Intention is the only thing that depends on us. Galgalta ve Eynaim (GE) in Israel, those who aspire directly to the Creator (Yashar El), has nothing but intention. GE doesn’t actually need anything except intention since it represents a liaison between the lower one and the upper Upper. The Upper is in a state of smallness (Katnut); the only thing that the lower one has in its possession is a Reshimo and the upper Upper is in the state of adulthood (Gadlut).

At first, illumination from above awakens the lower one’s Reshimo; then it raises its demand to the Upper. The Upper directs the Reshimo to his Upper, and in return the upper Upper sends the Returning Light to the Upper. Then, the Upper enters a state of adulthood (Gadlut), acquires AHP, and begins influencing the lower by transforming it from a “single-point Reshimo” into a state of smallness.

Thus, the Upper in essence is the intention of the calculation, whereas the Lower is the action, a state of receiving, a vessel, a desire.

Accordingly, both states of smallness and adulthood in the Upper refer specifically to the intention, to its essence: a small “donkey” and a big “donkey,” a small man and a big man. The intention that the Upper builds varies depending upon the request that it receives from the Lower.

The Lower demands actions: “Give me! Do it for me!” Here, you need to coordinate these demands with the Upper, matching it, and then the Light that Reforms gradually changes the Lower and becomes the “body” for the Partzuf’s “head.”

One way or the other, the Upper Galgalta ve Eynaim and AHP get “synchronized” with the intention. Israel doesn’t perform this action; Israel only directs the commonality.

This explains why we are obligated to manage unity among people. Otherwise, where will they get the force for this? If they find the strength to unite without our help, it would turn into a “gathering of disdainers” or an “assembly of criminals” and would cause a lot of harm. That’s why we have to clearly and firmly work with the world so that everybody understands what we are doing.

We explicitly clarify that it’s our special methodology. Other than us, nobody can attain positive results by just copying our method. On the contrary, if they persist, in a half a year to a year, their attempts will lead to negative results.

Our methodology has nothing to do with mysticism or coaching, or anything else like that. It is unity that we build with the help of the upper force. Others can claim similar ideas, but this methodology is solely ours. It must be utterly clear.

Only our friends who are trained and qualified will be able to lead people to unity, since they themselves are united into groups, work on enhancing unity with their friends, and are connected with the upper force through their teacher. So, they are the ones who can be the conductors of this process. Moreover, we acknowledge that there is a group within the Upper, but let’s talk about this next time.

Baal HaSulam, “Exile and Redemption”: The Creator will evidently show us that Israel cannot exist in exile, and will find no rest as the rest of the nations that mingled among the nations and found rest, and assimilated in them, until no trace was left of them.

Physically, the people of Israel carry a spiritual duty and must work on themselves in order to implement their mission in life. Today, the concept of “Israel” is defined not by birth but by the inclination of a person to reveal the Creator. Those who have this predisposition are named in accordance with their vector, Yashar-El, directly to the Creator. Those who aspire to fulfill their mission stand apart from the general masses.

Also, due to two thousand years of exile and mingling with other nations, this part has expanded by adding the ones who, in the material sense, come from other backgrounds.

Thus the inner “core” is surrounded by those who happened to achieve spiritual attainment in their prior lives. They retain special Reshimot and are guided by the “unpleasant” upper governance that sends predicaments and hardships to them.

Finally, the external circles consist of “the nations of the world” that are arranged in accordance with their spiritual roots.

The entire structure, in essence, is spiritual. However, so far, we can see only the bodies rather than the souls. We associate people with their bodies, which are born, live their lives, suffer, multiply, and then die and turn to ashes.

In fact, bodies are a simple projection of a spiritual process at its lowest material level. As an example, imagine an operating system chain that is comprised of 125 windows. At this time, in our perception, we only can see the first window that displays just physical objects: stones, trees, mountains, animals, the sun, the moon, stars, and much, much more, including people.

We see the entire world that is just a depiction of the upper realm. That is where the roots i.e., the forces that draw the current picture on our screen, are planted. Using neurobiological terms, I’d say that the picture on this material plane is being created in the back of our brains by electric impulses. This makes possible the projection of the deeper worlds that take the shape of this material externality and we can view only one window, one level, at a time. Our five senses do not allow us to discern anything beyond that.

If we want to see the cause, the true picture, we must develop five bestowing senses. This transition is made by the Surrounding Light, which we trigger with the help of the group, by studying the wisdom of Kabbalah, and doing everything it takes. The path is open.

In the meantime, we live in only one “image” of our world, and we reincarnate in it until we reach the next level. At this point, each part separately and all of them together are “tuned” to elevate us internally and bring us closer to a screen that shows a deeper image. Everything exists only for this purpose. Everything is coordinated. In other words, whatever goes on in the world is synchronized with each one of us. A transition to a higher level is the purpose of everything that ever comes about.

Which elements of the picture that we currently see can facilitate this process? At each level, we see parts of inanimate (I), vegetative (V), animate (A) and speaking (S) nature. So, our task is to choose the speaking level and split it into components that can be used.

In general, there are three components. We already have named all of them: 1. those who aspire directly to the Creator (Israel), 2. the Jewish people, and 3. the nations of the world. In order to ascend, one should keep a close connection with Israel since this part pursues the same goal as all of us do, that is, transitioning from one screen to another.

As to “the Jews,” their Reshimot are still asleep;  the Reshimot exist, but have not appeared, whereas in the “nations of the world,” these Reshimot remain in a potential, they have never appeared since they received them solely as a result of a mutual inclusion with the people of Israel that scattered throughout the world after the destruction of the Temple, that is, after the shattering of vessels occurred.

We illustrate this with the structure of a vessel that consists of two major parts: Galgalta ve Eynaim (GE) and AHP. At first, (1) GE is in a primary state of bestowal. It corresponds to Israel before destruction. AHP stands for the nations of the world, which are in the state of receiving.

In its second state, Israel descends to the nations of the world, and throughout two thousand years they mingle with each other.

Then, the Light that Reforms (the Surrounding Light, Ohr Makif – OM) begins its work. It influences a pile of broken vessels and they begin waking up.

We don’t know where they come from: the ten missing tribes of Israel, the captive parts of the people of Israel, or the nations of the world. Actually, it doesn’t matter. The main thing is that they want to rise and become Galgalta ve Eynaim. That is, they desire to bestow. It’s as if one suddenly wakes up and this mission becomes more important to him or her than all the “quagmire” of this material existence.

At that point, those who ascend to bestowal are called Yashar El (directly to the Creator) according to their intention and to what they cherish.

Others split into two parts: “Israel in exile” and the nations of the world. The Surrounding Light primarily influences the parts of Israel since it’s their responsibility to correct others.

Consequently, our work with the world must be coordinated with this pyramidal structure. On the top are those who aspire to the Creator (Israel), then come the “Jews.” Both parts have Reshimot, either in their explicit or “silent” forms. The upper part is already walking its spiritual path, whereas the other part will join them only under pressure or out of desperation since these are the two parts that are contrary to the nations of the world and that bear the burden of correction.

Generally speaking, today the entire system is transitioning to a new phase. Previously, the Jews excelled others in many spheres of life. Currently, other nations have started prevailing. The situation constantly changes. The nations’ desires manifest now more openly with each passing day, and that’s why they succeed all over the world. In a little while, we’ll see the Jews gradually fade in the endeavors of this material realm, whereas the nations of the world, on the contrary, will prevail. They will replace the Jews in things that are associated with material success, while the Jews will continue attaining a higher level.

This explains why the people of Israel anticipate disasters that are of an internal nature; if they want to change and are not able to do this on their own, they will need the Creator on the correct path of acceleration, or, God forbid, there will be further misfortunes imposed by the nations of the world.

In this world, Israel will stay in pretty good shape with the exception of experiencing animosity from other nations. This is the way the upper governance manifests Itself. If one doesn’t correct what one must, then it turns into a factor of coercion. This means that if Israel doesn’t correct its interpersonal relationships and doesn’t bring people to unity, which, in fact, is a place of the revelation of the Creator, then it will become the source of troubles and misfortunes that will come from the nations of the world in their worst and yet unprecedented forms.

It’s a law. There is nothing we can do about it, unless we do our job properly. The job is to self-elevate and then pull others forward by disseminating the wisdom of Kabbalah and by spreading the methodology of integral education that will unite people and teach them the ways to love their neighbors as themselves.

The duty to correct automatically falls on those who aspire to the Creator and whose Reshimot already have woken up. They have no chance to escape since the law is preordained. Besides, this duty is imposed on the Jews as a nation.

Moreover, in the course of correction, when it reaches a certain level, the Jews who bear the Reshimot that are associated with the destruction of the first temple and not the second temple will emerge, the ten lost tribes. They have never experienced further shattering and thus comprise cleaner vessels, whereas we belong to a heavier part since we went through the shattering twice.

The Light descends to the vessels of Galgalta ve Eynaim and then through the Jews reaching the nations of the world. On the other hand, we must conduct dissemination not only in Israel but in other countries as well, directly among other nations since, as Baal HaSulam writes, without doing this the Jewish people won’t get out of the exile.  After all, their only goal is to deliver the Light to others, to be a “Light to the nations.” So first we must awaken a desire in the nations of the world (1). Only then will the deliverance of Israel take place (2).

Question: On the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), the properties of judgment (Dinim) come to power. What are they?

Answer: We want to bestow, but we are unable to. It’s as if something holds us and doesn’t let us. This something is a revelation of the properties of judgment, a restriction.

We feel these properties when planning to do good deeds. Our bad actions, on the contrary, have no limits. We can be as wicked as we want. But with bestowal, it is a big problem for us. As soon as we become concerned with any selfless good deed, we immediately have doubts, calculations, conditions, and limits. We simply are incapable of sharing or giving away anything at all… That’s what the properties of judgment are.

Question: How can we be rid of these restrictions? After all, this is what people think about during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Answer: If the people of Israel would really want to remove these restraints, they would ask for deliverance of the forces that prevent them from committing good deeds and that prevent them from being good and loving to their neighbors, if we cried about our inability to live in a state of a mutual guarantee, to maintain an atmosphere of brotherhood, and to love our friends, everything would be different today.

However, the situation is what it is: Our people are rejected, hated, and surrounded by enemies on all sides. The whole world is against us and the accusations pour relentlessly from all sides. Other nations are pardoned despite their heinous crimes that often don’t even hit the headlines. But Israel is in the focus of a watchful eye, and even the tiniest faults provoke cries of outrage all over the world. Why is that so?

If the people of Israel don’t stick to true qualities of judgment, they get restricted. No appeals to justice will help them. For something that others would be lightly criticized, Israel will be blamed, prosecuted, and punished. Because this nation has a special mission and comparison to others is useless.

And yet, people do not understand this. When they pray for something for the next year, they don’t ask for bestowal, but rather request good earnings. That’s why even bigger troubles will await us in the next year. We will face much tougher qualities of judgment that will be heavily aggravated by the “time of Messiah” that has already come, when we have to aspire to unity and mutual connection. Nature (the Creator) forces us to unite and demonstrate our unity to the entire world. However, in our prayers to the Creator, we ask Him to fill our personal pockets rather than our common vessel. We need money and power. For how long will it go on?

If we desired to bestow but lacked this ability, we would feel internal restrictions—our own flaws that prevent us from giving. Then, we would receive the Reforming Light. The main prayer in Rosh Hashanah is to see the Creator on the throne. And yet what is “the Creator” if not the quality of bestowal and love? Do we really elevate this property to sit on the “throne”? Of course not! We cherish different values.

This process takes time, but we cannot wait any longer. We have to educate and enlighten people since the time has already come.

Question: Why does the Creator need a “middleman,” Israel, between Him and His creation?

Answer: The material (matter) by itself is Malchut, a desire to receive, nothing more, which can only respond to pleasant and unpleasant effects in a straightforward, predetermined manner. It cannot bring any updates in nature.

If I build some kind of mechanical, electrical system that responds to my influence, it cannot be considered a “new creation.” After all,  it’s based on our thoughts, sensations, intellect, and attitude. If it’s built correctly and if we are its creators and if it’s completely under our control, then it’s just a part of us and there is nothing new or different about it. We made it the way we wanted it to be.

This explains why still, vegetative, and animate nature, as well as those people who lead a purely material life cannot be called “creation,” since they are governed directly from above. When pricked, they scream “Ow!” and when patted, they enjoy, “Ah!” Except for “Ow!” and “Ah!” there is nothing more they can do—either suffer or enjoy. Their reaction to pain or delight is obvious and predictable. Where is the creation in this picture?

Creation is one in whom there is a part of the Creator, and because it is already there, there is a certain opposition,conflict, a gap, a delta between the properties of the Creator and creation. If we can work with these two parts correctly, then between them a zone of “freewill” emerges, a special place where we do not depend on the Creator nor do we hinge on the material He created; we are positioned at the borderline between them.

This neutral zone is called “the middle third of Tifferet.” It’s a point that is considered to be true creation. We still have to work to attain this state, but at least we already know where to look for it and how to tune to it. Somewhere in the middle between the Creator and creation (not true creation but a material creation) there is a state that embraces both opposites and at the same time is not dependent on either of them.

We cannot yet comprehend what it is, but eventually we reach this state. When working with the general public, we are working with the material creation. The Creator is the force with which we want to perform the action. By that, we transform ourselves into “creation.” This has never happened before in the history of humanity; this process did not begin until today. Only after we achieve it will we be able to call ourselves “people,” “sons of Adam,” “similar” (Domeh) to the Creator.

Question: We say that the Temple is “located” in the human heart. What does that mean?

Answer: The Temple is the center of the connection of the people. It teaches us to unite and contains the properties that demonstrate how everything should be realized.

Why do we use the phrase “destruction of the Temple” instead of saying the “destruction of the country?” We say it because the Temple was a spiritual basis, a place where the unification process had stopped. It took place seventy (70) years before the Temple was destroyed.

Seventy (70) years stand for 7 Sefirot, 10 years in each Sefira. The Nation gradually descended these steps until it reached Malchut: Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut… Here the destruction of the Temple (shattering of unity) occurred. It was known well in advance.

It means that people stopped bringing genuine sacrifices to the Temple, meaning the ones that lead to unity. They started to emphasize: “It was I who made a sacrifice.” The “I” (our egoism) is something that interferes and destroys all Temples. It’s the cause of destruction.

Today, a special condition has developed in the world caused by the fact that the spiritual and the material are converging. And to the extent that our actions are consistent with the current stage, we influence our own destiny.

Over the past two thousand years, this has not happened. The period of exile of the people of Israel lasted until now, which it had to pass through by suffering. Baal HaSulam says that a premature exit from the Egyptian exile after two hundred and ten years, instead of four hundred, became the root of all subsequent exiles.

Either way, you need to go through all the stages of the path. The breaking itself, the destruction of the Temple, defines this situation, where you are not the master but the dependent who is to experience everything through whatever comes to him.

And the people of Israel have experienced, lived through, these two thousand years until it came to their end. Today, a new, opposite stage, a new birth begins. The crisis (in Hebrew: Mashber) is birth. And so it is the time to rise to our feet.

The first time in two thousand years, our current actions, both material and spiritual, based on physical strength and the power of intention, determine our destiny. And it is determined in two ways: either carrying out the development in its time or speeding it up, one of the two. It was not like that previously, this “fork” appeared just now.

That’s why the world manifests its “round,” interconnected nature, and we discover that we are broken at the level of humanity, the people of Israel, everyone and all people. This period began with the first wave of Aliyah, the return to the land of Israel about 130 years ago, which was a sign of the new times. And now we have to get to work, knowing that the fate of the world is directly related to our efforts on the path of corrections.

And so today, during the Jewish New Year (Rosh HaShanah), when the attributes of judgment (Dinim) take effect, we have nothing to fear. If I am afraid that I will be exposed as an egoist, I have to understand that I finally have the opportunity to repay. I can carry out corrections, can ask for forgiveness, not just beat myself on the chest and shout nice words, but really wish to get rid of bad qualities.

Rav Kook, “The Purpose of Israel and Its Specificity”: The love of others is the most clarified feeling, and it is based on sensory perception. Indeed we should follow it and a person should prepare himself for this cause so as to be part of the life of others, and in this lies the whole point of individual morality.

Love of others is the rule that includes all of a person’s actions. In other words, he shouldn’t do anything if it doesn’t stem from the eruption and expansion of love. Otherwise, this action is not compatible with the Creator’s plan, and eventually it will lead to negative results. This is exactly how our initiatives are examined: If they are aimed at love of others, then it will work, and if not, then it will not work.

But how can we explain this to people? If they hear about it, they will say that they don’t need our preaching. They only want to live and enjoy life.

Still, we have to look for ways to reach their hearts, not in order to give them love, but in order to reach the love of the Creator. I will learn to love the Creator only if I learn to love the created beings first. I use the whole world only for the sake of the ultimate goal, which is love of the Creator.

What kind of love to the created beings is it if I just use them? Still, that’s the way it is. I really love them since only thanks to them do I reach the love of the Creator. The means becomes as important for me as the goal.

The great ego implies that I should rise above it since then I will attain something that is much bigger. It turns out that if we become greater egoists, we understand how to use our ego in a new more efficient way, and we don’t enjoy in it but above it. Then I will be like the Creator.

It is according to this healthy approach, without any illusions that I intend to use all of creation, including the Creator, since I will not continue to advance if I don’t reach the level of Pharaoh. I have to feel and to experience everything, but together with the right clarification, without vague illusions. I advance accurately without diverting from the goal.

It says: “A judge only has what his eye can see.” I approach every roadblock with the package of my attributes and I usually don’t have to get rid of it. I have nothing but the ego, and it evokes me to join the group, to annul before the friends, to be incorporated in them, to advance towards the Creator and to turn to the public. All these steps stem from my ego. Suddenly I understand that from now on I have to use it differently, not from the inside but above it.

How can we attain this? How can you benefit from the ego? We can do so with the help of the Surrounding Light. It will influence me and will give me a chance to rise above the ego. I don’t want it to limit me, since I already understand that I cannot perceive much in it. It only offers this world only, but I want more than that…

When I look at myself now, I see an animal that enjoys food, sex, family, comfort, tranquility, money, respect and knowledge. But above the animal level, I ask myself if I should rise a bit more. Then I receive a method that enables me to rise. Thus the greater ego evokes me more than all the other previous desires, and I advance above them.

This is the only way to grow without neutralizing my ego but by using it wisely. The whole course of development is aimed at turning us into greater egoists, but wise and not primitive ones. Other people are ready to settle for little. Give a person a million dollars in order to solve all his problems and he will feel satisfied and well off. But I don’t settle for that; I have to control the worlds. I am Pharaoh who declares “Who is the Lord that I should listen to Him? No, I will rule in His place!” This is the ego I will discover in me if I don’t stop on the way.

But this truth is revealed only to people who have the point in the heart, who have a spiritual potential; “This secret is revealed to them bit by bit.”

Question: How can I avoid making mistakes and not sink into the ego over my head? How can I know that I am on the right course?

Answer: If you are connected to us then you advance correctly. You can be sure only if you are in the right environment and want to be there; there is no other way.

The problem is not in feeling weak and lacking the understanding, but when a person adds other methods. A person is not a hindrance to himself, but if he begins to catch external “viruses,” he will not succeed.

All of reality except for us is found in a state of rest and waits for our work. Everything is seemingly evolving and changing at every moment, yet without any free choice. The result of the cooperation between the Light and the Kli that is found opposite to it, is projected, extended, and evolved downward, and influences the world more and more.

 

 The link between the Light and the Kli in the meantime is created without our participation, without an attempt to establish a proper link between them. And if we don’t link them correctly, then these two lines of force will evolve further and further downward, in parallel to each other, and will influence us who are found between them.

The entire world is found in a field between these two forces, plus and minus: still, vegetative, animate, and speaking (humanity) and within it also Israel. The positive and negative forces evolve further and further from above to below, meaning they are revealed one against the other with greater and greater intensity, where the minus and the plus are made more opposed to each other.

And if we, with our free choice, cannot link and complete them in the right way, then they will descend to an even lower level and cause more and more trouble. As if there was a -10 tension opposite a +10 tension, and this becomes -100 opposite +100; that is, the opposition between them is made much greater. Therefore the troubles grow and become greater, and then we have no choice, and they oblige us to make some kind of link between the plus and the minus.

If we create a link like this, then the entire nature of the still, vegetative, animate, and all the nations of the world, also merit a more balanced supervision, which is to say a quiet life. There is no longer such strong opposition between the minus and the plus, rather the opposite; there is something that links them together. The positive force supplies intention and the negative force supplies desire, and if we combine intention and desire correctly, then all of of creation will enjoy the fruit of this covenant. That is how it works.

All of the negative egoistic forces, all the wicked (Nebuchadnezzar, Amalek, Hitler), which collectively are called “Pharaoh,” have no free choice. Therefore, there is nothing to curse or blame them for; rather, it is necessary only to understand that nobody can correct the situation except those who have free choice, that have a natural inclination towards correction of the world.

The Book of Zohar, Chapter “BeHukotai,” Item 30-31: There is an allegory about a man who loved his friend. He said: “Indeed, since I love you so much, I want to dwell with you.”

His friend asked: “How can I be sure that you will dwell with me?” Then, he took the most valuable belongings and brought them to his friend and said: “Here is a guarantee that I won’t ever part from you.” Similarly, the Creator wished to dwell with Israel. He took His precious Shechina, lowered Her to Israel and said: “Here is my pawn; it shows that I will never part from you.”

Even though the Creator was removed from us, His pawn is still with us since Shechina accompanies us in exile. We preserve His jewel, and when the time comes, He will ask us to return the pawn, and then He will come back and remain with us. Nevertheless while Israel is still in exile, Israel keeps the Creator’s pawn and will never abandon it.

The Creator made a desire to receive. He developed it with the help of the Upper Light and fulfills it endlessly. All other states exist only in the creation’s perception. The Creator stopped acting at the four stages of direct Light. He stopped at the stage of Malchut of the world of infinity. By acting this way, He “handed” Himself to the creation, and later on the creation started to act in order to attain the Creator, its Maker.

Therefore, all His actions are associated with creation. The Creator has given Himself as a “pawn” to creation by filling it with feasible revelations, love, and Light. The creation’s task is to attain the perfect potential state that can be achieved between the Creator and the creation. The entire development is just about this process.

That’s why it is said: “I, HaVaYaH, do not change” and “the Light is constantly in the state of an absolute stillness,” meaning that the Creator has already done His part of the work; He has settled Himself forever in the creation and merged with it infinitely. However, the creation has to perform several actions on its own in order to completely sense the One Who created it, Who fulfills it, with Whom it adheres, and then discover the “pawn” that the Creator left in it. So far, the pawn is hidden inside the creation and is waiting for the creation to disclose it, for its readiness to reveal the Creator by obtaining similar qualities to Him.

The entire concealment exists only when we look at it from the creation’s point of view. When we say that “the Creator is in concealment,” it is just words; in fact, the “ball” is in the creation’s hands. According to actual laws, the properties, and conditions that were passed to the creation by Him, everything depends only on the lower.

Of course, it is not in our power to change the basis of creation nor can we alter the original HaVaYaH. Our task is to rise to infinity in accordance with the same laws. At the same time, the speed and nature of our elevation depend solely on us. We can act freely within the boundaries of the law that defines the relationships between the Light and the desire until we finally find the Creator inside us; realize that He is already present, and that He waits for us to reveal Him. So, on one hand, everything happens in accordance with the upper laws, which is why we study the chapter called “BeHukotai”; however, we are the ones who are supposed to reveal the Light.

Rav Kook, “The Purpose of Israel and Its People’s Specificity”: There is a need for much studying in many generations that lays the beginning of the high ideal of serving the Creator, given to Israel. Its goal is the elevation of the entire humanity.

It can only be raised through the elevation of the people of Israel—the people who started to illuminate the darkness of the world and have to finish what was begun. Only in its own light, clearly realizing its importance and mission, will it learn how sublime and beautiful this goal is.

Question: The responsibility for the humanity imposes more responsibility on Israel and makes greater demands compared to internal, group work …

Answer: I need the group in order to get power from them. The group is my upper. I constantly recharge my “battery” in the group; I meet with our common power in it, with the Creator, and based on that, I appeal to a wide audience.

The group is “Israel” from which environment I can go out to the people, to all of humanity. To keep in touch with the task, with the goal, with the Creator, with the method of correction, with the force that unites us—the force of love and support between us—I have to be in the group. Otherwise, I just have nothing with which to “reach out to people” because I have neither strength nor the right approach.

Question: So in his articles about the group, did Rabash want to explain to us how to be “recharged” by friends to transfer energy further?

Answer: Of course. In general, every Kabbalist said as much as he could say to reveal in his generation. Therefore, Baal Shem Tov began to implement the method in the form of Hasidism, and then Rav Kook, Baal HaSulam and Rabash continued this revolution in spite of resistance.

Question: So today it is possible to reveal love and bring pleasure to the Creator only by working with a wide audience?

Answer: Yes. You come to a group and unite with the friends in brotherly love to gather strength and power and to take the right course to turn to the masses. It is among them that you will discover the need for the Creator. Your relationship with Him will be manifested there. There, among the people, He dwells. “Do you want to find me? Please. I am there and nowhere else.”

This is the specificity of our time in the “era of Mashiach (Messiah)”; we begin to actually implement the method, going out to “the people.” We just prepare ourselves in the group, it gives us strength, but the action itself is carried out among the masses, where we are building the “Third Temple” from the broken vessels of the entire world.

That is why Baal HaSulam says that the deliverance of Israel is possible only after the whole world learns about the method of correction due to our work with the external audience. Just as Pharaoh knew the God of Israel and agreed to let the people go.

Working with external desires, we do not correct them all at once, but start the process of sorting and the correction of the vessels belonging to the worlds of BYA, and to the same extent come out of exile. After all, the “exile” for the vessels of bestowal is the inability to correct the world. “Deliverance” means that we can take the broken vessels of the worlds of BYA from humanity, raise them to the Creator, and thus bring Him pleasure by allowing you to open them.

In doing so, we ourselves are just intermediaries, the connecting link.
