Recognize The Power of Nature Over Us

712.03The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks of a system of interconnections between all parts of the universe. Today the world has exhausted its straightforward selfish development where we wanted to study and work in order to achieve wealth, power, and other material values.

Now all these systems are gradually being depleted. And it turns out that we need to look for what nature offers instead of them. We have always worked within the framework of our nature and cannot get away from it. Therefore, we need to understand what its form is now that is manifesting in the world.

Humanity is beginning to comprehend the integral closed whole form of the world. Today, not only Kabbalah, but all other sciences support this attitude toward the world. The only problem is human egoism, which does not agree with this, wants to crush everything under itself, and does not understand that the unfolding integral system is in contradiction with it. Now it must comply with this system according to the law of similarity of properties.

Humanity will be obliged to obey this law. Nature will bend us all, as they say, to oblige. But the whole point is, in what way? Either by realizing its integrity or by suffering.

We need to realize that nature is global and integral, and therefore cannot be broken. We will not break it anyway, but will only destroy the natural environment closest to us, and this will cause us irreparable damage, even harm.

We must recognize the power of nature over us, study it, and act in its likeness, as today, looking at it we invent various devices. Look at what robotics we are creating! Whatever we do, we learn from nature, rather than pushing our understanding of the world. We do not understand it; we ourselves are derivatives of this world.

Egoism is an inert disagreement with the perfection of nature, which is above us, and we ourselves do not understand what forces, connections, laws it controls us with.

Do We Need To Develop The Ego?

600.02Question: We need to develop the ego as much as possible in order to attain the Creator. But what if a person is not an egoist?

Answer: We do not need to develop the ego. This is totally wrong. The ego will develop by itself.

We do not need to worry about becoming wicked. On the contrary, we need to try and be good, and then we will become wicked because increasingly greater negative attributes will begin to appear in us so that we can correct them.

On the other hand, if I do not succeed in this correction, I will not be given more negative attributes because I cannot cope with what I already have.

Question: If we compare the ego to a nerve in our tooth without which the tooth cannot live, then if we compare Kabbalists to dentists, do they have to heal the aching tooth or remove it?

Answer: You cannot remove it. We will still need to correct the ego and nothing else will help us. We will simply suffer from a “toothache” much longer.

What Distinguishes A Man From An Animal

761.2Question: Why does man in comparison with animals receive most of information through his vision? What is the reason for it?

Answer: The fact is that man is not much different in this than animals. The only thing that distinguishes him from them is an increased desire to reveal, see, realize, and perceive. And this desire is constantly developing in us.

As the saying goes: ”A one-day-old calf can be called a bull. But a one-day-old human is not capable of anything.” It takes years for him to develop to be human. This is a huge difference between them.

Gradually, we have developed such a desire, such an egoism, that lets us explore the world around us, ourselves, and then the Creator.

Happiness Pill

962.2Comment: Natalia Volskaya writes to you: “Why are we arranged in such a way? If someone fills his apartment to the ceiling with newspapers, we call him crazy. If a woman lives in a trailer full of cats, we call her ridiculous. Yet, when people pathologically accumulate such sums of money that they throw an entire nation into poverty, we put them on the cover of a magazine and pretend that this is a role model.”

My Response: Because this is the way it is. Should I imitate the cat owner? A person should see some kind of example in front of him. But what examples can I give humanity in order for it to learn from them?

Question: Is this why I give examples of these billionaires and rich people?

Answer: Of course, to make it clear to everyone. A book called “How I earned my first billion” should be in demand. I am sure it exists out there somewhere.

Comment: There are many such books. Is this the face of humanity?

My Response: After all, this is a desire. We cannot get away from our desire, from the desire to be fulfilled, to satisfy our beloved egoism. This poor thing suffers all the time.

Question: Is this the most natural fulfillment? You are free if you have money, you are actually happy if you have money and so on, right? Does this mantra work?

Answer: This is how we are arranged. Yes.

Question: What could it be replaced with? Or does it not need to be replaced with anything? Will humanity continue to move toward the search for this fulfillment?

Answer: If you invent a happiness pill, then you will replace it.

Question: What is your happiness pill like?

Answer: It must make me feel happy. What difference does it make to me what color it will be or whether it will be square or in drops?

Comment: Then for me it would be nice not to pay attention to anything, to be indifferent to all annoyances.

My Response: But this is different for everyone! It does not matter. Someone, on the contrary, wants to be in search, to envy everyone, to aspire for something, and so on.

Question: Do we need an individual “pill” for everyone if it were be possible to invent it?

Answer: Yes. To satisfy this desire for happiness, for fulfillment, for knowledge, for power, for what my egoism wants.

Question: If we sum it up, what will fulfill a person after all? What will he come to?

Answer: He will not be fulfilled. Never and in no way! Egoism is a spiritual force, you cannot satisfy and fill it with any corporeal fulfillments.

Question: Then what can fulfill it?

Answer: Love. This is a universal thing. You do not need to name anything else.

A person should feel that he needs to love someone and feel this feeling that fulfills him, feel that he fulfills his beloved—the Creator, humanity, it does not matter what and how. We do not need anything else.

Question: Will humanity come to this in one way or another?

Answer: It will begin to come closer to it ultimately. It will see by trial and error that nothing fulfills it. There is really nothing to be fulfilled with. There will be a huge abyss of unfolding emptiness! Then awareness will gradually appear in humanity: “So what should we do? What is the purpose?”

Question: Will this state called love then come gradually?

Answer: Yes. Everything is already written, everything is prepared. What is left is just to reach it.

Element Of Nature That Requires Correction

707Comment: Numerous experiments show how much a person who looks after plants influences them with his thoughts.

My Response: A person influences not only plants and animals with his thoughts, but even stones. We just cannot examine it yet.

There is such absolute interconnection and such absolute interaction between all parts of creation that if we saw this network of forces, we would find that only we humans are a negative, harmful element in this system of forces.

Neither inanimate, vegetative, or animate forms of matter have freewill, there is no egoism in them. They exist according to the laws that nature has embedded in them. Humans, however, thanks to their freewill and their egoism, become the only harmful parts of nature.

Question: Where is the freedom of will of a person here? Animals act on the basis of instincts and people according to the will to receive, to use others.

Answer: Freewill begins today when we become convinced that our previous path was flawed. At the same time, the desire for something higher is revealed in us, the desire to go beyond this world, to rise above it. This “higher” should reveal itself to us.

Kabbalah helps in this. This is the only way we can correct ourselves.

Intrigues Of Egoism

595.04Question: Today, a great number of women do not feel very happy. Why?

Answer: This is because of the breakdown of the family. The fact is that the main thing for a woman is to feel her home, everyday lifestyle, children, family, husband, her kitchen, everything of her own. Without this, the rest of the world becomes very unsettled, uncomfortable, and ill-fitted for her. She looks at everything from her corner, from her territory.

Therefore, now when because of the growing egoism the family breaks down, when men and women too are unable to confide in their partner and lose each other, women suffer most of all. Although they try to hide this, to suppress loneliness with all sorts of activities or by having children and raising them alone, it is still a very sad picture.

Question: The fact that today a woman is so unhappy and cannot find herself in the family, is this a random process?

Answer: No, of course not! Over the millennia our egoism has developed and come to a state where it cannot tolerate anyone close to it.

Children cannot tolerate parents, parents cannot tolerate children, spouses cannot get along with each other. A person cannot get along with himself, he needs either drugs or sedatives to tolerate himself. This is a big problem.

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

We are worse than animals. An animal will stop if it senses danger, but a human being cannot stop. The #ego is stronger than we are. It is given to us from above, and it commands us. In turn, we dutifully obey its commands instead of following the animal survival instinct.
And in doing so, we’re destroying the #planet.

Destruction Of A Social Unit

962.3Question: A woman is naturally oriented to the family and wants to preserve it. She needs a sense of belonging to a man and a family, and for this she is ready to sacrifice a lot. Why can’t a modern man today give a woman this sense of belonging?

Answer: Ego does not allow that: “I do not want to be associated with anyone!”

That is, I can be associated with someone, but only when it is convenient for me, when it is pleasant, when I want to be served and satisfied. But the moment I don’t need it, let there be no woman, no family, no one by my side. This is how egoism behaves.

In such states, when he cannot tolerate being forced to do something, so as not to be indebted to anyone, it is impossible to keep the family, because the family is a partnership and first of all, mutual concessions to each other.

And to yield to each other means to force oneself into doing that. I don’t want this! I cannot go for this, my ego does not allow it. And so it turns out that today’s family is falling apart. And even more terrible times lie ahead.

People will try to find some kind of replacement for this, some kind of ersatz, getting together and breaking up. Children will leave their parents early and become independent sooner. The state and society will take on some additional functions.

That is, we will see the gradual destruction of the very foundation, the cell of humanity, the cell of our society, something that even animals do not have. After all, in animals the family is preserved as much as it is necessary for the procreation of the species.

And today when the state provides assistance to single mothers or single fathers, they see no reason to keep the family together.

The Twofold Work Of Egoism

963.1When a baby is born into this world, it starts to become familiar with it. A baby does not know what people have invented, what systems, banks, healthcare, and so on.

However, a newborn animal cub understands everything happening around him. He knows: this is mom, this is dad, they are with me in the herd, this is mine, and these are enemies, strangers, and so on.

For man, however, everything is very complicated. Our egoism works both “for” and “against” us. On one hand, I want to come closer to others so that I can enjoy them and use them for my own sake.

On the other hand, I try to stay away from them and not give them the opportunity to rule over me. We are constantly in such opposite relationships with each other, rejection and attraction. And we do not know how to balance them.

There are many varied theories on this topic and, naturally, as egoism develops, both theories and practices change. Growing egoism gradually reaches a certain boundary that we must blast and move to a new level.

There are people who reach this level faster than others. Therefore, they are eager to make a revolution. And there are those who say: “So what? What is the matter? Nothing special is happening.”

That is, society is not homogeneous. It is not a pack that understands that this is how we live and that’s it. Everyone has a different rate of development of egoism. In addition, all people are different in their way of life, outlook on life, character, in their manifestations. That is why the structure of our social system is very confusing.

The Difference Between The Human Degree And The Rest

423.01Question: People have long been interested in the establishment of countries. There are nine widely accepted theories on the subject. Kabbalah considers this process to be the development of the desire to receive. What is this process?

Answer: I am neither a political scientist nor an expert in formation of states. But when I listen to scientists, I see how abstruse they are: each has his own theories, and there are many of these theories, scientists are full of them.

Kabbalah explains everything much more simply. The matter of creation is the desire to enjoy, that is, an egoistic desire.

In the inanimate, vegetative, and animal world, this desire manifests itself in a primitive form, in the preservation of its existence. Crystals, minerals, and metals strive to preserve their structure, like the crystal lattice or the structure of atoms or molecules.

A plant, naturally, strives to survive in order to exist according to the principle of the best fit for its desire to enjoy, to be filled with life. While animal organisms also have the ability to move, to reproduce in a specific way, because their egoism requires such realization.

As for a person, this manifests itself in him in envy, jealousy, suffering in comparing himself with others as he acquires new desires through; absorbs them by looking at others. That is, he has an infinite ability to develop due to an inflow of extraneous desires. Because of jealousy and envy, he always finds new goals for himself.

Therefore, the human level is very different from others. For example, inanimate nature, which was formed after the Big Bang and the further expansion of the universe, develops according to certain laws, and there are no problems with that.

Vegetative nature exists, dies, gets reborn, and so it has been changing for millions of years. In animate nature, too, nothing special happens; we know the habits and characters of animals. True, different animals and even their various types have relatively different characters, but it’s nothing like a person who goes through significant changes throughout his life.

People build, not natural, but some incomprehensible combinations between themselves. This is not just a family, as in the animal world where a pair give birth to cubs, bring them up, and such is the purpose of their existence.

Animals live according to the instinctive law of nature, which is expressed without fail, in the construction of their specific groupings or larger flocks. But all this, ruled by instinct, never changes. The leaders change, but the lifestyle itself is set for each type of animal.

Not so for a person. As his egoism changes, so does what he creates around him. Once people lived like animals in groups. Perhaps they had common children, common wives, and common husbands.

With the manifestation of greater egoism, it began to be shared. But when the need to support each other, protect themselves from wild animals, or go hunting together disappeared, people began to separate from each other and create their own households. This is how, gradually, specialties got established: one is a shoemaker, a blacksmith, and so on.

That is, various groups and clans were formed, a very complex system of relationships between people was established, lawyers, economists and other specialists were needed.

All this existed even in the ancient world to protect the system of interconnections: courts, army, tax collectors and everything else.

The human body, which is constantly developing due to its internal egoism, requires a new, increasingly complex and confusing organization from us that is incomprehensible to a common person.
