Question: After  performing some joint tasks, it seems like it is even more difficult to mutually overcome subsequent tasks.

Suppose we agree to shoot a video. We are on this mission together, and it is kind of a little unification process. But after that, it is much harder to gather the same people again. If you want to gather them for the third time, it is even harder! And the fourth time, it is completely unrealistic! Those who can overcome do it, and those who cannot don’t.

Is this the difficulty of connection? Moreover, a person understands in his mind what is needed, but he cannot do anything with himself.

Answer: Of course, he cannot until a real need arises and the goal set is above his current state. Everything is built on pure arithmetic: this is more, and this is less. I always take what is bigger, as my egoism is never wrong.

But I can vary more or less; I can imagine that this is more important than that according to the values of the environment. This means that I must always choose such an environment that will point out to me the greater weight of what advances us toward spirituality although it is against my egoism.

If the environment in my eyes is more important than my egoism—and it can develop and show itself in this way, using my pride, my desire for power, for fame, and so on—then I can move forward.

A person receives a practical method of working with his properties. And if he works with these properties correctly, he has no problem moving forward by using them.

Comment: As a child, when my parents and I watched a humorous program on TV and they laughed, I automatically laughed with them in order to participate in this game.

My Response: Of course to be like the adults, as if you also understand.

Question: Yes, I saw how they reacted and also laughed like them. After some time I began to understand this humor because when you play this game, whether you wanted it or not, you suddenly turn on and understand what it is about.

In our spiritual work there is also a level of “monkey.” What is the correct mechanism for this game? After all, a little person is still ignorant and an adult already has a lot infesting him.

Answer: An adult is ashamed and uncomfortable; he does not know how to behave; he alienates himself and hides behind some stunts, behind rudeness, only in order to save his completely stupid pride. What does it give? But that is what nature makes us do.

If we imagine ourselves as little children again, then we are ready to play. In the group you can play and be a little kid no matter what. Friends understand both you and themselves and give each other such an opportunity. Therefore egoism is not afraid to act like a little child. So what if we run, dance, clap our hands, etc.?

We do all this because we agreed to do that, because we understood that we should not be shy, but on the contrary, we must communicate with each other directly, like children. We have to get to that level.

Our egoism can allow us to do this because in the group we are among our own kind. In this case, we can show each other how open we can be, we can help and be included in each other. This leads us to mutual love. You suddenly discover such a commonality, such a force that is never manifested anywhere else!

Question: You constantly say that the Creator talks to a person all the time and that everything that happens around us is a theater. If this is a theater, then how do you play your role correctly?

Answer: In spiritual work, you play with yourself against your ego. You have to play the next level as if you do not have egoism in you, as if it has already been corrected.

The best thing is not to resist what is in you—listen to good advice. Instead of fighting at the lower level, raise yourself to a higher level, and it becomes easy and good for you. You play this state together with your friends.

Indeed, this is a theater! The theater causes a surge of the higher force on you because you are trying to reveal it within yourself. It exists around you in nature; it is a universal field of information and energy.

You do not have to fight with yourself. You just have to rise above yourself all the time! Do not pay attention to your egoism, do not live in it, and do not engage in beating yourself up, that I am such and such. Break away from the ego as if you are already above it. It will become easy for you. And it is very difficult to be in it.

This technique is very simple. The one who remembers it allows himself to save time and energy.

Miracles do not exist! All miracles are the result of our inner pressure in the yearning to come closer to each other.

This is how we will rise up, see all the worlds, everything from top to bottom. The Creator will be revealed to us as a network that embraces everything and includes everything within it.

We will feel ourselves in a space that has no movement, no beginning, no end; it is in constant motion. All this will be normal, there will be nothing surprising about it. This is how we will exist.

But before the congress, we need to prepare ourselves for miracles because if we want to connect with each other, then our closeness with each other is already a miracle! After all, this is against the fundamental law of nature—the law of egoism.

Therefore, if we aim to rise above egoism, we will attract the influence of huge forces of nature that are above it, that is, the forces of upper nature.

I really hope that we will be lucky, that the Creator will guide us and help us, and that we will connect with each other by the force of bestowal, by the force of love. Then this war will end, and in general—everything in the world will calm down, and we will all become like one man with one heart.

How can we justify the Creator when such terrible disasters like the earthquake in Turkey happen? We do not know why the Creator awakens us through such sharp and heavy blows.

But apparently they include both help and punishment. We can try to turn this punishment into a reward through our connection. After all, this is the only action that can help us.

We can immerse ourselves in those states in which our friends found themselves who were physically trapped in the disaster zone, and try to pull them out of all these places and states, and lift them high above our heads.

We value them as devoted close friends yearning to reach a common connection between all of us and the Creator, and we will do our best to constantly feel them deep inside our thoughts and hearts. The Creator arranges everything so that we all become included in this action. In this way He binds us together through this disaster, and we need to unite even more because of it.

We need nothing except the connection; then the light that the Creator shines upon all of humanity will shine more strongly in those groups that have united. Therefore, the stronger our connection, unity, and embrace, the more the upper force, the light of the Creator, will influence us and pull us out of all the troubles.

We embrace all the friends who are in the earthquake zone, we fill our thoughts and hearts with this concern, and thus we will be able to protect them from troubles with the help of the Creator.

Kabbalah says that there is the upper mind, one we reveal when we connect in a group. If a group goes for connection, then it discovers not “I,” not “we,” but something else above “we,” an absolutely common unified whole, a common desire and a common mind.

This is the system of governance, the upper nature—the Creator. It exists always, only it is concealed from us.

We need to reveal this upper system, the upper mind, and then we will have no problems interacting with each other, controlling everything, and coming to universal communication and connection because we all will be connected to this upper system.

What does it mean to prepare for the desert? This means that I am ready to go into the darkness with my group after my teacher no matter how difficult and unclear it may be. This is the path in the desert.

There is desert and night around me, meaning it is unknown how, where, and with the help of what to go.

If I want to reach the connection with the upper force, with the Creator, I should not ask for guarantees. I just keep moving forward despite all the difficulties that arise before me.

The desert means that I have nothing to revive my soul with, there is no food or water. It is clear that during the day I suffer from the heat under the scorching sun, and at night from the cold; these are harsh conditions. Yet it is possible to live in the desert; people live in the desert. Therefore, it is necessary to continue despite the conditions. These conditions are specially given to us from above to help us discover the quality of bestowal and become similar to the Creator.

There is no past and no future, there is only the present moment in which I adhere to the Creator with all my strength.

Question: There are two categories of disturbances. One is when something happens in the outside world, and from these disturbances, a person runs to the group. This is it, he is together with his friends. Another category of disturbances arises as a result of connection: people have connected and difficulties appear. What is the difference between these two types of disturbances?

Answer: The first kind is just a beginner’s disturbance. But when you feel disturbances in connection, these are already disturbances that occur throughout the entire path, the entire ladder up to the world of infinity.

It is written in The Book of Zohar that even Rashbi’s disciples felt great hatred for each other before writing The Zohar, that is, before exploring the upper elevations, which they then described.

The problem in the connection between friends is manifested throughout the entire path. It seems to us that this is only for now, and then it will disappear. But this is constant spiritual work until the final correction (Gmar Tikkun).

A true connection with friends means that we feel one hundred percent connected and we understand each other.

The inner connection depends on the heart, on how much we want to open our heart toward the Creator and let Him into this heart so that inside this heart we feel the Creator, understand what He wants from us, and understand what we want to give Him.

The Creator wants us to appreciate internal life more than the external life. That is, the connection with the Creator should be first for us, and everything else should be secondary and temporary. If we manage to direct ourselves to that, it will already be a significant success and we will see that we are advancing.

If we fail to reach such an attitude, then gradually we will begin to move away from the spiritual path, return to the pursuits of this world, and spin in its wheel between shopping, work, and entertainment.

However the method of Kabbalah does not imply neglecting external life. It is based on increasing the importance of spiritual life, not on lowering the importance of the corporeal life. But the importance of spirituality should be higher than any corporeal fulfillment.

No matter how corporeal life puts pressure on me—family, work, and other needs—above all this I value spirituality. All my life I evaluate in terms of how much it can help my spiritual advancement or destroy it.

I raise spirituality high above everything, and I place corporeal life below under this umbrella. Then everything is suddenly easy to arrange. A person only has to agree that this should be his approach to corporeality and spirituality.

Corporeality is needed precisely in order to raise spirituality high above your head. It is like two parallel layers: spiritual life at the top and corporeal life at the bottom, and in any situation in life we maintain this attitude.
