A Financial War

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from PostScriptum): “During the last decade, the elite cell in the American Treasury honed tools of economic warfare, with which it is possible to bring to its knees almost any country in the world – without firing a shot.

“The strategy is based on the hegemony in the global banking system, supported by a network of allies. This is a new kind of war, which aims to stop the financial flows of the enemy.

“At the moment, when the bank falls under its action, when it is accused of money laundering or financial terrorism, it becomes caught in a deadly embrace. This is the death penalty, even if the financial institution does not work on the US territory. European banks do not dare to argue with US regulators. They would sever all the transactions with the victim.

“Nauru, Burma, North Cyprus, Latvia and Belarus were forced to obey the American demands. North Korea was paralyzed. But today the world is too interconnected, and sanctions may generate a chain reaction.”

My Comment: Today, the United States dominates the world, and that is why China, the EU, and Russia want so much to raise their currencies to the world level. But the US will not allow this to happen by any means. A great financial war is ahead. This will bring us to the awareness of globality, negative globality, from which we will have to move to positive globality, because we cannot change globality itself. There is no turning back in history and evolution.

The Destructive Power Of Babylon In Europe

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: Why is the power of connection very successful sometimes and sometimes not? For example, in the United States, the unity of many states led to the creation of a very strong nation, whereas unity in Europe didn’t bring success.

Answer: In Europe the destructive power of Babylon, the confusion and mixture of various languages, is active.

Question: How can we be sure that the power of connection that we are creating will not make the situation worse?

Answer: This depends upon whether we are in a period in which it is possible to freely disseminate the wisdom of Kabbalah and the knowledge about the correction of the world . Have we reached this time or not? For us this question does not exist because  this was written by a great Kabbalist.

Question: Has the whole world, in all of its strata, in all of its forms, already become ripe for accepting this method and realizing it effectively?

Answer: The world is ready to the extent it feels the crisis: either in children’s education, in the family, in unemployment and in work, in social relationships, or the general economic crisis.

Question: The crisis in Europe has already been felt and they are trying to stop it. These attempts have already continued for a number of years but without any success.

Answer: They will never be ready to do it themselves. Somehow it seems to us that if we wait, then people will be able to get the correct knowledge from their lives and suddenly become wiser, receive the desire, and understand it themselves. But this will never happen. They won’t understand anything by themselves.

From their receiving a few more blows, they will not become better and wiser; on the contrary, they will be more stubborn and worse off. Only through our joint activities with them and through our method will it be possible to correct the situation.

Values Of A Neurotic Society

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Olga Lukina, psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, Director of the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy and Coaching, Moscow): “In today’s society, the key life values are devalued: the value of work, the value of deep professional knowledge, honesty with oneself, self-esteem, willingness to do good, and responsibility.

“Instead, there are important values of a neurotic society: status, money, superiority in competition, aggressive force.

“Young people are particularly vulnerable. They swallow these ‘values’ without censorship; they have no immunity to them. Striving to meet the expectations of this society, they lose touch with their authentic selves. Only those who have healthy orientations and strong support of the family can withstand.”

My Comment: No doubt, without integral education, the young generation will lose itself completely.

Two Heads Are Better Than One

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Marina R. Bityanova, Ph.D., Professor of Moscow Open University, Director of the Center of psychological support in education, author of four books): “When people work together for a long time, they have to make joint decisions – not to come to a compromise, but namely to develop a common view of the problem. Compromise is an averaged solution, and hence no one’s. A group decision is general, and therefore is accepted by everyone.

“In practical terms, this is a very important property of the decisions that are accepted jointly: at the same time, they are everyone’s personal decision, therefore, everyone will perform them. Thus, a group should be encouraged to take vital decisions together, in collective discussion.

“But is a group decision effective? Maybe it is better if a decision is made by one person – the head, the leader, and then he convinces the group in his reason?

“People have long realized that taking a complex and responsible decision is better in discussion (a council of wise men, gathering of the elders, focus group), in general agreement – consensus. A group action is qualitatively and quantitatively superior to the action of the ‘average’ person, but sometimes is not as effective as the actions of an outstanding personality.

“Group decisions are more risky than individual; having united, people decide to take the risk, because a group discussion makes people feel that they share responsibility, personal irresponsibility that facilitates the adoption of extreme decisions, view risk as treasure: readiness to take risks increases status; during the panel discussion, group members aim at showing that they possess such readiness.

“Another important feature of group decisions: during discussion, opinions are not averaged, but polarized.

The thinking style of a group with a high level of internal unity and autonomy has the following features:

– An illusion of invulnerability;

– The desire to give a rational explanation for one’s decision as the only possible and correct;

– Stereotypical view of opponents;

– Open pressure on the minority;

– An illusion of unanimity;

– The emergence of self-appointed guardians of the group spirit, etc.

“Studies show that groups of this type increases internal cohesion and self-satisfaction of the members, but it reduces the quality of group decisions; members’ individual decisions are of a higher quality than those of the group.

“This phenomenon often occurs in groups working in crisis, stressful situations, forcing group members to unite around group goals, to fence off from the outside world.”

My Comment: When a group wants to unite so that its unity benefits the whole world, no negative qualities can occur in it.

A Trap And The Way Out Of It

Dr. Michael LaitmanIn the News (from Vedomosti): “We received new information only when nothing threatens our outlook. Negative facts brought to the supporters of the regime cannot be digested by them and will not change their views. By virtue of these features of our consciousness, the existence of independent media and the Internet does not solve the problem.

“People perceive information that does not constitute a threat to their worldview and filter out all the rest. It is incredibly difficult for politicians and peoples to accept a dead end of the chosen path since changing a course undermines the worldview system.

“Having realized that the chosen political course does not lead to the expected results, the country often does not change, but on the contrary, intensifies the realization of the initial program, which worsens the economic situation in the country and leads to a tightening of the wrong political course. A mental trap brings a country into a vicious circle.”

My Comment: Although opposite to its course, the correct decision can be accepted only when it is viewed objectively. This is possible only in a workshop which is organized according to the principles of integral education, in a circle where people are equal and cancel themselves. They must be ready for full connection for the sake of revealing unity (the Upper Force) within it, adhering to the Upper Force through similarity of properties (mutual bestowal) in order to create contentment in it.

The Deficiency Of The State

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Martin van Creveld, Ph.D., Professor of military history at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, author of seventeen books on military history and strategy): “[Martin van Creveld] argues that the state, since 1648 has become a creature different to any previous form of civil government. Before that time, government was identified with some person or group of persons. After 1648, the state lost that personal identification and became a juridical person, a corporation. ‘As a corporation, it has an independent persona.’ All previous governments failed to make this crucial distinction between the person ruling and the ruling organisation. Louis XIV could say with much truth, ‘I am the state.’ Louis Napoleon could not.

“He defines the state by three characteristics.

“Sovereignty, by which claim the state ‘refuses to share any of [these] functions [waging war, making peace enacting laws, dispensing justice, raising revenue, determining the currency, and providing internal security] with others but concentrates all of them in its own hands.’

“Territoriality,  it exercises such powers over all the people who live within its borders and over them only.

“Abstractness, most importantly, it is an abstract organisation. Unlike any of its predecessors at any other time and place, it is not identical with either rulers nor ruled; it is neither a man nor a community, but an invisible being known as a corporation.

“In the main, the threat to the state does not come either from individuals or from groups of the kind which exercised the functions of government in various communities at various times and places before 1648. Instead it comes from other corporations: in other words, from such ‘artificial men’ as share its own nature but differ from it both in respect to their control over territory and in regard to the exercise of sovereignty. A few of the corporations in question are of a territorial nature, but the majority are not. Some are regional and larger than states, others smaller and merely local. Some are intergovernmental, others nongovernmental. Some are primarily political by nature, others dedicated to different ends such as making money, protecting the environment, spreading some religious message, or propagating some special cause which may range from reducing pollution to animal rights. [Though] all have in common that they are more attuned to modern technology, communication and transportation in particular, than the state. As a result, some of them are able to grow much richer than most states; or take over some of the latter’s functions; or evade its control by establishing colonies and moving their resources outside its borders; or influence the opinions of its citizens more than governments can; or (as in the case of numerous guerrilla and terrorist organisations) successfully resist it weapon in hand; or, not seldom, some combination of all these things.”

My Comment: All of human development leads to the extinction of the state and the establishment of a unified, global social system.

The Fears Of The Modern World

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Ilya Pluzhnikov, Associate Professor, faculty of Neuro-psychology and Abnormal Psychology, Moscow State University): “Fear is a product of evolution. All fears are fixed in the course of evolution, considered useful, stay with us.

“Modern Western-European society is a society with a high proportion of emotional distress; it is narcissistic, which implies that everything should be perfect; you have to be the best one, which is virtually impossible and causes anxiety due to a mismatch between a person and the standards.”

My Comment: The environment defines and sets everyone’s life purpose. If we had developed in the jungle, we would have striven to become the best warriors. It is therefore necessary to treat the neuroses and the environment, but not the person.

As soon as society changes the vector of its development and assumes spiritual ideals of equality, fraternity, and mutual support and evaluates a person by his giving to society, everyone will feel as if he is in a good mother’s arms.

Social Inequality Makes People Unhappy

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion (Jan Delhey, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology, School of Humanities & Social Sciences, Jacobs University, Germany): “Are more equal societies ‘better’ societies? This article addresses the question as to whether and why income inequality lowers the degree of Europeans’ subjective well-being. While in broad international comparisons typically no clear-cut link between income inequality and (un)happiness exists, we can demonstrate that Europeans are somewhat less happy in more unequal places. We further discuss and empirically test three explanations as to why Europeans are inequality-averse, namely (dis)trust, status anxiety, and perceived conflicts.

“Each of these three potential mediators is hypothesized to be shaped by the extent of a nation’s income inequality, and in turn to result in lower subjective well-being. A multilevel mediation analysis with data from the European Quality of Life Survey 2007 for 30 countries reveals that distrust and status anxiety are important mediators of inequality aversion, whereas perceived conflict is not. We can further show that trust is the crucial mediator among affluent societies, whereas status anxiety is crucial among the less affluent societies.”

My Comment: Building trust, and therefore a sense of well being in society, is possible only with complete and constant human equality. This is possible only through the method of integral education and upbringing, the wisdom of connection, so that the Upper Light can change human nature.

The Finish Line Is Near

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: On one hand, we should be committed to mutual guarantee, and on the other hand, a person’s heart is evil from his youth and the evil inclination grows every year.

Answer: There should be a system that corrects the evil inclination and turns it into a good inclination. But instead, there is another system that increases and enlarges the evil inclination even more and gives it different forms. It appreciates people who know how to steal and how to take advantage of others in an even more sophisticated manner.

In addition to the evil inclination that pushes me from behind, there is another system of advertising that pulls me ahead by different evil pleasures.

Question: I have no doubt that the idea of mutual guarantee is right and I would really want it to be fulfilled in the society I live and raise my children in. The only doubt is whether there is a chance that it will work out since it is completely opposite from the way our evolution is directed.

Answer: The idea of mutual guarantee can succeed either by great afflictions and problems in the world that will leave a person no choice (and we see that this can happen if the world follows the path of natural evolution, the path of in its time). Or we can still manage to put the world on the right path, to the path of the Light.

There is no doubt, however, that our state has to end in some final way. Everyone understands that the finish line is near and that the world is about to explode. We see that daily events throughout the world are leading towards a bad direction. No one even waits for anything good anymore. When we turn on the radio or the TV we don’t expect any good news.

There are only two options: the path of the Light or the path of suffering. We can sit idly by like a fool who sits with his arms crossed eating his own flesh. But people who have received the urge towards the goal are called Israel, Yashar El (straight to the Creator), and want to discover the Upper Light.  This obliges them to reveal this Light to others (this is important).

Therefore, the method of the correction of human society by connection is revealed to people because connection includes the upper force or the Light that Reforms. People will receive an explanation about the Light that Reforms and they won’t mind as long as you make them feel that it is possible and worthwhile.

There is no other choice because this is already a social trend, the world already understands this subconsciously and is ready to accept it. This is because people see that otherwise we simply destroy one another. It is enough to see what is happening in the Ukraine or in Syria.

Question: Will we be able to tell them about games and about the wisdom of Kabbalah in such a disastrous situation?

Answer: Of course, it is done precisely in this reality. If they don’t use this method today, they will be killed tomorrow. The disasters are already lining up ready to operate on us from Above, like parachutists who jump off a plane one by one.

Where Are We Headed?

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: Do we really have a chance to correct the state of the world? After all, we see that things are getting worse every day.

Answer: No, the world is advancing towards a greater recognition of evil every day. People understand that they advance without any direction, not knowing where to go, unable to influence the way the world develops, or to ensure the sustainability of the world, to ensure life.

We are losing all the levers and there are no reins. There is no way we can manage the world and that is actually a good thing. People feel that they are like little children whose parents have lost them.

We gradually begin to realize who has forgotten us, who we have drawn away from, and who we should get closer to. This makes a person feel the need for the upper force, for balance with nature, with reality. It isn’t some mystical force, but we actually want to know how this system is built, the law, the formula according to which the world exists.

We must know where we are headed! After all, we are on a speeding train in total darkness not knowing where it is taking us…
