The role of the Israeli nation as the Creator’s servants, as a kingdom of priests, is to be the ones who explain the method, and that is possible only by educating people. We must explain things so that a person will understand that he has two options: the path of the Torah and the path of suffering, which means that there is a good way and a bad way. There are two roads before you leading to one goal, and it is up to you which road you take.

If you are not ready, you undoubtedly will take the wrong road. When you get on this road, it doesn’t seem bad at all, but actually very attractive as any path to hell where at first ice cream and gifts are given out. Thus, the desire to receive pulls you, and you are drawn gladly in that direction.

However, once you get on that road, there is no way out. The presents disappear and blows begin to hit you. So, you have no choice but to advance.

There is, however, another road that doesn’t seem so attractive at first, especially for your ego. It even repels you since it demands that you connect to others and care about them.

Our egoistic nature rejects this road internally. However, if you advance along the right road in the way of “I shall hasten it” (Ahishena), you receive assistance from Above, which is called the Light that Reforms.

To the extent that you summon this Light, you actually advance nicely. The Light is ready to help you at any given moment and to turn all your bad feelings into good ones. Everything depends only on your efforts. The Light that Reforms is the power in the connection between people if they want to ascend above their desire to receive and to attain bestowal.

You cannot do that along the wrong road but only along the right road that Light always guides you through all the points toward the goal, and, although you don’t understand and don’t know how to get there, one thing is clear: you must connect more strongly to others.

Our method is meant to bring about a change in every person and not in governments or the upper echelons of power in the state or in the world. The changes from above will lead to nothing; it can only be changed from below.

Our whole development is from the bottom up because we belong to the third stage of development. After the descent of the worlds from the top down and the history of human development in this world, humanity is starting its ascent from the bottom up.

In any case, in any condition, and at any stage, changes always take place from the bottom up. Therefore, we reach the ordinary person and bring about changes in him, and he brings about changes in others by his connection to them. The Upper Light finds a place through which it can bestow. So we continue upward.

I hope to see you confident and happy, and that you know how to approach the public with joy since all the weapons are in your hands and with them you can destroy all the evil in the world.

Question: Why is it easier for some people to connect to dissemination and more difficult for others?

Answer: It doesn’t mean anything. There are those who are like the patriarchs and there are those who are like the sons. The patriarchs actually have no Light of Hochma. All the Light is revealed by the sons but on the level of the patriarchs.

I add the desires of AHP but the Light of Hassadim is revealed in AHP, while the Light of Hochma is revealed in GE. But how can GE receive the Light of Hochma? After all, they are vessels of bestowal?

I take the deficiencies from AHP and raise them to GE and then I raise them higher to the upper. It turns out that I receive from the upper the Light that is dressed in the deficiencies of the lower. But I receive these deficiencies and suffer because of them; I wanted to give them everything, “the cow wants to nurse the calf more than the calf wants to suckle.”

I have great deficiencies from the AHP and even if my source is the desires of GE, I can receive all the Light that is meant for AHP and even much more. This means that the firstborn receives twice as much. We have to learn how to do that.

We are now implementing an activity that corrects the Shevirah (shattering), something that has never happened in all of history. Just imagine how important this work is. The shattering, the error of Adam HaRishon with the Tree of Knowledge, all of this happened in order to mix the desires and to make it possible for the receptive vessels to approach the goal of creation.

For these are the true desires. The desire to receive is the foundation of creation. And in these days we are implementing the first action in the entire creation, in the descent of the worlds from above to below and in the creation of this world, this entire universe, in the entire evolution of the creature on the face of the earth and the entire history of humanity. Only now begins the correction of the shattering and all of the expansion from above to below.

We are at the turning point from which we begin to rise again from below to above. And this elevation is not done through the desires of Galgalta ve Eynaim themselves, for they were already corrected at the time of the First Temple. And now they are beginning to correct the Kelim (the desires) of the AHP.

The moment we correct our AHP that belongs to Galgalta ve Eynaim, meaning the physical people of Israel, then the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel will be discovered. After that, the new work in partnership with them will have already begun.

The work of Israel in a complete Kli composed of GE and AHP, desires to bestow and to receive, advancing together towards the goal of correction, is giving all of one’s time in the right direction. GE must approach the method of correction such that together with the AHP we can filter and clarify those desires and characteristics which are preferable to use to advance on the middle line.

AHP is the left line, GE is the right line, and they must be connected such that the advancement will be optimal, in the middle line, with the right mutual connection between them. The sign of this optimal advancement is world peace, when there won’t be wars, problems, and suffering.

When the world will calm down externally, then we will see how much this state is worthy of revealing the higher power. The Creator cannot be revealed in conditions of conflict between nations and in enmity between people. He is not ready to be revealed in hatred, for there is no equivalence to His characteristics of peace, perfection, and love.

So those terrible events that we see in the world, we must see as our field of work. And this is called (Genesis 27:27) “a field which the Lord hath blessed” upon which we must go out to work. In every situation, in every moment, in every place in the world, it is necessary to choose His approach.

And so we will see how in all the extremities of the earth more and more of our friends appear who organize the right work regarding the method of connection and who bring peace and unity to the world in which the Creator can be discovered. Only the revelation of the Creator to the creatures can bring true peace and perfection. Therefore, all of our work is only in disseminating this idea.

Negative facts brought to the supporters of the regime cannot be digested by them and will not change their views. By virtue of these features of our consciousness, the existence of independent media and the Internet does not solve the problem.

“People perceive information that does not constitute a threat to their worldview and filter out all the rest. It is incredibly difficult for politicians and peoples to accept a dead end of the chosen path since changing a course undermines the worldview system.

“Having realized that the chosen political course does not lead to the expected results, the country often does not change, but on the contrary, intensifies the realization of the initial program, which worsens the economic situation in the country and leads to a tightening of the wrong political course. A mental trap brings a country into a vicious circle.”

My Comment: Although opposite to its course, the correct decision can be accepted only when it is viewed objectively. This is possible only in a workshop which is organized according to the principles of integral education, in a circle where people are equal and cancel themselves. They must be ready for full connection for the sake of revealing unity (the Upper Force) within it, adhering to the Upper Force through similarity of properties (mutual bestowal) in order to create contentment in it.

The feeling of the external world was given to us on purpose in order to develop the sense of knowing others. I can use others egoistically by bringing them closer to me or distancing them depending on their benefit to me. I can also use others not according to my own benefit but according to their benefit and thus change myself and use myself.

One time the friend is important to me and I change everything inside me that needs to be changed in order to make him feel better, and another time I am important and I bend the friend in my direction in my own benefit.

The struggle is actually between these two perceptions: who is more important and who determines everything. This struggle is very important to me because it helps me understand what I lack in order to build the sense for knowing others.

The others are in fact the Creator, and this whole picture—this world and the upper worlds, which are seemingly external to me—are only tools to discover the Creator. At first we don’t have such tools but only their initial form, the point in the heart. However, by working in the group, with the friends, in dissemination, in the larger world, I build this sense.

One time I imagine that everything is inside me and that all these parts are depicted as external to me, and that it is my illusion. If I step through this perception, I correct it and begin to establish the sense of bestowal, the sense of feeling others.

And again, I imagine that there is “I” and there is “they” who are external to me. My egoistic desire grows and lets me know that I have to take care of myself at their expense. This means that I have to remain constant and the others change for my own benefit.

I imagine things this way, and at another time, I imagine them another way, and thus I determine my ascents and descents and I develop additional senses. When it begins to work, it is called Shechina, a sense by which I perceive the one who dwells (Shochen, which has the same root in Hebrew), the Creator. I reveal Him as this sense develops, and I feel and understand Him.

Therefore, the most important engagement in this world, which is the reason that we are on this planet, is to develop the sense of recognizing the good and the evil during our lifetime, to duplicate and to improve it, and by it, to attain the sense of recognizing the Creator.

All this is attained by working with the public according by which I can accurately measure how far I have advanced towards this goal, towards the development of the vessels, the senses for the revelation of the Creator, which means to the revelation of the attribute of love and bestowal. To the extent that the group and all the world that is external to me become more important to me than myself, so that I see them as constant and myself as changing with regards to them, I can estimate and measure my advancement.

“Introduction to The Book of Zohar, “Night of the Bride,” Item 131: And so it says, ‘And several myriads of angels of destruction are with him. And he (the angel Domeh) stands by the door of Gehinnom. This is because the thoughts that he brings to a person are several myriad without end. And all of these are by the door of Gehinnom.’

Question: What types of desires are called “angels of destruction”?

Answer: The angels of destruction are the desires that remove me from the environment. After all, I have no other work. The choice of the person, all of his work, is only to arrange an environment and invest as much as possible in it so that the environment will help him to give contentment to the Creator. This is mutual work and is expressed in his praying for the friends so that they will be able to give contentment to the Creator through his efforts.

This means that a closed system is created. The prayer is from him and the Kelim (vessels) are theirs. This puts him in a position where he is greater than they are since he is responsible for them, their “father and mother.” So he reaches repentance first, for this truly raises him to the level of Abba ve Ima (AVI) (father and mother ) in regard to ZON (which is the Kli, vessel, the deficiency of the others, of the environment).

And this is how each one must act: In his deficiency in regard to others, he should feel himself as small, like a mother who bows down towards her baby to feel what he is lacking. Her deficiency must be greater so that she will be able to feel his particular deficiency in her general deficiency. She must then be greater in order to bestow to him. This is how we work.

From here it follows that we don’t have anything more important than work with the collective, with the public.

Question: Where can we get 500 billion dollars for advertising the method of connection?

Answer: We must discuss this question seriously and clarify how to do this. But it is clear that we don’t have a choice, and everyone in our group or in the world in general who wants to perceive the Creator, must be involved in advertising Him.

This is precisely what we are doing; we want to advertise the Creator. If we require 500 billion dollars for this, we must find it. We must advertise the Creator: His plan, His purpose, His goal.

Besides this, it is not written anywhere that we must convince people. We don’t need to convince anyone and it is also impossible. We only need to open up the Light that Reforms for them and it will return them to the good!

But you are thinking about how to be wiser and more eloquent to convince them through argument. There is no need for this at all! It is only necessary to open up this infusion with the Light so that it will begin to drip into them through a workshop or some additional activities. You will see how they will begin to wait for this.

Question: Am I interpreting this correctly, that the Light that Reforms is a feeling of warmth, love, and trust within the connection between us?

Answer: This is the Upper Light, everything is in it. We don’t know how it acts. We only know that it reforms. This is a higher force that influences the person in a manner that he doesn’t understand and which changes him.

We pay attention, sometimes we are also changed. A period of confusion comes in which I don’t understand and I feel that I am in a fog, in some kind of blurry state; and after that suddenly it begins to become clear to me and an understanding is revealed, a new feeling.

I work it, live in it for some time, and after that I am again confused and in a fog so that I can again rise to an even higher state, to understand and to feel even more and to connect things even more, to see how everything works. That is how the influence of the Light that Reforms is discovered.

Question: But we are talking about a science.

Answer: This is not an abstract theory; rather, this is a true science and wisdom of life that explains how it is necessary to live and through this, to rise higher and higher all the time.

Question: When I work as a guide for people and open the faucet with Light, do I have some kind of criterion according to which I can evaluate my success?

Answer: The criterion for success is that you begin to understand and feel more. You understand that a stronger connection with others is required for you. You see the realization of the goal of creation in the whole world and in the general public more and more.

Rav Kook’s Letters: Even the lowest person, when offered to do kindness with the whole world, which includes everything infinitely, will powerfully rejoice to do good.

All the laziness and the weakness is only a result of lack of faith in the greatness of the good that can be done to the whole universe when engaging in the Torah, the Mitzvot, the work and the purity of our measures. This is depicted by understanding the spiritual unity, which means knowing that the light of the soul of every individual is connected to the general soul of the whole existence.

Every person should say that the world was created for him. When a person does his work he generates a change in all the other souls. It is because we all belong to and are included in one mechanism, and when a person corrects his connection with the whole world, he brings the parts of his soul back to him and thus helps others connect.

It is like fishnet that was thrown into the sea during the shattering. As a result of the shattering, I am left with only a point in the heart, and my other parts dispersed in the water and remain external to me. I was born this way; it is a fact.  Now I need to take the fishnet out and to gather my lost parts and connect them back to me.

By working with the public, I connect my parts back to me on one hand, and on the other hand, I give each and everyone the spiritual force to start working with his own net. It seems that I speak to strangers but really it is me in different forms.

When I draw people to this idea, it turns out that I bring the parts of my soul closer to me. All of humanity are parts of my soul. But except for this, my part, each one has his own personality. By attracting my parts, I convey the spiritual force to them by which they can work in their own circle, with their own world.

It turns out that when I pull this net out of the water, I awaken all the parts of my soul that were connected to this net, and each one pulls out his own net and clarifies its content because everyone has his own world. Thus we understand that working with the public enables us to connect the parts of my soul; the quantity becomes quality and so each one advances toward implementing the establishment of the ten Sefirot of his own soul.
