Protracted crises are beginning right now; it is very difficult for people to sustain life today from an economic perspective; people need to make their income last an entire month to feed themselves, provide for themselves, create all the necessary conditions for their children, their family, and elderly family members. In such a case it would be wonderful to organize great communal meals.

Right now, our community is buying a new building, and we are planning to move there. I really want for the kitchen there to be operating from morning till night. And all the members of our community could bring their families there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This would be very convenient and would be five to ten times cheaper than at home. And most importantly, this unites and connects people and leads toward understanding that unity is beneficial in all instances of life.

I think that the current crisis will unwillingly “push” us towards these circumstances. And this is a good thing because man, a small egoistic being, will begin to understand that nature, from every angle, is showing him the way to act, just like animals who constantly adjust to nature, wishing to maintain themselves in their best condition.

This notion can be close to a person or not, depending on one’s personality. But the fact is that integral upbringing must naturally bring a person to this state.

By nature I am a lone wolf. I have my own office, which I would never want to leave and could live there my entire life. But once I have realized how important the meals are, I have felt what it is that they give me spiritually, how I grow at the same time, how I learn from communicating with others.

When I dine with my students, I learn integration from them. I have never experienced it before since I attained the spiritual space in a different way. But I see it here and feel it through them. This is a very interesting discovery for me.

This is the practice of a new state, the next dimension, when through this direct interaction, a person begins to create within himself absolutely new foundations of perception and regards the world in a completely different common, global way. He becomes accustomed to identifying with a community, and then automatically begins to identify himself with mankind, the world, and all of nature.

Question: Do you think that as a result of going through the integral education process a person could rise to the next level and remain a traitor, for example?

Answer: He will not remain a traitor! He will acquire new values, a new perception of reality, and it is the same thing, since reality is perceived by the sum of a person’s values. Why do I see one thing but I don’t see another? Why do I pay more attention to one thing and less attention to another? It happens according to the set of values that I have.

In fact, those I see as good are prisoners of their own sweet imaginings. These are in fact the most harmful and the toughest people, and they will be the last to reach correction.

In what way are they better than the thief you mentioned? They also steal, but differently. It is normal to take a few billions from the people for themselves; it means that they are successful. But if you steal are caught and put in prison, it means that you were not successful. Who is better, who is worse? Who causes others more harm and who causes less harm? We arrange everything in its place according to our set of values.

By acquiring a new sense, a new tool for understanding, a person will not behave like he did before. This is in fact what will take him out of his previous state.

A new system for feeling the world is created in him, and he already operates according to it. It is as if he has put on new glasses, has acquired new eyes, new ears, a new collective mind. He takes everyone into account, he cannot think about himself, but rather thinks about “us.” It is a new personality from a qualitative perspective, which up until now has never existed in nature. It is called Adam (human), a unified image.

My Comment: Restructuring, resetting, rebooting, no matter what, but everyone will have to listen to the relentless law of nature. Life develops and exist only due to the combination of two opposing forces “reception and bestowal” (egoism and altruism) in the middle point between them, in the middle line if we consider the point in motion. Instead of including egoism along with altruism, we should use it wisely, carefully including it in the property of unity, in altruism, for the development of integral relationships. In this case, we will develop in harmony with nature.

In teaching a person the integral laws, we have to turn him into a little scientist. He has to understand where he is, what really makes the world go round, and how nature fulfills everything. We are dominated by nature; we are not above it and not external to it. Where did we come from if not as a result of its plan and programming? We see that this plan and this programming do in fact exist.

People once thought that everything happened by chance or they attributed everything to the Creator or to another factor. Is there coincidence in nature? Everything is predetermined. There is no chance here! We think that there is coincidence because we see only half of the phenomenon without seeing the other half.

In nature, there are connections, grave and serious laws. We exist in them and thanks to them. Suddenly a person who lives in these laws, which sustain him says, “They don’t exist.” A person doesn’t even understand how deeply he is immersed in such nonsense, and at the same time he believes that he is smart.

How can you be above nature? Who are you?—some tiny person on the edge of a tiny galaxy? I understand that a small child believes that he is big, but if we look at ourselves from the side, then who are we? What are we? See what a storm or a tsunami does to everyone!

We are only great in one thing, in preparing weapons against ourselves, and in nothing else but that. What can we be proud of?! What do we create? Nothing good. Everything is only in order to destroy our environment and ourselves.

Where else can we see such an inclination, such a movement, in nature?! What kind of reason does a person have if he operates against his own existence?! We are worse than animals.

Animals optimally take care of themselves; they exist instinctively by the laws of nature. We, however, were given larger brains by nature, additional desires, and we use them only for self-annihilation. What kind of brains do we have? They are opposite! Our egoism is killing us.

Reason is an objective study of the world around us and advancing yourself to matching this world to the optimal state in it.

Question: Suppose that during the integral studies in the group there is also a thief or a snitch among us. According to the system we have to rise above ourselves and to value the other, just as we value ourselves. But a person always justifies himself, so if we try to justify the other’s behavior, we will lose all our moral values, and we can’t destroy them without creating new ones.

Answer: I don’t destroy any moral values, but rather learn how to rise to my next level when “we” becomes more important for me than “I.”

How can I cooperate with all of humanity if it is always depicted to me as worse than myself: This one is stupid and the other is smarter than me, but that one is so good in something else, etc. So how can I relate to everyone integrally if I don’t learn how to justify them now? I have to learn! I am not saying the fact that we make excuses for them.

The purpose of our workshops is to create a global organ for the perception of the world. Then I will see that the world is different; I will see the mutual connections in it, the network. All this will be in me, and so suddenly when I look at the world, I will be able to say: “Oh, that’s the way it should be done!” Within myself it will not be so difficult.

Try to prepare a program to distribute all the food in the world now. Suppose all the cards were placed in your hands: There is a certain amount of food in the world that is found in certain places, now distribute it so that everyone will feel good. You will be torn to pieces; you won’t have enough human resources and not enough computer resources in order to carry this out.

However, if you have an integral perspective of life it will be natural for you, just like a mother who knows this is what I have to prepare for my baby and this is what I have to prepare for my husband, etc. And everything is ready! Why? Because she feels them. It is part of her; it is inside her. But if we have to do something for other people, we encounter a huge problem, and if it is for the whole world then all the more so.

So it is important to exit myself. I “train” myself with others. The more stupid they seem to me, the more their perspective is opposite from mine, the more I can exit myself and rise above myself to temporary agreement with them.

Question: What ends this temporary agreement?

Answer: The fact that I am creating a new integral organ of perception. I begin to understand all the other people and by the whole system that is created and born in me, I begin to see how I can cooperate with the whole world. I’m not going to correct anyone; it is impossible to correct the ego.

All the others participating with me go through the same stage. But we don’t correct one another! We rise to the next level.

Question: How does my integral sense of perception, the new layer of my psyche combine or resist my subjective “I,” my individuality?

Answer: Your individuality is beneath your “we.” Never pressure your “I.”

The thing is that your “I” always keeps growing in the sense that you can realize yourself through the “we.” As you include yourself in the common organ of humanity’s entire desire and thought, you begin to “swell,” expand.

Your expanding sensations and consciousness seem to cover all of mankind. Like a pregnant woman with a fetus inside her, you will feel like you contain all of humanity inside you. This is the actual realization of your “I.”

Your inclusion in everyone else is your individuality. For example, a woman’s individuality in her family is expressed through the fact that she holds everyone, serves everyone, takes care of everyone, for the family she is—everything.

Otherwise, your individuality will be expressed through your egoism, individualism, and separation from everyone. There is no longer a place for this in our world, we are going to a new level.

Question: How can individuality be retained in an integral world?

Answer: Egoism does not die, it constantly fuels the “we,” and your “we” always keeps growing. Then you will discover that your egoism keeps constantly growing.

As a result of common egoistic development over thousands of years, we have come to a certain level of fulfillment and have become round. And now we are a society which does not wish to think about anything, a society where drugs and entertainment rule, and we do not need anything else.

As soon as you begin to perceive the integral society and include yourself in it, a new kind of egoism appears, “round” egoism, which grows when your individual egoism pushes it up towards the next level.

Today, many people feel like they are losing their individuality because nature nullifies it, and people find that they are lost; they do not know who they are, what they are, and what their purpose is. Today they can no longer realize themselves as they did in the past before egoism became round; today there is nothing they can realize themselves with.

This is why the generation of the last 40-50 years is considered to be the lost generation. It is called that way because egoism has stopped growing; people do not feel the need to make a family, to have children. Why should I strive towards anything, make plans, discover new planets, as if there were anything out there. Desire has disappeared, egoism has stopped growing; it has become round.

Begin to adapt yourselves within this new form of egoism and you will see how it will begin to grow within you, but in a round way, the circle will either begin to expand or rise. This is our next stage. In other words, the form of egoism has changed, it has become global and integral; further growth will continue and it will be beautiful.

We will begin to see absolutely new forces and new interconnections in nature, we will be attaining nature, and we will suddenly discover fields, laws, and forms Einstein could only have dreamt of.

The new mechanism of feelings and mind will enable a person to feel all of nature holistically, see its entire diversity, and perceive in it the forces that govern everything, the network of forces, which he will discover himself. He will create an analog of the common nature inside himself; he will begin to delve into all of its layers. This is a completely new science, about which little is written, the next inner stage of development.

Humanity will discover this stage of development. And once it begins to develop altruistically, increasingly strengthening the inner connection between them where gradual unification, mutual feelings, and understanding take place, which will continue until this common network of interconnection turns into a completely analog connection, then we will lose the perception of time.

This is the entrance into the field of forces where mind and feelings exist and matter does not. Now we only perceive it in our egoistic senses. As soon as egoism fully transitions to altruism, a full interconnection between us, the perception of the existence of matter will disappear.

During the process of integral discussions, it doesn’t matter whether you are right or wrong. For me it is only a way to “come out of myself” and turn into another person. In this way I begin to understand how it is possible to feel others within me. We must reach a state when we will begin to feel the common opinion, the common desire, the common mind. Moreover, it doesn’t matter whether the answers of others are correct because there are only ten small egoists gathered in the circle.

People in the group can be on different levels of development and their answers can be absolute nonsense. But this does not matter to me. I do not want to be clever. I am working on rising above my reason. So when I listen to the answer of another, I only care about including myself in him, understanding him; I am ready to be with my friend in his answer and come out of myself as if I were turning into him.

What matters to me is the action because during the process of the dialog, the ability to acquire a new sensor, a new collective sense, appears when I perceive and analyze everything outside of myself, outside of my egoism. I acquire the exit from my isolated inner world.

In the end, I begin to perceive that I am included in others. It is important for me to hold on to this common state, our common interconnection that is born between us—the common desire and the common mind. Moreover, this common desire and common mind repeatedly interact between us in such a way that eventually something that we refer to as the center of the group appears.

The center of the group is the image of an integral person who consists of a single heart (desires) and a single mind (thoughts).

Question: You have said that when we study the integral method, we begin to perceive the negative qualities of other people as positive. What does this mean?

Answer: This means that until I rise above my egoism, I do not see others, I only see myself. But when I rise above myself, I suddenly begin to appreciate another person the way he appreciates himself. In other words, I see that his actions are good and proper. I was wrong to appraise him the way I did from my prior egoistic point of view.

Comment: Then we have not only the collapse of the subjective “I,” but also the crumbling of all the ethics.

Answer: There are no ethics in our egoism, nothing but trying to take as much as possible and pushing everyone as far away as possible. I am speaking about our nature.

When we look at another person, we try to find faults in him, feel that he is beneath us, and that we are better than him. This is a natural defense response of our egoism. This is the way we regard the entire world.

I look at my child and somebody else’s child. My child is always at least better somehow in my opinion.

I always put myself in a more beneficial position; otherwise, there is no reason for me to exist. The egoism’s defensive reaction is directed towards providing me with support that I have the right to exist, and I exist.

But when I rise above me, I see others through completely different eyes.

In the News (from Bloomberg): “The euro-area jobless rate rose to a record in November as the fiscal crisis and tougher austerity measures deepened Europe’s economic troubles.

“Unemployment in the 17-nation region rose to 11.8 percent from 11.7 percent in October, the European Union’s statistics office in Luxembourg said today. That’s the highest since the data series started in 1995 and in line with the median estimate of 27 economists in a Bloomberg News survey.”

My Comment: We must agree that there is no returning to the consumer society, and the sooner we switch to a new integral thinking (reasonable consumption, equal sharing, closure of all the “excess” enterprises, the establishment of a rational economy, without anything extra), the less we will lose in transitioning to the new phase of development.
