What Is the Body Created For?

608.01Question: There is a certain group of people to whom you can play the balalaika, and they feel it like a slap, and some other more “delicious” things they do not feel at all. Is it good when there is such a mass?

Answer: Of course it is good. The mass should not be different. Mass is the flesh in the body, let’s say bones, tendons, and muscle. It occupies 99% of the body. What does it exist for? It would be better if there were one head or not even a head, but a small microprocessor. That would be a person. Why do we need everything else at all?!

If we pull out a microprocessor from everyone, connect them together, or, let’s say, throw them into some kind of jar and they connect to each other, we will get some kind of common consciousness. And everything else, what do we need it for?! Let’s destroy it, throw it away, let it rot. Would that be better? No.

You see that we were created specifically in a world where around our thoughts, not even around a small corporeal ball, but around our thoughts, feelings, and desires that are not corporeal, there is a huge hundred-kilogram body that needs to be fed, moved, and serviced.

Why? For what? Because it is in this way, at these levels, that we must begin to correct desires. Precisely being at such a point outside of spirituality, in an animalistic desire, that we look at our spiritual part as if from the outside inward and can correct it. If I did not have an animalistic body, I would not be able to correct my soul because then I would be in it. In this way, however, I am outside of it and create and build it.

Question: When this mass of people comes to correction, does it perceive the common consciousness, this common thought, in the same way as the part that is a small ball?

Answer: They will perceive it the same way we do. Everyone will achieve the same awareness and sensation. It will be absolutely the same for everyone.

Comment: But at this stage there is a big difference between Kabbalists and the masses.

My Response: The difference is that they are calmer. “He who increases knowledge, increases pain.”

Question: Does it mean that if everyone possessed spiritual knowledge, they would feel great sorrow?

Answer: Of course. Therefore, the dissemination of spiritual knowledge in our world is so important in order for a person to feel the world more acutely and begin to do something with this world.

Spiritual Contact

917.01Comment: You said that a Kabbalist after leaving this world still does not lose touch with people. You say that as if you have already experienced disconnection and connection.

My Response: There is no need to disconnect from anything. I can see from my degree how I interact with everyone. I do not need to die or not to die for that. What does it matter if nothing remains of the body? It is irrelevant. On the contrary, there is an even better perception, new perspectives.

The body is essentially a connector between those who cannot yet connect in any other way.

Question: It turns out that the body is the same tool as, let’s say, the Internet. I use the Internet to connect with someone. The body is seemingly exactly such a network?

Answer: Yes, this is an external contact network that is partially or completely removed. It will be completely removed only at the end of the final correction when we transition to complete unification, complete merging.

Question: When you remember Rabash, do you perceive him physically?

Answer: Why physically? No. I have some kind of internal image and I work with it.

Question: In any case, are you always in contact with Rabash?

Answer: In general, yes.

Question: And how are your relationships with the chain of Kabbalists realized?

Answer: I feel myself among them, but first of all is the connection with Rabash. He is the closest to me among them. I lean on him all the time like a little one who is next to his father.

“The Earth Was Empty and Chaotic”

746.01And the earth was empty and chaotic and the darkness over the face of the abyss, and the spirit of Elokim hovered over the face of the waters (Introduction of The Book of Zohar, “The Rose”).

The earth was empty and chaotic means that it has not yet begun to absorb into itself the quality of the Upper, the Creator. And the spirit of Elokim hovered over it; that is, it was getting closer to the earth and beginning to influence it from afar.

The earth (Eretz) is from the word “Ratzon,” desire. This is the general desire of a person.

The earth was empty means that the desire was not filled with the pleasures of bestowing to the Creator.

And the spirit of Elokim hovered over the water; that is, it has not yet begun to act in the depths of human souls.

All Life Is in Bestowal

509Question: There are many interesting terms in the article “Lock and Key” from The Book of Zohar. It turns out that we have a lock, a key, and a gate. How do we work with these terms?

Answer: They are in our properties. If we get closer to each other, we will gradually approach the gate, find the lock, and even find out that we have the key to it. With the help of this key we will be able to open the lock, open the gate, and enter the halls of the Creator.

Comment: If I understand correctly, there are some secrets of the universe, and there are gates. First, I have to find the gate that symbolizes the transition from state to state. But there is a lock in the gate, some kind of a barrier, so that we cannot immediately reveal the property of bestowal.

My Response: We cannot reveal it all at once but only after six Sefirot. If the Creator were revealed to a person in his egoism, he would immediately run away from this because of his opposite properties.

And when he finds the key inside himself, he gradually opens the 49 locks of the gates (barriers), and approaching the 50th gate, he understands that all life is in bestowal.

What Should Be Carved on the Heart

565.02Question: There is a parable about two friends who argued and one slapped the other. The latter wrote in the sand: “Today my very best friend slapped me in the face.” They reached the river. The one who received a slap in the face began to sink, but his friend saved him. And the drowning man wrote on a stone: “Today my very best friend saved me.”

The one who saved his friend’s life asked him: “When I offended you, you wrote on the sand, and now you write on stone. Why?” The friend replied: “When someone offends us, we have to write it in the sand so that the winds can erase it. But when good things are done to us, we have to engrave it on stone so that no wind can erase it.”

Our world exists in the opposite way. If we are offended, we remember it, maybe even for life. If good things are done to us, they are forgotten, forgotten, forgotten. And then more insults come and so on; they lead humanity.

Is this the right message to follow: resentment is on the sand and good things that are done to you engrave on stone?

Answer: It depends on the person’s work on himself. If he wants to rise above the animal in himself, then he will write his grievances only in the sand. Otherwise it is very difficult to live.

A person must lift up the eternal, the perfect, which is above egoism, and record it in himself, on his heart. And all the small, insignificant, insulting things are written down in yourself as if on sand.

Comment: But there will be more records on the sand than on stone. There is a lot of it.

My Response: It does not matter, it is all temporary, it is all erased, washed away.

Question: How is it written on the heart? You say, “Write on the heart.” Many people imagine the heart as an organ. What does it mean writing only good things on the heart?

Answer: Writing on the heart means that I am trying to be impressed by the special actions of my neighbor so that they cut into me like a chisel in a stone, i.e., carve on the heart.

Question: What does it give? Let us say I have a lot of such records. What happens after that?

Answer: You will be made up of them, that is all. In this way, you will bring out in yourself a heart, consisting of the good deeds of other people.

Question: Let us say I have the good that my friend did to me carved on my heart. And if he suddenly does something bad to me, how will it change me?

Answer: You will wash it off.

Question: Can I do it?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So the more good records I have on my heart about this friend, the faster I will be able to wash away the bad things that will come from him?

Answer: This is also true.

Comment: Today, many people write letters to you and you keep saying that the Creator is kind and does only good. And now you are saying: “This is what should be carved on the heart.” Exactly that.

My Response: Yes.

Comment: But that is difficult to carve, you look at the world and…

My Response: Imagine that you are in the state all the time when you feel that the Creator is kind and does good to you and to everyone. How sweet it becomes to live!

Comment: Sweet if you can break yourself.

My Response: You do not break yourself. You raise such an attitude toward the Creator in yourself, above your animal.

Comment: But you understand that my animal feels all this horror that is happening around.

My Response: Teach it that this is not what is necessary to perceive in life, but instead the good that is manifested in the meantime.

Question: If I do this as an exercise, that all the time I try to imagine the Creator as kind, doing good, and to write that on my heart, will this happen?

Answer: Then it will happen of course. You will exist this way.

Question: And will I be able to justify everything, what is happening around me, and so on?

Answer: Gradually.

Question: But will I?

Answer: Yes, you will.

Question: Can this be taken as practical advice?

Answer: Of course. It is all practical.

Question: So is the main conclusion that we write down all the good things and carve them on our hearts?

Answer: Perceive life as the best thing a person has because he receives it directly from the Creator. And everything that he cannot perceive in this way, he should relate to the opposite quality of nature, which is given to us so that we change ourselves and perceive everything as absolute good.

See the Fruits of One’s Work

939.02Question: Do you have fear that your students will no longer need you like it happened with Rabash’s students at the time?

Answer: I don’t know! For now, I do not feel this way. Sometime ago I was told a fortune that I would live for many years. But I heard it by accident from someone. Personally, I do not make plans and I do not think that it is necessary. After all, spirituality is not connected to mechanical years.

I would want to see my students tightly connected among themselves in the world that they understand and are able to adapt to and that they spiritually subjugate themselves. To subjugate it in the kind sense, meaning to give out what it needs. The world will understand and accept them. The world will be in good and kind communication with them. It will receive the method of correction, elevation, and wellbeing from them.

It is quite possible that everything will suddenly break off. I do not know. Why should I make any predictions?

A Kabbalist wants to see the fruits of his work. Besides, when he departs from this world, he is leaving relative to his students. They do not see him, do not have contact with him as before. However, he still remains among them. He still senses for real their inner essence.

This so-called illusory world Olam haMedumeh disappears, but everything else stays.

No connection is lost except for the outer physical connection between people who exist only in it. Therefore, the Kabbalist loses his ability to act in a clear earthly way upon people who exist only in material attainment.

The Charisma of a Kabbalist

231.03Comment: All government leaders are charismatic, self–confident personalities. In their charisma, they are not inferior to you or to everyone else.

My Response: But my charisma is of a different nature. The difference is that I think about the well-being of the world in accordance with the upper will. I study it and try to be its humble conduit, suppressing myself, my egoism, and any personal interests I may have.

My personal interest lies in having no personal interest at all. And for rulers, everything is built upon elevating themselves regardless of the means, sell anything to anyone in any way, just to stay in power and rise even higher.

Question: How do you restrain yourself from seeking personal gain?

Answer: To do that one must first acquire the attribute of bestowal, which is only possible under the influence of the upper light. And only when a person attains that can he really do something for the benefit of the world, and not for himself.

Question: But can he fall into such a state when he starts using it himself?

Answer: He may fall into a state when he suddenly wants to take advantage of it, but he will refrain from doing so. After all, these are special descents meant to further correct oneself.

Palaces and Treasures

282.01Question: In the article “Lock and Key” from the Introduction to The Book of Zohar it is written that countless treasures are hidden in the palaces. What are the palaces inside a person, and what are the treasures?

Answer: The palaces of the Creator are Kelim (Vessels), that is, great desires that can be revealed and filled with the upper light, with the upper treasures revealed in them, in these palaces. And they become like countless treasures.

However, we are not talking about treasures of our world where precious stones, gold, silver, and so on immediately come to mind. This means attainment, understanding, and mastery of all the secrets of nature.

What Is the Program of Egoism Aimed At?

537Question: My question is about the program of egoism. If a person has come to the invention of the bow, then the chariot, and so on, then in principle it is possible to predict the next stages in the development of his egoism. Now we have a lot of different technologies. Are there any other stages of development?

Answer: All these technologies will not be needed. A virtual connection will develop more, which at a certain stage will help people until they have an internal connection with each other.

From a virtual connection, they will come to a spiritual connection. They will not need anything else. They will make minimal use of this world in order for the body to exist until they completely correct themselves.

Then the feeling of the body will disappear because it is the lower egoistic animalistic part. The still, vegetative, and animate parts of nature will be included in the level of “man” and that is it.

There will be only one desire, which consists of all the others. But it will be fully directed toward bestowal, and therefore the body and this entire world will disappear from our sensations. The corporeal world is contrived by us; that is, it exists only in our thoughts.

In Order for the Secret to Become Apparent

294.3Question: The secret of the universe is that we would acquire the qualities of the Creator. He is pure bestowal without any thought of Himself. What is the secret here?

Answer: This is a secret because we do not have the quality of bestowal.

Question: But we are talking about it now, so it is no longer a secret. Everyone can read this.

Answer: Reading does not mean anything! You must feel this quality in you and with its help see the world! Then it will not be a secret anymore. So what if you just say that word?

Question: So the only secret is that one must become loving and bestowing like the Creator? Is that all?

Answer: It is Beresheet! It is “in the beginning”! Then everything is revealed further in order to come to equivalence of qualities with the Creator. That is, obtaining the qualities of the Creator is the means that in the future reveals His thought.
