Answer: We have already reached the last phase of the development of egoism, but we haven’t fully attained it yet.

Answer: Everyone will be selected. At the end of our development all of us will attain a completely identical level: full altruistic spiritual development.

Answer: It is because the point of truth includes both evil and good within it, as two absolutely identical and equally valued components.

All the great philosophers, on the one hand, felt that humankind is not in harmony with nature. On the other hand, they thought that the proper organization of society would lead to this harmony and an individual would be able realize his creative potential.

All you need for this is to create the right laws, the right constitution. This caused all the revolutions.

Question: Why did humanity have to go through all this in order to come to despair? ..

Answer: This is how our egoism was formed; it had to go through all these stages, ripen, and discover its insignificance and finiteness. Such is its development. This is dialectic.

When Adam revealed the wisdom of Kabbalah, it became clear to him that the entire process was designed for 6,000 years, no less than that. Now it is the 5,777^th year according to the Judaic calendar. There are 223 years left until the end of human development, and then there will be a transition to another area, to the field of forces, from matter to forces.

This is why it does not matter what the philosophers wrote, even though they could see the material future of humanity and all the possibilities for improving life. But this is not according to the laws of nature.

Answer: No, they cannot. These are not intelligent life forms; rather, they have an instinctive form of existence. Does a person in our world act in an intelligent life way? A person in our world acts purely according to natural instincts, no different from animals.

Question: Why is a person always offended by hearing those words?

Answer: It is because the words belittle him to the level of a beast. A person thinks that he is on a higher level, above the level of a beast, but he acts worse than animals do. There is no part of creation that harms all of nature, himself, and those around him, like a human does.

Question from Facebook: You recently published an article about the fact that women don’t want to have children and that their maternal instinct is fading. I didn’t understand why this call is to women and about women. Do women get pregnant by themselves and decide to have a child by themselves?

Have you checked with men whether they want kids; whether they want to bring up children and invest energy, money, care and the attention they deserve? If you haven’t, it sounds as if there is a separate state in which there are only women who have become egoists.

Answer: Neither men nor women are responsible for this situation, but all of society, which does not understand the purpose of life.

Society has become so egoistic that very soon robots will replace everyone. Everyone will have his own fully equipped and automatic apartment, and without leaving it, a person will feel as if he is on Mt. Elbrus in Switzerland or anywhere else, enjoying the fresh smell of a forest, the ocean, or anything one wishes.

While lying in bed, a person will be able to feel the warm sand as if he is lying on the beach, or to smell the campfire he is sitting around with friends. All these feelings will be conveyed to him by robots, by huge screens hanging on the four walls of his home.

At the same time, he will not owe anyone anything. A person will not need women, men, or children, no one… Moreover, if a couple of electrodes are attached to his head, he will feel happy even if all of the above did not happen. So what should one live for? It is better simply to not exist.

We will soon see advertisements on the Internet saying: “If you don’t want this fate, if you don’t want to exist, sign up.” This is what we are being led to, and it all begins from the lack of desire to have a family, to have kids, and to continue the human race.

Answer: In spirituality, 10% of altruists (in relation to the tenth part of the Partzuf) sustain the world. In our world, we need the same thing. If the world were made of 100% egoists, it could not exist.

There must be altruistic egoism, even with the intention for my own sake, in order to dilute this world a bit.

Comment: You said that a person is given the feeling of love in his youth and each of us has, indeed, experienced first love. The second time is when a person has a child, and as for the third time, he has to develop it himself, consciously in relation to strangers.

Answer: The first case is not love but a natural internal hormonal call that is described in many sources. In the second case, when a person has a baby, he feels that he is part of nature and that he is taking some high part in it. This action is similar to the Creator’s action and so it gives a person a special feeling. In the third case, if a person begins to truly resemble the Creator, he can already feel what love is.

Question: In the first two cases I can somehow imagine what love is. Can I relate to these two cases as an example in order to understand how to love others?

Answer: No! In the first case it is merely a hormonal discharge and that’s all. Forgive me for speaking about love and romance this way, but there is nothing else in it. You can ask any psychologist. And as for the love of a baby, it is a beastly emotion.

Nature did not let us feel all that for no reason but to develop the next level in us, which is above nature. You begin to love another not because you like him or because you fill up some of your desires, but because you are bringing the Creator pleasure by that, and this is called altruism.

Question: There are a lot of different ideas of how the world should be corrected. Everything comes down to this being a very important and exalted goal. Religious people expect the Messiah to come and for all the people to become religious.

“Green” people understand the correction of the world as improved ecology. The British National Committee on Environmental Protection recently published a report that lists 50 most urgent measures to “save the world.”

Here are a few of them: radically improve electricity consumption, introduce worldwide use of solar energy, and raise public awareness to reduce the waste of energy. All these measures are from the side of the Greens.

What does the correction of the world mean from the standpoint of a Kabbalist?

Answer: Kabbalah is a very extensive science that touches on the foundations of the world and extends through the whole depth of nature. Therefore, before talking about the correction of the world, we need to find out what in it is spoiled.

Everyone has their own opinion of what needs to be fixed because their major concern is for their own life. If you ask an old person versus a young one, a man versus a woman, married or single, everyone will give you a different answer.

So first we need to gain insight, whether the world is actually imperfect, and exactly how. Is this imperfection dependent on a person or not? And if it is, it follows that it is the person that needs to change, and not the world.

According to the science of Kabbalah, the world is so bad because it was corrupt from the beginning. Everyone is familiar with the story of Adam and Eve who lived in the Garden of Eden; everything was perfect until they violated the prohibition and sinned by eating the apple of the Tree of Knowledge. After that, the snake, or our egoism, started ruling the world. Since then, we began wishing evil to one another, and evidently remain this way to this day.

Apparently, the world would have been much better off if not for the sin of Adam. If people were kinder to each other, then surely our world, our society, would have been better.

If you look at the quality of the whole of nature: inanimate, vegetative, and animate, even there you will see that one consumes the other and lives at the expense of it. So it comes down to it also being in need of correction. There is no species that exists on its own; it is always at the expense of others. Especially man who always builds his own wellbeing to another’s detriment.

It follows that in order to correct the world, we need to correct general nature. And Kabbalah states that if the human nature is corrected, then the entire world would be corrected—everything will unite into one cohesive system, and even wolves and sheep will leave peacefully side by side, and a small child will lead them, as written by the prophets.

Writings of Baal HaSulam, “Building the Future Society”: There is an allegory about friends who were lost in the desert, hungry and thirsty. One of them had found a settlement filled abundantly with every delight. He remembered his poor brothers, but he had already drawn far off from them and did not know their place. What did he do? He began to shout out loud and blow the horn; perhaps his poor hungry friends would hear his voice, approach and come to that abundant settlement filled with every delight.

Question: How do we build such a path so people will feel that it leads to this “settlement filled with every delight”?

Answer: This transition is very difficult and far from popular. The fact is that not many people can move to the new state with their mind, powers, thoughts, and spiritual work.

“With their mind” means with the help of study and practical application of the wisdom of Kabbalah. Only a small fraction of people can do this. All the others will come to the same state precisely because of the influence of the group. The masses won’t have a choice; they will feel miserable, useless, and jobless.

And their suffering will become more internal rather than external. If once a person had no clothes and food, today he doesn’t have internal fulfillment, and this is much worse than hunger or cold. We see how people suffer from depression.

Therefore, the most important thing for us is to assemble a group of people that really can master the new stage of development, and then they will be able to pull the rest of humanity after them.

Comment: It is written that he “began to shout out loud and blow the horn; perhaps his poor hungry friends would hear his voice.”

My Comment: It doesn’t mean that he addressed the broad masses; they can’t hear the spiritual appeal.

They will be able to hear his cry if they feel miserable and hungry; otherwise, they will continue to play with their “toys,” especially since governments are interested in filling their lives with them.

Therefore, the spiritual appeal is directed to a few, and the rest will browse the Internet filled with entertainment and services created especially for them. It is possible to control the masses through the Internet without problems. They will give them free computers, only to keep everyone in an inter-tension.

Question: Is it only in order for them to not feel hunger and start to shout?

Answer: They won’t be able to. After all, the manifestation of hunger for the next state, for the meaning of life, is a fate of the high souls.
