The Jewish Organizations In The United States Are Useless

400Opinion (Daniel Greenfield): “After the Iran deal, American Jews turned to…the liberal Jewish organizations to whom they had written out so many checks over the years expecting them to do something about it.

  • “(…)American Jews are baffled to realize that the organizations they expected to help them are…worthless.
  • “(…)American Jewish liberalism is based on a comforting myth that in times of crisis, its organizations step up to the challenge, rescuing Jews from the Holocaust, saving Soviet Jewry and fighting for Israel.
  • “(…)Expecting it to do any more about Iran than be ‘deeply concerned’ is a formula for disappointment.”

My Comment: They are leaving Israel to its fate, and more than that, they have given up on Israel by voting against its existence. The American Jews have removed themselves from the community called the Jewish people. This “Prodigal Son,” or more precisely what remains of it, will return in the future with a request to accept it again. And in the meantime, the Israeli Jews have an obligation to carry out their role, to attain unity above their egoism, towards being “one people,” and in this way provide an example for the whole world, becoming one!

The Era Of Israel Begins

laitman_547_06Opinion (Interview with Dr Guy Bechor, source article): “The Stone Age didn’t end because they ran out of stones, rather it was because new technologies appeared and humans learned to work with metals. The age of oil is reaching its end in these days, and this is not because we have run out of oil, but because the gas revolution is happening.

“The lowering of the price of oil has led to a severe crisis in Russia and all over the Arab world, the shale spring will bring a collapse of the rest of the Arab world. The Arab nations will fall, powerful tribes will hold onto weaponry and will begin conquering cities and towns, killing and robbing. The economy of Dubai will collapse in the year 2015, Jordan will disappear within a year and for Iran we expect serious upheavals on an ethnic and political background. Hamas and Hezbollah will lose their power and influence. In a world in which there will be no lack of energy resources, there will be no money to maintain them. That is how the era of technology begins, something that will give strong advantages to Israel.

“The gas revolution will transform the United States into the greatest manufacturer of the production of oil and gas, something that leaves Middle Eastern policy in their hands. This is the beginning of the end of paradise for the valueless oil principalities, the feudal totalitarianism of the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, the economy of these nations was entirely based upon the price of oil. The citizens of these nations don’t work; all of the work for them is done by foreign workers. A structure like this will not maintain its position in a period of economic upheavals. And even though the principalities of the Arabian Peninsula will be supplied with sufficient money to hold onto their position for another few years, it is doubtful if within these few years they will be able to change and rebuild their economy. The moment that the money runs out, riots and unrest will begin.

“In another year or two the United States will be ready to export gas and oil, the Arab nations will become an energy source for competitors. The geopolitical priorities of the United States will change. So the Saudis are presently found in a panic, because their foreign policy was based on American dependence on their oil. They will relinquish their financing of global terrorism, the violation of human rights and the absolute lack of democracy in their nations. A few years ago a barrel of oil rose to 150 dollars; since then the prices have lowered by two-thirds. At a price above 40 dollars per barrel, the production of energy from gas becomes more profitable. This means that the Saudis can return to their previous position only if they lower the price to 30 dollars per barrel.

“Russia is also experiencing a strong crisis because of this revolution. But the chance of changing and rebuilding the Russian economy are better than they are for our Arab neighbors, who have simply forgotten what it is to earn a living. The period of innovations, nano-technologies and high-tech has arrived, the beginning of the era of Israel; whether our neighbors like it or not.”

My Comment: In the meantime, Israel will arouse a much greater instability in the world than all of the other peoples and nations in the world together. As the wisdom of Kabbalah explains, this is happening precisely because the destiny of Israel is not the victory over our neighbors with innovations, nano-technologies, and high-tech, it is in demonstrating to the world the idea, theory, and practice of the union of everyone above the global ego. This method doesn’t exist for anyone except the people of Israel, and specifically this is what is required for the world, and not new technology, enrichment, and control. Specifically, if Israel will provide the gift of the technology of connection and union to the world, then it and the world will continue to exist!

Long Way To The Temple, Part 8

Dr. Michael LaitmanThe Entire World as a New Babylon

The Jews transferred their knowledge to the nations of the world. In return, they obtained other nations’ desires, needs, and thoughts—special forms of egoism that the Jews didn’t possess originally. As a result, the Jewish people descended even more.

The nations of the world represent the Babylonians who didn’t join Abraham in his spiritual elevation. Because the Jews were spread among the nations of the world for thousands of years, they acquired other peoples’ naturally developed egoism that they originally lacked.

Today, everybody possesses huge egoism. The knowledge that the people of Israel transferred to the nations of the world helped them develop, so they now depend on the Jewish people, forcing Israel to fulfill its mission.

The nations of the world constantly announce that the reason for all the world problems are the Jews, even though the latter comprise less than one percent of the world’s population. The Jews are, however, spread throughout the world and occupy key positions in industry, science, banking, with many Jews among Nobel Prize winners.

The Jews have a wide-range impact, but in the opinion of anti-Semites, their influence is harmful. What can be done? At this point, The Book of Zohar, which was written at the beginning of the last exile 2000 years ago helps us understand by explaining that the Jews must unite.

Now is the time to reach unity because the entire world has now reached the state of ancient Babylon when everybody was connected and interconnected. The Jews have brought humanity to interdependency by implementing the methodology of unity in industry, culture, education, banking, etc.

So, the idea of mutual connection descended to this world through the Jews who received it from the upper force, the force of connection, which was transferred to them from Abraham. If not for this continuity, it would never have happened. The force existed in ancient Babylon in its most natural and original state. However, as society continued to advance, the force kept vanishing, leaving humanity fragmented and detached.

People were glad to separate from others no matter whether they were in a forest or a desert. As they strived to detach from their neighbors, a state of unity was possible only due to the Jews who managed to develop industry, culture, and education.

This explains why today the Jews are the ones who must present a new methodology of unity to the world. In ancient Babylon, Abraham failed to attract the majority of Babylonians to his methodology, whereas today, it is our obligation to attain this state. Today, the Jews are actually in debt to the world, and so they must reach out and succeed in their efforts to transfer the methodology of connection to the world.

The People Of Israel In The Land Of Israel

laitman_933Baal HaSulam writes in the article, “Inheritance of the Land,” that we inherit the land of Israel when we are accommodated to it and become the people of Israel. This is not just coming to Israel, receiving citizenship, and that’s it, you are an inhabitant of Israel already. An inhabitant is  a person who has a place in this land.

Eretz Yisrael” (the land of Israel – “Eretz,” from the word “Ratzon” – desire) is a desire to be together with everyone, because Israel is a gathering of people who are connected and united together, as it is written: “All Israel are friends,” otherwise, this is not called “Israel.” So we are found in exile, outside of the land of Israel, and we are not called the people of Israel. “The people of Israel in the land of Israel” is a concept of unity, union, and connection because only this makes it possible for us to be in a state called, “The people of Israel in the land of Israel.”

The question is: how can we attain a desire like this, transforming into becoming one whole? And how is it possible to have one desire? After all, each one of us is very different from the others. This is particularly prominent in Israel: there are so many perspectives, extreme points of view. It is like a pie divided into thousands and thousands of pieces. And what can be done with them?

Moreover, to the extent of our development, when we are passing through so many different states, especially in recent years, each one of us feels how much his ego has grown, how far he is from the others. Basically, instead of coming closer, we are moving further away from each other. So when and how can we transform to become, “like one person with one heart,” “all Israel are friends”?

We see that other peoples get along with each other, more or less. But arguments and problems appeared with us even at the moment that we gathered together in this land. And these problems didn’t disappear, on the contrary, they became increasingly bigger and bigger, and we don’t know what to do with them. So our problem is: how can we overcome our ego that bubbles and erupts in everyone? And we see how mutual hatred is out of control.

Here the wisdom of Kabbalah provides a solution. First of all, it explains why nature developed us in the direction of the growth of the evil inclination, the ego, the strengthening of outbursts of anger in every person in his attitude towards others who are not like him. From year to year, all of these revelations only increase.  There was a time when the relationships between the religious and the secular, the relationships between the secular themselves and the relationships among all the religious were more peaceful. Today the relationships are becoming worse and worse.

The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that this is a correction from nature. To advance a person forward in his evolution, nature develops the ego in a person, a desire for pleasure, aggression, as these tendencies are necessary for a person to grow, but only on condition that he knows how to use all the extreme things that are awakened in him. So the suffering that we feel when we cannot attain the desired is necessary. And if that is how it is, so how is it possible that each one, having a big ego, can ultimately put up with others and connect with them into a single whole?

After all, it is written that the people of Israel can achieve peace and be a strong people accepted by everyone, and the whole world will calm down in relation to us and will stop attacking, pressuring, and hating us, only on condition that we become like a single whole. So how can we transform to become a single whole, both internally and externally, if our ego is growing all the time? At first glance this seems contradictory.

Question: What does it mean that “the ego grew”?

Answer: From year to year I feel that I want more and more, that I am not prepared to accept others more gently, with understanding, with agreement. In every one of us the same perpetrator is concealed, but in some individuals these inclinations are found to a lesser extent and aren’t even felt; they think of themselves as good people; whereas in others they break out, demand action, and so they kill and burn houses. But in principle, this is everyone’s problem. There is no such thing where something happens to one person that is not found in others. All the tendencies, all the characteristics are found in everyone.

So here the question is: how can we ultimately reach correction? The correction is that we become so close to each other that everyone accepts the others, each one is included in the others, even more than today, to such a degree that I understand the sufferings of others, their nature, their necessary behavior, and I accept them as they are.

Question: But isn’t this contrary to our growing ego?

Answer: If we leave everything as it is now, then it will only be worse. There is something to think about here, and we see this from many studies by psychologists and sociologists. So as the wisdom of Kabbalah says, to reach mutual acceptance we need education, a comprehensive education for all of the people. Only with the help of consistent and constant education that encompasses all of the people, that puts all of the problems of the people and the nation at the top, we will discover and know not only how to complement each other, but also to become a single whole.

In this single whole are both the Left and the Right, there are secular and religious, there are gays and straights, there are all kinds of parties and factions; it doesn’t matter who or what. But specifically thanks to this unique and integral education that the wisdom of Kabbalah recommends, we learn not just to complement each other, to concede to each other; rather, we see that all of these differences must exist. For the ego that grew in each and every person became even more opposed to others and wouldn’t accept them to such a degree that each one is ready to kill the other due to unfounded hatred, as it was before in the time of the destruction of the Temple.

But with the help of education the wisdom of Kabbalah recommends to us as a correction, we see how important each one is, like ingredients in a salad.  Each one has his place, and specifically with the acceptance and not the correction of someone’s characteristics. Only education will help us; it knows how to connect us. And nobody needs to change; everyone needs to receive this education, so it is called integral. Then we will see how important each one is, and we will not think that if we were to correct someone things would be better for us, as sometimes happens in a family. Suddenly we would see that all of us are one family, everyone has his role and all complement each other. But education is what must give this to us.

Integral Education, which the wisdom of Kabbalah offers, can give us a vision like this, and then everyone gradually, with understanding, will begin to accept each other, will know why our ego grew so strong, for this is the higher program of nature that is realized in us in this form, and in any case, it obligates us to complement each other; otherwise, we will simply kill each other.

That is how we understand why our ego is growing all the time, so that our connection will be much more powerful, strong, conflicting, so that within this conflict we will create the united people of Israel, a single whole. Then we will feel that we exist as the people of Israel in the land of Israel, that we have truly returned to our land as one united people.

Israel Must Use The UN

laitman_547_04Opinion (Dr Guy Bechor): “On the fifth year of the Middle Eastern destruction, which is going to last for decades, it’s time to determine that the United Nations has become irrelevant here, except in regards to one country, which is the last remnant of the old regional order – Israel. It’s time to use the UN as an offensive tool, not just as a defensive tool.

“It’s time to move the warfare into enemy territory. From now on, the UN institutions should be flooded with complaints, reports and information about the destruction taking place around us… We should embarrass them, just like they seek to embarrass us… Israel shouldn’t defend itself, it should attack. That way, it will be able to ‘trade’ for the first time in its history in the UN – in other words, reduce the offense dosage in return for a similar dosage reduction among the Arab parties, which know exactly what will happen when the truth about them is revealed in the West…the world will understand that Israel is a fortress of democracy and human rights… . That way, the world will understand where the paradise of the Middle East is and where its hell is.”

My Comment: What naïveté! The world is well aware and completely justifies all these crimes because opposition to Jews and Israel are not crimes, but correct conduct, valor.

The whole world is conspiring to annihilate Israel, moreover they don’t need to reach a mutual understanding in connection to this; it is instinctively understood among the nations of the world as it has been throughout history.

Only through our correction (union and connection between us) can we transfer this state to the world, and then, and only then, will they begin to respect us and come to us because we can give the world what is so necessary, and which no one else can give besides us—the union and the disclosure of the next level of development of humanity within that union.

Research In A Kids’ Sandbox

Laitman_079_02Question: Why did Kabbalists prevent the spread of ordinary science among the Israeli nation?

Answer: Kabbalists did not prevent the spread of science, it simply developed to the extent that it was necessary. After all, before the destruction of the Temple the whole nation engaged in spiritual attainment in absolute devotion. Why should they have studied insects in the jungle or electricity?

External science explores how we should work with different expressions of the Light in this world on the lowest level. It is useless if I can work directly with the Creator, with the same phenomena on a higher level. There I am actually incorporated in the actions and work with the phenomenon, and that is a huge difference.

Compared to this sublime work, external science is simply a game in a kids’ sandbox. This is the reason that the nation of Israel did not engage in science beyond what was necessary for building or in order to satisfy the needs of the body. What is the point in dealing with it any more than that?

There were people who knew how to process leather, how to prepare food, and how to build houses, how to do anything that was a basic necessity, but not more than that: for a living, for the family, for the next generation. It was impossible to live without it and so they had to provide those needs.

But money, respect, and knowledge are human desires that lead to a breach in society and were therefore kept on a minimal level. It was only after the Israeli nation was exiled that they gradually began to descend lower and lower.

They couldn’t engage in anything else when they were in exile and so they engaged in anything that was possible, especially in commerce and in developing the banking system since they could engage in that everywhere and it gave them a sense of security. They could secure their future this way.

Thanks to the fact that the Jews dispersed all over Europe and the Middle East, they could establish a network similar to the modern integral network in commerce, industry and finance. They began to build it more than 2000 years ago. If a Jew from Spain reached Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, or the countries in northern Europe he could always find Jews there with whom he had a common language; he could find a place to live, to understand their lives and they could understand him.

This was not the case among other nations. There were only small villages in Europe which were so far away from one another. On the other hand, it was easy for the Jews to build such systems because they felt that they belonged to one nation, to one Creator; they studied from the same books and read the same prayers. Moreover, they never knew what the future would bring. If you are a person that can be counted on because you fear the Creator, I can leave a sum of money that I have saved for times of trouble. If something should happen, I can always come to you and you will give me back what is mine.

This is how the systems of commerce and industry developed. There was no need for external sciences because they had their own system. Books were transferred from place to place. It was a very strong network. This is actually how humanity began to wake up and advance from the age of barbarism.

Who Determines The State Of The World?

laitman_259_02In the last few decades the world entered into a period of crisis, just like the world experienced in ancient Babylon. Specifically then the Jews began to exist as a single united people, and after that fell from this level and were scattered throughout the world.

The wisdom of Kabbalah warns about the recurrence of the general world crisis, so it simultaneously offered an instruction manual and guidebook that explains what the Jews must do to again reach union, becoming a beacon for the nations and bringing the world to the good.

If now, when we have become separated, we willingly begin to connect, this will establish the good way for the world to achieve its mission. All of the leading anti-Semites understood very well that we determine the state of the world; they rebuked and condemned us for not fulfilling our role. So if we wish good for ourselves and for all of humanity and we want to put an end to anti-Semitism, we need to remember that everything depends only on us and not on the world. The world is only the result of our internal state.

Don’t Correct, Unite!

laitman_936Question: You say that we don’t need to correct anyone in order to unite, what does that mean? We have witnessed terrible atrocities by murderers and criminals lately. Don’t we have to correct these people?

Answer: No, we should only let such people understand that they need everyone else, and everyone should remain the way they are and should only have to connect and unite. If a person hates someone, he has to ascend above the feeling of hate and try not to remove it or get rid of it by killing others, since if he does so he doesn’t get rid of the hate, but rather intensifies it even more. It it is written: “love will cover all the sins.” Sins refer to the differences between us, which remain but which we cover by love.

See how nature works: minus and plus connect; molecules are formed and their combinations give birth to different creatures, protein bodies, etc. All the differences, the oppositeness and the contradictions between them remain, but they know how to connect correctly in order to complement one another. This is the whole secret.

We have to do the same on the human level, in our consciousness, and then our life will be wonderful. It is actually the connection between all of mankind who are so different from one another that the upper state is revealed. We will discover the future world, life according to the soul not according to our corporeal body, above our protein corporeal life. It is actually by our thoughts, desires, and our different attributes that the one body called the soul, which is one for all, is built when they complement each other in order to connect. Then everyone begins to feel the upper state, the upper world.

The Essential Commodity Of The Jews

laitman_214We are approaching a major crisis—financial, military, leadership, and political—a universal crisis fraught with the collapse of core systems. All of the top universities, a huge army, leading banks, and thousands of tons of gold in the vaults—none of this will help.

If connection between systems is severed, everything falls apart. Likewise, an organism also dies if healthy organs are deprived of interconnection due to a failure of the nervous, circulatory, or lymphatic systems.

This is exactly what is happening today in every country and in relations between countries, and only we can bring back to life the vital systems of the global body. We are doctors who will hook them up to an IV and revive the connections, domestic and international. This is the only way the world can survive.

This method is rooted in us, in the wisdom of Kabbalah, and we are approaching the stage when it will be necessary to implement it within the people of Israel, and then, by way of example, pass it on to others. Everyone will have a need for it: America, China, India, Russia, the Islamic world, and Europe. It will become our core commodity.

I hope that in the next two or three years, if not sooner, humanity will realize that this is the only thing it needs. Moreover, people will see that only Jews have it, and they will come to us with the most important demand, the age-old grievance of anti-Semites, “This is what you have, but you are not giving it to us.” At last, we will be glad to share our assets.

Question: What exactly is this commodity?

Answer: It is a method of connecting people from which arises the unity of people and governments, of all parts of a nation, of all parties and movements. Let everyone have their own opinion and their own direction, but we will learn to unite above everything, as it is written, “love covers all transgressions.”

Then, every country will become unified as one, after which it will understand how it can complement the others, and thus international unity will arise. Thus, all of humanity will become truly one whole.

It is written about this, “…for they shall all know Me from their smallest to their greatest,” and “…My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” This is what we need to come to. Therein is the salvation of the nation of Israel. It is not with America, but with each other that we need to build correct relationships, and only then will we save ourselves and the entire world.

Our real weapon, the true means of salvation, is the method of connection, the wisdom of Kabbalah. It structures our relationship with the world through a higher system of governance and through the providence of nature itself, the nature of creation. Through it, we can truly influence the entire world for the better.

People accuse us of wielding a secret power over the world, and indeed, we truly are capable of leading it, but only on condition that we do so responsibly, if we bring humanity to a good interconnection and a true universal unification.

Rav Laitman On Ynet – Who Are You, People Of Israel?

Hello Dear Readers,

I invite you to read my article published on Ynet on the subject of the role of the people of Israel.

“Who Are You People of Israel?”

Time and again, Jews are persecuted and terrorized. Being Jewish myself, I often ponder the purpose of this relentless agony. Some believe that the atrocities of WWII are unimaginable today. And yet, we see how easily and abruptly the state of mind preceding the Holocaust is re-emerging, and “Hitler was right” shouts are sounded all too often and all too openly.

But there is hope. We can reverse this trend, and all it requires is that we become aware of the bigger picture.

Where We Are and Where We Come From

Humanity is at a crossroads. Globalization has made us interdependent, while people are growing increasingly hateful and alienated. This unsustainable, highly flammable situation requires making a decision about humanity’s future direction. Yet to understand how we, the Jewish people, are involved in this scenario, we need to go back to where it all began.

The people of Israel emerged some 4,000 years ago in ancient Babylon. Babylon was a thriving civilization whose people felt connected and united. In the words of the Torah, “The whole earth was of one language and of one speech” (Genesis, 11:1).

But as their ties grew stronger, so did their egos. They began to exploit, and finally hate one another. So while the Babylonians felt connected, their intensifying egos made them increasingly alienated from each other. Caught between a rock and a hard place, the people of Babylon began to seek out a solution to their plight.

Two Solutions to the Crisis

The search for a solution led to forming two conflicting views. The first, suggested by Nimrod, king of Babylon, was natural and instinctive: Dispersion. The king argued that when people are far from one another, they do not quarrel.

The second solution was suggested by Abraham, then a renowned Babylonian sage. He argued that according to Nature’s law, human society is destined to become united, and therefore strove to unite the Babylonians despite, and atop their growing egos.

Succinctly, Abraham’s method was a way to connect people above their egos. When he began to advocate his method among his countryfolk, “thousands and tens of thousands assembled around him, and … He planted this tenet in their hearts,” writes Maimonides (Mishneh Torah, Part 1). The rest of the people chose Nimrod’s way: dispersion, as do quarrelsome neighbors when they try to stay out of each other’s way. These dispersed people gradually became what we now know as “human society.”

Only today, some 4,000 years down the line, we can begin to assess whose way was right.

The Basis of the People of Israel

Nimrod forced Abraham and his disciples out of Babylon, and they moved to what later became known as “the land of Israel.” They worked on unity and cohesion in accord with the tenet, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” connected above their egos, and thus discovered “the force of unity,” Nature’s hidden power.

Every substance consists of two opposite forces, connection and separation, which balance themselves out. But human society is evolving using only the negative force—the ego. According to Nature’s plan, we are required to consciously balance the negative force with the positive one—unity. Abraham discovered the wisdom that enables balance, and today we refer to his wisdom as, “the wisdom of Kabbalah.”

Israel Means Straight to the Creator

Abraham’s disciples called themselves Ysrael (Israel) after their desire to go Yashar El (straight to G-d, the Creator). That is, they wished to discover Nature’s force of unity so as to balance the ego that stood between them. Through their unity, they found themselves immersed in the force of unity, the upper, root force of reality.

In addition to their discovery, Israel also learned that in the process of human development, the rest of the Babylonians—who followed Nimrod’s advice, dispersed throughout the world, and have become today’s humanity—would also have to achieve unity. That contradiction between the people of Israel, which formed through unity, and the rest of humanity, which formed as a result of separation, is felt even today.

Exile

Abraham’s disciples, the people of Israel, experienced many internal struggles. But for 2,000 years their unity prevailed and was the key element that held them together. Indeed, their conflicts were meant only to intensify the love among them.

However, approximately 2,000 years ago, their egos reached such intensity that they could not maintain their unity. Unfounded hatred and egotism erupted among them and inflicted exile on them. Indeed, Israel’s exile, more than it is exile from the physical land of Israel, is exile from unity. The alienation within the Israeli nation caused them to disperse among the nations.

Back to the present, today humanity is in a state similar to the one the ancient Babylonians experienced: interdependence alongside alienation. Because we are completely interdependent in our global village, Nimrod’s solution of parting ways is no longer practical. Now we are required to use Abraham’s method. This is why the Jewish people, who previously implemented Abraham’s method and connected, must rekindle their unity and teach the method of connection to the whole of humanity. And unless we do it of our own accord, the nations of the world will compel us to do it, by force.

On that note, it is interesting to read the words of Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company, and a notorious anti-Semite, in his book, The International Jew — The World’s Foremost Problem: “Society has a large claim against him [the Jew] that he … begin to fulfill … the ancient prophecy that through him all the nations of the earth should be blessed.”

The Roots of Anti-Semitism

After thousands of years of exerting to build a successful human society using Nimrod’s method, the nations of the world are beginning to understand that the solution to their problems is neither technological, nor economic or militaristic. Subconsciously, they feel that the solution lies in unity, that the method of connection exists in the people of Israel, and therefore recognize that they are dependent on the Jews. This makes them blame the Jews for every problem in the world, believing that the Jews possess the key to the world’s happiness.

Indeed, when the Israeli nation fell from its moral apex of love of others, hatred of Israel among the nations commenced. And thus, through anti-Semitism, the nations of the world prod us to disclose the method of connection. Rav Kook, the first Chief Rabbi of Israel, pointed to that fact with his words, “Amalek, Hitler, and so forth, awaken us toward redemption” (Essays of the Raiah, Vol. 1).

But the people of Israel are unaware that they are holding the key to the world’s happiness, and that the very source of anti-Semitism is that the Jews are carrying within them the method of connection, the key to happiness, the wisdom of Kabbalah, but are not revealing it to all.

Mandatory Disclosure of the Wisdom

As the world groans under the pressure of two conflicting forces—the global force of connection, and the separating power of the ego—we are falling into the state that existed in ancient Babylon prior to its collapse. But today we cannot pull away form one another in order to calm our egos down. Our only option is to work on our connection, on our unity. We are required to add to our world the positive force that balances the negative power of our ego.

The people of Israel, descendants of the ancient Babylonians who followed Abraham, must implement the wisdom of connection, namely the wisdom of Kabbalah. They are required to set an example to the whole of humanity, and thus become a “light for the nations.”

The laws of Nature dictate that we will all achieve a state of unity. But there are two ways to get there: 1) a path of world suffering, wars, catastrophes, plagues, and natural disasters, or 2) a path of gradual balancing of the ego, the path that Abraham planted in his disciples. The latter is the one we suggest.

Unity Is the Solution

It is written in The Book of Zohar, “Everything stands on love” (Portion, VaEtchanan). “Love your neighbor as yourself” is the great tenet of the Torah; it is also the essence of the change that the wisdom of Kabbalah is offering humanity. It is the obligation of the Jewish People to unite in order to share the method of Abraham with the entire human race.

According to Rav Yehuda Ashlag, author of the Sulam (Ladder) commentary on The Book of Zohar, “It is upon the Israeli nation to qualify itself and all the people of the world … to develop until they take upon themselves that sublime work of the love of others, which is the ladder to the purpose of Creation.” If we accomplish this, we will find solutions to all the world’s problems including the eradication of anti-Semitism.
