Is There Anything Outside of Our Qualities?

249.01Comment: Often, when you listen to a lesson, your mind seems to be cancelled; there is no perception at the level of logic, and it is very difficult for you to grasp something. And then, when you listen to the same lesson again, everything becomes logical and clearly structured. The picture is beautiful.

My Response: It all depends on you. And for someone else, it may be the other way around. During the lesson everything was logical, harmonious, and clear, and in the afternoon, a person listened again and had confusion in his head, he did not take in anything.

Question: And how should it be?

Answer: Neither way! Everything is relative to a person. If you have the opportunity to arrange yourself for a lesson, that is, to prepare yourself internally for it, then you will perceive it correctly, and if not, then no.

It is just like with the upper world: if you have the opportunity to create it in you, then you create it, and if there is no such opportunity, then it simply does not exist. It is not there!

Therefore, everything is aimed at creating qualities in you that would correctly depict the spiritual. And outside of our qualities, there is absolutely nothing.

Internal Reconfiguration

120Comment: Your most successful students are those who are receptive to reprogramming. They easily part with a certain firmware and change to another.

My Response: Of course; it is very important.

If a person has such natural flexibility, which is not easy to achieve because we go through huge internal transformations; if he is capable of it, is waiting for it, and is in anticipation that it will happen to him often, then he moves forward.

It is like a drug, when you just lose your head and then recover again. The same happens here, only you no longer recover because both in the heart and in the mind there is a serious internal transformation, reconfiguration, and upgrade. But it is wonderful!

At first such a restructuring seems like a strong blow to the head, and then you feel it as something necessary to get closer to the next step. You have to grow up to it.

In this life for several years you go through such transformations that people go through only when they die and are born again. And you can go through it even every day!

Therefore it is said that Kabbalah accelerates and eases development, because it is very difficult to go through such a shake-up, such an internal restructuring, without a group and without studying. After all, normally in order to undergo at least some transformations during life, you need really terrible suffering: illness, death, and to be born again.

Before Entering Adulthood

165Question: Sometimes you lead the whole group into such states that the students feel it is necessary to make an effort to get out of them. Is this part of your job?

Answer: Of course. This is education! Why else do you need a teacher in Kabbalah? A teacher leads the students through all the most basic steps of entering the upper world, and then they will be able to go further themselves. In our world, we do exactly the same thing with our children; we see them through until they become adults.

Question: During this process, do you experience what you say, or do you just act so that the students feel it?

Answer: No, I experience everything with them. The thing is, I sympathize with them, and I empathize. For me, this empathy is much deeper than theirs. If they do not succeed in something, or something is difficult and incomprehensible for them, I experience it much more than they do. It seems that I am even smiling, but actually I am very worried internally. I am able to survive this because I understand both the entrance and exit from these states and their necessity.

Just like in our world, for example, a child with food poisoning needs to fast. He cries and wants to eat, and his parents suffer from this, but on the other hand, they know they cannot give him food, and they have to wait. Or, for example, they know it is necessary to treat their child’s sore with antiseptic and it will burn, but they do it anyway, and this is not a big deal.

A Moment before Machsom

236.02Question: What happens to a person a moment before the Machsom when two systems are reversed within them?

Answer: There is complete detachment, the feeling of failure, utter hopelessness, and absolute powerlessness, the disappearance of any features, understanding, knowledge, and accumulated experience—just emptiness.

Comment: On the one hand, this is a state where you can easily move away from the usual things and your understanding of the world, but on the other hand, it is very painful to break away from what supposedly is my “I.”

My Response: No. The thing is, you already want it like a person who has suffered a lot before death and wants it. He understands that there is no life in his past qualities anymore, that everything that happened to him is necessary for him to reach the state where he wants to get rid of all of this himself and move on to the next view of the world through the qualities of bestowal and not through the qualities of reception.

Be Grateful for Disturbances

237Question: If I received a thought during the lesson that takes me away from spiritual actions, then what do I need to do internally in order to use it correctly?

Answer: Be grateful that you received the disturbance because there is no evil in the world; there is only good. It depends on how you look at this disturbance.

If you look at it correctly, then you will see that it is good. Every obstacle is placed before you. It is like how we set up some obstacles for small children as exercises.

We do not help him all the time; rather, we give him exercises with which, overcoming them physically, he becomes smarter, and more developed in feelings and in mind. We cannot develop his feelings or mind, so we give him all kinds of disturbances, and various sensations, and constantly bother him. That is how we are also being bothered. Therefore, you need to be thankful, because otherwise, you will remain a small animal.

Pray to Whom?

236.01Question: You often repeat: “Why don’t you ask?” But how should we ask? Everyone wants to, but no one understands what they want. Is it some kind of stupid state of hopelessness.

Answer: But why?! Because you do not sense whom to turn to. I understand your problems and I want to direct you correctly.

You do not know whom to turn to. If some kind of a statue were placed in front of you, you would be able to do it.

Once, when I was in Mexico, our bus stopped in a parking lot near a village. There was a statue of the Madonna at the crossroad.

There were many Mexicans among the passengers. People got off the bus. One lame Mexican with a wooden crutch, who had difficulty getting off the bus, approached the Madonna, kissed her, and began to pray. There was something for him to turn to, there was a specific image.

And there are no images in Kabbalah! To what should you turn? To your own corrected self!

Who is the Creator? The property of bestowal and love for others revealed by you.

Kabbalah turns you to yourself. It is impossible for us to understand it! In our minds, this is a terrible dualism, and we cannot do anything about it.

Therefore, Kabbalah is intended only for those who already have this dualism inside them: there is a heart and a point in the heart, i.e., a selfish desire and a germ of altruistic intention. With this, you can move forward and begin to adapt and develop it.

The heart develops, and a point in the heart grows. In other words, two opposite desires develop; there is a dipole that can exchange and grow.

And if there is only a single desire to enjoy, then we need to imagine someone from the outside, not within oneself, but one against the other, and establish one as higher and the other lower, as if this is a created being and this is the Creator.

All this is conditional; there is no creation and no Creator. There are two levels one against the other, and that is it.

And where are you? You are nobody. You exist between these two levels, what we call the middle point of Sefirat Tifferet, Klipat Noga. You exist at this point only in order to realize both levels between which you exist. This is how you develop.

But if there is only one earthly desire in a person, his life, his loved ones, and so on, then he needs some kind of external object to which he will pray, to which he will turn, and on which he will supposedly depend.

In principle, Kabbalah itself sets people up this way. It still comes from ancient Babylon, from Abraham, who gave everyone what they needed: the beginnings of all religions, the beginnings of all beliefs, and the beginnings of Kabbalah. In practice, this is a single knowledge only at different levels.

You Correct the Entire Creation!

115.05It seems to us that we are correcting only our own soul. But in fact the soul of each person stretches between all souls. Therefore, when I correct my tiny part, through this I correct the integration of my particle in all souls.

Therefore we cannot say that a person corrects only his own soul. He corrects the entire creation, only to a very small extent that is included in the creation. Then he adds more corrections and more, and in the meantime, other people also correct themselves and their integration into this person.

It is about this that it is written: “They helped every one his friend,” which means that I correct myself in him and he corrects himself in me, and so we all correct everyone and become like one person with one heart.

Each person includes 600,000 souls, which themselves are also divided into 600,000, and those are also divided into 600,000, etc. It turns out that each of us is like Adam HaRishon, and when we all join together, we also become like one soul of Adam HaRishon. It is not the quantity that is taken into account here, but the depth of the feeling of unity.

Grasp the Connection with the Creator

527.03A person who understands the obstacles given to him, and sees them in exactly the correct and reasonable attitude of the upper governance toward him, feels completely different—he feels like a partner of the Creator.

Everything becomes simple and clear for him, and he only needs to grasp this thought, this feeling, and connection with the Creator and not let go. No matter what people say to him now, and no matter what is happening around him, within he is attuned to the Creator.

On the corporeal level, he is with everyone else, and this in no way should affect the connection with the Creator. On the contrary, one must understand that through others, at this level and in this plane, the Creator acts this way so that one does not break this connection.

He suddenly begins to see that the people around him are angels, that is, the guides of the Creator’s thoughts, His ideas, His governance, and they have no personal relationship to him; there are no personalities around him at all! It is just the Creator dressed in all kinds of objects that affect him in this way.

And through them, he begins to lock himself only to the Creator, and it turns out that the person reveals that there is none else besides Him.

What Is Worth the Effort?

032.01Comment: Many of us are by no means beginners in Kabbalah study, but are still like small children who are trying to understand how to address the Creator correctly, and just cannot come to it.

My Response: For thousands of years, millions of people in the world have been moving toward this like little children. But some of them grow, develop, become smart, and different from those children who, although still young in body, are dead in spirit.

This is an internal search, and it is wonderful! We cannot measure and see from the outside how hundreds of people gather together and rush to exit our world, our level of values, and our petty desires and intentions that are aimed only at surviving well for a minute, and the next minute, and the next. And that is it. It is such an amoebic existence. After all, what is such a huge organism with its potential doing? This is such a waste of resources! How can this be?!

And we have thousands of people who are thinking: “How can we rise above this amoebic state?”

Humanity is performing the simplest operation on itself of how to slightly move into a more comfortable state every moment of time. People move like amoebas, as if they are in some kind of solution: I feel a little bit better like this, I feel a little bit better like that, and that’s it.

But while studying Kabbalah, people try to rise, rebuild their program, and leave their body at the earthly level. Let it continue to exist in this solution, but you need to raise yourself and create within us another level of consciousness, perception, and existence that does not depend on the body. From your point in the heart, like from a drop of semen, you give birth to a new self—a Human! It is to be born through a small passage so that this drop passes through a small hole and starts its birth and development on the other side of the barrier.

Isn’t that wonderful?! Isn’t it worth the effort? Mind you, these efforts are definitely not in vain! Why remain in the amoebic state if there is the possibility of being reborn? It does not matter what happens! Even if nothing works! It’s just that we can’t waste ourselves on staying in this state.

Remember that Everything Comes from One Upper Force

236.02“Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt.” We go through two states: a period of descent and a period of ascent. The descent comes first because this is the time of the revelation of the evil inclination, of all egoistic qualities, and our separation. This is why we will have something to correct later.

First, we plunge into our egoism, and then we correct it and plunge into even greater egoism, and correct it again. Thus, step by step we are getting closer to a complete correction.

We must remember all this—the fact that the Creator does everything. There is none else besides Him! He gives us an evil inclination and He gives us a good inclination, and controls the entire process of correction, changing us state by state. There is nothing that does not come from Him.

We need to cling to the Creator, as a baby clings to the mother, sitting in her arms, and then he is calm and not afraid of anything. We also need to hold on tightly to the ten, within which there is the force of the Creator because it connects. This is how we will move forward.

Nothing happens in order to cause harm; everything is just in order for us to hold on to each other and the Creator more and more tightly. Therefore, we must remember that everything comes from one upper force to help us to grow more and more. There is no evil, everything is for the good.
