Question: Can the method of Kabbalah become public if the majority perceives the development of additional sense organs as mysticism?

Answer: People are accustomed to everything that is beyond this life being related to mysticism, unnatural forces. But in this case it is not so. The wisdom of Kabbalah is organized very simply, and this method originated from Abraham.

Students gather around the teacher, and he organizes them in a group. They begin to work in it as if in a laboratory, creating an environment in which it is possible to reveal the upper force. And when they reveal this upper force in connection with each other, they begin to study it, to develop due to it and develop it.

That is, they operate from two directions. They have the desire to receive, and they reveal the desire to bestow. Thus, they can influence this force of bestowal, draw it, grow it, and study how it affects them. They begin a mutual, practical work with the upper force, the Creator, as with any other force of nature that is revealed to us.

The only question is how to quickly build the laboratory in which we will reveal the upper force, will research, learn, and be able to perform mutual work with it, as partners. We will affect it, and it will affect us, that is, the whole group. After all, one person is not able to create the property of bestowal out of himself.

Only in mutual connection in the group, for example, between ten people, can we create the force of mutual bestowal, which will be similar to the hidden upper force. Then this upper force will be revealed to us according to the law of equivalence of form.

In this way we catch a wave in a radio set, tuning it internally, respectively to this wave. And then according to the law of equivalence of form, with the help of the internal wave, we catch the external wave. By the same principle, we reveal the upper force in the group, creating a small property of bestowal between ourselves to the extent of our abilities.

Suddenly, we seemingly catch the external radio wave in this property of bestowal created between us: we feel some conversation, external, higher impact. So, we have caught Him! In this way we grasp the Creator.

This is a very real feeling. If we arrange our group in this way, we will certainly reveal the Creator; there is no mystery. The same laws, as in physics, act here.

Rabash writes in his article “By Your Actions, We Know You” “The whole earth is full of the glory of the Creator, and there is no place free from Him.” The upper force fills all creation, the desire to enjoy created by this force, and manages it. “But we do not feel it only because we lack the necessary sense organs.”

“In this way, a receiver does not talk itself, but picks up voices that sound in the world. But before the receiver was invented, we did not hear these voices, although they already existed in reality.

“We can understand from this example that there is no place free from the Creator, and we need just a receiver. And the receiver that catches the upper force is based on adhesion to it in the equivalence of form, that is, on the desire to bestow.

“As soon as we have such a receiver, we will immediately feel that there is no such area, where the Creator is not present, and the whole earth is full of His glory.”

We are in the group like scientists in a laboratory, who only need to generate the force of mutual bestowal between themselves in order to be turned into a receiver. Then, inside the receiver, we will reveal the spiritual wave, the Creator.

It is revealed only in the connection between us. And all the preliminary preparation, our development through the still, vegetative, and animate nature up to the human was needed in order to form in us the desire to find this wave.

Therefore, we must look for how we can be connected according to the advice of Kabbalists. But all this is very far from mysticism. Only a completely ignorant person can relate Kabbalah with mysticism since according to the definition of Kabbalah, it is the revelation of the Creator by the created being in this world.

Question: What is the difference between the wisdom of Kabbalah and other sciences?

Answer: You attain and establish all the other sciences by your five fictitious senses, while you attain and establish the wisdom of Kabbalah by a new sense, which you receive from Above and by which you explore the upper world (since it all exists only with regard to the created being).

The difference between the wisdom of our world (which includes all the sciences that have already been revealed by us and which are yet to be revealed) and the wisdom of Kabbalah is that in the science of Kabbalah you have a sense of bestowal and you can control and explore yourself, the spiritual world, Godliness, and this world.

On the other hand, in conventional science, which studies this world, there is no external perspective, no objective point of view from which you can see the world and yourself and see what is right and what is wrong and how subjective everything is. Of course everything is absolutely subjective with regard to your senses. If you had additional senses or a sixth finger, you would discover something new.

This means that the sciences of this world and studies in this world using the five senses a person has are very limited and are only intended to bring a person to such a development of his ego, of his desire to receive, that he should understand and realize that he cannot advance any further with the sense of receiving that he now has.

Question: So what is the sixth sense that a person acquires when he studies Kabbalah?

Answer: The sixth sense is that attribute of bestowal. If the Light shines on you and influences you, it gives you its attributes and then your receive the attribute of bestowal, which we simply call the sixth sense. It isn’t just another sense in addition to your corporeal senses.

The Light gives you an additional attribute in which you can see and feel what is external to the desire to receive, what is external to you.

A human being is created by two forces, the force of giving and the force of receiving, which are combined. This interaction and interdependence between them and their combination provide us with images of the levels of the still, vegetative, animate, and man, as well as their external and internal attributes.

The stronger the egoistic forces are and the higher their frequency, the more information they include and the greater their ability to act mutually. Accordingly, many new phenomena occur. We see how the world that developed cybernetic systems and computer systems can fully transcend to a virtual reality.

Soon we will be able to synthesize any product we want from elementary building blocks, from atoms. If we wish only to do this correctly, we will not even have to extract them from nature.

We will have the ability to reach these levels of technology where the mere combination of plus and minus, of an electron and a proton, of the positive and negative particles, will enable us to create anything we want. But the question is how we will format our thoughts in that way. Everything other than our thoughts, other than the human being in us, will be in our control.

There is nothing in nature but these two forces—the negative and the positive—and all the micro elements are a result of these forces. Everything is based on the right combinations between them: one force supports the other and exposes it in mutual bestowal. This is how a person’s body, appearance, and attributes are made..

There is a part in TES  (The Study of the Ten Sefirot) called “The 13 Corrections of Dikna (beard).” This hair isn’t just another layer since in animals in can appear in different forms like fish scales, shells, feathers, etc.

On the whole, there are external forces that stem from our body and take on the form of hair or open surfaces that are not covered by hair, especially on a person’s face.

This depends on the exit of the Light of Hochma, the Light of knowledge, of revelation, and also on the exit of the Light of Hassadim, the Light of correction and even concealment. The mutual combination between them, the revelation and the concealment, is what forms our face and defines the area where the hair grows on it.

Why does hair grow on a man’s face and not on a woman’s face? Why does a man’s hair have different forms on the head, sideburns, a mustache, a split mustache, the lower part of the beard, the upper part of the beard, etc?

All these attributes result from the interaction between the two forces, which is very important since the head, our microprocessor, is where all problems are solved. Therefore, we are told in TES about these two forces and about the interaction between them. The problems that are described in the Torah with regard to hair and the problems of hair loss, why women have to cover their hair, and why men are allowed to cut the hair on their head but not their beard, mean that all these habits are accurately based.

Question: Why do only men have a beard and a mustache and not women?

Answer: It is because a man performs corrections. The word “hair” – “Se’arot” stems from the Hebrew word “stormy” – “Sauer,” which means excited and ready to act. This attribute is expressed in men by moving forward by revelations, studying, and attainment. Women are more static.

Therefore, both men and women have hair on their head and only men have hair that flows downward. What is more, the upper part of the beard spreads to the chest and the lower part all the way to the waist.

The custom of not cutting one’s beard exists in all the religions because it is taken from the Old Testament.

Question: People are different, so how can they influence different processes in nature together with other people?

Answer: Everything depends on the level of bestowal. If we speak about the levels in nature of the still, vegetative, and animate, humanity is destroying and corrupting the environment and causing great harm to the ecology. At the same time, however, the upper providence is arranged so that it enables a person to gradually learn from his actions until he understands because everything exists and operates for a purpose. Even though we should have already disappeared from the surface of the earth because of our corruptions, nature is still arranged from above in a way that it can bear us and allow us to continue until we learn and grow wiser and gradually realize, according to our human nature, that we have to change.

Question: Won’t humanity reach the recognition and the revelation as to how the world is arranged and how the different forces operating in it are arranged up until the very last moment of its evolution? Is it our eternal fate to live in such a mess, wars and outbursts of desires?

Answer: There is no mess and no coincidence. We are in a very accurate, rigid, and deterministic system. Everything is arranged in a clear and accurate manner without any defects or flaws.

There are no concepts such as “as if,” “suddenly,” or “approximately,” etc. The more we learn about nature according to different sciences, the more clearly the very accurate unchangeable laws are revealed to us. We divide and classify our knowledge in different fields, but, in fact, there are no different sciences like chemistry, physics, etc, in the world around us.

It is only the unknown areas that have not been explored and studied as yet by which we can attempt to clarify things, but it is merely our perception that stems from ignorance. We simply cannot perceive the whole general picture.

Still, if we delve deeper into this issue, we see that nothing in creation happens for no reason, suddenly, as if, or approximately. It is on our part that we see things that way as “one judges according to his own flaws.” If our mind could grasp and penetrate the depths of nature, we could see a magnificent system in which everything exists in perfection. We could actually see what Godliness is and that everything is related to everything on all levels from the top down. The natures of the still, vegetative, animate, and human beings are one in their spiritual and corporeal revelation, and by one movement of my arm, I can move and operate all the worlds. This is how it is all built. There is no event that can remain unfelt and not affect the whole system.

Question: Why can’t humanity reach this level of evolution and see this picture?

Answer: We cannot do that in our egoistic mind and our egoistic feelings. We can only perceive the whole picture if we acquire the attribute of bestowal, the second and altruistic force.

Therefore, we study only on the levels of the still, vegetative, and animate and only on an elementary level, which is not bestowal and reception.

For nearly 6,000 years, Kabbalah has spoken about the world as existing only in our sensations, and no more. Question: Why do Kabbalists maintain that the wisdom of Kabbalah is a science, which means that it is a study based on facts and evidence?

Answer: A Kabbalist doesn’t change external conditions like a scientist does, but rather changes his internal attributes and studies the internally changing perception of the world.

A scientist studies the still, vegetative, and animate nature while a Kabbalist studies nature on the level of a human being, Adam, stemming from the Hebrew word “Domeh” – to resemble the Creator, as it said that the Creator created man in his image and in His likeness.

Therefore, when we study man as the wisdom of Kabbalah suggests, we learn about the Creator by studying about ourselves, and as a result we change ourselves until we become like Him.

Thus we attain the thought, the plan and the ultimate goal of the creation and the world becomes clearer and manageable…

Question: Knowledge is the highest degree that allows us to comprehend the whole of reality. This is what is expressed in Ecclesiastes by King Solomon. However, as a result, he came to the conclusion that “For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow” and “the wise man shall die the same as the fool.” Why didn’t acquisition of wisdom and knowledge bring him the desired happiness?

Answer: Because wisdom and knowledge are just a way to achieve happiness. To be happy is our whole life. We do not need anything except to feel what to enjoy. Ultimately, the only thing we want is to enjoy life.

We can clothe this into various things, events, phenomena, but we want to enjoy, to fulfill ourselves. By pleasure, I mean filling ourselves with life because we have nothing except life. So, we want to feel it as fulfilling and pleasant.

What does it mean that a person lives? He has a spirit that either oppresses him or makes him happy. I want this spirit to be filled with vitality. As we have said, I always need to renew myself in order to do this. Thus, when I want wealth, power, knowledge, or even lesser things, such as a family, sex, or food, it is only in order to receive pleasure.

If you remove the enjoyment of food, a person eats because he has to only to support the body, much like a person who is sick. If he does not receive pleasure from sex, he gets treatment, since otherwise he does not feel any pleasure from life. If there is no joy in the family, he gets divorced.

The same applies to wealth, where we look at our environment and hope to gain independence and security. And now we see that at any moment, everything can be lost. Power today is too transient and not the way it was in the past when there were kings.

Finally, you reach wisdom and see everything what happens. What did you discover? Looking at all the sources of enjoyment, you see that they contain nothing, just as wisdom itself. What have you achieved by comprehending all of creation, which you can see from edge to edge? Everything functions and everything is empty.

And then you find yourself at a dead end and you literally hit the wall, because there is no place further to go. If you are a wise man, if you see the consequences of your every action and every task, you do not start it. You have nothing to do. What remains is only to commit suicide.

Today, we talk about science as of the revelation of the entire world. It implies that you are not just a scholar who studies bugs, either live or electronic, but a great philosopher, a sage. And that is completely different wisdom.

The Book of Zohar speaks exclusively about the connection among all elements of the general system. After descending, Malchut of the world of Infinity that includes the entire world of Infinity with its four stages of the distribution of the direct Light is given to us so that we do our work in the upper system, in the realms where a genuine creation (the soul) dwells.

The soul is shattered and it has to re-emerge with its broken parts. For that, it has to ascend through the worlds, and after it unifies with the worlds, the soul and the worlds return to HaVaYaH, to the four stages of direct Light.

The Book of Zohar, as well as other Kabbalistic sources, describes what one attains as a result of one’s spiritual exertion. Kabbalists disclose only what they actually reveal on their path.

In the sciences of our world, for example, physics, there are books explaining material laws, textbooks. There are numerous popular non-fiction books that describe the history of physics. They depict how major discoveries in physics were made, how the laws that were discovered centuries ago help scientists come up with current innovations, etc. When we read these books, it is as if we follow the routes of physicists who explored the laws of nature and we participate in the process ourselves.

There are two types of Kabbalistic books. The first kind are the texts that are written from top to bottom, starting with theLight of Infinity, as the ARI wrote: “Know that in the beginning of the creation there was only the Upper Light that filled everything.” However, these books do not describe the path of human attainment; rather, they outline the formation of creation from the moment of its appearance from its upper root of the most distant state from us.

There are books that are written differently, from bottom to top, in accordance with the way we ascend spiritually. This is how Rabash wrote his articles. His writings gradually lead us to the spiritual worlds, and he makes every effort to boost our advancement like a patient grandfather teaching his grandchildren: “Let’s do this, and now let’s do that.” It’s as if he opens spirituality together with us. He explains the stages of our advancement and our understanding of the stages of our development.

The Book of Zohar embraces both trends. On one hand, each part of The Book of Zohar, clarifies step-by-step the methods of attaining revelation. On the other hand, the authors immediately tell us where the revelation comes from and why. It is similar to a guide who leads us on the road saying: “Let’s take a step and you’ll see what’s ahead of you and what you must reveal.”

The Book of Zohar accompanies me every step, explaining to me a little in advance what I have to comprehend and expect. I have to make a step forward into the unknown, and The Book of Zohar tells me in advance exactly what will happen to us next.

This is why The Book of Zohar is different from other Kabbalistic books that were written for those who have already attained the upper worlds. Even The Study of the Ten Sefirot doesn’t explain how to raise MAN, but rather, it describes the processes that take place in spiritual Partzufim, whereas The Book of Zohar is written for us.

The vast development of humanity doesn’t pay attention to the universe, and yet it is the place where we can find our roots. ​I​n the enormous open spaces of the universe, we would find the power, clumps of other types of matter, anti-matter, and so on.

It is clear that humans explore the universe, but do not give their research enough weight because they are certain that our future depends on who is stronger, wealthier, or more powerful. Our advancement doesn’t aim at understanding nature in its full revelation, nor does it encourage the acknowledgement of our deficiencies.

I assume the universe is  complete bestowal and that the force of bestowal created and arranged everything that exists. Finally, by combining certain forces, bestowal generated the inanimate, vegetative, animate and speaking levels of nature.

The universe keeps developing matter towards a special, qualitatively new level at which the matter suddenly questions itself about the force that launched it: “Where do we come from? Who are we?”

We know that the thought behind any action is in the result for which the action was meant. We react to the result; however, we never pay enough attention, nor do we ever allocate enough energy to clarify what exactly is influencing us.

On the other hand, we recognize that we are the outcome of this force’s activity. While exploring human nature, we clearly see that we don’t possess any free choice nor do we enjoy freedom of actions. We are preconditioned by our genes, instincts, calculations on profits and losses using primitive formulas.

Here is the problem: How can we possibly explore the universe, its progress and the processes we undergo if we devote all our energy to other things?

One of my students works at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. He told me that at first, there were endless debates about whether or not it was good to start such a tremendous and expensive project. However, the cost of the Collider is equivalent to the cost of keeping American troops in Afghanistan for one week.

So, it is obvious that we don’t apply sufficient effort to exploring nature. I am really sorry for this state of affairs. If we knew nature well enough and spread the knowledge to ​the masses better than we do today, we would recognize our deficiencies. We would discover the lack of new properties: the ones of bestowal.

Then, besides the will to receive that we already have, we would also obtain the power of bestowal that would allow us to explore nature from a new angle.

Question: You are saying that up until now we have been studying nature in a limited, subjective manner, since we base our studies on our ego that limits every research.

This means that we shouldn’t invent new telescopes, microscopes and particle accelerators, but actually something that is totally different. What kind of instrument do we need in order to study the universe?

Answer: We need a new program for mankind. Nature has made us egoists, and in that sense, we are not very different from the animate level. We have only invented different tools and instruments and now we have atom bombs and other such weapons in our hands instead of a stick. We have advanced in the same direction through our evolution.

But if we want to really exit our bubble and don’t want to keep on being the worm that lives inside the bitter radish and who perceives it as its whole world, we need to pay more attention and make more efforts to the acquiring of a second nature. We have to try to program ourselves anew in that direction so that the two types of nature will be integrated inside us: both our old nature that receives and the new nature that bestows and gives.

Then we will really see the other half of the universe, of the world, or even worlds, and we would also see the reason for everything that happens. It is actually by studying the nature of bestowal that we attain and learn about our root and its plan. Otherwise, if we stay inside, we will not discover or know anything about ourselves and will simply continue to improve our mechanical and technological toys and nothing more than that.

The new level is a person’s inner technology, without any clever tricks that we created through the ego. It is a method of acquiring the power of bestowal, and is part of nature that we only have to take out so that it will be dressed in us and form the system of a parallel perception within us.

Question: How will this affect our daily lives?

Answer: First of all, we will discover how and what we should live for and how to improve our lives. The universe itself originated from these two forces, and by establishing the mutual cooperation of these two systems of receiving and bestowal within it, we rise above them to the thought that created the universe. Thus we actually, and not just symbolically, ascend to an eternal infinite state.

Generally speaking, we develop towards this basic question one way or the other. It isn’t just a question about the reason for our sufferings and the meaning of our bitter life, but about the basic initial reason, about its purpose. Only the universe will be able to provide us with an answer when we ascend above the egoistic attraction, which for the time being, is symbolized by our planet earth.

Question: Where is the field of work in which we can properly develop the forces of bestowal inside us? Is it about my relations with the universe or with other people?

Answer: It is about relationships with other people, because they are actually the most developed matter. It is by mutual cooperation and by my interactions with them that I can develop a second nature.

This enables me to discover new things in the universe. When I exit myself, I see a different dimension through the prism of the force of bestowal in which space has no meaning. I look at the world above matter.
