Question: When we feel no taste in spiritual work, it is as if we are in the shadow of the Creator. He creates this shadow, but are we supposed to find magnificence even within the shadow? How does a Kabbalist lift himself out of this state?
Answer: The Creator lifts a person. The person initiates this action from the Creator by proceeding with faith above reason.
Question: How can we influence the Creator to create the power of elevation within the group?
Answer: You must pray. You must ask. Lift your friends and they will lift you. Together you will all ascend to the Creator.

Question: In corporeal life we feel tastes through our senses. Where do we feel spiritual tastes? What does the taste of the Torah and the taste of the commandments mean? When you bestow, you get used to it. You really like it even if it is bestowing for the sake of receiving.
Answer: We receive and bestow in our spiritual actions just as we do in the corporeal world. So we should pay attention to this and ask for the ability to carry it out.
Question: Is this some kind of data bank that is constantly accumulating and we return to it, add to it, our taste increases, and so we grow?
Answer: Yes.

Where do we begin to correct the collective soul if we do not know the overall function of this system, cannot see its gears, meaning the individual souls, and do not yet understand the role of our own “gear” in this mechanism?
We need to find the general formula, and we will be able to determine all the components from it.
Therefore, we are required to go through many states, and in each of them there will be some unknown. When we connect all these states, all the unknowns, into one system, we will be able to find the key parameter on which the entire result depends.
In other words, everything ultimately depends on the proper connection because this machine needs nothing else. If we can identify this key parameter—the main secret of the system—everyone will find peace and achieve total unity and harmony that will allow them to continue indefinitely.

Question: What is a group? After all, groups are different. There are groups of people with a point in the heart. They know about Kabbalah, and I enjoy talking to them and interacting with them. And there are people with whom I just have friendly relations. Is this also a group?
Answer: A Kabbalistic group is a group that preferably consists of ten people, who, together with you, are striving for such a connection that the Creator will be revealed between you.
It has nothing to do with other groups. That is, you must organize relationships between you that are similar to the qualities of the Creator. Then the Creator will reveal Himself according to the law of equivalence of form in your relationships with your friends. That is it.
And all sorts of fabrications—some other group or something else—is all nonsense. They only distract you, and you will achieve nothing here or there.

Question: How can we tell people about the wisdom of Kabbalah without mentioning this word? How can we explain the importance of uniting and the importance of connection between us?
Answer: We observe this in the nature around us; it is one single mechanism and all parts of it are completely interconnected. This can be seen in examples of ecology, climate, and everything that exists around us. Only the human being breaks this relationship. I think everyone will agree with this.
In nature, there is a single force called the Creator that unites everything. We must reveal it. It can be revealed only to the degree to which we will be capable of sensing the entire integral system. The Creator is pushing us toward that. He causes all problems in the world so we would unwillingly want to attain Him.
Precisely in our time, we must reveal Kabbalah. The gathering of tens is the shortest path to the attainment of the Creator in the minimal degree inside every ten. In this mini-laboratory we begin to study Him.
After that, as a result of our spiritual development, we will be able to attain the entire system of nature and its governance. The wisdom of Kabbalah is engaged in the study and revelation of the common force of nature, the Creator.

This means that vitality is called “light” and “pleasure,” and pleasure is spirituality. It is a rule that there is no light without a Kli (vessel), meaning there is no such thing as pleasure without clothing. For this reason, the whole difference is not in the pleasure, called “light,” but in the clothing, meaning in the Kli, since there is a clothing of falsehood, and clothing of truth (Rabash, Letter No. 12b).
Question: How do we in the ten measure whether we are in mutual connection with the Creator to gradually reveal ourselves and bestow to Him?
Answer: We need to check what we derive pleasure from. If our pleasures come from false clothing, we are still in an incorrect contact with the light of the Torah.
But if we have already reached a contact where the clothing of truth begins, we have reached the goal and can rise more and more in the clothing of spiritual holiness.
Question: What kind of pleasure can we receive from the Creator in active unification in the ten to give Him the proper measure?
Answer: The pleasure of uniting with each other and organizing a group with a common opinion: to reveal the Creator and show our love for Him.

The correct Kli of the ten is formed when ten friends want to unite all their desires, goals, and intentions for the sake of the Creator.
We need to strive to get closer to the Creator so that He can be revealed to us as much as possible, and we can use His properties and His power. In this case, we will have the quality of bestowal and become like Him.
Question: How should the ten repay the Creator for the true reward of adhesion with Him?
Answer: By wanting to be like the Creator.

Every day of the Sukkot holiday ends with a festive meal where we await the arrival of the “guest of honor”—the highest quality named after one of the forefathers. Each day a new quality arrives; in total there are seven qualities, seven forefathers.
Every quality basically emerges from Keter, from Ein Sof, and we allow it to develop and reveal itself at the expense of the properties that are lower in relation to it. In this way we come to the complete structure of the soul.
First we clarify all ten Sefirot, i.e., the forces acting in the soul. Now we must try to collect all these Sefirot together in order to see how each subsequent Sefira emerges as a result of combining all the previous ones that gave birth to it, and exists thanks to them.
We teach how all the forces or qualities are incorporated in one another and thanks to their desire for correction, in the end they all reveal all of them.
Initially everything was concealed in the primordial forces, and then it is revealed.
And the correction on the day dedicated to Joseph includes all the corrections that occurred before him. This is how it is actually revealed. All the Ushpizin, the honored guests, ultimately became one whole.
