Comment: The number of starving people in the world is increasing. You even said that there would be a famine. You even added: “A big one!”
At the same time, people throw away 15% or even more of the food they buy. Restaurants and retail chains throw away hundreds of tons of food.

The UN Secretary-General declared that “Food loss and waste is an ethical outrage” (UN News). There are many such statements.

When will we be able to do more than just make statements? What if we do this, for example, if you throw something away, you will pay 20 times more for it?

My Response: What good would this do?

Question: Can we educate people this way?

Answer: It does not matter. We all pay a lot of money for this anyway.

Question: Then what will help? Making statements will not help for sure.

Answer: The heart. If a person does not have it, nothing will help. And we do not have it. I do not think about others. I do not care about them. I open the refrigerator and take what I need. What I no longer need, do not want, is superfluous or spoiled, I throw away.

I cannot buy just enough so that I finish it all. Of course, food is thrown away. We can see by the amount of garbage. It is a terrible thing! The fact that somewhere people do not have enough food means that there is no communication between people. Therefore, there is surplus here and shortage there.

Question: Is it possible to think about others when I am buying something?

Answer: If you think about others, then you will buy only what you need and no one in the world will starve at all, even simply from your approach to the world in this way.

Question: What does it mean to think about others? What should I be thinking at this moment?

Answer: About making everyone feel good. Just as you are now buying food for yourself in a grocery store and filling your refrigerator, you also want to desire that all people in the world have such conditions.

Comment: You are talking about special people.

My Response: This is not about being special. We will be forced. I am not worried about this at all. We have already entered such a stage that if not now, then in two or three years you will see what will happen.

Comment: Let it force us already! At least it is humane.

My Response: No. Nature must seriously educate us. It takes time.

Question: Do you mean that I will not be able to train myself for this? Must I be forced?

Answer: You are not forcing yourself now, you are not searching. You will get up after this program and go to fill your stomach without thinking about Bangladesh.

Comment: Frankly speaking, yes.

My Response: It means that we need such a connection where I will feel internally that I need this,  that we will all save some 10% of everything we have for other countries. We will reach a state when there will be no rich people. How many billionaires are there in the world? How many new billionaires do we have because of this pandemic?

Comment: Yes. Some became much richer. And others became much poorer. The gap between the poor and the rich has increased.

My Response: Yes. I hope that we will sort this out, but not by revolutions or coups but by elevating our consciousness and awareness.

Question: Does this information that there is hunger, that there are many hungry people somewhere come to me on purpose? Am I slowly being prepared for this evolution, for this transition you are talking about?

Answer: Yes.

Question: So I will not be able to live normally if people are starving somewhere?

Answer: Eventually, of course! You will be feeling their hunger, their condition, more strongly than your own.

Question: And then I will not be able to sleep peacefully?

Answer: By no means.

Question: Then will I put this 10% exactly there and I will not be able to eat without doing it?

Answer: No. You will see to it that it reaches them. Like, for example, your son is somewhere and you want to send him something.

Comment: May it happen soon! I do wish so!

My Response: No! You must not just wish for it. You must create such a system, how our world was created, now billions of people who need to work will have to process this into a completely different system of mutual assistance and connection. We will have to do this. This must be embodied all the way down to the lowest level of nature.

But this will only happen when you do not want to live in such a world as we have today at all!

Comment: It seems that nature has clearly started to choke us from all sides.

It scorches us on the ground with forest fires in Turkey, France, Italy, Spain, Siberia, America, Australia, and in Canada where cities are practically burned down.

At the same time, scientists warn that from 2021 to 2050, heat peaks will occur up to seven times a year, which means fires are possible almost seven times a year. And from 2050 to 2080, the heat peaks are projected to happen 21 times a year.

We are also flooded from above. Look at what happened in Germany, Belgium, India, China, and London! Hail the size of tennis balls pummeled Italy.

And from the inside, viruses get to us and mutate.

Humanity everywhere looks for conspiracies. It seems that there is a conspiracy of nature against us.

My Response: Nature is an overall picture, it is one global system. We think the hail has passed and that’s it. No! If we throw nature out of balance, then we must take everything into account.

Question: Will it come from all angles?

Answer: Yes. But there are no biological pests yet like those written about in the ten plagues: frogs, lice, and so on. I am saying that we should expect this.

Question: But humanity sees the reason for all this in global warming, in the fact that we are destroying the environment, and so on. What is your opinion?

Answer: I have even stopped speaking about it. Not because I am tired—I cannot get tired—but because it is a problem, it is a disease that does not go away.

On other hand, the more you talk, the less people listen to you. I would like some kind of a result. I do not know how to open the hearts of modern people. They do not want to listen and that’s it!

That is, we have reached such a level of egoism. I do not blame anyone! I understand where this comes from. All this comes from our egoism, which was created by the Creator. Therefore, I do not know what else we can do. I mean the Kabbalists who still want to convey their opinion to the people.

In the chain of nature, people are at the highest level: still, vegetative, animate, and man. At the degree of man, we simply destroy nature. Why?

Because at the degree of man we are not in good relations with each other, this projects the same attitude to all the other lower degrees: animate, vegetative, and still. This means we do not want to be in a good relationship with each other and nature does not want to be in a good relationship within itself and with us.

This causes the imbalance of the entire system of nature. This imbalance is felt not by all sorts of primitive elements or creatures, but mainly by highly organized ones, such as people. As we are at the highest degree, we are affected the most. We are the most vulnerable and sensitive.

An essential law of nature, which has not yet been discovered by people, is that we create this imbalance, and it returns to us. In principle it seems to be so easy to grasp.

Comment: So many laws have been discovered, so many scientists, Nobel prizes…

My Response: You will not do anything with Nobel Prizes. We just need to consider carefully that we are in integral nature, in an integral system. And we must take this into account.

And relationships between us are the strongest, the most defining, the highest, and the most acute in this system.

Question: Can we reach a good connection?

Answer: We can if we want to, if we are convinced that it is necessary. Then we can. There is a way, there is a method, there is everything. But there is not even awareness of this. First there must be awareness: “Yes, it is necessary, it is necessary. There is nothing to do. Well, okay, we have to, we must. Show us how. We agree to listen.” And so on. There is no such thing! It is dismissed long before that.

Question: Will humanity come to this? Do you see this? You often have this answer, it will come via suffering.

Answer: So it is written: either by the way of light or by the way of suffering. We understand that these two paths exist. But the path of light means enlightenment. This is a fast, easy, and kind way. And it leads to the need to still make a decision and act, meaning, to get closer to each other, to remove egoism, to act like a human being to each other.

And the path of suffering is a long but reliable path. As it comes from nature, we will not run away anywhere. And now nature introduces it. The good path must come from us, and the path of suffering comes from nature. But we must try to overtake nature. I have nothing more to say.

Let’s hope that people will get wiser after all.

Question: There was a movie Groundhog Day where a person wakes up and lives the same day, wakes up and lives the same day, over and over.

A viewer writes: “How can we deal with disappointments in life? Everything is bland; this was not the case before the coronavirus. Everything is the same, the same emotions, the same fears, like Groundhog Day every day. Nothing is new, nothing changes. I just want to go to bed as soon as possible. Sleep, sleep, and dream. What can I do?”

Answer: I understand him. If, for example, we establish a six-month quarantine, then it would be good to take a pill and wake up in six months. But we cannot do this!

Comment: A person gets up and it is the same day for him.

My Response: Yes. And he must understand that it is the same day and that he cannot change anything. And what should be done to change this? How do I get off this carousel?

To do this, he must change himself. And if he starts to change, the world will start to change and there will be no Groundhog Day.

And the cycles of life that we go through are all the same! It seems to us that every day is something new, that every second is new. There is nothing new.

Question: So if your goal is just to live an ordinary life, to have ordinary desires, then Groundhog Day will happen more often?

Answer: Yes. That is what we have been shown. We are becoming more developed but, as it is said: “He who adds knowledge, adds pain.”

Question: So, we live by this knowledge that we accumulate and now even that is insipid? We do not need it anymore?

Answer: Our knowledge only leads us to a dead end. It shows us how powerless we are against the most important thing: to change something in our lives.

And now we see that the world is entering such a loop again. There was a little bit of democracy, some freedoms, and now we are again entering into a noose that will crush us and tighten ominously around our throats.

Question: Give us some practical advice: How should a person get up in the morning? What should he tell himself, what steps should he take?

Answer: We are expecting positive changes to take place outside. There will be none! We must realize that there can be changes for the better only if we change from inside. That is when we will start depicting our world the way we want it to be! That is what we need to do!

Question: In the meantime, the world is depicted by our nature, our egoism?

Answer: Yes. Our ego has finished its development. It shows you the whole world you exist in. This is what it can give you. And as a result, it will now pressure you, pressure you so much that you will not be able to exist in this world. So you will feel bad, sick, afraid, rough, uncomfortable; in general, anything is possible.

And this is just so that you understand that there are no external changes any more. We have gone through all the stages of our egoistic development, we have reached a state where what can happen next is just to kill each other. That is all, nothing else.

We have driven ourselves into a dead end with our previous immense selfishness. And now we want nothing at all. The new generation doesn’t want anything. We thought that they would be more developed, more driven, but they, on the contrary, do not want anything. And this is true.

And we would be the same in their place. And in some ways, we understand them.

It is all good. And what is the use of demanding, squeezing something out of this world again and again. It cannot give you anything else; there is nothing else in it.

Question: What should I say to my egoism if I have already realized that it was my egoism that painted the whole picture for me?

Answer: That it is right, that it has done its job, it has led you to a state where you must understand, while you are completely disappointed, that you can no longer exist in such a paradigm. You cannot!

What to do? Correct yourself, and the world will be corrected. This is a completely different technique: correcting the world by changing yourself.

It is not easy, but this is a good moment in history when we really need to change the source of our development, the system, the methodology of our development. When our development depends not on how we break the surrounding nature, but on how we change ourselves. And as a result, the world will change.

Changing myself means changing my evil attitude toward everything around me, my consumerist, egoistic attitude into a kind, altruistic one. And then I will begin to see the world differently. I will begin to see another control system through it.

I will merge with this world, I will comprehend its eternity, infinity, and perfection, which is something that I do not see now because I look with my limited egoistic eyes.

This is what we must do.

Question: What is equality between people?

Answer: If we build a society in such a way that a person will have satisfaction from it: “I did it, and everyone sees it, everyone knows, everyone understands and thanks me,” then there is no greater pleasure for that person. He will be ready to work from morning till night. It is only necessary to properly build a chain of public relations.

There will be no equality ever and there is no need. It is not programmed by nature. It does not exist in the animal pack either. What equality exists there? There is a leader, followed by a pair of males helping him, and all the others trail behind. Equality is not programmed by nature. Equality is leveling, it is death.

Comment: But you say that the last generation should be built on the principles of equality.

My Response: Equality means that everyone has an equal right to realize themselves according to their natural abilities and capabilities. Everyone should have equality in realization, in the opportunity to express themselves.

Let us say I was born in a family of rich, strong people, and someone was born in a family of weak, poor people. It does not matter. There should be equality in the opportunity to move forward and not in the fact that everyone was trimmed to the same size.

The next stage will really be like this. When a person begins to receive only spiritual reward and this will be enough for him, when he realizes that for a normal existence he does not need more than what his animal body requires and everything else will be revealed to him as a spiritual reward, a connection with a higher power, with eternity, harmony, and perfection, then the people themselves will consciously cease to be interested in some kind of earthly rewards.

They will not need any medals, no extra money, nothing, and all the rewards will be spiritual because the connection with the Creator will be opened before them.

Comment: Throughout the entire development of humanity, two groups of people, the successful and the weaker ones, have been trying to reconcile, but nothing has come of it. The strong, of course, always succeed and the weak cannot. Accordingly, the strong come to power and use the weak. The legislation of all countries works for the strong without protecting the interests of the weak.

My Response: This leads to all sorts of revolutions and as a result the strong concede to the weak. Then the strong are forced to feed the weak and help them because if the weak rise, they will begin to destroy the strong. Therefore, all this is a double-edged sword.

Thus, society comes to a relatively balanced state. Naturally, if I was born in a rich and powerful family, then I have a different fate than someone who was born, even perhaps with better tendencies, in the family of a farm worker. There is still a lot that depends on different social conditions. However, in principle, a person fulfills himself, we can do nothing about this.

Therefore, in our world, in this plane, it is useless to look for justice. We will never have it here. We can invent all sorts of laws, but we will not change anything.

Look at the unfair laws we have: everyone has to work eight hours a day. But it is impossible to demand the same hours of work from each person.

If I am created by nature as agile, strong, and fast, I will do a million things in eight hours and earn a lot. And the other who is lazy and not very smart barely moves and will not earn his daily bread even in ten hours.

We must understand that nature created us different for some specific purpose and not for the exploitation of the weak by the strong.

Obviously, it is in the right combination with each other that we come to some common denominator, a common perfection. Moreover, the majority of people are not distinguished by a great mind, special qualities, or their sharpness.

Question: Why is there such an imbalance in the percentage ratio?

Answer: According to the pyramid of human society. At the bottom there is a more or less general mass, which by nature has small desires and needs and accordingly drive and everything else. At that, I do not mean the origin of a person because a stupid and lazy laggard can be born in a successful family.

I am talking about the power of desire, about abilities. Very few such people who are at the peak of the pyramid are born. When this small part begins to exploit a large mass, it turns out that on the one hand, they are stronger, but on the other hand, there are fewer of them.

This is where mutual dependence and mutual imbalance arise. How to bring all this to balance? All social theories are based on this. In this way, depending on the amount of egoism that is aroused in both the upper and lower parts of the pyramid, humanity moves from formation to formation.

Answer: No. The death penalty is merely a theoretical concept, and in fact, practically no one was ever executed in the nation of Israel.

I vividly remember twenty years ago when I watched the 9/11 terrorist attacks live on TV. My then teenager daughter and I were leafing through a newly released colorful book when she suddenly stirred from the pages and gazed at the TV screen and told me, “Look what is happening!” I initially said, “No, it’s a movie,” but soon realized that it was real. America was under siege and the world would enter a new era of terrorist threats on a large scale.

I immediately felt we had witnessed just the beginning of a well-oiled terrorist machine, a meticulously coordinated action perpetrated by individuals willing to die for an ideal, and nothing could stop them.

The series of flights hijacked as weapons against the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the plane crash in Pennsylvania claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people. Unfortunately, I do not see that after two decades of the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil the world has truly changed.

The world does not feel this blow as a sign of the need for connection. On the contrary, each nation acts in a selfishly private way. Countries spend billions trying to negotiate with or erase terrorist organizations, but achieve nothing because they do not do it as a coordinated effort. Conversely, the terrorists are actually in touch with each other, have substantial power, money, and weapons, efficient intelligence and very good knowledge of what to do, how to operate and when. That is why our efforts to erase terrorism have proved unsuccessful.

Islamic fundamentalists have a radical and deeply rooted ideology so nothing breaks them. Nowadays, terrorism is a profession. A terrorist can sit in power, lead a country, and be accepted and respected in international organizations such as the United Nations as we have seen in previous General Assemblies with the late Yasser Arafat and others.

Since humanity has not learned anything, we can expect more and larger attacks anywhere in the world. We are like children who refuse to admit our flaws to form a united force to face a common enemy.

For now the terrorists are dormant, waiting for an opportunity to cause harm, and they reinforce themselves while governments from both ends of the political spectrum deliberate on how to counter the threats. The next event could easily unfold as an atomic explosion in a sensitive place in the world. The Suez Canal in Egypt and other emblematic places could be potential targets. Today the world is round and if a place is blown up it ripples strongly across the globe.

Terrorist organizations have a foundation, their doctrine believes in a supreme power that should rule the world; that is a strong driving force to perform radical acts against those who think differently. On the other hand, the business of terrorism is a lucrative one. Do suicide terrorists in Gaza need to work? Of course not. Together with their families they receive generous financial assistance from wealthy regimes.

The 9/11 twentieth anniversary also coincides with the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. As a result of such a lengthy and expensive operation and even after Osama Bin Laden has gone, the world is still not a safer place. On the contrary. Borders and security measures were strengthened; inquiries about each and every person have intensified, but no more than that. Besides the actions to prove the U.S., Russia and allies’ pride to combat terrorism in the world, I do not see anything seriously done to eliminate this plague.

The purpose of Islamic fundamentalism is simple. They want to raise the flag of Islam above the whole earth. For the time being there are conflicts between their different factions which have existed for hundreds or thousand years, but I think these divisions will cease in the future. They will eventually reach agreement and we will see all these organizations coalesce under one umbrella as one organization with the intention for all other countries to bend to its will.

That is their Torah, their religion, the ideal they want to live by and die for. They are fundamentalists, not terrorists, to those who look at their unshakable goal in life. Thus, it is a lost case for the West to start explaining to them what is needed and their version of the principles the world needs to be built upon. No one in the world can change their beliefs. So, under such circumstances, the U.S. and the West will end before extremist groups such as the Taliban and others with a strong, ancient and solid foundation, who are willing to die for their cause will vanish, whereas America is tangled up in the name of democracy.

Like it or not, a military solution will be only a palliative action to combat terror. A more comprehensive approach should include a solution at a higher level than our earthly passing calculations.

Unity is the one ingredient that the world needs, but it has no idea how to achieve it. The role of the people of Israel is to become an example of connection to pave the way for the rest of the world. If we want peace and coexistence this is the way to go.

An even more ancient, strong, solid foundation must be tapped into, the foundation of the Israeli nation, Abraham the Patriarch’s method of connection.

As foremost Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag wrote, the Israeli nation was constructed as a gateway [for] the whole of humanity the world over, until they develop to such an extent that they can grasp the pleasantness and tranquility in love of others. Then the picture of reality will be pleasant and safe.

If we strive to return to the state that existed before the shattering brought by the Creator, then we reveal a higher power within our unity. Therefore, the practical science of Kabbalah is entirely based on connection. It is from this point of view that we must consider our whole life and especially what is happening to us now.

In our so-called last generation, all the forces of nature start to act against us at all levels of the modern world. And this is intended to reveal to us the futility of all our attempts to correct our life at the still, vegetative, and animate levels we still exist in. The correction must take place precisely at the human level so that love can cover all transgressions.

Only then will we be able to reach spiritual existence, only if we correct and establish it by connecting all our separate and opposite parts. The spiritual world begins to open between us and all of nature pushes us toward this. If we do not agree to live like animals that live today only to die tomorrow, but want to achieve immortality and perfection, this exists only on the spiritual degree and not on the still, vegetative, or animate levels.

The spiritual level can be revealed only inside our connection, that is, when we rise above our still, vegetative, and animate nature to take the desires of the human level, broken and divided by hatred and mutual rejection, and make efforts to bring them to unity.

And then, based on this difference in potentials between the rejection due to the division in the human level and the connection that we will be able to achieve on it—within the tension that arises between these two levels—the result of our efforts will manifest as the advantage of light over darkness, that is, the advantage of connection over rejection.

And we will be able to understand the spiritual world, the spiritual force, that is, the Creator, revealed to us in accordance to the measure of our union and love above all rejections and wars.

Therefore, as humanity develops, more and more forces of separation and states of recognition of evil are revealed. Modern civilization is not deficient in anything except for one thing: correct, good relations between us. Then we would easily be able to adjust both our corporeal and spiritual life in the best way.

This is the ultimate goal of our existence. And all problems and troubles, personal and general, that are growing day by day, are designed to show us the need to recognize evil. It will become clear that all our happiness and unhappiness depends only on our connection or distancing, which determines everything that happens in nature.

Therefore, extinguishing fires, planting trees, and all other measures will not help us. Only through our connection with each other can we favorably affect the whole of nature. And by moving away from one another, we destroy the entire environment. So, from the human level, we influence the inanimate world, plants, and animals.

Humanity will have to learn from the new science—the wisdom of Kabbalah—that by our connecting or distancing, we influence the entire universe, everything that happens on Earth: typhoons, extreme heat and cold, planets and stars. In the end, everything depends only on the degree of connection or distance between people.

We still have to understand this new science, to what extent we can with our inner properties cause the entire universe to be a good and harmonious world. This is the science of the generation of the Messiah, the end of correction; to the extent that we can correct ourselves, we will see such phenomena in the world around us.

It is necessary to understand that absolutely nothing in nature around us in the macrocosm and microcosm can change except as a result of connection or distance between people. It is very important to correctly direct your thoughts and desires and realize that everything depends on this.

At first, we lack the sensitivity to reveal this. But if we start to think about it more and more, then as in any profession, we will achieve perfection, the subtlety of perception that will allow us to feel how it all actually works.

The human level is above the still, vegetative, and animate, and therefore, only by our unity can we bring the entire universe and especially the planet Earth and its surroundings to complete balance at all levels.

The strength of our unity is the engine that carries us forward to the world of absolute good, united by positive connections.

Twenty years after the September 11 attacks, the US army has pulled out of Afghanistan, which it conquered following the attack in order to prevent the making of a terror state. Twenty years, nearly 2,400 casualties, and 2.3 trillion dollars later, the United States has left Afghanistan having achieved the exact opposite of its original intention. Equipped with American weaponry, and cushioned with American and international funding, the Taliban is well on its way to create the mother lode of terror states. Through its desire to destroy it, America has bolstered the very monster it had set out to destroy.

Truth be told, I don’t think it could have turned out any other way. Even if it fought against the Taliban twenty-four hours a day the entire twenty years, America would not succeed. It was a guerilla war, and the Taliban were fighting for their faith and for their way of life. In such wars, an invading army, however strong, never wins.

From our perspective, they are terrorists. From their perspective, the Taliban are fundamentalists, and this is why it will continue. Being fundamentalists, they will do in Afghanistan whatever they need to do to achieve their goal, and no one will stop them. In the eyes of radical Islamists, humanity has three options: Join them, serve them, or die.

Now that they have their Islamic state, they can carry on with their plan: to wave the green banner of Islam the world over. For the time being, there are conflicts among radical Islamist groups. However, I think that ultimately, they will unite under one banner, one organization, and make all the countries bow before them, including today’s superpowers.

It is already clear that the dominant countries of the previous century are in various stages of disintegration. They will not last long. The only superpower that will remain is the newcomer in this arena: China.

Admittedly, China is somewhat of a riddle. It does not want to control or dominate in the old sense of the word, at least not the way America and Russia did. It is stretching its arms through purchasing economically strategic facilities, but the benefits of this strategy are still unclear. China produces most of the world’s goods, but production is not an ideology, so it is not clear what it wants. I admit that China baffles me.

Be that as it may, controlling international trade and finances does not last. It is an especially precarious venture when the world is going through such tectonic shifts. It seems to me that China’s attempt to make the world dependent on its production power is only making it dependent on the world. Now that the global economy is slowing, the world’s producers, and first and foremost China, will be the hardest hit.

But in the end, of course, it will all concentrate around Israel. When all the ideologies and power struggles leave the world disillusioned and exhausted, Israel will remain as humanity’s last hope, provided it operates as Israel should. This will be the time when Israel itself will have to unite above all its inner rifts and divisions, and set an example of unity.

The world, torn by hatred and violence, will look to Israel for answers, as it always does in times of crisis. At that time, if Israel rises to the challenge and unites, the world will follow suit, unity will prevail, and the world’s gratitude will be given to Israel. If, however, Israel remains as it is today—fragmented and filled with inner hate—the world will unite against Israel and unleash its wrath against it. Indeed, tectonic shifts are coming.

My new article on Linkedin “It’s Been a Year of Learning”

According to the Hebrew calendar, Monday evening marks the end of the previous year and the beginning of a new one. If I had to describe the past year in a couple of sentences, I would say that it was a very good and productive year, that nature began to teach us in a way it never did before. It taught us that one force acts on all of humanity and we are all its subordinates. This realization is a very positive change that gives us some confidence for the future.

The past year taught us that we are all in one pot, “cooked” by nature’s blows. It is affecting everyone, and we all need to reflect on what is happening to us. What gives me the greatest hope is that we see how dependent we are on one another. It makes me hopeful that we will understand that we are all responsible for one another. This also brings us closer to understanding how we should relate to nature as a whole.

Although we have much more to learn from the upheavals we are going through, the blows have nevertheless been good lessons. There will be several more blows, but we will go through them and learn. Still, the sooner we realize that we are all threaded in a single fabric, and accept that in addition to our own wants, we must take the fabric into account in what we do, the better off we will all be.

The blows that we had suffered over the past year were not punishments, but lessons. Had we learned the lessons, they would have vanished. They are not nature’s response to our “sinful” past; they are its directions for our good future. Just as a parent’s admonition aims to direct a child toward a better future for the child, nature’s wrath diverts humanity from the wrong path to the right one. The sooner we reroute, the sooner nature’s “tone” toward us will change for the better.

We should not regret anything that happened in the past year. Nature is good, and all that it did, it did in order to help us. If we dwell on the past instead of correcting the future, we are certain to repeat the past mistakes and force nature to scold us once again.

Therefore, our gaze should always be forward looking; we should only focus on improving our connections with each other. If we establish good connections, we will become similar to the rest of nature—threaded like the fabric of reality, but of our own volition. If we become like nature, we will feel that nature is kind to us and our lives will be easy, calm, and good.
