Autistic children are like litmus paper for testing society and parents. But we are not ready to accept these children because we don’t have the flexibility of social consciousness. Basically we don’t have it.

In the current overall direction of schools, the teacher is directed towards working with ordinary children, and all the rest don’t interest him,; he or she doesn’t need autistic children in class.

Certainly among the teachers there are individuals who relate warmly towards children like these, but unfortunately there are very few.

But these children, as a rule, are very connected, very faithful to others, very connected to those who are near them; they are not two-faced, in their behavior there are no malicious intentions or thoughts. So they stimulate an honest attitude in those around them.

Question: Today, one in a hundred children suffers from autism. What is this autistic world from the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah? How is it possible to peer into it? How is it possible to understand these people?

Answer: The human soul is a diverse and multileveled phenomenon.

Probably there is a classification of children as autistic according to some external and internal signs, according to tests and so forth. However, in my perception of humanity and reality in general, I would not consider these people as separate from others, for after all, we all are autistic to some degree.

In some way, we are normal, in some way geniuses, and in some way completely stupid, peasants, workers, freemen, masters and servants. This is to say, in every person, everything is found in different combinations.

Everything depends on the integration of the autistic people in the surrounding environment because the environment is the main thing that differentiates us most from other people. So, I think that we simply have not yet found the right method with whose help it would be possible to connect autistic people with regular people.

Autism is a social problem of the relationship with the environment. If the right environment is created around the child—a group or friends to organize successful interactions with older children who know how to behave—then I am sure that it is possible to bring the child out of any state because the influence of the environment, especially on the autistic person, provides an immense effect.

I don’t know what medications specialists use, but in my perception and understanding, the right purposeful influence, not only on a child but on any person, is able to move him into any state. It can make any normal person autistic, and vice versa.

Question:  In schools that integrate autistic children, there are often conflicts between parents of the autistic children and parents of ordinary children who don’t want their kids to study in the same classroom with the autistic children. How can we explain to parents that they should accept this correctly?

Answer: The point is that it isn’t the parents’ problem but the problem of the whole education system that actually lacks the element of education. Unfortunately we don’t educate people but engage in teaching a small human machine to later grow up to be a robot, a screw in some bigger system.

When schools teach a child it doesn’t mean that they educate him to be a human being: a person who can connect to others and mutually cooperate with them, to build himself, a family, a society, a world. Schools have no ability, powers, or trained staff to do so.

This is the reason that we cannot expect parents to see things open-mindedly and to understand that the presence of an autistic child in the classroom allows the other kids to see the world and society differently, and to learn to mutually cooperate with others.

They don’t understand that all the kids in the classroom benefit from having such a child among them, since he needs the mutual cooperation of others and they have to help him. From a social perspective it is the trump card in a group of students.

But modern schools are built according to totally different principles, and therefore, anything that might be considered an interruption in the “creative” process that pushes a small creature to acquire maximum information is undesirable. Nothing is required of him but to be a good egoist, compete against everyone else and the hell with others; you have to be first.

Who can we turn to here? To the parents? The parents were brought up in exactly the same way as their children are; they live in the same world, so what is needed here is a serious profound change of the system.

Question: Why has the number of autistic children, living in their closed world, increased by 50 times in the past 30 years?

Answer: I think that this trend will be maintained and grow.

Autistic people are those who already are required to have the perception of the next reality. They can feel a few realities simultaneously, a few levels of humanity.

We are now in a qualitatively new stage of human development. We see that we have lost connection with this world. We cannot be found within it. It frightens us. It is shaken up all the time, and we have lost our previously precise forms of mutual cooperation with it. I consider autistic people to have more of an inclination to perceive the next picture of the world than others.

They are more developed. If we were to take a modern person and compare him with uncivilized people who lived several thousand years ago, he would seem strange also, washing his hands, brushing his teeth, saying hello and goodbye to everyone and so forth.

So, the appearance of such a number of autistic children is a clear sign of a transitional period. We must simply understand from where all this is derived.

It is connected to the general ecological system, but there is no need to search for a cause since the entire system of the world—all of its levels, still, vegetative, animate and human—are moving in parallel, and the fact that the number of autistic children has grown in the past 30 years by 50 times shows that we are going with giant steps toward the next stage of humanity.

I think that we simply need to accept this view, at least as an addition, and from there begin to discern these changes as practical, as imperative for humanity.

In other words, it is necessary to consider autism not as a disease that must be healed and not suppress autistic people with the help of drugs and make them into supposedly normal people. On the contrary, we must study them, use their characteristics to understand that in them the coming state of humanity is revealed somewhat.

A person subconsciously thinks about death constantly. Everything that he builds and creates is intended to somehow nullify death.

He aspires to invent something, to build, to discover, to overcome, to do, and to hold onto his eternity. This is the fundamental motif that penetrates all of our existence.

If we were eternal or we had no sensation of the end, we would die and would not know that we died. Then we would live completely differently.

We would live full of inspiration, wholeheartedly, and we wouldn’t feel compelled to think about the end. Our subconscious feeling of the inevitability of death is very important to us.

Question: Is this good or bad?

Answer: It depends on how the person uses this reality. Without it, we would be beasts that are integrated completely in every moment of our existence because if there were no end, then the remaining sensation is, “If I exist only here, I must get everything out of this moment.”

But when we feel that the end is concealed somewhere, we try to abolish it. We distract ourselves, plunge headfirst into science, into creative search, into the creation of some works, etc., and all of this is to prove that we have overcome death. In principle, this is what drives us forward.

This is derived from the depths of consciousness and is realized not only on the level of the beast, but also on other levels, up to the highest spiritual levels in which everything is resolved in another form. There, a person begins to discover life within the soul, and therefore becomes independent of the life of the body.

If in addition to my physiological body I discover my spiritual body, called the “soul,” and begin to feel myself as existing within it, then simultaneously I feel how much my beastly body is temporary and finite and is obliged to ultimately die, again becoming inert matter.

Question: Over the last couple of years the tendency to return to nature has become very popular, including consuming fewer modern, artificial things. This pertains to medicine as well, where naturopathy and homeopathy are gaining popularity over traditional treatment with chemical drugs.

People prefer natural products without chemical fertilizers, natural birth without using pain medication. Why is it that more and more people feel a need to go back to nature?

Answer: In the past, people received food and medicinal resources from the environment, using various plants, animals, and natural gifts from the forest. And today too there are people who know how to use these things. People were closer to nature, which was not as polluted as today.

Before we invented the combustion engine, which works with diesel or gas, we did not poison the environment. Our food was free of chemicals because they were natural. People ate chicken and fish raised in natural conditions. But in recent years the situation has changed drastically.

In the past, doctors used natural medicines. Once while traveling through Canada, I visited an old village, maintained as a museum-reservation. And there was a point of interest: a village doctor’s home. And around it agricultural lands, where he grew medicinal plants, which he dried in the house.

It was evident that it was a real production. Usually a doctor was a very wealthy person because he was needed by everyone. And the doctor truly knew how to cure. Otherwise no one would call on him. Each village had its own infirmary run by those who had the knowledge and the profession was passed from one generation to the next. All medicines were taken from nature.

We see that animals cure themselves with plants. As a dog owner takes his dog outside, the dog immediately begins to search for plants to consume. It feels what plant is necessary for its body. Similarly, our bodies are also animals, and it is a true pity that we have become so distant from natural medicinal methods.

However, a modern person does not know how to treat himself with plants. And it’s impossible to imagine all the inhabitants of a city with a population of many millions would travel to a forest in search of medicinal plants for their treatment.

Certainly the technological process cannot be reversed. However, after all our hopes for the associated prosperity and happy future, we suddenly begin to doubt that this development has been to our benefit. We see many negative consequences, although we try to ignore them or think they are inevitable.

Our entire development (in technology, medicine, family life, education, etc.) has passed a certain peak, and although we assumed that we would only rise higher and higher, we began to decline. We do not maintain balance by moving in the middle line, but instead we lean to one side and lost our balance.

Perhaps we need to rethink our attitude and choose the middle line so that we don’t throw away the natural methods of treatment and completely switch to chemicals.

Answer: Our brain receives commands and then actuates our body. But this doesn’t mean that the brain has independence.

It is totally dependent and connected to the whole system, like a micro-computer that is occupied only with leading us into action but it is connected to a much bigger computer with an enormous brain and memory.

Question: If we are totally managed from above like machines, what does it mean to be independent? What does it mean to be free? What is freewill?

Answer: To the extent that we begin to understand the upper system, attain and feel it, we begin to acquire freewill and the freedom to act. But in order to do so, we have to ascend to a level that is higher than our current one because now we are totally controlled.

Question: Nowadays, everybody tries to look younger. This issue became so popular that a new industry that slows down the process of aging was launched: medicine, cosmetics, health and beauty centers. Why do we have this burning desire to stay young forever?

Answer: The thing is that we are confused and live a dual life. We live in our soul that is not developed yet and consists of a tiny “point.” We also live in our animal bodies and are not yet human.

“A man” is not about our body (a form of protein matter); rather, it is a desire similar to the upper force, nature. A man (Adam) means “similar (Domeh) to the Creator, i.e., the one who possesses an altruistic property of love and bestowal directed to one’s neighbor.

This type of man exits from his egoism and lives in a desire that he builds in his “neighbors.”

It makes “a man” similar to the upper force of nature that secretly exists in this world and is called “the Creator.” The Creator is a power of absolute bestowal and love without any intention for Its own sake, as the sun that constantly emanates warmth, light, love, and benevolence on everyone without exceptions.

We float in the benevolent illumination of the upper force as in tender rays of the sun. But our structure is opposite to the upper force’s. Our egoistic structure is oriented towards the will to receive. This is why we always try to get as much as possible; this fact makes us dissimilar with the upper force.

We constantly consume. That’s why our life is limited. It is so because first of all we depend on Him, He fulfills us and gives us vital energy. We stay alive for as long as we consume His vital energy and take advantage of it. With time, the energy weakens, we age and then die.

In order to live eternally, we have to become similar to the power of bestowal and love and get outside ourselves. If we manage to do so, we’ll be able to receive unlimited vital energy. It will happen because we won’t consume it for our own sake but because we will strive to repay the Creator all His benevolence that He extends to us. He gives it to us, we give it back to Him.

This form of existence allows us to live endlessly. Not only will we prolong our lives for hundreds and even millions of years, but we will be able to completely get rid of the boundaries of time. When we become similar to the upper force of nature that constantly pours love on us and acquire its properties of bestowal and love, we will become as eternal as the force itself.

In the News (svit24.net): “A group of British researchers have conducted a longitudinal study the behavior of the body and a man in love. The findings of science have been disappointing. It turns out that love – a disease that causes serious damage to human health.

“Professor Martin Cowie says that when a person is in love, he experiences a storm of emotions. This is detrimental to his health and eventually ends in a whole bunch of diseases. This starts from the fact that the body is under the influence of a person in love and the emotions produce quite pronounced physical manifestations. During this period, scientists say, a great amount of adrenaline is produced, which in turn negatively affects the human body.

“It is known that a large number of diseases are caused by stress. Professor Cowie says that these diseases are the result of processes that are similar to changes in the body of a man in love. Most interesting is that when people are in love they do not adequately recognize that their health has deteriorated. The euphoria of the state of happiness overrides common sense. As a result, signs of the disease can even be similar to symptoms of the flu.

Comment: In fact, it is possible to say completely opposite things about love. In this world, love is the strongest egotistic shock, the highest selfish desire that “seizes” a person and tightly holds him until he gets “light-headed” or loses his mind.

Love expands our selfish desires and at the same time restricts itself only to them. But if it is real, altruistic love not for “our own sake,” but the kind of love that is directed to others without taking account of ourselves, then it does not limit a person, but instead opens new dimensions that are “outside” us, and these people attain the external world.

Question: Why are so many people concerned lately about their appearance that they are willing to spend so much money to look younger and more beautiful?

Answer: In the old days, people did not give much importance to appearance. However, in today’s world, it has become very important because we are developing in our egoism and it increasingly binds us to the physical, material life.

Our ego wants to become similar in this material life to the spiritual world. Egoism is developing so much that it promises to provide us with the best life, to extend it endlessly to give us enjoyment and to look attractive, young, and strong in the eyes of others.

The general process of evolution, according to the program inherent in us, leads us so that we rise to the new degree of development, the spiritual one, and begin to live in the form of forces, spiritual qualities, not physical bodies, experiencing life only through the body.

To move to a higher level of existence, we first must make sure that we do not expect anything good from our bodily life. It can be neither eternal nor happy, and all its acquisitions are worthless.

Therefore, we must go through all kinds of states—the pursuit of wealth, honor, power, knowledge, and external beauty—to disclose the complete insignificance of these desires, that they bring no fulfillment. It is impossible to reach full and eternal contentment with life through them.

This is a time when we seemingly chase eternal life. In other words, we are trying to keep eternal youth. But as a result of this race and much wasted effort, we are to understand that this goal has no real value.

It is impossible to achieve either eternal life or true inner fulfillment in this way. The desire to look young and beautiful is given to us so that having been disappointed in it we would choose a higher goal.

This higher goal is really eternal. By reaching it we begin to live not in our physical bodies but in desires, aspirations, and intentions.

The desire to preserve eternal youth is just a certain stage of our development. After that, there will be the fashion to freeze one’s bodies, hoping to revive them in the future when more advanced technologies will emerge. But even in this approach we are destined to become disillusioned and realize that this is not the solution.

All of these efforts are intended to lead us to the fact that there is no choice; we must rise to the next level of existence, that is, to make the transition from life in the body to life within the soul. All our life is pushing us toward this goal.

All our life values—food, sex, family, money, honor, knowledge ,and all the fulfillments of this world—are designed to disappoint us and aim us to the only direction, which is to lead us from existence in the physical body to life in the soul.
