Question: We have gotten so used to living with the Internet, and it has only been around for a total of 25 years. It was created in 1990, designed for the employees of the secret European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), and then it began to spread throughout the world.

Why did it develop so rapidly and how has this already encompassed the whole world?

Answer: First, this is a very convenient communications system between people that doesn’t obligate anyone to anything; this is the most important thing: to nobody and for nothing!

Second is the speed. The moment I press a button and send you a letter, you receive it and can respond immediately. I remember when I corresponded with my parents in Canada, it was a problem to write a letter, wait for an answer, and so forth. But now this  just takes a few minutes.

In addition, the Internet is with both audio and video, an illusion of direct communication, while you and I are at two ends of the Earth we see each other, talk, we only don’t smell each other. All forms of communication between us already exist; we send each other all kinds of contracts, lectures, decrees, orders, photographs, films, anything possible.

Today we cannot get along without this means of communication. Our world is always a reflection of the system of relationships that manifests in people, and at present we have achieved an integral, connected world.

Question: Does this mean that an inner demand has appeared in us?

Answer: Certainly! Necessarily! This is an inner demand of a person! This is necessary and imperative for us.

The Internet was established to show people that they have a means for direct communication with everyone, but they don’t know how to communicate correctly. This is the biggest problem, and the Internet reveals it. Look at what it is filled with and what it does.

It externally reveals all of the dirt of the inner states of a person so we can see who we are! We gradually accumulate this “garbage” and sometimes we look at it, are shocked, and decide that it is necessary to do something about it; it is necessary to clean our “stables.”

Spiritual Anti-Matter

Question: What is so bad about everyone yearning to get the greatest pleasure, and why are there so many problems and so much suffering in our world?

Answer: The problem is that each of us receives pleasure at the expense of someone else. By enjoying myself, I take pleasure away from others. I steal from them. I limit them somehow. This is what arouses war between people. Besides this, we were created with an evil, egoistic nature, and we want more pleasure specifically from having more than others. Enjoyment at the expense of others is a much greater pleasure. It is enough to see how we behave on the highway, cutting each other off and not giving each other the right of way. Is there really anyone for whom another minute would determine his life? Not at all, we simply get pleasure from moving ahead of everyone. This is our evil inclination. There is nothing bad about yearning to enjoy oneself. It is typical of any animal. However, a person specifically wants to have pleasure at the expense of others, rising above them and trampling them, and this is what is destroying our society. So the world has come to such a crisis.

Question: But there are many people who sacrifice themselves for the good of society.

Answer: They also are acting from their desire to enjoy. In fact, no one thinks about others. They themselves simply don’t understand the true motivation of their actions. If we were to take away the pleasure that humane people get from helping others, they couldn’t even make the smallest movement. If a mother were suddenly to stop feeling pleasure from her baby, he would die of starvation.

All matter works only according to this single principle. However, there is more matter, which is called “spiritual,” that is not felt by us and that acts according to another principle, bestowal, not reception. Spirituality is based upon this, giving pleasure and not receiving pleasure. This is antimatter, an upside-down world.

The spiritual world exists, and even ordinary science is discovering some borderline phenomena, but we are not ready to catch them with the help of our instruments. However, a person can attain a feeling of the upper world, of antimatter, and it is specifically with this that the wisdom of Kabbalah is involved.

Through special exercises, we can transform our matter into new matter, a desire to bestow, instead of a desire to receive. Then, we can enjoy bestowal, instead of reception.

Maximum Pleasure With Minimum Investment

Question: From the point of view of Kabbalah, what kind of force drives all of creation? What compels everything to go around?

Answer: Only two forces exist in the world. One force is the desire for pleasure, the desire to fulfill oneself, and the second force is the desire to bestow. The desire to bestow belongs to the Creator.

The desire for pleasure is inherent in every creature, beginning from the smallest atomic particle, through every molecule, to all of the objects that exist in the world: still, vegetative, animate, and human. The desire for pleasure is the substance of creation, and it can be in thought or in physical substance. The goal is the preservation of life, making everything in existence more comfortable and pleasant. Consciously or unconsciously, at every moment, we strive for this goal.

The energy of pleasure is what drives matter. If matter comes in contact with the power of Light, with the life energy, it feels balanced, full, and in the most pleasant and best state.

Our desire works according to a single, permanent formula: maximum pleasure with minimum effort. However, each one receives pleasure according to his nature and from different sources. One wants to fill his belly, a second the mind, and a third the emotions.

There are three types of material fulfillment that also characterize animals: food, sex, and family, and there are another three human fulfillments: wealth, honor, and knowledge. It doesn’t make a difference what a person does. He is driven solely by pleasure. We have no possibility of behaving otherwise.

Everyone strives to receive more pleasure or to avoid suffering. This law lies at the foundation of our substance. That is how we are born, and that is how we exist. All of us are egoists who want to enjoy every moment of our existence, in the past, present and future.

How much does a person enjoy at the expense of others? It depends on his education, fear of punishment, and the influence of the environment. Relying on this, he makes a calculation. Is it worthwhile to steal to be rich? Perhaps, one could even murder in order to gain paradise, like the Jihadists imagine.

No matter what, pleasure is always found at the base of the calculation, at the base of all actions. As it is said, a human being is not alone in acting this way; in general all of creation acts this way. According to the formula of seeking maximal pleasure with minimum investment, it is possible to compute the behavior of every part of creation.

Question: Why do we want to exploit each other and are willing to trample on others just so it will be better for us?

Answer: Because otherwise we don’t feel that we use the world. Only through exploiting others can we succeed; this is our egoistic nature.

To succeed otherwise, where we help others, is the nature of the upper world, a higher level, the upper dimension. We are not able to do this because we act only within our evil nature, from egoistic desire. As it is written: “I created the Evil Inclination”; this is what is in us.

Question: All my life I was taught that we all use each other, and so it is worthwhile to learn to behave like this. And now you ask me to completely over turn all my prior education. How can I manage to do this if this is completely illogical?

Answer: It is not illogical, but try to learn without changing anything in your life. Just study! And suddenly you will discover that you open a door to a whole new world that doesn’t work according to the principle of reception, but according to the law of bestowal.

Then you suddenly reveal unlimited power and possibilities. After all, by exploiting others a person is always limited because each wants to exploit the others. But when we work with everyone in mutual bestowal, we are unlimited.

And then we go out into space called Olam Ein Sof, the world of infinity, a perfect and eternal world, because nobody steals and nobody takes from the other, but on the contrary, complements the deficiencies of others.

This is an absolutely different form than material existence; it is spiritual material. This is called spiritual, but in fact this is our substance and we can attain this, then life is revealed in front of us in its perfection.

The Torah, “Exodus,” 32:33 – 32:34: And the Lord said to Moses: “Whoever has sinned against Me, him I will erase from My book!” And now go, lead the people to [the place] of which I have spoken to you. Behold My angel will go before you. But on the day I make an accounting [of sins upon them], I will bring their sin to account against them.”

Question: What is the meaning of: “I will bring their sin to account against them?”

Answer: The nation is not corrected yet, so all of its heavy egoistic attributes, where the strongest sparks are, ascend from the bottom of the ego. Because, when there is receiving for one’s self, the most egoistic desires draw the greatest Light, the greatest pleasure, and it is recorded there.

The expression, “I will bring their sin to account against them,” refers directly to our times. Now, when the era of the last generation (the generation of the correction) begins, all the greatest, ugliest, most terrible egoistic attributes are revealed.

What is more, humanity will justify them and accept them so naturally that it will not understand why anything should be corrected at all! Why? What for? It will be very difficult for us to understand that this is actually what stands in our way. This is, of course, a great problem that will rise in the future.

Humanity will sink into eternal chaos, totally unjustified wars, and terrible afflictions. All of the most unnatural deviations will become the norm. It is the revelation of the ego on the level of “dog-eat-dog.”

However, we can reach this period with the recognition of our nature. If we draw the upper Light unto us, which will affect it, we will begin to feel how evil it is and will begin to correct it since it will be unbearable to exist in these attributes.

But we should realize in what sense we have not satiated nature’s desire and why it is putting such great pressure us. Only by gathering ourselves correctly into an integral society will we be able to integrate with nature in harmony and cease to be so opposite from it.

My Comment: The inevitable natural development of the egoism is its expansion until it is like a cancer that devours itself. At the last moment before death occurs the awareness of death and the force to give up devouring the surrounding society. This is the “path of suffering.”

But there is also the “path of Light,” when, due to the dissemination of the wisdom of Kabbalah, under the influence of the Upper Light, the Ohr HaMakif (the Surrounding Light), the awareness that our world is basically a stepping stone to the upper world takes place, and we have no need for suffering and we consciously aspire to advance to the goal of our development that was established from the start.

Question: Baal HaSulam, the greatest Kabbalist of the 20^th century, wrote in one of his letters about the possibility of a Third World War and even a fourth. What do the Kabbalists think? Will this happen or not?

Answer: The Kabbalists see the general system of management, the possibilities that are ahead for us. They see that freedom of choice exists for every person and for all of humanity.

There are two ways by which we move through all kinds of states: the way of suffering and the way of Torah (Light).

If we want to go according to the usual route of physical life, we think only about that and don’t invest effort in lifting ourselves above our world so this world will begin to bring us into an even greater blind alley ultimately compelling us to ascend.

However, before we decide to begin our ascent, we would experience intense suffering, including World Wars Three and Four, and other terrible situations. We see that nothing is changing for the better in the meantime.

Question: In other words, World Wars Three and Four are latent in the higher plan, and now everything depends on how much we, humans, are consciously included in the program of nature.

Answer: Not only this, latent in the program of nature are ecological problems, hunger, climactic blows, earthquakes, etc. All of this is for the purpose of shaking us so that we would feel a need for the next level of development, but all of this is through the beastly perception of the physical body.

However, if we want to raise ourselves spiritually, we combine this with completely different forces because we would begin to influence the system of management itself! Our lowest system won’t obligate us to go out to the next level. Rather, we ourselves voluntarily ascend to it.

Then, our participation would seem different, and the world would become wonderful. We would become integrated wisely in its management and go forward. We would understand why. This would change our lives completely and our attitude toward them.

A movement like this is called movement according to the ray of Light. The Light is ascent above our beastly existence. It is a desire to approach something higher.

The system of management is found above me. This is what I must understand, knowing that I must be integrated into it. The approach toward this is called the movement of the Light. Every person must go through this, and those who have not gone through it will go through it.

End of Unconscious Development

Question: What is the difference between unconscious and conscious development?

Answer: All this time we have advanced unconsciously, under the negative pressure that pushes us from behind. Nature forced us to advance, pushed us in the back by sending afflictions, unsatisfied desires, and a constant sensation of deficiency.

For a long time now, we have lost hope to see good things in the future; however, the pressure from behind is so huge that it forces us to move ahead. When we look forward and behind, we see only minuses and know beforehand that tomorrow won’t bring us any good. But we hope that tomorrow there will be less sufferings than today. That is already a good thing for us.

This is the tendency of the current developmental stage. We understand that the world degrades and sinks lower and lower, thus losing its prior values. There is nothing ahead of us that might cheer us up, and yet, we move forward because our current situation is unbearable.

It is an insignificant and negative form of development, leading to a further deterioration. Just look at the problems arising in Europe, the Far and Middle East, North and South America, Russia, anywhere in the world.

There is no country where it would be possible to hide from problems. Rest assured that there won’t be a single quiet place on the face of earth soon. Tranquility and peace won’t be available even in the most remote island in the ocean.

It is clear that we are moving in the direction of evil. This explains why the modern generation doesn’t want to have a family and children. We are still at the beginning of this process, but the tendency is already obvious. Anything that happens to us is meant to force us to acknowledge that we must do something about it.

Kabbalah teaches us that if we refuse pursuing the goal of the creation voluntarily, by a good path, we will ll have to advance under duress, as we do now.

The goal that nature set for us is beyond this universe, above our nature. Humanity must develop unlimitedly, beyond the boundaries of time and space. Our current form of existence on the face of Earth is temporary and very limited form.

After a certain stage of development, our properties will be changed. Our organs of perception through which we perceive this material world will be altered. Due to new qualities, we’ll see a different picture of life: an endless world and ourselves in it who have unlimited opportunities, either in time or space.

In order to transition from today’s material picture to a new, unlimited state, we need to undergo cardinal internal changes.

My Comment: There is no attribute that is opposite from matter at the basis of antimatter, but rather an opposite desire, egoism versus altruism and attraction versus rejection. This is because these two phenomena stem from one desire to fulfill itself in the best possible way and to fill itself to become more stable, etc.

The real anti-world is found only in our anti-attributes. After al, our world is also felt only in our attributes, and if we don’t exist, neither does our world exist!  The antimatter studied by physicists is antimatter according to their definition and not real antimatter.

The method of correcting the world will be revealed in order to raise the world to the level of mutual unity and the revelation of the Creator.
