Question: What means do you propose for Europe to come to unity?

Answer: This means is not within us, but is hidden inside nature. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to extract this good force and to use it to change ourselves. We don’t need to change anything except ourselves.

I can’t change others. But each one who participates in this work changes himself, and nothing else. He can teach others only how to do the same actions and to change.

Question: What is hidden in nature’s force?

Answer: This is a force of connection and unity, the force of love.

Question: So why couldn’t the Europeans discover this force before; after all, they were also talking about unity and love?

Answer: This force hasn’t been revealed yet in any place in the world because the world only now begins to discover how much it needs it. Until now this force wasn’t needed and everybody thought that we would succeed through developing culture, education, science, and philosophy.

But today we see that everything that exists within a person becomes detrimental to him if he begins to use it. If we want to achieve a good, peaceful life, without wars, problems, and troubles, we should adopt the method of Kabbalah that explains how humanity can continue its development in a good way.

Kabbalah teaches us how to extract this force from nature and reveal this force that will unite us. To do this we need to examine ourselves, our nature, the nature of the world, and the force hidden in nature. Previously, we were developing only by the evil egoistic force, but today we can add the good force to it.

Question: Will this force perform a miracle and turn a person from an egoist to an altruist?

Answer: Actually, this force will lead a person to a balance. There will be the old force and the new force present in him, a minus and a plus. Thus, a person will be under control of two forces. Then he will really know how to realize the goals assigned to him.

Question: Does it mean that there is a hidden force in nature that you are advising us to extract?

Answer: This force isn’t so hidden; it operates in nature. We know that in nature there are positive and negative forces in each atom. Only within a person there is the negative force alone, and the positive force isn’t revealed. However, in fact, we know that it exists. We just need to reveal it.

Question: Why haven’t we revealed it so far?

Answer: Because nobody required it. But today we are ready to reveal this force; therefore, the method that allows us to awaken the positive force of nature and to balance the negative force is revealed. This method of Kabbalah was always lived within the people of Israel.

Question: Does the wisdom of Kabbalah have some unknown patent for revealing the positive force within a person?

Answer: Of course! Kabbalah explains how to connect, how to study, and where and how to search for this good force. It is because the people of Israel who have this method don’t reveal it that the nations of the world subconsciously hate them. After all, we have the method to unite that everybody badly needs, but we don’t pass it through ourselves to others.

The era of European civilization in its present, egoistic form is coming to an end, and a new era is beginning where we will have to implement the method of Kabbalah and to bring the Light to the world. The new stage begins with a person’s awareness of the need to change himself. People will open their eyes and will begin to understand from where it is really possible to get a force for changing their life for the better.

Do not hesitate to learn from what was done in the countries hardly hit by terrorism – I refer specifically to Israel. “He expressed his determination to fight against jihadism, arguing that in his region there are probably ‘around 80 people’ classified as radicalized.

My Comment: That is how life teaches itself, on itself. Previously they didn’t agree in any way with the preventative measures used by Israel. Hatred toward Israel will only intensify, because the worse it becomes for the West, the subconscious feeling will become more tangible that the Jews are to blame for the security problems, not the Arabs. This is because the Jews must show the entire world an example of connection and unity, and this is the only this way the world will come to peace and tranquility.

My Comment: Everything is permeated with unwillingness to work together, but for each to grab as much as possible for itself now. Moreover, the intentions of the Americans are transparent: through Trans-Atlantic trade and investment agreements and the Trans-Pacific Partnership to bind Europe and to choke it according to the principle, “you will die today, and tomorrow me.”

But it was clear from the start that the European Union wouldn’t have future education of its members in the spirit of a united Europe. Farewell Europe!

Question: The European ideals of equality and brotherhood were just a pretty external wrapping, but inside a person stayed the same barbarian, and Hitler’s Germany is an example of it. What is the human internal change the wisdom of Kabbalah calls us to?

Answer: Human nature is a desire to enjoy from everything that is possible. Our body is organized this way. Each of its cells, the nervous system, thoughts, desires, mind, and heart, everything is directed to receiving maximum pleasure and fulfillment from food, sex, family, money, honor, and knowledge, meaning for our own pleasure; this is the way we are created.

Any creation in this world is organized according to this principle, stone, plant, animal, and human. Only in a human this egoism is expressed much more. In contrast to all other beings, man does not consume from the environment only what is necessary for his existence, but wants to swallow the whole world.

Even if I myself don’t need it, I will take it so that others won’t get it. We see how billionaires until the end of their life only care about earning more and more money. What for? The desire not to leave it to others motivates them subconsciously. Such is our nature.

If our nature is so egoistic, then no mind, ethics, science, psychology, philosophy, culture, and education can help us. For hundreds of years in different parts of the world, and particularly in Europe, people have tried to correct a person, and yet we see that he is still the same egoist, wanting to receive for himself and not thinking about anybody else.

The Europeans feel that it is necessary to build a new world where we all will be united. They have tried to unite because this state seemed very beautiful and good. They wanted to make Europe a joint home.

But what have they done instead? Instead of uniting people they united banks, factories, and government organizations in order to strengthen their egoism even more than before. Besides this nothing has changed. The French don’t hate the Germans less than before. Each European nation doesn’t like its neighbors and is afraid of them.

The European Union, similar to the French Revolution and to all revolutions in general, made only external cosmetic changes without affecting human nature. To make a real revolution is possible only by changing a person. Nowadays we gradually begin to realize that without changing the person we don’t have any chance for success.

Question: You just said that neither culture, nor education, nor science was able to change people and Europe is proof of it. So how can a person be changed, by what means?

Answer: First of all, an awareness of the need to change human nature is required. Our state is simply threatening without this change. Otherwise it wasn’t worth uniting Europe because it has turned out for the worse. When we try to implement the upper values but only in the external form, we just do damage. If you place people who hate each other in one apartment, then nothing good will come out of it, they will start fighting. It is better to let them go in different directions.

Look what is happening today in Europe, hatred is growing more and more. Luckily they have a common problem with Muslim refugees that unites them. Otherwise they would’ve killed each other already.

The wisdom of Kabbalah says that the only thing that will save us is a genuine union that we must achieve at this stage of history. Through it all humanity will come to the desired correction. And Europe, as the most prepared for it and the most developed part of the world, must show an example of this to everyone.

Question: Why hasn’t Europe been able to unite despite its many years of effort?

Answer: The Europeans didn’t know how to do it. The pretty slogans of the French Revolution about freedom, equality, and brotherhood remained just words. They didn’t understand then and still don’t understand now that in order for these words to become reality a person himself must change.

But a person can’t change by himself or conquer his egoism. In order to rise above his egoistic nature he needs a special external force that will correct and change him.

The French didn’t know about it and couldn’t succeed. Therefore, the great French Revolution was replaced by other revolutions under different flags including Nazism and nowadays radical Islam. All this is due to the fact that people couldn’t understand that real connection is achieved only by changing human nature.

The method of Kabbalah is different because for the first time in history we don’t change the external systems: religion, science, culture, education, and government, but a person himself. Nobody even knows what it means, except for Kabbalists. It doesn’t mean that a person gets a little more knowledge or education and begins to treat others more ethically and in a more civilized way.

A person must rise above his egoistic nature and receive another, the altruistic one, which nobody knows about today. Kabbalah is truly a hidden wisdom that is getting revealed today and gives us an opportunity to implement all of this. However, if we don’t do this, we will see horrible disasters in the world, worse than any suffering experienced by humanity through its entire history.

A person must rise to the nature of bestowal and to really love his neighbor, not just in words. Exactly the same way he automatically thinks today about himself, he will think about the welfare of others, simply because it will be in his nature. Today, he cares only about himself and his family, i.e., about everything that belongs to him, and tomorrow he will suddenly start to think differently and care about society.

All the former European ideals and moral values seemingly calling for equality and brotherhood were completely egoistic, even though mankind considered the European approach to be a model of humanity and altruism. After all, it was so in comparison to the barbaric approach. But nobody compared it to the method that creates and builds a new altruistic person.

“If we do not give priority to solving the problems of unemployment, then Europe would threaten a real collapse – new referendums in which the population will demand exit from the EU. Also, the governments of the EU countries opposed to the EU will continue to appear, ‘ warned Tsipras.

“‘The lack of action in the social sphere in the EU leads to the fact that small marginal politicians, racists, are in the power position and determine where to move Europe,’ he said.

My Comment: The collapse will lead to global shocks. The solution—is only in the realization of bringing people together. We need to understand the cause of the crisis: the growing mismatch of the contradictory selfish human community (creation) and a single integrated global altruistic nature (the Creator).

The solution is to correct our nature by attracting the highly positive force that can counterbalance the negative egoistic strength of each and all of us together.

No real connection comes from external changes; it comes from a person’s inner change. This is a method to transcend the ego, to acquire a new nature of bestowal and love, without which we are facing an abyss. Europe thought they could create an enlightened man without internal change, but because human nature is to want to enjoy and always thinks of oneself alone, the EU has failed. It’s like getting people who hate each other to live in one apartment when it is better to stay away from each other.

Radical Islam is the common problem, but without it the Europeans were already devouring each other. Because Europe is the most developed continent, it is actually Europe where the correction and the example for the whole world can stem from. In order to find the good force in nature, we have to learn about human nature, the nature of the world, and how we develop.

My Comment: But this also won’t help because the current crisis is not a crisis as happened in the past. It is the manifestation of a new stage in the development of humanity. It is caused by the program rooted in nature, not by us.

According to this program, a person has to change and to turn into a social creature, which means to change his conduct from an egoist individualist to a person who is active in society, an altruist. This is actually the model of an integral world or a small village.

A person can undergo such a transformation only under the influence of the special force in nature that can be spurred only by implementing the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah. This is the reason it is revealed today.

But people have not really changed. Until today, Europeans have been very conservative. In general, scientific development has no relation to human development. A person can be a barbarian with an atomic bomb in his hand.

In my column in Ynet: “What Is the Hidden Law of Nature?”

A butterfly fluttering its wings in Paris creates small changes in the atmosphere that can ultimately generate a tornado in Brazil.  The “butterfly effect” that operates in an integral system also has an optimistic side: a small action on our part for the benefit of society can trigger a lot more goodness on the other side of the globe.

Imagine a person who decides to retire from social life in order to live in a cave or in the mountains or on a desert island in the middle of the ocean.

He lives cut off from everything: no fast food, no Internet, no cell phone, and no people around him, only the person himself and nature that surrounds him. At first, he probably feels an amazing sense of freedom, a dream come true, but soon enough, he finds it difficult to meet his basic needs: food, protection from predators, shelter from weather changes, trouble taking care of himself in case of an injury or an illness, and no one to share his moments of sorrow and joy with.

Ironically, this person can be any one of us. Even in the global era of the 21^st century, in a society where we all are connected to each other through advanced technology, everyone retires to his own desert island, prefers to cut himself off from others, and takes care of himself instead of cooperating with his environment. By doing so, we go against nature, disrupting its global laws, and the immediate result is that our relationships are in a crisis, reaching a dead end expressed by the high rate of divorce, conflicts between neighbors and colleagues, wars between peoples and nations, as well as by poverty, hunger, and deprivation, which unfortunately are becoming the daily routine of most of mankind.

How have we reached this absurd situation in such a developed world? What can we do in order to change things for the better, and what does nature actually expect from us?

How to Survive These Days

Man is a social creature by nature. Nature has motivated man for ages to create infinite social, economic, and cultural relationships that have been woven into a tight global network thanks to which a person can get anything that he wants today by the click of a button. It may seem that nature operates randomly, without a certain purpose or direction, but the vast nature works very precisely, according to a predefined range of laws that drive every detail in harmony toward a single goal: to connect all parts of humanity into one society.

Nature could have developed in a perfect manner toward ultimate happiness, toward global unity where we could live as one big family, but this isn’t what we are seeing. So, what prevents us from connecting this way? It is our egoistic nature. A man’s heart is evil from his youth, the negative force in us that often makes us prefer our wellbeing to the wellbeing of others.

The combination of nature that pressures us from the outside by different climactic changes and places obstacles along our way so that we would unite into one society, along with the forces that operate on us from inside, the negative feelings that make us feel repulsed by each other, are leading us to an eventual clash. They disrupt the balance in our relationships and lead to the disintegration of social infrastructures and all of the troubles and disasters that we encounter.

We must spur the force of connection, the positive force, in order to overcome the ego and balance the bad relations between us. When we sit together at a roundtable and focus our conversation on the internal point that ties us together, the effort to leave the desert island and to move toward the common part, it will reveal the positive force that is concealed in the connection between us. We will be wrapped in a feeling of love and warmth. This togetherness will make us feel good and comfortable, but this is only the first step of the process. The stronger the connection between us becomes, the more connections we will create that are essentially similar to the connections that operate in nature.

A Relationship of Give and Take

At the roundtable we will learn about the force of nature that operates in order to connect us. There are only two laws: giving and receiving. The law of receiving obliges every individual in society to receive the basic necessities for himself so that he can care for his own wellbeing and prosperity. The law of giving, on the other hand, obliges every individual to care for the prosperity of society and its wellbeing. The law of receiving is embedded in us just like the law of gravity. We keep it naturally since if we don’t, we will be “punished.” A person who stops working, for example, soon will face economic problems. Life itself forces us to keep the law of receiving.

The fulfillment of the law of giving is much more complicated. Our contribution to the development of society does not always bear immediate fruit, and sometimes it takes time until this goodness returns to us. Therefore, we don’t have a strong desire and a natural urge to obey the law of giving and to care about the prosperity of the society. When we don’t obey this law, the punishment arrives very soon. As Baal HaSulam, Rav Yehuda Ashlag, writes in his article “The Peace.”

“Thus, humanity is being fried in a heinous turmoil, and strife and famine and their consequences have not ceased thus far. And the wonder about it is that nature, like a skillful judge, punishes us according to our development. For we can see that to the extent that humankind develops, the pains and torments surrounding our sustenance and existence also multiply.

“Thus you have a scientific, empirical basis that His Providence has commanded us to keep with all our might the Mitzva of bestowal upon others in utter precision, in such a way that no member from among us would work any less than the measure required to secure the happiness of society and its success. And as long as we are idle performing it to the fullest, nature will not stop punishing us and take its revenge.”

The law of giving is intentionally concealed from us since it is thanks to this concealment that we have a chance to develop independently in order to acquire the great wisdom that is concealed in nature. A butterfly fluttering its wings in Paris creates small changes in the atmosphere that can ultimately generate a tornado in Brazil.  The “butterfly effect” that operates in an integral system also has an optimistic side: a small action on our part for the benefit of society can trigger a lot more goodness on the other side of the globe.This goodness sooner or later will return to us. Nature is stronger than all of our forces and will continue to “beat” us until we join it and fulfill the law of giving. Then, we will pave the safe way to happiness.
