This means that his mind formats itself in the right way.

The heart and the mind begin to understand how to work with the reality in which he finds himself. After all, he can find himself in a reality that was two or three thousand years ago, or the reality of today, or it can be the reality that will exist in another one or two hundred years.

So, the child only has to yearn to perceive the real world in a form like this: with an open mouth! We also need to do the same thing in regard to the spiritual world, according to the laws that the Kabbalists described for us. In other words, we discover ourselves in it, and that’s it!

I have to be in unity and mutual love all the time. This means that I discover my spiritual senses. However, if my senses are not like these, this means that they are not spiritual. I don’t perceive this world. I have to change myself so that I relate creatively to all the problems that arise.

This is because the world is what exists between Him and me. If I correct all of my attributes, this world will disappear from my senses. It will not exist. It will dissolve, and only the Creator and I will be left in adhesion between us. So, our world is used as a means for our mutual understanding. With its help, we come to adhesion, to unity.

Question: How can we measure and make sure that we are uniting correctly?

Answer: The truth is that spirituality is concealed from us and is only revealed in the right connection between us, in mutual guarantee, when we become as one man in one heart, according to the principles that describe unity, such as “love thy friend as thyself,” “don’t do unto others what is hateful to you,” ” all of Israel are friends,” and so on.

So how can we check if we act properly? We have to make efforts according to what Kabbalists tell us. By that we summon the Light that Reforms.

Yes, I don’t know what the right correction is. I have no idea what it means to unite but I yearn for that like a child who doesn’t know but who tries and makes an effort. Even if he does everything wrong, such efforts also draw the Light that Reforms, the force of nature that also influences us. This is how children learn, when they know nothing and have no initial understanding.

If we act the same way, if we follow the advice of Kabbalists, even if we don’t understand it but hope to advance, the Light that Reforms operates and guides us to the right unity. When we attain it, we discover that it is actually the real unity.

There is no other way. This is the spiritual path from absolute uncertainty until the gradual acquisition of knowledge. It is impossible to know in advance what you are about to reach. This is only possible in our egoistic world, the only picture that the ego reveals to a person.

The current situation in Israel, the current war and the entire global circle of anti-Semitism are ultimately designed to ensure that we are united. If it does not encourage us to unite, then we will wait for more serious misfortunes.

It is necessary to invest efforts, again and again. And most importantly is to be worried so much that the heart skips a beat. Because this situation is for us and we cannot escape from it. So let’s show a serious, mature attitude to what is happening. We now have an opportunity not to be missed.

After all, we are the point of connection between the upper Light and all of reality. I personally feel sick since the beginning of the military operations; I just “cringe” inside. It is the time for all of us to feel, to whom and to what the current events are addressed. Indeed, our relationships with the Creator run through the whole picture of this world. And concealment is in front of us so that we are able to remove it and must work to overcome it.

Today, we are the point of connection with the Source and the stumbling block, an obstacle to the Lights that have to be provided to the entire humanity. We have to awaken the nation, and the only means of this is to bring the Light to it.

So, what are we disseminating? Reading materials or the Light? Do we unite in advance before any activities? Do we unite in one whole? Do we come from a feeling in the heart, where there is unity of friends in it, the Creator?

If not, then we give just papers and not the message which is the most important.
