“The Daggers In Our Tongues Are Killing Us” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “The Daggers in Our Tongues Are Killing Us

We shouldn’t be surprised that while we are approaching the conclusion of Operation Guardian of the Walls in the south, a new front is gradually being opened in the north. We may not like it, and Hezbollah and Hamas are indeed terrorist organizations, but the whole world stands behind them. They enjoy the nations’ support not because they are fighting for the Palestinians, but because they are fighting against Israel, which the whole world hates. We can change how the world feels about us, but to do that, we must change how we feel about each other.

Whenever we hate each other, we summon enemies against us. This has always been the case with the people of Israel. When the Talmud describes the reasons that caused the downfall of the First Temple, for example, it writes that the Jews would “eat and drink with one another,” but they were so spiteful that they would “stab each other with the daggers in their tongues” (Yoma 9b).

If you go on any social media platform in Hebrew, any news outlet, or read any newspaper, you will find just that: daggers in people’s tongues, freely stabbing their dissenters for the “crime” of disputing them. Since we are repeating the conduct of the past, we are bringing on ourselves the cataclysms of the past.

However, things don’t have to be this way. The opposite trajectory works just as well: When we care for one another, we win the favor of the world. Describing how the nations felt about Jews while they were united, around the end of the 3rd century BCE, the book Sifrey Devarim (Item 354) elaborates on the three pilgrimages, which were festive marches to Jerusalem to celebrate and congregate three times a year. According to the book, gentiles would “go up to Jerusalem and see Israel … and say, ‘It is becoming to cling only to this nation.’”

Even infamous antisemites, such as Henry Ford, lamented that the Jews no longer set an example of a role model society, from which they would like to learn, if they only had the right example. In his virulent composition, The International Jew: The World’s Foremost Problem, Ford asserts, “Modern reformers, who are constructing model social systems on paper, would do well to look into the social system under which the early Jews were organized.”

There is a clear synchrony between the way we relate to one another and the way the nations relate to us. Currently, we could not relate to one another worse. Accordingly, the nations cannot stand us and side with our enemies, however immoral they themselves may be.

If we want peace, we must make peace with one another. If we want the love of the world, we must love one another. This has always been the case with the Jewish people, and until we accept it and change our relation to each other, missiles will continue to rain down on our people.

Under Protection From Above

963.6It has been another difficult day in the life of Israel. It is not enough that we have to fight a war on the front line, against missiles aimed at us.

Now the war has broken out right inside our home, dispelling the illusions that we know how to act and keep the situation under control. In fact, we do not draw the right conclusions about the current state: where it comes from and why it occurs.

We are already used to the fact that the entire world is against us, but we do not solve this problem, we do not feel that it depends on the unity of the people. We must finally understand the source of this centuries-old hatred and how to correct it. Yet, we again want to put a temporary patch to continue in the old way. We hope that the problem will resolve itself or we do not think that it is possible to solve it at all. Meanwhile, our opponents are getting even stronger and more skilled.

We need to understand the principles of the founding of the State of Israel, of the unification of the people. All the natural foundations on which other nations are based do not work here. After all, we do not come from the same father and mother, from the same ethnic root, like all other nations; rather, we were assembled from different nationalities. Therefore, there can be no natural unity between us. We need to connect above nature, but we do not want to.

Our connection must take place above our roots because there are the seventy different roots in us of the nations of the world existing on earth. We need to connect all of them together within one nation. After all, our nation was gathered from the natives of ancient Babylon, and we are the physical and spiritual consequence of this assembly.

Therefore, our connection can be implemented only on the principles of “They helped every one his friend” and “Love your neighbor as yourself” that are laid down in the Torah. If we do not enshrine them in our foundation, then as we develop, we become more and more separated and we will not be able to exist in this form.

Safety must be provided for us from above, from the Creator. To the extent that we unite, even if only a little, we will suddenly feel what strength, safety, and wisdom we are acquiring, which will convince even our enemies of our right to this land. In that case, they will even come to us and be happy to join us.

All conflicts have only one reason: the fact that we do not fulfill our purpose. No matter what claims are made to us by different groups, nations, and governments, in fact, behind all the words there is only one claim that we are not fulfilling our duty to the entire world, which is to bring it to unification.

There is only one solution: to understand quickly what the historical mission of the Jewish people is. Then we will understand our role in this geographical place, in the land of Israel. From all this, we will understand that only connection between us for the sake of fulfilling our historical mission, that is, to be an example of how it is possible to connect above egoism, will make us the light for all the nations.

Nature pushes us by the latest events and awakens us to think about our destiny. If our hearts are deaf to its calls, it puts us between life and death and forces us to find a solution.

This issue should be at the top of the agenda and put up for public discussion. Otherwise, the situation will become aggravated again and again and get worse and worse.

There will be a respite for a while, but then the conflict will return with a new force. After all, we have created a country as if we want unity, peace, and connection in it, but we do not want to come to this. It turns out that other nations who found themselves together with us in this country are opposed to it and hate us, and at the same time live next to us.

Imagine that you let a couple of your enemies into your apartment. Would it be possible to live in such a house, or will you always be in fear and tension? It is impossible to establish order in such a country, and none of the politicians have any plan for how to resolve this conflict.

Time after time, it will escalate further. Yet, the Creator still gives us some time to think and start acting. However, we are not moving in the right direction, toward the connection of the people, which is the only place for us to draw strength from, as it is written in our sources.

Connection should be not just in words, but in thoughts, in awareness, in understanding of our mission, our common goal. Then it will be a true correction of the people of Israel, and through it, the correction of the entire world, which is also in a difficult situation with the pandemic. There have already been times in history when a smallpox epidemic claimed the lives of half of the European population. Do not wait for such disasters.

The situation in Israel is such that everyone remains with their own opinion and there is no agreement. We are not even trying to reach a consensus. On the contrary, we will find more and more differences between us that do not allow us to unite. But at the same time, we will look for a way to connect above all the trends and opinions, and that is where it will be a true unity.

We should not hope that we will understand each other and feel each other and in this way we will unite. Everyone should rise above himself, not so as to connect one opinion with another, but to rise above all of them and there find a point of connection between all of us.

Such a unity will eradicate all external threats because there will be the upper force in it. The Creator gathered us from seventy sources, human roots, and therefore we cannot find a connection and understanding between us. Only by rising to our special and single root can we succeed and connect in it.

To do this, it is necessary to fulfill what the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches: everyone annuls himself and tries to connect with others, in which, “They helped every one his friend.” And all together we will connect with the upper force, the force of bestowal and love, above the personal egoism of everyone. Then we will feel that it is in this form, as if soaring above the earth, that we can exist, and this is our eternal and happy life.

258Give Israel an Opportunity to Prove Itself

Question: According to The Book of Zohar, all the kings that persecuted Jews throughout history, such as Sennacherib, Nebuchadnezzar and others, will take part in the war of “Gog and Magog.” How do we understand this correctly?

Answer: All ideologies, even those that once ruled in this world and then failed, will rise against Israel again and again in order to enable Israel, the middle line, the power of interconnection, love, and unity, and direction to the Creator, to demonstrate itself.

Comment: In The Book of Zohar it is written that in the future the Creator will resurrect all the kings that oppressed Israel and Jerusalem: “He will give them power, and they will gather the rest of the nations in themselves, and will fight against Jerusalem. And the Creator will openly reward them near Jerusalem in the future, as it is written: “This will be the defeat with which the Creator will smite all the nations that fought against Jerusalem.”

My Response: The Book of Zohar allegorically describes all spiritual actions. It is clear that it does not imply any connection to reality, to bodies, places, wars, and forces. All this is 99% resolved only in the spiritual world.

And in our world, there is only some kind of shadow of this, a small insignificant copy, completely invisible to our eyes. This manifests itself, for example, in the form of some kind of a small conflict between peoples, between countries, so that they reveal this basis a little, and then come to the common denominator.

Quantum Physics And Mind Power

024Question: Does Quantum Physics explain the power of our thoughts?

Answer: I cannot vouch for Quantum Physics since there are additional aspects that are published every day with regard to it in the form of different theories and methods. In the past, I used to keep up with the new publications all the time, but now for a long time, I have not engaged in it.

The fact that we can manage different actions through our thoughts is true. After all, thought is the highest power. Above it, is only desire. So, if the desires and thoughts of a person are correctly directed, then the power of the Creator is put on in them, and the person creates.

In principle, we do everything that we need to do to correct the creation by our thoughts and our desires, in which the thoughts and desires of the Creator are clothed.

What Is Happiness For A Kabbalist?

572.02Question: What is happiness for you?

Answer: Happiness is the continuous attainment of the reality revealing before you. Just as if you are driving along the road and more and more new views are revealed to you, so is the continuous revelation of reality, of a new reality, in new amplitudes—this is happiness.

Moreover, this happiness is not subjective; it has to be objective. It should be such that you feel it not within yourself, but in the property of bestowal, of love, in properties that go beyond you. That is, first, a person must acquire such properties that do not limit him in anything. Then you can talk about happiness.

Question: But it turns out that you are as if driving on the road without a map, right? Is all of this suddenly revealed to you, without any itinerary?

Answer: Everything is revealed to you suddenly. It is because you become unlimited, your consciousness and everything else expands.

But it is still limited at every moment of time because you are driving, you are moving forward all the time. Therefore, “Kabbalah” (“reception” in Hebrew) is called this way, that is, this wisdom is about attainment, about reception, about achievement. It is said that at the end of this path we come to the attainment of the absolute. And there are probably no changes there.

Where Will The Coronavirus Generation Take Us

962.4Comment: Now a generation is coming into the world called the coronavirus generation. Analysts believe that this generation will be familiar with free money from the state and have the desire to receive an unconditional basic income. They say there will be a lot of emptiness, drug use, and longing in this generation. We are bringing into the world a generation about which we speak in advance as “lost.”

My Response: It is not our fault. It is nobody’s fault. This is the order of development, this is the evolution of our desires.

To begin with, this generation does not have such desires as we had: to achieve something, to be someone, and so on. This athlete, that writer, this rich man—there is no such thing anymore! There are no desires whatsoever for anything. There is no special ambition.

But I hope that at the same time with the feeling of emptiness, they will begin to feel a radically new filling of giving, a loving attitude toward others.

I cannot fulfill myself, and I do not want to. I am already detached, I no longer have any of that in me. I am too lazy, I do not want to get up or do anything, I do not have anything for myself. But toward others, I can develop such qualities in myself that when I fulfill the other, I begin to feel that it makes sense. There is a desire in it, there is a fulfillment in it.

Question: So, now I am blocked from anything that concerns fulfilling myself directly? Life for myself is blocked for me from all sides.

Answer: Yes. Man has simply spent himself. And here he begins to understand that by fulfilling others, he can fulfill himself. This is a kind of self-filling, but of a different type.

Question: That is, by loving someone else, giving to someone else, I fulfill myself?

Answer: Yes, I fulfill myself. But the point here is that you have to come to a state where you fulfill the other not in order to be fulfilled yourself, but because you want to be in the other and feel and enjoy his fulfillment, and not to think of yourself, absolutely not! Otherwise, you will be back to where you started from, just like in a circle.

I think people will be able to realize this quickly. That same egoism will lead us to this, which is interesting. It buries itself and brings out another type instead.

The masses will come to this from the inevitability, from suffering, from the feeling of insignificance, worthlessness, emptiness. Like how we came to Kabbalah. Only with them it will be more prominent. Because it will be a massive sense of the end. And through this end, through this void, they will see the light. Through the thorns to the stars, from the darkness to the light.

Question: That is, it is necessary to completely destroy everything, practically lay a man down, and then he will see a way out of this state?

Answer: And at the very last stage, when you are completely done, “that’s it, the end!”—that’s where you start to see: no, this is not the end, this is just the beginning! It will be so.

Question: But this is inhumane. And what does the word “humane” mean to you?

Answer: I think that the demolition of both the past regime and the method of filling up the ego is the greatest humanity that the Creator could do, when He exalted man with all his egoistic impulses, goals, and conceit, and then gradually, time after time, century after century, destroys, again and again, all this in man, showing him how unreal it all is.

But we will be able to realize this only at the very last stage.

Between The World And The Creator

254.01Question: Some time ago, you said that we have finally come into resonance with the world and now are mutually influencing each other. We learn that egoism is constantly growing in the world. In this resonance, should we somehow overtake and take control of this general egoism?

Answer: It is enough for us to properly adjust ourselves all the time to the world and to the Creator. We do not need to rule over the world because the fact that we will correctly resonate between the world and the Creator will lead everything to a state of correction.

It all manifests itself in intentions. Only work with intentions!

Question: Does this mean that our group determines the rhythm? Or does the world determine our capabilities?

Answer: Mutually. If we move forward, then we define. If we fall behind, the world determines. This is felt by the good or evil attitude of the world toward us. The world’s reaction to us clearly determines whether we are improving or not.

Question: What is happening to the world now is spinning more and more steeply. Should our connection with the world, our sensations, go into something qualitative? What else can we invest to make us feel like we are the link? Does it depend not only on us but also on the world?

Answer: It depends on us and we will try to push the world forward.

The Condition For Receiving The Torah

931.01Question: There is a condition for receiving the Torah. If you do not unite, meaning, if you do not become responsible for one another, then here will be the place of your burial. What is this law?

Answer: Either you receive this knowledge, implement it, cross the barrier between our world and the spiritual world and enter into the perception of the upper world, reach the state of adhesion with the Creator, or you remain here in this world like an animal, practically on an inanimate degree.

Question: Why is it all so rigid?

Answer: Because this is the condition to exist in the upper world where you are above your egoism.

Question: Does it mean that there was a historical fact when a large number of people were able to comply with this rule?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Were there any other such facts in history?

Answer: No. The Torah was only given once.

The Mystery Of The Unification Of The Masculine And Feminine, Part 14

284.07How does a woman influence a man?

Question: If a man studies the wisdom of Kabbalah and scrutinizes what he studies and his wife does not object, then he is the receiver of the light. Can we say that when a woman studies the wisdom of Kabbalah and the husband objects, but then changes his mind after a while, is it the woman who influenced him?

Answer: A woman influences a man much more than a man influences a woman. When a woman studies the wisdom of Kabbalah her husband will certainly follow her, but when a man studies the wisdom of Kabbalah, his wife will not always follow him.

We can see this in every country and in every nation, it is the same everywhere. A man eventually listens to his wife.

A woman who studies the wisdom of Kabbalah can bring the family in the right direction, whereas the husband cannot because he has to “steal” time from the family from time to time in order to engage in what he loves.

This is the reason that I ask the women to pay attention and to make sure that the men will be able to study properly.
