Reconciling Contradictions

243.07Question: Why is my group suffering like I am?

Answer: No, you just see it this way in your distorted perception.

If your thoughts (from morning to evening in your free time from work where you are free to think and feel, or even at work) were about spirituality, and if you also helped the group think about it and advertise this lifestyle to you, you would soon be able to feel all this.

Question: Why is it not only me but also my friend from the group who are shown that we cannot come to this feeling for quite a while?

Answer: In order for him, too, to mobilize all his strength for this.

Question: If the problem is in my perception, why does a friend suffer from this?

Answer: It is in your perception that he suffers; there is nothing other than you. This group and everything else is in your perception.

Comment: But you are constantly under some pressure.

My Response: I feel no pressure. I am in a state as if I am throwing myself into cool water that engulfs me on all sides and feeling myself dissolving in it. It is such a wonderful feeling!

Question: Even if you don’t look at it on the outside?

Answer: Externally, this is my animal body. It can suffer. It feels heaviness, age, and so on.

Also on the inside, I don’t feel the way I described, i.e., in a state of perfection and joy because I am included in everyone else; I depend on them and they depend on me. There are some other factors that force me to do various things.

What’s the difference?! Neither you nor anyone else will be able to understand it until everything is revealed to them.

It is impossible to reconcile the perception of the world in each of us that we all exist: me, the group, and everyone and that I depend on them and they depend on me, and at the same time say: “No, they exist only in my imagination. And all these are my properties that I see before myself.”

A person cannot reconcile these two concepts within himself, nor in general all contradictions pertaining to the perception of the spiritual universe and ours, because he does not yet consist of the spiritual quality. Once he acquires both properties—ours (the property of receiving) and the spiritual (the property of giving)—he will be able to perceive everything correctly.

What Awaits a Person after Death?

294.4Question: Many people who have gone through clinical death claim that they experienced vivid sensations of a world that is dominated by one force that radiates goodness, love, and mercy. And at the same time, they felt how every moment of their lives, every action and intention, was recorded with pedantic accuracy.

Is there any connection between these sensations and what Kabbalists experience when they reveal the spiritual world? After all, Kabbalah also talks about the love and mercy of the upper force.

Answer: I am afraid to answer this question directly because of the risk of being misunderstood. Of course, everything does not end with the death of the physical body. A body lives and dies, we see it very well, and we even use meat of slaughtered animals for food.

People claim that clinical death was accompanied by very pleasant sensations in complete contrast to the world they left, which was full of suffering. But it is not surprising that there is such a revolution from evil to absolute good because indeed this corporeal world is the worst of all worlds. It is completely ruled by egoism and is opposite to the positive force of the desire to bestow.

In the upper worlds the force of unification acts, and in our world the force of separation does. And it is clear that the difference between the corporeal and the spiritual world is huge.

But it is not worth talking about it because we cannot provide any evidence and cannot broadcast from the upper world into our world. Therefore, a person is so afraid of death and thinks of it as something incomprehensible and shrouded in mystery. And I do not think that I have the right to reveal this secret.

Some people claim that at the moment of clinical death they suddenly realized the huge impact of their seemingly most insignificant actions. And of course, there is a grain of truth in this.

Therefore, in this life it is still worth behaving as the Torah advises, that is, to unite with each other in order to reveal the true form of reality that awaits us in the future in a common desire (Kli). After all, after physical death, we have to discover that we are completely connected and influence each other.

The Creator hides from us what is beyond the threshold of death. And we are like curious children who want to look behind this veil and find out what is there. But in all our life there is no way to step over this barrier and reveal the form of the future world.

What should be the right attitude toward death? Death is not what we imagine. It is just a sensory transition from our world to another world. For a person who has experienced death, this corporeal reality ends and existence in new sensations begins.

Is this transition accompanied by pain? I do not think so. Should we be afraid of the moment of death? I think we should not. We are just afraid of the unknown.

And what happens after death? After it there is no more death, and there is no more this corporeal life. But what is there? We shall wait and see!

The World Inside and Outside

423.03Question: Let’s say I go out into the world and tell a person certain things. Despite the fact that everything is inside of me, does he nevertheless exist as if in my perception? Is there a line between what I can say and what I cannot?

Answer: Yes. You have to treat a person as existing outside of you because this is how you perceive him at the moment. When you are able to turn to him within yourself, then it is a completely different level.

As long as the world is not corrected, it exists both outside and inside. When the world is completely corrected, i.e., when I will correct in myself absolutely all external parts that will become my internal ones, then it will all become one.

I cannot explain this. You have to feel it. Instead of understanding with your head, try to understand with your heart. Then everything will be fine.

The World Is a Reflection of a Person’s Inner State

928Question: It is generally accepted that everything depends on one’s mood. For example: if I am in a bad mood, I go outside and everyone is bad; if I am in a good mood, everyone around me is blooming and fragrant.

But there are various events taking place in the world, upheavals, and revolutions that exist even without my moods. How should I feel about this?

Answer: The problem is that you do not perceive the world as yourself. It seems to you that it exists outside of you, does not relate to you, and something happens in it independently of you.

This perception of reality is egoistic because we perceive only what is interesting to us and not what objectively happens. We do not feel the world as it is.

The world is just an internal reflection of my state and nothing more. Nothing more! It all depends on how I perceive myself. This is my world.

If I changed, I would feel both myself and the world differently. That is, it is my reflection: if I change, the world will change.

What Should Be Carved on the Heart

565.02Question: There is a parable about two friends who argued and one slapped the other. The latter wrote in the sand: “Today my very best friend slapped me in the face.” They reached the river. The one who received a slap in the face began to sink, but his friend saved him. And the drowning man wrote on a stone: “Today my very best friend saved me.”

The one who saved his friend’s life asked him: “When I offended you, you wrote on the sand, and now you write on stone. Why?” The friend replied: “When someone offends us, we have to write it in the sand so that the winds can erase it. But when good things are done to us, we have to engrave it on stone so that no wind can erase it.”

Our world exists in the opposite way. If we are offended, we remember it, maybe even for life. If good things are done to us, they are forgotten, forgotten, forgotten. And then more insults come and so on; they lead humanity.

Is this the right message to follow: resentment is on the sand and good things that are done to you engrave on stone?

Answer: It depends on the person’s work on himself. If he wants to rise above the animal in himself, then he will write his grievances only in the sand. Otherwise it is very difficult to live.

A person must lift up the eternal, the perfect, which is above egoism, and record it in himself, on his heart. And all the small, insignificant, insulting things are written down in yourself as if on sand.

Comment: But there will be more records on the sand than on stone. There is a lot of it.

My Response: It does not matter, it is all temporary, it is all erased, washed away.

Question: How is it written on the heart? You say, “Write on the heart.” Many people imagine the heart as an organ. What does it mean writing only good things on the heart?

Answer: Writing on the heart means that I am trying to be impressed by the special actions of my neighbor so that they cut into me like a chisel in a stone, i.e., carve on the heart.

Question: What does it give? Let us say I have a lot of such records. What happens after that?

Answer: You will be made up of them, that is all. In this way, you will bring out in yourself a heart, consisting of the good deeds of other people.

Question: Let us say I have the good that my friend did to me carved on my heart. And if he suddenly does something bad to me, how will it change me?

Answer: You will wash it off.

Question: Can I do it?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So the more good records I have on my heart about this friend, the faster I will be able to wash away the bad things that will come from him?

Answer: This is also true.

Comment: Today, many people write letters to you and you keep saying that the Creator is kind and does only good. And now you are saying: “This is what should be carved on the heart.” Exactly that.

My Response: Yes.

Comment: But that is difficult to carve, you look at the world and…

My Response: Imagine that you are in the state all the time when you feel that the Creator is kind and does good to you and to everyone. How sweet it becomes to live!

Comment: Sweet if you can break yourself.

My Response: You do not break yourself. You raise such an attitude toward the Creator in yourself, above your animal.

Comment: But you understand that my animal feels all this horror that is happening around.

My Response: Teach it that this is not what is necessary to perceive in life, but instead the good that is manifested in the meantime.

Question: If I do this as an exercise, that all the time I try to imagine the Creator as kind, doing good, and to write that on my heart, will this happen?

Answer: Then it will happen of course. You will exist this way.

Question: And will I be able to justify everything, what is happening around me, and so on?

Answer: Gradually.

Question: But will I?

Answer: Yes, you will.

Question: Can this be taken as practical advice?

Answer: Of course. It is all practical.

Question: So is the main conclusion that we write down all the good things and carve them on our hearts?

Answer: Perceive life as the best thing a person has because he receives it directly from the Creator. And everything that he cannot perceive in this way, he should relate to the opposite quality of nature, which is given to us so that we change ourselves and perceive everything as absolute good.

The Origins of Science Fiction

294.1Question: What stimulates science fiction writers who suddenly start writing something that becomes real later?

Answer: For example, Rabbi Shimon was a concrete and very great person. But he could not express his thoughts in such a way that others could understand him at least partially. Even if people did not understand, then they could use what he presented 2,000 years later.

Therefore, he had a student, Rabbi Abba, who expressed the words of Rabbi Shimon in a general way. This is how The Book of Zohar was written.

What Rabbi Shimon said, we do not know, because he expressed his thoughts on a slightly different level, and Rabbi Abba expressed them closer to us as if cultivating the too lofty speech of Rabbi Shimon.

The fact is that the soul of Rabbi Abba was from the surrounding light. That is, he had a quality that allowed him to express everything in such a way that we, his descendants, would understand in 2,000 years.

The same is true with science fiction writers. Their souls are from the surrounding light. They can feel, comprehend, and express their dreams, thoughts, conjectures, and desires in the form of fantasy devices and living conditions. This is a quality of the soul.

Move Away from the False Perception of Life

537Question: Why do we believe that there are reincarnations of souls?

Answer: What does reincarnations mean? We are a single thought, one collective soul. This thought remains. This soul remains. Nothing changes. Only the picture we imagine changes; meaning, we do not exist in the thought itself, but in this picture as an imprint of that thought within it.

In other words, I have a soul that is a thought, and there is a body or our world that is a picture that is currently being shown to me.

We live in some kind of illusionary, imagined world. Actually, it does not exist. It is projected to us from various projectors, and we exist in this holographic or laser image, which is as if suspended in the air, in space.

But all this is projected by thoughts. Gradually, we need to move away from our false perception of life.
And when the question about the meaning of life awakens in us, it means that we are beginning to become human. We begin to connect with the thought.

Question: You describe the influence on me of these projectors, thoughts, and everything else that shapes my perception. I understand that, but why does material perception prevail in me?

Answer: Because you must connect back through the thread to your projector that projects you onto this world by yourself by reaching your root or locking onto it at least to some extent, and begin to understand the meaning of your life, influence how this projector will now shape you in our world, and gradually gravitate toward it.

Question: Is it impossible and even undesirable for a person to build it all in his fantasies, i.e., to play along?

Answer: Why not? Let him play. I only welcome it. Movies like The Matrix and others nevertheless develop our imagination by showing us that there are possibilities of states in the world that gradually bring people closer to the probability of these possibilities.

Should One Believe in Dreams?

49.01Question: Why does a person need dreams?

Answer: Dreams are in some way an overload of the brain, a sorting out of the impressions experienced by a person that need a certain sensory and mental rearrangement within him.

Question: People have even compiled dream books; books that explain dreams and predict the future. You dreamed it, so it will be like this. What are these dreams that come true?

Answer: I personally don’t believe in it; I never delve into it and have nothing to do with it. It was the same with my teacher. When I asked him anything about it, he said that Kabbalah has nothing to do with dreams or their explanation.

Question: You once told me that your teacher Rabash predicted the future, and then it came true. Does an ordinary person some kind of maneuver in life? Or should he not believe the predictions and think about it?

Answer: I do not know what to say about this. The fact is that one day my fellow student visited a fortune teller, who, among other things, said about our common teacher Rabash that she no longer sees him beyond 1994. And so it turned out, although there were no prerequisites for this.

Question: Did you talk about this with Rabash?

Answer: Yes. He said he didn’t want to take it into account. That is, the correct approach of a person walking the spiritual path is not to take such things into account.

They’re Already Here!!!

928Question: Many films are being released now that more or less correctly talk about the perception of reality. Does this have something to do with the dissemination of Kabbalah?

Answer: This is due to the development of egoism, which is looking for and actually anticipates that its next level goes beyond our dimension.

Comment: But now it is already perceived normally. If you had talked about this ten years ago, people would have doubted it. But today there are a lot of explanations why we perceive ourselves this way.

My Response: But the common person still looks at you strangely or thinks: “What do I care about what exists?! It may be there, but what have I to do with it?”

Until aliens arrive, as they say: “They are already here!!!,” while they are still flying to us and will fly millions of space years, we will not worry.

There Is Nothing But a Thought

231.01Question: Where did the concept of “thought” come from?

Answer: This is a consequence of the fact that we are people who have a spark of light in them. An animal does not think about whether it exists or not. It just exists and that is it.

There are people who also exist because they exist, and that is it. They are still at this level. In principle, a person becomes a person when he begins to understand that he must attain the meaning of life. It means to attain the only thought that exists in nature.

And there is nothing else. This is just a representation, a presentation of this thought regarding us as well as its parts, when we cannot grasp, realize, and feel this thought and somehow work with it.

Therefore, we can only capture it in the form of our world, volumes, and objects until we begin to rise from the material world by constant Kabbalistic attainment into such spheres where we can already feel the thought itself and work with it. There is nothing but a thought.
