“Every adult in the world could get a Covid-19 vaccine if the wealth billionaires collected during the pandemic was taxed 99% once, according to an analysis published on Thursday by several groups that advocate for economic equity.

“This one-time tax on the world’s 2,690 billionaires could also cover $20,000 in cash paid to all unemployed workers, according to the analysis by Oxfam, the Fight Inequality Alliance, the Institute for Policy Studies and the Patriotic Millionaires.

“That tax would still leave the billionaires with $55bn more than they had before the pandemic, the analysis said.”

Question: Do you think it is okay to tax them 99%?

Answer: I think this is the right thing to do. There must be a border, a ceiling above which no person in the world can receive.

Question: And if he does earn it?

Answer: He would not receive it, it should not be like that.

Question: And who limits everything to him?

Answer: A law. A law that is adopted by the UN, an international court, or someone else in which, it is clear that if someone earned 100 billion in a year, then, suppose, he gets 100 million, and the rest goes to the general treasury.

Question: A person’s income should practically be limited by law?

Answer: Of course.

Question: Then what is the point of a person being a billionaire and striving for some kind of wealth, being the first in these magazines like Forbes, and so on?

Answer: He will still be in these magazines, he will work with his own money, but in the end it will be clear that he is doing this for the good of everyone. And this is a completely different matter. The money does not stay with him for nothing. He twists and twists it all the time, this is understandable. How much does he spend on himself? A couple of million a year. And all the rest goes back to production, and so on.

Question: Is it necessary for him to feel that all this will go to people, that he donates all this to good deeds?

Answer: And he is the manager! He is the manager of these businesses, honored, highly respected, and so on.

Question: Why is it not done now? Why can they not do this, just decide and limit people’s income?

Answer: Society is arranged in such a way that it cannot do it! And those people who have such means and connections are able to make sure that society does not get close to them, with these lawyers, courts, media, anything. Everything is bought. All of this is one.

Question: How can you get to them?

Answer: Make a revolution, my friend! In the heads, in the mind, in the heart. Otherwise, these revolutions really do not give anything. We see it.

Question: Do you think we are approaching this revolution?

Answer: We want it. I do not know to what extent this will be possible,

Question: What does a person need to do to make this revolution happen?

Answer: Dissemination of Kabbalah in the world. When people understand that there is no other way besides the one suggested by Kabbalah for the correction of the world, for changing a person and the world.

Question: There must be a change in man?

Answer: Changing the world means changing a person.

Question: Some well-known rabbis and sages were asked, “Why do you think so many Nobel Prize laureates and billionaires are Jews?”

Their first answer was because of anti-Semitism, Jews had to work twice or three times harder than others who received the prize. Another answer was that a person should study something every free minute that he has since this rule is part of Jewish tradition and has become part of our national genome. According to Forbes, in 2019 half of the ten richest billionaires have Jewish connections. They are Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Bernard Arnault, Michael Bloomberg, and Larry Page.

How would you answer the question “Why?”

Answer: As a Kabbalist I believe that it is actually their spiritual root which enables Jews to see, to feel internally, and to receive much greater and deeper information, although they may not be aware of it. I don’t think it is a matter of IQ.

The reason is that they receive knowledge from the general force of nature that surrounds us all and includes inside it all the laws and manages everything.

Comment: But still, if this is nature, if this is the general law, then it advances them not so that they should profit in business and become billionaires, etc. After all, this is not the reason for that.

My Response: It is not for that.

Comment: But they use it for this purpose.

My Response: They do indeed use it for this purpose and nature is responsible for it in order to advance all of humanity through them to where it spreads, to where it is headed and what it is attracted to. For them this feeling really leads them to achievements.

Question: So that they will lead the rest of humanity to such achievements?

Answer: Yes. In fact this is not the reason that our special connections with the force of nature were created, not to use them egotistically; but still it is through them that humanity also advances greatly. What would we do without Google today, without Facebook, etc.? There are a lot of Jews there.

Question: Why were they given such skills?

Answer: At the moment it is in order to advance humanity to a state in which you have everything and have nothing.

You have everything, but you are still limited by planet Earth. Why should you see what is happening in the Philippines or in South America now?

You already see it. And what’s next? You receive any kind of information through your cell phone. What’s next? A person needs to be filled eventually, since after all, we all move from one filling to another throughout history.

I think that it will all end and we will remain very poor, “robbed.”

Question: And this is the purpose of this whole process?

Answer: This is the purpose of this whole progress. It should bring us to a state in which we will not want to go anywhere.

Comment: I expect such a cry out that it is the Jews who have brought us to a dead end.

My Response: Of course. It is their mission, to lead humanity.

Question: Why should they lead humanity to a dead end, to emptiness?

Answer: From one dead end to another dead end, from one dead end to another dead end. This is actually how humanity advances, because it encounters its ego and looks for another way. It is like an robotic  vacuum cleaner that bumps into corners; so does humanity until it discovers: “That’s it, I am detached, there is no meaning in life. I refuse to crawl on the floor anymore. I need to ascend upward.”

When it comes to non-interference in inanimate, vegetative and animate nature, we say: “You can’t immerse your paws in nature, destroy forests, birds, animals, etc.; everything has to be done carefully, cautiously.”

And when it comes to human nature, we are weak in this regard and that is why we have to work with ourselves in some way. But no one wants that. That is the whole problem.

The science of Kabbalah does not speak about ecology, but about how to restore our balance with nature, since we are inflicting particular harm to the general, global homeostasis. And the most harmful object of nature is man.

But how can a person who thinks only about himself become an integral part of nature?

There are laws on the inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels that provide homeostasis, inner consent and harmony of all parts. A person does not have this. In order to bring a person to the conscious fulfillment of balance with nature, one needs to understand what it is and how to achieve it.

In order to get into balance with others, each person must take into account the desires of others, and they his. This is called the law of mutual guarantee, mutual consent.

In principle humanity would like to do this somehow. After all, all the laws we adopt seem to want to compensate for ignorance of the law of mutual guarantee, but this compensation is weak and one-sided, with distortions.

The fact is that the implementation of this law will provide humanity and all the other underlying layers of nature—inanimate, vegetative and animate—with complete balance. We must reach it.

Moreover, when we begin to achieve it, we will discover the laws of natural commutation. And then we will be able to make big breakthroughs in everything because we will understand how to properly organize the relationship between people on all levels—between spouses, parents and children, bosses and subordinates, subordinates among themselves, bosses among themselves, etc.

We will be able to clearly perceive, in accordance with nature, how to build these relationships.

My new article on Linkedin “Haiti – a Testimony to Humanity’s Apathy”

Nearly three months ago, on August 14, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. According to UN official data, more than 2,200 people died from the earthquake itself, more than 12,000 were injured, while 65 health facilities were damaged or destroyed. Two days later, tropical storm Grace unleashed torrential rains on the devastated island.

When Grace left, Haiti, the poorest country in Latin and Central America, and one of the poorest in the world, was left to fend for itself. The world quickly moved on to talk about more “important” crises to the West, such as forest fires and flash floods, from which hardly anyone died and the damages are mainly to property.

Haiti, on the other hand, is still reeling and grieving. It has no means to recover. It is left there as a testimony to humanity’s apathy.

The problem is that we are not raised to care. We look at other people and see that they have a different skin color, different customs, a different mentality, and we cannot sympathize with them because of it. It shouldn’t be this way, but this is how we are brought up.

As a result, news channels may report disasters that occur outside of Europe or the US, but covering relief efforts, harnessing the world’s sympathy, telling the stories of the victims the way it’s done after every hurricane or forest fire, these are far beyond the interest of the West. There is simply no interest in the lives of people from a different culture.

These disasters are a wake-up call. They are here precisely in order to awaken empathy in us, and we don’t hear the call. The more we ignore our fellow human beings, who are suffering from natural, and even worse, from manmade catastrophes, the more severe these events will become, until we learn.

Whether we feel it or not, whether we want to or not, humanity is one organism. We are all connected. When we are indifferent, careless, or even cruel toward one part of humanity, all of humanity suffers, including the powerful who are careless. In today’s world, there is no getting away from interconnectedness.

Our apathy reminds me of an allegory I once read. The Jerusalem Talmud (Nedarim, 9:4) describes people’s ignorance of their interconnectedness with a clever allegory: “[Suppose] one is cutting meat, and the knife descends into his hand; would he consider avenging his hand and cutting his other hand for cutting the first? So is this matter … the rule is that one does not take revenge against one’s neighbor, for it is as though he is taking revenge against his own body.”

Eventually, we will have to become considerate and caring toward each other. We are dependent on each other and there is nothing we can do about it.

Just as the pandemic has taught us that infection anywhere is infection everywhere, so it is with all our sorrows and joys. The faster we become aware of it and conduct ourselves accordingly, the sooner we will turn humanity’s negative trajectory around. The more we stall, the worse will be nature’s “persuasion efforts” until we understand.

Comment: They say that the world is facing a severe shortage of electricity. What skeptics have warned about is happening: the energy of wind turbines and solar panels cannot replace traditional sources.

In 2035, New York was going to switch to electric cars, but they calculated that if electric cars start charging in the evening, there will not be enough electricity for the entire metropolis.

Alternative energy turned out to be so temperamental that last winter in Texas, blades of wind turbines froze due to the cold. There were no winds blowing over the Netherlands and Denmark this autumn. In Germany, solar panels were blanketed with snow. All this is unpredictable.

There has already been talk that gas itself is not so harmful and that nuclear energy is also green energy. They believe that everything will remain: gas, oil, and coal.

My Response: There will never be enough energy. Maybe we should consider reducing consumption and preventing the manufacture of such a large number of electric vehicles and cars in general. We need to set a task for us to reduce consumption.

First, people should not work so much. Three days a week is enough instead of five.

No one needs all this! This does not add happiness to people and we see this absolutely clearly; there is no need for any proof.

Let’s make sure that people have more time for rest, walking, sports, family, communication, conversations, discussions among themselves, and so on. It is so that people identify this as something necessary. We need to charge ourselves with green energy! This is what we are missing.

Question: Do you think that even nuclear energy can work safely if there is such an attitude in people?

Answer: Of course. It is a blessing that nuclear energy has been discovered. Now we only need to improve it and, on the other hand, reduce consumption so that there will be enough of it for everything.

Comment: You just said that man should spend more time with his family, read more, and communicate more. I remember that a long time ago we kept saying that humanity would come to this. But it has not happened yet.

My Response: No, we cannot run to a quiet, calm, balanced life. We will always be pulled by some illusionary goals and ideals. As a result, hoarding will destroy us.

Question: How can we stop?

Answer: There is no way.

Question: Then what are you demanding if it is impossible?

Answer: Recognition of evil, of the fact that you cannot stop.

Comment: When man realizes that he cannot stop, that he is such a creature, and there is this evil of hoarding in him…

My Response: This is already recognition of evil. Then it will be possible to think about how to come out of this.

This is how man will come to green energy within himself, i.e., to balance. We just need to balance everything that is in man.

Thirty years ago, a friend of mine got into the green energy business and tried to pull me into it. I asked him what for, it isn’t serious. He said, “You have no idea how much money is being poured into it. Everyone wants in on it, politicians, financiers, businesspeople, the lot.” He was right, of course. Yet, no one wants to promote green energy in order to save the planet, but only to swell up their pockets even more. The declarations, therefore, remain in the assembly hall where they are stated, necessary actions are ignored, and the climate waits for no one: It will keep deteriorating.

This week in Glasgow, Scotland, the 26th UN Climate Change Conference is taking place. Officially, it aims to “bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.” In reality, the countries plan to do the exact opposite. This year’s UN Production Gap Report, which tracks the discrepancy between governments’ planned fossil fuel production and actual global production levels, states the following: “Despite increased climate ambitions and net-zero commitments, governments still plan to produce more than double the amount of fossil fuels in 2030 than what would be consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C [2.7°F].”

Energy sources and technologies do change, but not according to what is best for the planet. It changes according to the interests of politicians and money moguls, and it never benefits the planet or the majority of its inhabitants, namely all of us.

Since the climate waits for no one, eventually, it will catch up with us. Earth is a closed system, and in a closed system, there are consequences to exploitation: it hurts the abuser as well as the abused.

I don’t know when or at what cost, but eventually, we will all have to realize that we cannot take beyond what we need. We cannot keep exploiting Earth selfishly and thoughtlessly because it will turn against us.

Earth is like a submarine: there is only so much oxygen on board. If some crew members take more than their quota, the rest will not have enough, they will die, and the submarine will sink along with those who exceeded their quota.

We need constant reminders that we are one system, and we are all dependent on each other. We need to genuinely grasp that selfishness hurts us just as being exploitative hurts others. If we constantly remind ourselves that we are interdependent, we will behave with more consideration, and we will avoid the punitive impact of climate change.

The other option is to keep working as the UN’s Production Gap Report states that we are planning to work, and suffer nature’s unforgiving response. I hope we wise up in time because everyone will pay the price for this mistake.

The world is now in conditions that did not exist in the time of Ben Gurion or Herzl: frustration, helplessness, growing global crisis, climate and technological one, crisis of everything man-made.

We must understand why everything we have done turns to our detriment and how we can change the course of history that steadily brings us closer to the abyss.

Usually such situations lead to wars. If it were not for nuclear weapons, there would already be a war in the world. However, precisely the fact that many countries possess such powerful weapons serves as a restriction.

The only one solution is to work with the force of bestowal and unity if we do not want to come to total destruction. Every sane person understands that war is not an option. Therefore, there is only one thing left: think about how we can compel ourselves and all countries and nations to soften our egoism and come closer to each other. After all, we see that any other path leads to death.

We have a solution that comes from nature itself, which purposely leads us to a dead end in order to leave us no other choice but connection. And first of all, we need to unite the people of Israel.

This movement for connection is unlike anything that has happened before. First, we come to it out of hopelessness—nature obliges us to it. Second, it is unique because of the result that we want to see from this connection. Nature will forcefully bring us to a different kind of coexistence with nature.

You can disagree with this and consider it naive, but in the end life will compel every person to change their attitude to these words. At the same time, perception will change, they will hear what they could not hear before, they will understand what they did not understand before, and we will move forward.

There will be no peace in the world if the people of Israel do not reach the correct connection above all disagreements among people so that love will cover all crimes. If we do this, then all the nations of the world will follow our example and recognize that there is something to learn from the people of Israel, namely, the law of love your neighbor as yourself.

Question: The changes in the world today require the emergence of innovative leaders. Experts say that business will develop under increasingly growing uncertainty.

Leaders will have to make breakthroughs themselves, which means to drastically change their state of mind, their values, and their actions.

Scientists interviewed a large number of investors and business managers and have come with several key characteristics that such leaders need to have, which are: the ability to predict, to lead others, to encourage, to establish collaborative relations, and to trust others. These are the five attributes that a revolutionary leader should have. How can one become a leader who is both revolutionary but also establishes collaborative relations and reliable processes, who also encourages and leads others who follow him?

Answer: It is impossible to raise such a leader. He has to be born like this. We can only teach and fine tune someone’s attributes, but all these aspects must basically be innate.

Comment: But there are no such people.

My Response: Why not? There are such people, they just need some fine tuning.

Question: Is it possible to recognize them?

Answer: There are many state institutions that gradually raise such people on different levels. This means that a leader advances and reaches a position of a regional manager, or a manager of a commercial union, and thus advances until he rises and reaches the summit as a very special person.

Question: Leaders don’t dictate conditions, instead they regulate, invoke, and guide changes. Why is this important?

Answer: Because one should not give orders. Nothing works by giving orders. You should simply establish the right conditions so that your subordinates will understand the common task and create it on their own.

Comment: Leaders should listen to others. This enables them to assess the situation and to be the first where there are new opportunities.

My Response: Yes, you need to teach your subordinates to take initiative that is aimed at the goal correctly. This means that they should understand and know all that, and carry it out, but according to their vision.

You cannot take the place of your subordinates and all their deputies and everyone else. You must not. Every minister has ten deputies and each of them has ten more assistants and so on. You cannot take their job and do something.

Comment: Leaders should be enthusiastic about the goal and then they can establish a collaborative network faster than any abstract strategic plans.

My Response: Yes, this is actually what a leader should engage in.

Comment: Innovative leaders see and encourage the potential of other people.

My Response: Indeed.

Question: What is a real leader and what is the future leader?

Answer: It is a leader who teaches all his subordinates to be above him. He knows all his drawbacks and knows what his abilities are. He invests in all his subordinates in order to be in the center of a big good group for the time being. This is a true leader who creates a group and the group creates him.

Question: What will happen if humanity perishes before Kabbalists fulfill their destiny?

Answer: No. We are in a system called nature. This system is absolute and universal. We are within a network of forces that control us and lead us to a pre-set goal.

This goal and all the stages that we must go through are already, as it were, realized, only we must introduce ourselves into these stages and exist in them alternately, and rise to different levels. The steps themselves and the final state (complete correction) are already prepared.

Therefore, there can be no destruction, but there can be great suffering that will make us voluntarily, with the right choice, with our freewill, go toward the goal of creation, and not prompted by the little sufferings that we are experiencing now.

So, you can be calm, nothing will happen to humanity. It will be obliged to fulfill its program.

As the world prepares for the 2021 Glasgow Climate Change Conference, more and more data indicate that human efforts, assuming there have been efforts, have been insufficient, at best. While world leaders spread declarations galore about curbing emissions of greenhouse gases, the reality is the opposite. The UN Production Gap Report tracks the discrepancy between governments’ planned fossil fuel production and actual global production levels. This year’s report reveals that “despite increased climate ambitions and net-zero commitments, governments still plan to produce more than double the amount of fossil fuels in 2030 than what would be consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C [2.7°F].”

However, even if governments did intend to meet their commitments, it would not reverse climate change. If we compare the amount of greenhouse gases that humanity produces to the amount emitted by volcanic eruptions, forest fires, and the accelerated thawing of the permafrost in Alaska, Greenland, Canada and Siberia, it will be clear that nature is headed for a rapid climate change with or without our “help.”

Climate change is not the only crisis that humanity is facing. There are crises in every area of human engagement: International tensions are rising; religious extremism is increasing; racial and cultural tensions are dividing countries from within; and the global economy is teetering on the brink of stagflation. If this is not enough, the tenacious coronavirus is still disrupting lives and economic recovery the world over, supply chains are breaking, leading to shortages in gas, food, and other staples, and natural disasters are intensifying in frequency and ferocity due to climate change. Clearly, we need to stop focusing on specific problems, and start thinking more systemically.

Our world is built like a pyramid. At the base of the pyramid is the mineral level, above it is the flora, above which is the fauna, and man stands at the top of the pyramid. We are not part of the animal kingdom because while our bodies are similar to that of other primates, our minds enable us to reflect on our past, our future, and make long-term plans for ourselves and for the planet.

However, despite our superior mind, we are not “above” the system; we are a part of it. As such, we affect all the levels below us. Therefore, any malfunction on the top, human level, “trickles down” to the entire pyramid and spoils the other levels, too.

Now it is easy to see that the problem lies squarely with humanity. Moreover, since the problems encompass every realm of human engagement, then clearly, curbing gas emissions will not solve anything. If we want to fix the world, we need to fix humanity.

When we examine humanity, each person has unique skills and traits. In themselves, these characteristics are not problems but advantages. The diversity of human thoughts, approaches, cultures, ideas, and beliefs creates a tapestry whose threads weave into a powerful entity that could, theoretically, achieve anything. Therefore, the problem is not in the people, but in how they connect with one another.

Currently, the threads in the tapestry of humanity are trying to tear each other up. Instead of strengthening, supporting, and emboldening each other, we are vying for supremacy and power. Instead of working to make the fabric as strong and as beautiful as possible, we are trying to be the strongest thread in the sheet. Is it any wonder that we are exhausted? Is it any wonder that we are sickened by the endless struggles and ill-will that surround us? Is it any wonder that depression is the most common illness of our time? And finally, is it any wonder that our world, our only home, is ruined? Now, I think we know what we really need to focus on when we come to save our planet.
