My article in Newsmax: “A Way to Reverse Dismal Prediction of Cyclical Pandemics”

Sally Davies, former chief medical officer for England, wrote on The Guardian that “COVID-19 is neither the first nor the last health emergency we will face. My fellow scientists estimate that we will face a pandemic or health emergency at least once every five years from here on. There is a chance that this is the optimistic scenario. The reality could be far worse.”

I think the prediction is both good news and bad news. It is good news because scientists are beginning to realize that the pandemic isn’t a one-time event, but part of a permanent process of change. At the same time, it is bad news because scientists have no clue as to what to do about it. They offer dubious solutions to mitigate the destruction these crises will inflict on humanity, but they have no idea how to prevent them, how to reverse the dismal trajectory, and they don’t even think in that direction.

Are we then doomed to suffer from here on? No, we’re not. By strengthening our solidarity, we can reverse the trajectory and prevent such crises from happening altogether.

In 2015, Julianne Holt-Lunstad, renowned neuroscientist and psychologist at Brigham Young University, published an extensive analysis that looked into the influence of social isolation, loneliness and living alone on people’s health. The results were notable in light of today’s pandemic. She found that social isolation “led to an increased rate of mortality of twenty-nine per cent, and living alone by thirty-two per cent — no matter the subject’s age, gender, location or culture.” (The New Yorker published on March 23.)

In a recent interview for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Holt-Lunstad said that being socially active “not only prolongs our life expectancy, but also influences our health in other ways, such as resistance to viruses” (translated from Hebrew).

In the interview, Holt-Lunstad also referred to a Carnegie Mellon University study that found that people with many solid social ties have a better immune system and better resistance to viruses of the common cold, while people with few social ties were significantly more vulnerable. The researcher stressed that while we should not disobey authorities’ instructions regarding social distancing and wearing masks, we should make a conscious effort to maintain social ties under these limitations.

These conclusions coincide with what I have been saying since the beginning of the outbreak, but there are more conclusions to be drawn from these findings. I think we shouldn’t take a passive approach here but rather be much more proactive. Viruses have been around long before the COVID-19 outbreak. We could have been infected long ago but we weren’t because our immune system was stronger.

Especially over the last several decades, we have been growing increasingly isolated, and therefore weaker. This isolation is part of what researchers Jean Marie Twenge and William Keith Campbell call “a narcissism epidemic.” In their aptly titled book The Narcissism Epidemic: Living in the Age of Entitlement, they establish that over the past few decades, we have seen an exponential growth in narcissistic tendencies among young people and the general population.

In simple words, we are growing far more egoistic than before, far more quickly than before, and therefore far more lonely. By doing so, we are weakening our immune system and exposing ourselves to health threats that didn’t use to pose any risk before. This is why I keep saying that we will not find a vaccine or a cure for the coronavirus since even if we find something for this plague, another, even worse menace will quickly replace it. Now, finally, medicine corroborates.

If we want to protect ourselves from viruses and other forms of natural crises, we have to work on our social cohesion, on our relations with each other, on our solidarity as a society, and in our communities. This is not a theoretical assumption; it is a practical measure we must take in order to protect ourselves and our loved ones from getting sick and dying or remaining maimed.

How we relate to one another, how we build our social networks, what we project to others, and what values we install in society all have a real impact on our health. Well-connected people are not only much happier; they are also much healthier.

Next time we want to trash someone on social media or even to our friends, we should think twice before doing so; it will backfire on us. And after we stop trashing, let’s start building a positive society, one that values caring and helping out. Let’s not be selfish; it simply doesn’t pay.

We have made another day’s progress, but the question is, have we really made progress? The world is advancing according to the program of creation and reveals more and more breakage in itself.

What do we do in the same measure for correction? How far do we move forward and want to connect the world or at least try to explain the tendency of its development, where is it going, and what for? Do we match this pace of development? I do not see any other groups in the world that could do this.

Humanity must learn about the program of creation, its purpose, the upper force that governs us, and what form it leads us to. But so far, we see that another day has passed and humanity is only sinking lower and lower, and so it continues. We do not yet feel that we can keep up with this current and be the Shofar (horn) notifying everyone of what is happening.

In our time, the most important thing is an explanation so that everyone knows what happened to us, who is doing it, for what purpose, in what direction we are going, and how we should act. The upper force works on us, helps us to change and move with it, and use all the forces of our development.

I hope that each of us will feel responsible for the world. This is why Israel is called the chosen people, to set an example and explain to all mankind what needs to be done. The world has reached the last stage of correction, which is the revelation of evil, and we need to help it reveal this evil as quickly as possible. How quickly we move to the next stage and begin to come to goodness depends on this.

The revelation of evil occurs in our egoism, which divides us and makes us feel more distant day by day. We all suffer, and yet we do not want any rapprochement either between countries, people, neighbors, and even within the family. There is no such person who is connected to others and feels as a part of all of humanity as a single system.

This is the revelation of evil that we must first go through in order to understand the essence of our nature. Without this, we cannot change for the better and connect to become a single system, one person, Adam.

Depending on how quickly we understand and feel this, transmitting this feeling and understanding to humanity, the coronavirus epidemic will turn into a positive force that unites people. Instead of that, it is separating us by driving each of us in a different corner and locking us up.

If our thoughts will be correct, then we can get closer to each other and the virus will not be able to hurt us. It is now, when egoism is revealed in the form of a coronavirus that it helps us to distance ourselves from each other.

But if we will be armed with restriction, screen, and reflected light, in order not to think about ourselves but only of our connection, if we do not worry about our own welfare but the connection between us all, we can rise above the forces of separation and begin to properly connect as one man with one heart.

All this depends on how much we see a negative tendency and understand that it is for our benefit because it helps us to change in a good way. The evil inclination is called evil because of our egoistic intention. But if we turn this intention into bestowal, then all the power of evil will turn into good. It all depends on us.

We need to quickly understand this and implement it between us to serve as an example to the whole world. All paths are open to us. Every day more and more opportunities open up which we just need to implement between us and then all over the world. Our personal advancement and correction depend on it. After all, everyone can achieve their own personal goal only if they have realized the common goal. This is the uniqueness of the last generation.

The world is changing with great speed and is beginning to realize that it has reached despair, which was not the case six months ago. Do we feel that we are moving fast enough and understand more to embody the right form of humanity between us and show it to the world? Our group is a mini humanity.

The connection between us must become so correct and strong that we are not afraid of any epidemic nor virus. Nothing can harm us, not people, viruses, or natural disasters if we connect with each other correctly with the right intention and build good relations. An example of such a connection will be the best and most effective dissemination in relation to the whole of humanity.

Gradually we must understand that if we unite, it will be good for us, and if we separate, we will suffer. Everyone must be united into one system, one person. This means that we are rising from our current level, where we live in separation, to the level of one person as one soul, that is, one desire, where all our desires are united above our egoism.

Considering the speed with which the world is now moving day by day in the revelation of evil, we can envision all of humanity in the spiritual space within a year or two. This material world will disappear from our senses because it exists only in our egoistic perception.

While we are in egoism, we only experience this material world, and if we move toward bestowal, we will experience another higher reality. We must enter it.

Nature is simple. If we connect and treat each other well, we will be happy. And if we move away from each other, then viruses, all sorts of problems, troubles, and forces of evil emerge from all the cracks between us. If we get closer together, we do not allow these evil forces to escape, but we keep them inside with restriction and the screen.

Question: In 2020, it has been estimated that a third to one half of the world’s population, almost two billion people, are at risk of losing their jobs or switching to part-time employment. More and more people work from home today. On one hand, this has many advantages for both the employers and the employees. On the other hand, we have stopped wasting time on extraneous conversations, smoking, breaks, etc. But the most crucial thing is that when we stopped working in our workplaces, we lost our social contacts.

What do you think will replace the connections that people had at work?

Answer: I am very glad that these ties are dissipating because they were all egoistic built on the lack of the correct upbringing.

Comment: Accounting for working hours when working from home is quite problematic.

Answer: We don’t need any business hours! We need a person to work from the heart 24 hours a day. This would include one’s physical activity, walking, sleeping, and one’s relationship with their family so that everything altogether would make up their life. Why look at working hours? How many people today work needlessly or with minimal benefit, ostensibly demonstrating their positions are necessary?

Question: Do you think the pay should be based on the number of working hours or on the results?

Answer: Pay should be such as to allow a person to properly exist according to one’s necessities regardless of what one does, where one works, or what position one holds. Payment should be more or less the same for everyone, according to the individual needs of each person.

Question: How can an individual’s needs be determined?

Answer: In order to answer this, we must study people and create well-defined charts of their needs. This is the realm of social work that will involve a lot of people. Each person would make a list of what they need. Let’s say that you need to fill out a form of what you need for a day, a week, a month, and a year.

From such reports, we will understand what everyone needs, and we will learn what we need and what may be completely unnecessary to produce because it only depletes the Earth.

In the News (Business Insider): “A group of 83 millionaires are pleading in an open letter to be taxed more in order to pay for the damage COVID-19 had caused to economies around the world.

“Signatories to the letter, addressed to ‘our fellow global citizens,’ called themselves ‘Millionaires for Humanity.’ …

“The signatories said that the extra governmental challenges of providing healthcare and education, and helping struggling businesses — all of which have been hit hard by the pandemic — cannot be solved through charity.

“They do not drive ambulances, serve hospital wards, or stock grocery shelves amid the pandemic, the group admitted. ‘But we do have money,’ they wrote. ‘Lots of it.’

“The group said the responsibility lies with government to raise the funds needed to address the issues that they said will last for decades, they wrote.”

Question: Do you believe it?

Answer: What are they saying? “We have been stealing for dozens of years, raking out of your empty pockets almost everything you had, to the last cent, and now we are ready to give back a little. And this so that you will buy, develop everything, and we continue to get rich from that so everything keeps going, and we have what to live on.

You do not have enough money to spin this machine? We will give you! We will “pour some gasoline” for you. And you keep working! Keep working so that we get more billions. From the fact that you spin on a penny, we earn billions.”

What do they want now? They play at nobility, saying: “We are giving it to you! We are ready to donate to you! We are ready to pull money out of our pockets!”

Question: How else can they express their empathy?

Answer: They have no empathy. Absolutely not. They know that if they pour a couple of billions into the economy now, they will continue to rake in 20 to 30 times more.

Question: And if they want this money to go to those who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus?

Answer: It does not matter. The main thing is to keep it going. And where the money goes, it does not matter.

Question: What act of theirs would you call noble? Noble at least within the framework of our world. What should they have done?

Answer: I think that we just need to take everything that they have and to give it away, and they should keep for themselves only what everyone has, because they earned all this due to the fact that tried to take the most they could at the lowest possible cost.

I may be an idealist in some way, but one cannot earn such capital in an honest way. One cannot! This is due to the fact that one forcefully takes that which belongs to everyone for oneself.

Question: But you understand that they will not do such a noble deed. They will not give all their money away. Well, will he then go and shoot himself?

Answer: It is obvious that they will not. They will buy the media as usual, although they have already bought it. They will spread the news everywhere, will ring it up, will hold charity events and concerts, and everyone will admire them.

Question: What does a person feel when he acts, in his opinion, in such a noble way? Is it only his pride that grows in him?

Answer: Of course!

Question: And they will no longer be able to do a noble deed?

Answer: This is not a noble deed. This is pompousness! Super arrogance! Say, we have earned everything through hard work and now we give part of this away to society. Let us say, I have 100 billion and I give you two billion!

Question: So what is a “turning point”? What can urge them to give away their money, even if not all of it?

Answer: Nothing can urge them. Not in any way. With such capital, they will not move.

Question: There is nothing to take over the armored egoism of these people?

Answer: No. They are accumulating lots of billions now; they are now earning much more than before. They profit from this crisis even more. But it will be over soon, and what next? After all, all this will be no longer needed, all this fashion, all these jewels. For this to exist the masses are needed!

Question: When the masses will not be able to pay for it, then a new period will begin?

Answer: Of course! They already feel it.

Question: One way or another, if not this coronavirus, as you say, then something else will lead them to the state where their thinking will turn over?

Answer: Their thinking will not turn over. I think that money will just lose its value, its meaning.

Question: What will be valued?

Answer: A person’s attitude to the world. Gradually, we will begin to appreciate a person’s attitude to society. A person will be appreciated; this will be most important.

Question: What kind of a letter from a billionaire would you take seriously?

Answer: “We have come to the conclusion that we are obliged to invest all our hundreds of billions in creating such a society that would lead all of humanity to unity, right up to the feeling of the common force of the world.”

The problem of coronavirus is not limited to one country because we live in the last generation when the Creator extends the same attitude to all of humanity, without exception, at all levels, at all degrees, and in all states.

Even on some small island lost in the Pacific Ocean, the coronavirus suddenly appears. It would seem, how did it manage to get there if the people live in isolation from the rest of the world? Nevertheless, the virus is transmitted there too.

Today, doctors and researchers are beginning to say that the virus is airborne. Does this mean that the virus is spreading thousands of kilometers in all directions? It appears simply from nature, from within it.

Due to the fact that there is no connection between us at a time when we were already obliged to unite, due to this lack of connection between inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, the coronavirus appears. We will still discover its manifestations in plants, animals, and even in inanimate matter.

First of all, we will find that the virus has reached the most remote parts of the globe, without any human factor, and even affects animals and plants. Where does it come from? From the absence of connection that must exist between all parts of reality. People are responsible for this! Therefore, we should learn about it and think about it.

All that is required of us is the awareness of mutual guarantee, the feeling that we are in the last generation. Apart from this, nothing more is needed. If we understand that we are dependent on each other and are cooking in the same pot, this will be enough to begin gradually getting out of the crisis. We will already begin to see where the cure is.

With the help of mutual guarantee, we can save ourselves from the coronavirus. It all depends on the right connection between us. The coronavirus is a consequence of the lack of unity among us. For this reason alone, it manifests itself.

All problems and all kinds of viruses appear because there is no correspondence between the parts of nature, and therefore they cannot connect with each other starting from the level of atoms, molecules, and up to larger and more complex particles. Parts of nature cannot come together into one system, and this gives rise to all problems—like a cancerous tumor, a malignant formation that lacks the right connections with tissues.

Therefore, the fight against coronavirus can only be at the human level, if we think well of each other. After all, by our unity, we will attract the force of good that will unite everyone. This power is higher and stronger than all our adversity, and it will heal everything for us.

Our association is a cure for all problems, physical and mental, personal, and social. When it passes through all layers of connections between people, animals, plants, and inanimate nature, then the whole world will become one and connected with only one force, in mutual guarantee.

The Times of Israel published my new article “If Israel Were America”

For months, I have been watching with growing trepidation the cavalier nonchalance of Israelis toward COVID-19. Now, I am afraid, it’s too late to undo the damage. In the past week, the average death toll was 31 people, and the rate is quickly rising since many hospitals have passed max capacity and medical personnel are worn out. Proportionally, 31 deaths are equivalent to a daily death rate of 1130 people in the US. And it’s rising quickly. And as far as new cases go, no one even comes close to Israel. On September 3rd, the number of new confirmed cases was 2,990 on that day alone. A week later, on the 10th, the daily tally was 4,400. Six days later, on the 16th, 6,600 tests came back positive, and a week later, on the 23rd, no less than 11,300 people tested positive for the coronavirus on that one day. If Israel were America, this rate would mean 419,000 new confirmed cases in a single day!

And all the while, entire sections of the nation are defiantly ignoring the government’s lockdown orders. They’re saying that they will not comply until other sectors comply. They protest against the government’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis, but they refuse to wear masks or keep social distancing. In the first wave of the pandemic, we stood shoulder to shoulder and nearly eliminated the virus. In the second wave, we have become an exemplar of a country paralyzed by internal bickering.

In the battle against the virus, it seems as though we have made every possible error. But when we can’t even agree to try one course of action, and if it fails try another, we are left with no course of action whatsoever, and the horrific results are now beginning to show. Before long, the proportional death toll in Israel will outpace that of every country by a huge margin. Because the world always examines Israel with a close-up lens, we will become a proof that disunity wreaks destruction.

The closure that has been declared now will likely yield poor results not because it’s a bad idea, but because we’re not united and we’re not obeying it. We’re still doing whatever we want despite government orders and police attempts to enforce them. The result will be that people will be dropping on the streets of Israel, literally.

The coronavirus could have been an opportunity to serve as a positive role model. When the world is in darkness, fear, and division, we could be an example of unity. We could show how we rise above our differences and (deep) dislikes, and unite in order to defeat an otherwise undefeatable enemy. But we are failing left and right, thinking only of ourselves and seeing only our own interests.

We just celebrated Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, when we are meant to atone for our sins. But Yom Kippur does not atone for sins against our fellow persons, and even during that holiest of days to the Jews, we committed countless sins against our neighbors by not obeying the simple rules that could cut the infection chains.

The current level of internal hatred and division in Israeli society has become an existential risk. We are weakening our ranks and our ability to withstand aggression. Moreover, we are on the brink of erupting with internal acts of violence and aggression.

More than once we were consumed by civil wars before. In the last one, we lost our sovereignty and it took us nearly two millennia to regain it. Now we see that the ills that caused our destruction then are still just as active, and threaten to bring doom on us once more if we don’t get a grip on our raging egos.

We cannot, and will not convince one another. We must only remember that being Israel means sticking to our unity despite our differences, above them. Besides the fact that by doing so, we will set an example that others will want to follow, accomplishing this will save our nation from another civil war and another exile.

Today, the world suffers from the fact that people do not have enough money, respect, and health. A person no longer thinks about elevated goals, but worries about the most vital things and how to suffer less.

We need to embrace these sufferings and give them the correct direction toward the Creator to correct this lack of understanding, like a mother takes care of a sick child who does not understand his illness. He just feels that he is sick and cries from pain. The mother should take him to the doctor, give him medicine, and provide all the necessary care.

This is how we should treat all of humanity. The Creator is the doctor, He is the source of all the abundance that we need to pass on to people. We need to learn how to do this, how to hear from the doctor how we should treat the child and persuade humanity to take the medicine in order to recover.

All of us are tightly connected to this world, are aware of all the news, and understand what is happening to it, and therefore we feel its sufferings. From this, we should understand our work as the last generation. Today, everyone gets the same treatment from the Creator and we must see ourselves between these two forces: the Creator and the created beings.

Our task is to implement their correct connection and to help them understand each other so that the Creator understands the created beings, the created beings understand the Creator, and together they develop in the correct direction.

We need to understand that the epidemic is not a blow but a push toward our development. All these forces come to develop us and lead us to connection and through this connection to a feeling of the common, upper force of nature. We have to contact this upper force of nature and this has nothing to do with any religion.

Soon we will see how much humanity needs this connection with the upper force and the upper force itself needs it, and also how much we are ready to connect. Then all of life will improve. This is called the correct connection between all parts of reality.

Question: Based on today’s reality, people are very worried when the pandemic will end. Different authorities speak differently. Some believe that this will happen in 2021, and by 2022 at the latest. Others say that the consequences of the pandemic will never pass, that is, humanity will not remain the same as it was before.

What is your opinion about when the pandemic will end?

Answer: Never. Never, in the sense that we will not return to what was. No way. We will only go ahead and change precisely under the influence of negative influences.

Every day we hear on the news about millions of coronavirus cases and thousands of deaths. The pandemic continues to spread and there is no end in sight. At first, we hoped that a couple of weeks would pass and the epidemic would end. But no one thinks so today. They are starting to say that there is no cure for the coronavirus and that most likely we will not be able to create a vaccine.

There will be some mitigation but there will be no real protection. There have already been examples of such diseases. Either they return regularly or they are constantly circulating between us. Therefore, we should not hope for the end of the pandemic, which, as it is now assumed, will come in a year or two. It will end when we finish it. It depends not on time but on our work.

The world suffers from a lack of food, money, and pleasure. But if we want a good life in which there will be all the best things, we must know the laws of nature and fulfill them properly. The primary law of nature is an integral dependence, which means that we are in a single organism. If a part of the body is broken, it suffers and the whole body suffers.

But the state of humanity is such that we are all split, separated from each other, from mutual good bestowal! Therefore, we are like a broken body that has no way to come back to life. So we must take care of our connection. This is called proper ecology, the integrality of nature manifested at all its levels. We must connect with each other correctly because nature obliges us to do so.

Nature says: “Do you want money, respect, health, food, and entertainment? I have it all for you! Only pay. With what?—With your connection.”
