Goal of a Group Working on Uniting

Question: A team is a group of people united by a single goal and mission.

People create sports teams to win games, business teams to make money, and spiritual teams to strengthen in faith. And for teams working on uniting, the goal and the means are the same. How can it be?

Answer: If we create a team whose goal is to unite, the question arises: Is unification a goal or only a means to achieve the goal?

Many relate to unification not as a goal in and of itself. For instance, when creating teams, unity is necessary to successfully perform certain tasks. Therefore, in our case, we also need to determine what the goal is.

We want to achieve unity in which feel the next level of human existence, where a special principle of similarity to an integral and unified nature is inherent in the unification.

If we reach a state of unification to strive for a single goal, ready to sacrifice our private egoistic goals, then we will rise above ourselves, above our egoism, and begin to feel the next level of nature—integral, global, and unified.

In principle, this is the purpose of our development. We create a group in order to learn how to unite, to reach a state where all members will feel as a single whole.

Question: Can one say that the goal is a good, harmonious life in family, in society? After all, it’s hard for a person to understand what this new level is.

Answer: Of course, because that is more understandable and closer to everyone. That is, the goal is communication skills. If we learn how to interact correctly with others, we will have good lives.

But people cannot say whether they are ready or not. They will never be ready for spiritual change. Never ever! They will not succeed. But life will make them do it. I think it will still happen in this generation.

Question: From your lectures, I understand that there is an animalistic, egoistic nature of a person. There is also the upper force that leads us to the development of our altruistic nature. However, is it possible to attain this force if we do not experience altruism in action?

Answer: It is very difficult, practically impossible. In order to actually realize a connection with the upper force, you need a group. A small group, preferably of ten people, who will engage in the same development as you.

In principle, you need to develop integral qualities within yourself in order to feel what is outside of you. If you do this in a group together with your own kind, then in the correct connection with each other, you will find exactly in your ten those qualities that begin to detect the external force, that is, the Creator, and you reveal Him in the connection between you.

Question: What you do is also a certain way of serving people, where you give them the opportunity to come into contact with the method of Kabbalah. In other words, this is a kind of altruistic path, and it is not limited to the ten. Does it mean that it does not have to be ten people? Can it also be humanity?

Answer: This is still called a ten, whether it is humanity or several people.

Question: As part of our path of knowledge, is one of the points that we are striving to reach some kind of connection with the absolute through understanding Him completely?

Answer: Yes. This is the result of studying and correctly applying your forces in order to fully connect with the upper force.

Question: Is the other point to which we aim finding harmony?

Answer: Attaining harmony is based on the constant revelation that we are in the opposite state to it. However, the yearning should be precisely for harmony, to include all the forces, all the qualities, all the thoughts into one unified whole.

Question: If a person advancing along his path of knowledge came across one or another Kabbalistic form of truth, then is his further service associated with creating a space where other people can also get acquainted with it?

Answer: Of course. This is the general progress, the general correction of the world, its general advancement toward the goal. And the goal is an integral connection between us by the good forces.

Question: The pleasure of connection does not seem very tempting to us. Why? According to the pyramid of desires, it should be the opposite.

When you say that everyone will sit in circles and socialize, it sounds like a joke. For example, in anecdotes about heaven and hell, it is said that in hell it is good, life is raging there, and in paradise everything is so pastoral, phlegmatic: calm, bliss, “spiritual.” Why is this so?

Answer: This is not our idea of heaven and hell. From the point of view of Kabbalah, paradise is the universal connection of mankind and its attainment of the great, unified force of nature, called Shechina. That is what it says: “The righteous sit (that is, they are in a state of Katnut [smallness]) and, being united, enjoy the Shechina (the radiance of unity, perfection, universality of nature).” This is the highest measure of pleasure that creation can experience.

I do not try to lure anyone to me. Let people live and enjoy what they have.

But I want to at least express the true point of view that a person can understand while still living in this world. It is within his power. And I offer it to him.

Question: Is this specially made so by nature that people are not lured by such offers?

Answer: Sure. So that we consciously come to this, ask, demand, and invest in revealing the truth.

Question: What is patience in Kabbalistic terms?

Question: Should schools of integral education that will be opened by your students be named after you?

Answer: Why on earth? First of all, I didn’t invent anything new, so I’m not supposed to do anything here. Don’t attribute anything to me.

Our organization is named after my teacher RABASH. Our center is located on a street named after him in Petach Tikva, Israel. I don’t need anything else.

I will teach a couple of thousand people the Kabbalistic method, and they will go further. And personally, I will disappear into them. That’s my feeling.

Question: Eventually, after forcing us to unite through a virus, would we need a method of connection, or is it enough for us to unite under the blows?

Answer: No, that’s not enough. Under the blows, you can only advance at the beginning when you are brought to the methodology. Afterward you would want to move yourself.

Therefore, movement without blows will become your permanent state. Moreover, it will not occur under the influence of blows, but under the influence of attraction to future good states—from your aspiration forward.

Question: Is Israel responsible for what is going on in the world? What should Israel do to correct the situation?

Answer: Israel is every person in the world who aspires to be balanced with nature, to the similarity of human society with the general system of nature.

Hence a group of people arose, gathered as one nation that broke away from ancient Babylon and went on a journey around the world.

Question: Should we be aggressive about criticism in relation to the study of Kabbalah?

Answer: Why be aggressive? I don’t do that. I often hear various accusations, insults, and slights against kabbalists and Kabbalah from people. Well, what can you do with a person if they do not understand what you are talking about?
