Question: In his book Give and Take, psychologist and professor Adam Grant divides people into three groups: takers, givers, and matchers. “Givers like to give more than they get, paying attention to what others need. Takers like to get more than they give, seeing the world as a competitive place and primarily looking out for themselves. And matchers balance and give on a quid pro quo basis, willing to exchange favors but careful about not being exploited.”

What do you think about these three groups?

Answer: Most of all I like the matchers because they lead to contact, to mutual, good, kind contact. This is the most important thing. It is not about the fact that you can give away as much as you want. It will not do anything. It is the same with receiving if someone gives something to you.

Exchanging, however, causes mutuality, and by this you can correct a person, you can change both yourself and the other, and create communication between you; this is the most important thing. The goal is to create communication.

A giver will not do anything. On the contrary, he can cause hatred if he gives all the time. It does not mean anything.

Comment: So you are a realist. You give me something, I give you something? Exchange pleasantries.

My Response: Yes, but by this we teach each other that he can do the same thing that I do; by giving to him, I open myself in order to receive something from him. And so on. The most important thing is mutual exchange.

Question: Isn’t our world today built on this, “You scratch my back and I will scratch yours”?

Answer: The world is built on mutual exchange.

Question: Does it mean that you are satisfied with what is happening in the world today?

Answer: No. This does not satisfy me because the current exchange that exists in the world is only to take and not to give.

Question: What is the next stage after matching?

Answer: This is written in Kabbalah: mine is mine, yours is mine, and then yours is yours, and mine is yours.

Question: That is, you come to an almost impossible state. To something that is impossible to imagine: mine is yours and yours is yours, right?

Answer: Yes. Such relationships are the most correct ones that are justified by the upper nature, which is opposite to our nature. This is what we must come to. Together with this, a completely different space is revealed to us, an eternal world.

Everything Is Evaluated Not by Its Appearance at a Given Moment, but According to Its Measure of Development.

Everything in reality, good and bad, and even the most harmful in the world, has a right to exist and must not be destroyed and eradicated from the world. We must only mend and reform it…” (Baal HaSulam, The Writings of Baal HaSulam Volume One, “Peace in the World”).

We must treat everything that exists as something necessary for our lives. Nothing exists in vain, although sometimes it seems to us that nature is full of all kinds of pests in the sea, underground, everywhere and that it wouldn’t be harmful to get rid of them.

But with each passing day as we explore nature more and more, we begin to understand that everything that exists is created by necessity. And the wisdom of Kabbalah gives us an absolute understanding of this.

Every species of plant sprouts and every species of animal exists only due to necessity. The natural levels of the still, vegetative, animate, and human must live in mutual harmony and share in everything.

So there is nothing harmful on the face of the Earth. And if we see something harmful or bad in its relationship with us, then we need to us to understand that it exists so that through our correct attitude to nature we will bring ourselves to a state that makes it possible for us to see that everything that is found in this world is correct, true, and should exist.

Michael Laitman, On Quora: “How will the world compensate for the growing energy needs and resource consumption of developing nations like China and India when nations like the United States consume resources disproportionate to their populations?“

It is impossible to stop the struggle for natural resources used to produce raw materials. This struggle will lead to major problems such as imbalances between countries, and also wars. The extent to which our world lacks balance and equality is only now becoming apparent.

The balance between what we need and how much we can receive from the world is possible if the world will accept the altruistic law upon itself.

What is the altruistic law? It is a law present in nature, which human society is obligated to reach.

The countries of the world will then start sharing everything they have, including their production, raw materials, energy and information—equally for everyone, according to the population numbers, their culture, education and consumption, taking into consideration the conditions of the climate, and so on. In other words, only the realization of the fact that we are in a single global system and are thus obliged to treat everyone accordingly will bring us to balance in how we use the world’s natural and technological resources.

Question: UNESCO conducted a survey of 15,000 people from all over the world about what problems most concern the population of the planet. Young people under the age of 35 comprised 57% of the respondents.

It turned out that the problem that most worries humanity is global warming and the disappearance of species, both fauna and flora. Almost 60% of respondents talked about this. Second were conflicts and violence. Third was discrimination and inequality. And fourth was the lack of water, food, and shelter.

What do you think is the most important problem for humanity?

Answer: How to exist in a warm, kind, supportive, confident environment for us and our children. We need to understand how we can, if not control nature, then control ourselves in order to bring ourselves closer to nature.

Question: Then I will be fine and so will my neighbors, relatives, and everyone?

Answer: Sure. The most important thing is to find out the cause of the many conflicts that exist between us and between us and nature. The reason! And then we will know what the greatest danger to us is and what to do about it.

Question: What is the reason?

Answer: Our huge contradiction with each other, our huge egoism, which divides us, pushes us apart, sets us against each other, and does not allow us to gather and thus bring ourselves and the entire world around us into a balanced, good state.

There is nothing else. The only force that spoils everything in the world is human egoism. Let’s make sure that we know how to manage it.

You can see that if we walk away from somewhere, like Chernobyl, for example, then everything immediately calms down. There are no problems and nature blooms.

But if we could remove egoism from a person, there would be nothing left of him! So, we should not think about how to remove it, but how to correct it so that this force is positive, and not negative.

We see how a mother takes care of her child. That is, people can do this despite the fact that they are egoists, if they have love for another. So we just need to achieve love for our neighbor. That’s all.

Do not kill anything. On the contrary, add love to your neighbor. And then everything will be in order. We won’t want to destroy anything.

Question: If every person attains the meaning of life and becomes a rational person, then no one will be able to control people. Will the world’s elites allow this to happen?

Answer: It is not up to them. We are all under the governance of the upper force. It has control over us, not the elites.

Naturally, while we are in our egoistic state, the upper force does not manifest itself. It hides and controls us through the so-called elites. But this is all temporary. Humanity will gradually mature to a state where it will be forced to change itself, and then the role of the elites will finally collapse.

When the world is consumed by fire, inundated in floods, and crippled by a global plague, only one remedy can really help: union. Only our solidarity, our sense of mutual responsibility, can lift us above the impairments that nature has imposed on us. We may think that we must tackle each crisis separately, but we are wrong. The crises are all linked at the root, so if we cure the common root, we will resolve the crises.

It may seem odd that nature is striking us with physical punishments and we are to respond to them with emotional remedies such as bonding and mutual responsibility. Where is the connection between floods and love, for example?

It has already been scientifically proven that nature’s systems are all connected. There are countless scientific disciplines and interdisciplinary studies that research the interconnections and interdependencies among the parts of our global ecosystem, which is planet Earth, and even our solar system, the Milky Way Galaxy where we are situated in space, and ultimately the entire universe. Everything is connected, and everything affects everything else.

When a malfunction manifests, such as this year’s summer, when climate has clearly gone awry, we must examine not only the regional weather where an extreme event has happened, but everything else related to it. Eventually, we see that even local events such as severe hail storms are connected to everything else that’s going on in the world.

To find the cause of problems, we must find which element or elements in the system are dysfunctional. If we find them and correct them, the whole system will regain its balance and the butterfly effect that leads to the creation of cataclysms will not happen.

When we look at all of nature, there is only one such element whose actions are becoming increasingly incongruent with everything else: man, or more specifically—human behavior.

Particularly in recent decades, we have allowed our egos to run amok and demand whatever they want. We have enshrined carefree, careless, and mainly thoughtless behavior and resolutely rejected the very thought of accountability. As a result, instead of being free, we have been enslaved by our egos, which have destroyed our planet, killed millions of people and extinguished entire species. Ironically, in the name of freedom, we have denied the freedom of countless others, while we, too, have not become free; we have become our ego’s servants and we have ruined our world.

Now that our ruined world can no longer support us, it is falling apart, collapsing. We, who have been cutting the branch we have been sitting on, are about to fall with it. There is only one way to save ourselves from annihilation: to rein in our excessive egoism. If we become considerate and mutually responsible for one another, we will restore the balance we have denied nature, and nature’s restored balance will calm the storms. We have pushed nature to the edge; we have unleashed the storms upon ourselves, and we can restore balance and calm the world. For this, we only need to stop thinking only of ourselves, and start taking everyone into consideration.

In the News (“European Parliament overwhelmingly backs ban on caged animal farming”): “The European Parliament is calling for a ban on caged animal farming, after voting overwhelmingly in favour to end the practice.

“The idea originally came from a European Citizens’ Initiative that was started in September 2018, which has so far gathered nearly 1.4 million signatures in at least 18 member states in support of animal welfare.”

My Response: The European Parliament has nothing better to do. They are ready to turn into animals themselves. They are not far from it. I cannot imagine what else I can say about this! They have so many problems! Europe is decaying and running wild! And they do not see anything.

Question: Do you think that these are signs of the end of Europe?

Answer: This is a collapse! We have already been through all this in ancient Babylon.

Question: What should the parliament be like?

Answer: The European Parliament should think about correcting people and not about bringing animals closer to the human state.

We are at the final stage of the global correction, called the last generation, and therefore, we must awaken each other. Otherwise, nature will increase the pressure on us day after day to show that we are in a very serious and dangerous process.

We are spoiled and do not understand that a small change in nature is enough for us to start dying from hunger, scorching heat, and catastrophic floods.

We do not yet know what tests nature is preparing for us to teach us bit by bit. If it were simply to break us, it would be easy to do. But the Creator does not want that. He does everything to teach us.

Through corporeal adversity, He helps us discover through what internal changes we can rise above physical suffering. By building a spiritual network of connections on top of what is happening on the corporeal level, we will wake up more and more and reveal what is happening in the global system.

Fires, floods, and extreme heat are the reaction of nature to what is happening in the relations between people. And in order to put everything in order, it is necessary only to establish correct connections between us. The more we unite, the more we will soften the attitude of the Creator toward us and  manifest the same forms in a positive way.

Instead of flooding, we will get a lot of water for beneficial use, instead of fires, we will get warmth, and even viruses will become useful. We can make all phenomena favorable. Everything depends only on our attitude toward nature.

Question: There is “Pareto’s 80/20 Rule: This ‘universal truth’ about the imbalance of inputs and outputs is what became known as the Pareto principle, or the 80/20 rule. …The generalization became: 80% of results will come from just 20% of the action (Forbes).

Do you think that with the widespread knowledge of Kabbalah, it would be possible to influence the consciousness of 80% of people by changing that of 20%?

Answer: This percentage can be much lower, down to one percent. As it usually happens: one shepherd walks ahead of the herd and the whole flock follows him. So, it is possible.

The only problem is to create this dependency. Anyway, all the people will have to be taught the system of right connections so that they understand the idea of a leader and follow him for their own good. This requires very serious work in the team in order to unite them.
In this case, you can succeed very fast, especially if you understand the current state of humanity in any society or nation.

Whatever the percentage of the team, the most important thing is that all 100% of its participants understand the common goal, imagine that they benefit from the right interaction, and that their leaders really work at a very serious, objective, altruistic level, in pursuing the goal that is clear to everyone and is for their benefit.

If this can be brought to the entire collective, then there is no problem, one person can manage them all. They will be happy to obey him and unite around him because he will be considered the head while the rest form the body of this system.

Medium published my new article “Time to Be Responsible Adults”

Let’s face it, we’re egoists. We don’t like each other, and even worse, we think there’s nothing wrong with it. We start measuring our attitude toward others from the zero point. That is, feeling indifference toward others is our starting point, our zero, and from there we begin to judge: If I have some affection toward another person, it’s considered good. If I dislike a person, it is considered bad.

This attitude is what brought us to where we are now, and the more we continue with it, the more we accelerate our decline. This is true not only of the social level, where human relations are obviously the key factor, but it also applies to every realm. From wars through poverty to climate change, our negative attitude toward each other is the cause of our misfortunes. It is time for us to realize that through our egoistic, narcissistic attitude toward others, we are leading the world on a downward spiral. Now we must become responsible adults and conduct ourselves as such.

We have entered a new phase in our development. The singular system that we all comprise has become so entwined that we can no longer remain neutral. Everything we do that does not help all people and all things, hurts them, and therefore us.

Additionally, the time between our mistakes and their consequences is growing shorter. We have always been dependent on each other; we have always influenced each other through our positive or negative thoughts and actions. These days, this mutual dependence is becoming evident. It is absolute and there is nowhere to escape. This is why it is imperative that we become considerate, kind, and caring toward each other, since each of us affects all of us in everything we do. It may be unpleasant news, but it is not nearly as unpleasant as the consequences of our refusal to acknowledge reality. The 121°F in British Columbia and the floods in Western Europe are but the prelude. The future will be much worse unless we act.

I am not saying this to scare people. I am saying this to bring it to everyone’s attention, since there is still time for us to prevent the cataclysm. The more we talk about it and think about it, the easier it will be for us to reverse the trajectory.

When we look at the climate and the natural and manmade disasters happening around the world, they may indeed seem incurable. But we must remember that besides us, everything in nature is in perfect harmony with everything else. Where there is harmony, there is balance and such disasters as we’ve seen this summer do not happen. The only place where there is no harmony or balance is among us, in human society. In other words, the upheavals we are seeing merely reflect the upheaval unfolding among us. If we restore harmony among us, the only element off balance in existence will regain stability and the storm will subside.

This is why we must work so hard on nurturing kindness and caring toward each other. Since we’re all egoists, having a neutral stance gives the upper hand to negative forces, which then reflect on all levels of existence. To balance out our inherent negative attitude, we must create an equally powerful positive attitude. This is something we can do only if we all pull together and resolve to install love, kindness, and caring where there are currently hatred, egoism, and dislike.
