“Dreaming Away Pandemic Nightmares” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “Dreaming Away Pandemic Nightmares”

Either awake or asleep, thoughts about the pandemic haunt all of humanity like no other event in the last century. Covid-19 nightmares around the world are one of the most recent subjects of study. Harvard University research confirmed that people worldwide are experiencing remarkable changes in the frequency and nature of their dreams as a result of the global health emergency. This further confirms that the virus impacts humanity as a single body, and therefore, it is high time that we start acting as such.

The repercussions from the coronavirus are not isolated incidents but global occurrences that affect the whole human race. Daytime fears and concerns about the pandemic remain trapped inside people’s minds at night while they sleep according to a Harvard Medical School study. The research evaluated thousands of responses to a global survey recounting similar bizarre dreams of swarms of killer bugs and other virus-related imagery, regardless of people’s location and occupation.

Dreams are constructed from a set of thoughts and desires that a person accumulates during the day. Even if he may not be aware of them, they remain below the surface in one’s subconscious. When a person puts his head on their pillow and falls asleep, he no longer has control over his thoughts and hidden desires. During sleep they are withdrawn from the individual’s memory and arise in the form of dreams.

When our emotions, ideas, sensations, and desires are free from limitations, free from the oppression of the outside world, and without physical boundaries, they connect and integrate into a dream, mixing up elements and experiences which many times manifest in an illogical and bizarre way. This process has given rise to all kinds of theories and speculation about their origin and interpretation. But dreams are nothing more than that, a psychosocial and physiological process. At the end of the day, what we are is flesh with an internal nervous system that awakens us all the time and does not let us rest even in our sleep when our brain is no longer working at full power.

Dreaming is an important mechanism that allows us to process images and get rid of them. Sometimes dreams are not simple, they can put us into unpleasant situations, stress, and fears. It is therefore advisable to read something soothing or even funny before bedtime. Reading Psalms can also help to channel the thoughts in a good direction. Sex can also ease stress and release the body from the tension it has accumulated during the day.

The stress of our daily life since the coronavirus outbreak has become a worldwide phenomena. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, this period is a time when humanity completes its stage of individual development and moves on to a higher and new stage in which all individuals connect as one body, to be as one family, one soul. Therefore, it is only natural that even nightmares are now globally similar as the world itself has become global and round.

We have all become connected, we share common challenges and experiences. We go through the same pandemic and face the same crises while we are awake. Although everyone thinks about their personal life, about their family and work, these individual thoughts are now merged in the world’s collective consciousness so our experiences are increasingly similar. These new conditions present a remarkable opportunity to transform our nightmare into the dream of a more pleasant world and vivid reality.

Nature’s Reaction To Human Relationships

294.2Question: A norm becomes truly moral only when the requirement contained within it is realized by the person as an internal command to himself. Under what conditions does this happen?

Answer: In order for a person to reach such a level, he must be raised, shown that it works this way, and then from what actually exists around him, he will see that he cannot act otherwise. We must achieve this state.

Now, we are moving toward the realization that our interactions, whether good or evil, have tremendous impact on the whole of nature. It is not even necessary that our they are expressed in some kind of mechanical action since human thoughts also affect our states to a large extent.

Comment: Indeed, today, when we are in quarantine, we see how fragmented society is. There are the more selfish strata of society and the less so, the former observing the rules of quarantine and the latter not.

On the one hand, we understand that without mutual guarantee we will not be able to cope with the pandemic. On the other hand, nobody wants to give in. There is no general culture or general education.

My Response: Because we do not see an obvious interaction or an explicit reaction from nature to our bad relationships.

Comment: We do see! People are dying! This is already clearly visible.

My Response: But I do not see this in personal examples. I don’t see that if I scold someone then, the next day, I die, myself. Therefore, we must come to such a development that a person feels that his evil attitude toward another kills both himself and his opponent.

Preparation Of Egoism For Future Changes

294.2Question: Why has it taken humanity such a long time to get to equitable conditions and equality of all before the law? Also, although it is not spiritual equality, do you still see some progress in this?

Answer: Yes, I do see some progress. It has taken humanity such a long time to get to the current state because we work with egoism. At the lower stages of its development, egoism is really impenetrable. It has taken thousands of years to somehow prepare it for future changes.

We do not yet feel these changes, but soon they will begin to manifest themselves. We will see how at different stages of human development, at different historical stages, we were preparing ourselves for these changes. We can get through them.

The fact that everything has been distributed in such a way over time only indicates that nature understands who it is dealing with and knows how to do everything according to the law of its intrinsic development.

It is necessary to gradually bring egoism to an awareness of the need for ethical, moral, and eventually spiritual changes.

In the News (thejournal): “John Lennon’s killer [Mark Chapman] apologises to Yoko Ono for his ‘despicable act’…

“During the [parole] hearing, Chapman said he killed Lennon, 40, for ‘glory’ and admitted he deserves the death penalty.

“’I just want to reiterate that I’m sorry for my crime,’ he said. ‘I have no excuse. This was for self-glory.’ …

“He said: ‘I assassinated him, to use your word earlier, because he was very, very, very famous and that’s the only reason and I was very, very, very, very much seeking self-glory, very selfish.”

Question: How is it possible that his desire to be, as he writes, “very-very-very-very” famous is above everything else, above life and death?

Answer: This is the easiest way to become famous. It is because he worked off someone else’s reward. Lennon had risen so much that he became famous and respected by everyone. While this guy, in a single moment, pressed the trigger and killed him and instantly gained the same amount of fame.

Question: What about his own life? There is no life afterward. He faced a lifetime sentence.

Answer: Had he continued being who he was, nothing would have come of him. But now he’s famous everywhere.

Comment: What an ego there is inside us! There’s an eternity in it!

My Response: Certainly.

Question: So it comes down to fame above all else?

Answer: He climbed to Lennon’s level.

Question: Meaning, that without applying any effort, having any talent or anything else, he rose to his level? Is this a natural human desire or is this still a special desire?

Answer: No. This is a specific individual that simply cannot, does not understand, cannot find any other way to do something with himself, to raise himself above others except for going about it in such a special way.

I understand him. What else can he do if there is a voice speaking inside him that he simply must be at least as famous as Lennon.

Question: What if this person would have a glimmer of thought about the meaning of life, would he not have committed this act?

Answer: Of course not. Why sacrifice your life? To serve 40 years? Where’s the sense in that?

Question: So, in reality, all that humanity is lacking is a small ray of light in this dark kingdom, is that so?

Answer: Yes. I think that little by little we will overcome this stupidity.

Question: Why wouldn’t the Creator shed this light just a little bit?

Answer: It is prohibited. He cannot do so. The Creator has no right to! Otherwise, He would violate this fundamental law of nature that egoism is completely opposite to Him!

Question: What does this law give us?

Answer: That man can become equal to the Creator at the end of his correction. Otherwise he will not.

Question: Will He suppress him in this way? Will a person run after this ray of light and will always be chasing it?

Answer: Yes. In fact, maybe he’d be able to achieve something in the middle. But a person must become equal to the Creator, free in his manifestations, and choose by free choice exactly similarity to the Creator, and achieve the similarity with the Creator in spite of all problems, specifically in spite of all problems, becoming independent, that is, creating another image of the Creator out of all the laws and qualities of the universe.

If the Creator does this—there’s no point in that! He has no right to interfere, to change one iota of these conditions.

Question: So is complete darkness coming in a little while?

Answer: Yes, of course! The deepest darkness will settle in before the final correction.

Question: Before the ascent?

Answer: Yes. We have not seen this yet.

Question: So this is not final yet?

Answer: No. There will be general outrage. As it is written, there will be the rise of all the nations against Israel, and so on. Just terrible things.

Comment: You are saying “terrible” and “outrage,” and yet you still have some kind of inner joy.

My Response: I feel joy because this is a necessary stage that we have to go through, and we can go through it rather well by placing the light against the darkness. And then it will truly be a great jolt forward.

Question: So what will humanity have to do if they now start feeling complete chaos and darkness?

Answer: First, we have to rise up to that level. Complete chaos and darkness will not be revealed unless we have the ability to bring out the light to offset this darkness.

Question: Meaning, the Creator sends only what we can overcome? Will we be able to overcome this and get back on our feet?

Answer: Of course. But in the meanwhile, you see that it’s dragging on and on. The more we will tell the world about what is going on and what to do, the more the problems will arise and the faster we will solve them.

Question: Then why do you keep telling the world to come to its senses? It does not need to come to its senses, let it descend into complete darkness.

Answer: This is how it will be brought there. The more we know, the faster we will get there. But we do have to go through it!

“At The Mall Today, In The Morgue Tomorrow” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “At the Mall Today, in the Morgue Tomorrow”

Corona deniers abound in every country. You can see them demonstrating against government initiated lockdowns, walking around maskless, bragging about their carelessness and indifference to the harm they can inflict on others by infecting them, and packing public places as if it’s 2019. So what if more than a quarter of a million Americans died and countless others suffer from post corona complications that no one can explain, heal, or say how long they’ll last? So what if my “freedom of expression” jeopardizes someone else’s life? In a free country, I’m free to do what I want, right?

Wrong. We’re free to do what we want as long as it doesn’t inflict harm on others. When it comes to Covid-19, irresponsible behavior in public doesn’t fall into that category; it risks other people’s health, and possibly their lives.

I would like to suggest an idea to authorities that wish to contain the plague: Start a campaign and title it, “At the Mall Today, in the Morgue Tomorrow.” Take security camera footage of people in public places, how they have fun and hang out with each other carelessly, how they disregard safety precautions, don’t wear masks, don’t keep the required distance, and don’t avoid contact. Two weeks later, go over these data and cross-check them against registrations of new confirmed Covid cases. I’m sure the results, despite all the privacy laws protecting personal data, will show sufficient evidence that Covid is very real and people do suffer the consequences of their actions.

There is no intention to revenge inconsiderate behavior, but simply to prove that the danger is real. This act, as cold as it may seem, may save numerous lives by exposing the truth that so many people are trying to deny: Covid is real, and it is here!

Once people realize that there really is a problem, that the 270,000 odd Covid deaths were real people who are not with us anymore, they will be more open to contemplate ways to resolve the situation. This is when we need to start talking about mutual responsibility, solidarity, interdependence, and all those beautiful and true ideas that seem so insubstantial to people until interdependence hits them in the face because they or someone they love was infected by a careless person.

We need to realize, and start acting accordingly, that there is one basic rule to all of nature: All beings are one system, one entity. Just as there is no such thing as one organ being sick but the rest of the body is healthy, there is no such thing as one person being sick and the rest of humanity is healthy. A sickness anywhere is a sickness everywhere. The fact that we don’t feel it doesn’t mean it’s not true; it means that our senses are flawed, that we are sick with alienation, and that in order to heal the rest of our illnesses, we must first heal the condition of alienation.

If we work on this together, we can change reality. We can learn to feel each other, feel our connectedness and our mutual dependence. We can discover the benefits of mutual responsibility and solidarity, but first we must make a joint commitment to do it. When we are sick of isolation and loneliness, we will be able to heal ourselves from our senseless pride and start connecting. When we are sick of alienation, we will be able to see that alienation is our real sickness.

“He Who Comes To Kill You, Kill Him First” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “He Who Comes to Kill You, Kill Him First”

Our sages wrote, “He who comes to kill you, kill him first” (Midrash Rabbah, 21:4), and “If one comes to kill you, kill him first” (Midrash Tanchum, Pinhas, Chapter 3). A few days ago, the top Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, considered the mastermind of Iran’s nuclear program, died after his car was apparently ambushed in a district east of Tehran. Although most fingers point to Israel, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that this is a feat of American forces. Either way, I am wholly in favor of it. A person who dedicates his life to the destruction of others should be eliminated. This is not only Jewish ancient law, as just stated, it is the reasonable thing to do in the eyes of every sensible person. Fakhrizadeh devoted his life to developing an atom bomb that would destroy the state of Israel and kill its people. This makes his killing a classic act of self-defense.

There are reports of some Jewish organizations that denounced his killing. Even if their words are mere groveling to powerful anti-Israel forces whom they wish to placate and propitiate, such a position proves that they have no wish for the existence of the State of Israel.

A decision to take someone’s life, even if he is your worst enemy, does not come easy. It requires months, if not years of deliberation and weighing of all the options. But once it is clear that only eliminating that person will stop the progress of a plan for genocide, even if only temporarily, it becomes justified to kill him and disrupt the ploy.

In the case of Iran, it is obvious that its goal is to use nuclear weapons to destroy Israel. It is also obvious that they do not have any plans to arrest or slow down their efforts to build such weapons. Therefore, eliminating the Iranian chief nuclear scientist is a wise and required move.

In fact, even considering the possible Iranian response, such as attacks on embassies or using its proxies in the Middle-East to attack Israel, I have no doubt that the costs were calculated and the right conclusions were drawn.

It is true that Israel is in danger now, but when has it not been, when Fakhrizadeh was alive? Israel has been in danger since the first Hebrews left Babylon following Abraham and decided to build a new nation on the basis of love of others, opposite from the rest of the world.

The latest incident does not change anything in the big picture. All it does is buy Israel time to get a grip on its role in the world: unite its ranks and set a model of solidarity above disputes.

If the people of Israel unite among themselves above all their differences, they will become the role model that the world desperately needs. This is the only circumstance in which the nations will consider Israel’s existence as legitimate, and even desirable. Internal solidarity and mutual responsibility are the only cures to the hatred against us. They are our only true defense against nuclear bombs, as they will neutralize the hatred that creates them.

But until we wise up and rise above our hatred, targeted operations are required in order to give us more time to complete our task. The only questions are how much time can we buy, and how much longer can we take until we wise up and do what we were intended to do in the world.

Different Levels Of Decision Making

583.04Question: Research shows that a small group of ten to forty people can demonstrate true knowledge of complex issues. Therefore, one cannot blindly believe in the wisdom of the crowd. There are matters that need specialists to be solved.

When can the wisdom of the crowd be used to solve problems and when is it collective intelligence? Why, when connected to wisdom, does it take it to a new level? And yet, this is not enough. Does one also need knowledge?

Answer: It depends on what questions you are deciding. You cannot gather a million people who do not understand anything, for example, about construction and expect that they could build a high-rise building. They won’t succeed. And if you bring together several specialists, you will get a positive result.

Therefore, it is necessary to specifically look at what the problem is that you want to solve. One either walks in knowledge or walks in faith above knowledge. If you go in knowledge, you must gather specialists. If you are faced with a task that is practically unattainable, for example, how to cope with the coronavirus, then experts will not be able to help.

We see that this form of epidemic simultaneously affects everyone in the world, It is becoming more and more dominant and spreading throughout the planet. I do not think that we will be able to limit, stop, or kill it in any way.

Then we will have to take into account the wisdom of the crowd. How do we find a solution? It is very simple. If we take a huge number of people without putting them in an office that would exploit their mind and knowledge but would collect them and try to raise them above their level so that they work for unification, then the result will be only unity, an ascent over their personal egoism. Then, they will be able to successfully identify what the problem is.

Unique Level Of Annulment

530Question: Let us say I am the minister of health and you are the minister of finance. We need to make a decision in an hour whether to close the country for quarantine or not. It is clear that we will have different opinions. So, should you annul your opinion and I mine?

Answer: No. Neither of us can annul his opinion. It will not do any good. Here we need to create a completely different system of decision-making but definitely not from the cabinets of ministers.

We need to assemble a group that wants to rise above their egoistic opinions. Not to take the side of one or another egoist but to rise above themselves. This is possible only when each of us annuls himself before the others.

The ten (Minyan) is enough for this. If everyone in the ten starts annulling themselves to the others, then we can feel the community, feel what it means that we have annulled ourselves.

This point of annulment will be the starting point of our spiritual development, which is the foundation of the degree of Bina—the degree of new knowledge. We should start with this.

Question: Does it mean that even if we concede to each other and find something in the middle, we will not get anywhere either? Does the solution lie at a different level?

Answer: Yes. Unfortunately, this level is still unclear because it is really special and unique.

Comment: You are talking about feelings that are impossible to grasp.

My Response: In this case, humanity will have to suffer a little more before they close their eyes and accept this from people who already have this feeling.

Where To Look For The Right Solution?

The One Inside Me

293Comment: There is pain in the world. As you keep saying, this pandemic is not the end of it. The UN has already accepted that we have lost this fight with more than a million dead and more than 30 million infected, and that we need to unite. But how? How can we unite? Suddenly Karabakh! Nation on nation! Such hatred is spilled out that did not exist before. What’s going on in Belarus?! What’s happening in America?!

My Response: The world, of course, has descended…

Question: What about Israel? The government can’t make basic decisions. It seems that we were not put in apartments, in rooms, the virus didn’t scare us.

Answer: Mutual pretensions are the strongest.

Question: This is staggering! What kind of nature is this?! How can we work with it?

Answer: This is the next state of egoism. The fact that I pay less and less attention to the consequences that are allegedly threatening. I am threatened, others are threatened, it doesn’t matter, I don’t feel it. What can I do?

Question: A person has no responsibility. Should there be a change of mind or a change of heart?

Answer: “What the mind doesn’t do, time does,” the Bible says.

We are trying to speed up this process of the revelation of evil. For what? For humanity to tell its ego: “That’s it! You don’t rule me anymore! I’m separating myself from you! This is you, and this is me.”

What can I do to realize that it is guiding me all the time? I get up in the morning and feel that it is guiding me: “Get up, go there, do that, sit down this way, that way…” It commands me all the time.

Question: Should I admit that I am its slave?

Answer: I don’t admit it. I begin to understand this and begin to rebel against it because I see that, in principle, it does not prepare anything good for me.

We need to rise above this so our earthly nature does not guide us. We can’t go on living this way anymore.

Question: We can talk about egoism and man, about the fact that egoism turns us, pushes us, spins us, and, in principle, pushes us into the abyss. Can an ordinary person reason like that or not?

Answer: If you explain all this to him all the time, he will eventually be able to see, on the one hand, the explanation, and on the other hand, the blows of fate.

Explanations must always be before his eyes. And he would not see them, read them, or anything. But the time comes, he gets blows, and then he suddenly sees. Or begins to search frantically: “What should I do?! How do I get rid of the problem?!” And then he begins to see, to listen.

Why Is Nature Punishing Us With Coronavirus?

Who Will Have To Pay The Bills?

259.01Question: There is speculation that future generations will pay for the coronavirus. In addition to debt, we leave them two huge problems: looking after us when our pensions are left without funding and solving the problems of climate change, which we did not solve and passed on to them. On top of that, we have limited investments in their health and education. In short, the next generation will feel bad. We have robbed our children and grandchildren.

But in principle, I still keep thinking about my children and grandchildren. Why does a person suddenly become disconnected from this? They will live in some kind of environmentally dirty, broken world, with a supply of nuclear weapons, whatever you want. We do not even think about what kind of future we have arranged for them.

Answer: Nobody thinks that he leaves it to his descendants. Why should I think about it? This is natural for a person!

Question: To not think about future generations?

Answer: No. This is his real face, Homo Sapiens. “Knowing man”!

Question: Is this what intelligence is about, to think only of yourself?

Answer: Of course. To snatch for yourself as much as possible. I live while I am alive. That is it, nothing else! “After us the deluge.”

We can do nothing with our nature; it is higher than us. Nothing! There is no natural desire in us to do something with ourselves for the sake of our descendants. We know that we are putting them right under nuclear bombs, climate problems, whatever.

Question: How does one start a dialogue with nature so that it gives us a feeling of both guilt and responsibility that we must do something for future generations?

Answer: This can only be done through the realization of the evil of our nature and the way to get out of it; is there still a way out? But humanity is not suffering enough to seek this way out.

Question: But what is the solution?

Answer: Only dissemination of Kabbalah, which talks about how to correct human nature, reveals all the ignominy, all the improbability of this nature, its horror! It reveals the emptiness in a person, so that he realizes that he needs to fill it.

Question: What is this emptiness revealed in?

Answer: In hopelessness.

Question: Is there no future? Does my nature allow me no future?

Answer: It will not allow you anything. A man is the most terrible creature.

Question: Then why did the Creator create us in this way?

Answer: In order for us to realize our evil and correct it, to ask Him for correction. And then we will become participants in our new, spiritual development.

Question: If He simply did it without our request, then we would receive everything simply for free and would not appreciate it? And here we do have to appreciate it?

Answer: We should achieve it. And then we will feel that we received the opportunity to work with this new sensation, with these new forces.

People should know this. People should understand that they are faced with a very serious task to correct their own nature. We can do this.
