Coronavirus Сomes From The Future

laitman_961.2Coronavirus will help oblige us to connect more with each other. This seems paradoxical because we now see that the communities where there were closer connections between people were hit hardest by the virus. How does a virus help us connect if it divides us?

This happened because we were united on the basis of egoistic desires. But if we connect only in order to help each other, to acquire a common mind and feeling, a common understanding and attainment, then we will rise above the virus.

Nature did not give the virus the task to divide us. The virus separates us only because we are egoists and want to harm each other. But if we want to connect, then the virus will not act against us. It does not work that way. The virus proceeds from the general law of the universe, where all the opposing forces of nature are connected together into one whole, including people connected as one person.

The coronavirus comes as if from the future, from our more advanced state. It turns out that it is moving us forward to tomorrow, into a state of unity and understanding that we belong to one nature and are obligated to become one person with one heart. And the virus will certainly do its job.

“If We Take Care Of Ourselves First, We’ll Aid Nature” (Newsmax)

My article in Newsmax: “If We Take Care of Ourselves First, We’ll Aid Nature

A little while ago, The Guardian interviewed the U.N.’s environment chief, Inger Andersen. According to the paper, Andersen said that nature is sending us a message with the coronavirus pandemic, that humanity was placing too many pressures on the natural world with damaging consequences. Andersen warned that failing to take care of the planet meant not taking care of ourselves.

It is true that we are placing too many pressures on nature. It is also true that these pressures are destroying our environment and harming ourselves. But in my view, Ms. Andersen’s words embody our biggest mistake: Saying that failing to take care of the planet means not taking care of ourselves puts the cart before the horse. It is ourselves, our relationships with one another that we should tend to first. Only when we learn to care for one another will we learn to care for nature. Only when we learn the meaning of social responsibility will we be able to practice global responsibility. As long as we exploit one another, we will exploit nature just as much.

The coronavirus is sending us more than one message. Stay home and keep away from one another is only the beginning. This is stage one, where nature speaks to us like a reproving parent: “You’ve been bad to one another so go to your separate rooms.” Now that we have been forced to practice social distancing, it is time to take the next lesson: getting closer correctly.

The Big Cleanup

To “clean us up” from occupations that revert us to our previous ties, nature, via its faithful messenger COVID-19, will make certain that we cannot return to our past engagements. It will continue to haunt us until we accept the new reality, admit that we were wrong, and ask how nature wants us to behave.

When we accept that the problem is with us, we will see that replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy will not solve a thing. Indeed, we are ruining the planet through exaggerated use of fossil fuels, wood, pollution of fresh water bodies and oceans, depletion of natural resources, extinction of animals and destruction of wildlife habitats.

But we do all that not because we’re unaware of the harm that we are doing; we do it because we do not care. We do not need to help nature; we need to change our own nature. If we don’t want to change, nature will compel us to in its own way. COVID-19 is but the prelude, not a standalone opera. If we don’t understand the message it is sending us, this opera will become a very sad tragedy.

So now that we have been separated, let us learn how to connect properly. The first rule of thumb is that if it’s more than you really need, it is too much, and it’s exploitative to nature and to other people. The second rule of thumb is that whatever I do, whether it’s giving or receiving, I do in order to benefit all of society.

Just as nature is one inclusive system, we must develop an inclusive worldview that takes into account all people. Society knows what it needs and rewards those who contribute to it with respect and praise. Gradually, these accolades will replace the prevailing self-centered tokens of success such as extravagant wealth, power and a false sense of superiority.

By carefully planning our steps toward a world of positive connections, we will build a world that is in every sense higher than our grim reality. By cultivating ties of friendship and mutual responsibility toward each other, we will be able to bid farewell to the old world.

Indeed, it is infinitely more satisfying to feel the whole of society, and through it, the whole of reality, rather than limit the world to the reality perceived when all I have in mind is me.

Nature, aka reality, is ushering us into a world where we can choose to be good students and learn easily and pleasantly, or rebellious children who learn against their will, but still thank their teacher in the end. Whichever the case, nature will not ease up on us until we learn.

Egoistic People Create an Egoistic World

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 4/14/20

There seems to be general agreement that COVID-19 has taught us a lesson in humility. It taught us that our self-centered approach toward the world is unacceptable. The coronavirus separated us, forced social distancing on us and told us to #StayHome. It did that because we built a world that is based on egocentric relationships. We can’t complain about the “gifts” that the world sends us when we have created the world in our own image: selfish to the core.

If we want a different world, we must be different, first. Since we build the world in our own image, it is we who must change, and the world we will build will be equally different. The better we become, the more caring and considerate we teach ourselves to be, the more care and concern will spread through the world. It is in our hands, and it is our choice.

We Will Not Be The Same Again

laitman_600.02In this difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic, women can perform much greater work than men because they have more connection with life, stronger sense of life in relation to their family and children.

After this epidemic, people will not be the same. It will take several months and everyone will get used to this new state. We will begin to perceive the world in a new way; we will feel that it is under the control of the upper force.

Everyone now has the same questions: Where did this problem come from? Why? What will happen next? Suddenly we lost our strength to pursue the different pleasures of this world, the main thing is to survive and for us and our children to live peacefully in this world.

This is a very important stage in the education of humanity. The virus will educate us so that we will not be the same people again. Imagine that in four, five, or six months we will see the epidemic subside and the coronavirus stop circulating between us, then we will already be different.

In the meantime, we just need to support each other and keep explaining that this blow came from nature because we breach its laws and violate its integrality and globality.

We destroy nature and, as a result, involuntarily we pull all these viruses out of it and force them to manifest. If we continue to treat nature this way, there will be many more new viruses, much more terrible than the coronavirus. Therefore, there is no choice, we must change the relationships between us and our attitude to nature, and then everything will fall into place.

First of all, we must understand that the coronavirus is a consequence of the imbalance in nature made by humans. This imbalance stems from the lack of friendly connections between people.

We must exist in an integral system, but instead we do the opposite and are moving further and further away from each other. Egoism is growing all the time and increasingly placing us against each other. If we do not stop the process of global separation, we will cause even more harmful viruses to appear.

Everyone agrees that there is a need for connection between people, but they do not believe that it is possible to achieve and consider it a beautiful dream. However, the fact is that we are not required to achieve connection, we just have to want to come to it.

By yearning for connection, we are already investing our effort in nature, and as a result nature gets corrected and improves. Then all sorts of pests, including viruses, will stop crawling out of it.

Listen To What I, Nature, Am Telling You!

laitman_294.2There is only one global force of nature, and it sends us the coronavirus so that we would respond to it properly and correct reality.

First of all, we must understand that the virus comes from the general integral system of nature, which reacts to us in this way due to the fact that we humans are in disequilibrium with it. Therefore, nature seeks to balance us by force.

Nature tells us through this pest, this virus: “You have reached an integral form. Unite in your egoism around the entire globe. You have already become one humanity—wonderful! Now I will begin to reveal to you, as one body, through this one virus that you are out of order. Start to heal little by little!

“But you need to think about how to respond to this virus, which affects all of humanity and the whole
planet; you need to act together. Unite, act together, begin to change the governmental systems in each country, the relationship between countries, and relations within society. Make yourself as one, one body, and then this virus will disappear without a trace.

“Otherwise, it will not leave. It will come in various other forms, in all kinds of modifications, until I, nature, make you all become a single society where everyone complements, supports, and is friendly to each other. I will pressure you with all kinds of viruses so much that you will be forced to connect with each other and connect with me, nature.”

This is the path of suffering, which is called “Beito” (“in due time”), in the course of natural development. But there is still a way of accelerating time (Achishena), when we ourselves, through the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah, understand what needs to be done and begin to build good relations with each other and educate ourselves in how to become a single humanity.

Search For The Cure Against The Virus

laitman_229The coronavirus lets us know that all our activities are not really necessary and our entire life has not been aimed in the right direction. The upbringing that we received and are now passing to our children is wrong. One must understand that the world needs to exist in a new way: on the basis of unification.

We can come to it because there is the method of Kabbalah. The higher force intentionally sends us various obstacles so that we abandon our far-fetched activities and begin to build life in a new way where there is no difference between this world and the spiritual one, and the difference between life and death disappears; that is, there will be no death. Death will be only for the desire to receive—this is how we will perceive it.

I am certain we will succeed. The main thing is to progress day after day with understanding, awareness, good connection between us, and to raise humanity’s desires to the Creator. Even if their requests stem from the fear of the coronavirus, we absorb these desires, raise them to the Creator, and ask Him for medicine.

It does not matter to me what medicine the Creator will give, I do not tell Him what medicine it should be: against the virus or against our egoism. We then find that it is one and the same—there is no other pest besides our egoism. It is just that now it appears as a virus.

Victory Over Humanity

laitman_587.03The coronavirus killed our egoistic inception and brings us much closer to each other. It drove us all to the same state: everyone is sitting at home, out of work, and we do not know what will happen tomorrow or what today will bring.

All of humanity, the entire globe, billions of people, are in a single state regarding the present and the future.

The coronavirus places us all into one community, one system. This is not just a virus but a special spirit that takes root in our mind and our senses and creates a muddle out of us. We suddenly begin to understand and feel each other, to sense our closeness. It is easy for us to visualize any condition that has befallen others.

Look what this virus has done, how skillfully it works. In one swoop, in just a few weeks, it built a new humanity out of us. Of course we still hope to return to the old, thinking that this pandemic will end if not today then tomorrow.

But the quarantine might last a few more months, and when we get out of it, we will find ourselves in a new world, in a new humanity, among new people with a different mentality, different perception, and different attitude.

Everything will be different.

This virus will wash us, clean all the stupid things out of our heads, it will return us to our families. It will teach us to stay at home instead of rushing from place to place. We will get used to a new life. We must thank the virus for doing this job.

Of course, we see that the coronavirus brings death and suffering. But on the scale of all of humanity, it is making such useful changes in society that previously seemed possible only at the cost of terrible blows and wars. When we summarize the changes made by the virus in our lives, we will understand that this is a messenger from above.

For the first time in history, a tiny virus is making such changes simultaneously around the globe, in all of humanity. And doing this despite all our modern development, global communication, understanding, and knowledge. But look at how it dealt with us. In an instant, everyone surrendered and accepted its terms. Is there any other force in nature capable of such actions?

For Love Of Nature

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 4/12/20

At first, the virus pushed us away from one another so we wouldn’t harm each other anymore. Now comes stage two where we should begin to feel that COVID-19 did not happen by chance and will go away as soon as we find a cure. We should have no illusions about returning to the previous life.

Nature has a clear direction: It will continue to pressure us toward correct connections among us. If we relate not to the blows but to their source, to the integral and connected nature, and if we walk along with it and try to be more integral and connected, too, we will discover that nature does not punish or deal blows. On the contrary, we will find in its rebukes the guiding hand of a loving mother who admonishes only when she has no other choice, and even then she tries to rebuke as little as possible, just until her child understands her message. And in the case of nature, it is telling us that if we begin to want to love each other, even if we still cannot, we will find that it loves us.

Who Is Really Behind COVID-19?

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 4/12/20

Apprehension and uncertainty over the coronavirus have triggered a situation as contagious and widespread as the pandemic: conspiracy theories.

Since the surge of the global disease that has virtually paralyzed the planet, the blame game started between countries while people speculate about the origin of the crisis as a hidden and Machiavellian agenda implemented by powerful interest groups. By that, we do what humans know best: look for responsibility outside of ourselves. If we want to tackle the actual problem, we need to focus on its root—our selfish and uncaring human nature.

America faces its “Pearl Harbor, 9/11 moment,” warned the US surgeon general as the coronavirus death toll increases. Claims that the fatality numbers have been inflated by health officials to grandstand the current administration have invaded social media. But the conspiracy theorists have also been busy with other speculations such as the alleged link between the rollout of 5G wireless technology and COVID-19. Others hypothesize that the virus was created as a biological weapon by the elites and international organizations to reduce population and establish a new world order. The list goes on.

All this is nonsense. Alas, the initiator, the “conspirator” behind the epidemic, is far greater and more powerful than any suspected perpetrator: nature itself. This supreme force secretly knits the ultimate plan to generate a positive shift in the world. Although invisible and beyond comprehension, nature’s plan is for us to replicate its characteristics of love and giving. Its sole aim is for us to finally recognize that we are inextricably bound to an ecosystem which is integral, and this and all other crises plaguing humanity stem from our harmful attitude toward the world.

More Dangerous Than a Biological Weapon

The coronavirus was not deliberately created by humans. It is the result of the imbalance that we have provoked in nature, where only man lives solely for his own benefit and thereby causes damage. In contrast, all other levels of nature—the still, vegetative, and animal—act instinctively and take only what is necessary for their survival.

COVID-19 comes to teach all of us that our individualistic and narrow-minded paradigm of abusing our surrounding environment has led us to a dead end, to such a dangerous state that if we continue in that path, we could very well experience even more deadly consequences than the pandemic, an imminent world war.

If we focus our attention on the world’s evolutionary process, we will realize that nature is not truly secretive and scheming; its actions are actually overt and plain to see. Our inherent human nature, the persistent desire to take advantage of others through myriad self-serving thoughts and actions causes the world’s goodness to be concealed from us. Thus, we have generously been given time for soul searching that will allow us to contemplate change.

If we unite not only at a time of trouble or during an epidemic, but rather from a profound sense of connection based on healthy bonds of friendship, brotherhood and mutual concern, we will resemble the quality of nature within its integral system. Then, the more we become similar to it, the higher and more intricate the level of balance we will attain.

This is the rumor that needs to spread across the world. It is precisely now, during the coronavirus crisis, that we must begin a comprehensive educational process on mutual responsibility that will develop within us the awareness that we have no choice but to function as an integral part of the one, interdependent and interconnected system. The call of the hour is to bring about global awareness of how mankind must behave within the system of nature, what our proper function is vis a vis the world, and how to achieve harmony and correct communication between us.

Spiritual Exodus From Egypt

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 4/12/20

COVID-19, like Pharaoh, presses us to come out of Egypt, namely our ego. It shows us that we are dependent on each other and it is pointless and foolish to care only for ourselves. Egypt is not a place; it is a state of being locked inside the ego with no way to come out. But these days, as we recognize our interdependence, we acknowledge that unless we do it together, we will never be freed of Pharaoh, the coronavirus.

The heart will never agree to mutual responsibility on its own. It will always be forced to accept it. But it’s better to agree to cultivate mutual concern of our own volition than through the pressure of tyrants like the crown (corona) virus.

Yet, when we accept the commitment to care for one another, we will discover, like the children of Israel, a land flowing with milk and honey—the delight and pleasures found in warm, caring connections among all. Today, we must forge these connections in all of humanity.
