Question: The Creator is burdening my heart. I am in a very low state, and at the same time a glimmer remains where I feel that my friend also has a heaviness of the heart. For whose heart should my prayer be directed first?
Answer: This is not a simple question. But if we reduce it to an ordinary question, then a person who is under the rule of egoism decides for himself what he should start fighting with and what exactly he must humble.
Therefore, in general, the question always comes down who do I obey in this state.

Question: What is “attainment” in Kabbalah?
Answer: It is the awareness within one’s desires of everything that comes from the Creator down to the depth of my desires, which I examine. All the primary, secondary, and other phenomena revealed in their full scope and interconnection constitute attainment.
Question: Can we say that a person goes through three stages: first knowledge, then understanding, and then attainment? Or does one attain everything immediately through feeling?
Answer: It depends on how a person approaches his spiritual work.
Question: Suppose I hear “There is none else besides Him” or some other principle, does that mean I now know that He exists, even without understanding?
Answer: If a person has just begun studying and has not yet attained anything, then yes. But if he is already attaining, sensing, and has spiritual vessels (Kelim), which are the means to determine, feel, and reveal, then his approach is different.
For someone reading and hearing about these things for the first time, it all seems like an incomprehensible alphabet: “Where is this happening? In which world? With whom?” He needs time. What the mind does not allow, time accomplishes.
Gradually, he becomes accustomed to the sound of Kabbalistic terms, to the connection of words into phrases, then into sentences, and finally to the connection of sentences. All this enters him gradually, not through the mind, but through the heart.
To the extent that he tries to be together with his friends united in a group helping, giving, and supporting them, he begins to attain the inner meaning of what he hears.

What Is Spiritual Attainment?
Spiritual Attainment Is Sensual
Clarifying For Myself
It is written in the Mishnah (Taanit, p 26b): “Rabbi Shimon Ben Gamliel said, ‘No days were better for Israel than the fifteenth of Av [11th Hebrew month], and Yom Kippur [Day of Atonement], when the daughters of Jerusalem would come out dressed in borrowed white garments, so as not to shame those who do not have.
The daughters of Jerusalem would come out and dance in the vineyards. What would they say? ‘Young man, lift up your eyes and see what you choose for yourself.
Do not cast your eyes on beauty; cast your eyes on family.’” (And on page 31) “Those who did not have wives went there. Our sages taught, ‘What would the beauties among them say? ‘Turn your eyes to beauty, for a woman is only for beauty.
’What would the wellborn among them say? ‘Cast your eyes on family, for a woman is only for sons.’ In The Eye of Jacob he adds, ‘The wealthy among them say,
‘Cast your eyes on the wealthy.’ What would the unsightly ones among them say? ‘Take what you take for the Creator, as long as you crown us with gold coins.’” (Rabash, “The Fifthteenth of Av”)
“The unsightly Daughters of Jerusalem” is the final stage of Malchut, Dalet de Dalet, called “poor and wretched.”
A person runs away from such work; he has no motivation or desire for it because all of this work is in faith above reason.
One must understand that this is arranged deliberately, precisely to help a person attain the spiritual world!
He must see that exactly where his egoistic desire does not function, where there is no desire, where beauty and fulfillment do not attract, that is the sign he needs a different kind of fuel.
He is given the opportunity to picture a state in which he is not bribed by his egoism, and if he works in such a state, it will be for the sake of bestowal.
But where will he get such “anti-fuel,” the ability to work without energy, without filling his ego?
It is precisely in such a state that he realizes he needs the Creator’s help. If he does not receive the force called “the light” from above, he cannot move from his place.
If I desire only to bestow without wishing to receive any compensation, neither wealth, nor beauty, nor nobility, and I choose a “poor and wretched wife” in the evaluation of my egoism, and choose only the ability to bestow without any conditions, then I arrive at the day of joy, the Day (quality and light) of Love (the 15th of Av).

Question: Did Kabbalists of the past try to bring the method down to each person?
Answer: No! This has never happened! They have been trying very hard to lower the threshold only in our time, in the last 100 years.
Comment: But you said that the method must be lowered so far that it practically touches the tip of egoism.
My Response: So that it becomes understandable to anyone, to absolutely everyone.
A person living on the simplest egoistic level should clearly understand that the wisdom of Kabbalah reveals the secrets of the world, allows them to understand their destiny, and even change it.
Indeed, by drawing the upper light, we do change our destiny! What else shapes our future if not it?
So it needs to be explained simply and directly to every person while gradually revealing that this involves serious inner work, work on correcting the errors of nature.

Toward Greater Mutual Understanding
How To Break Through Egoism’s Armor
Adapt Kabbalah
Comment: In order to implement the method of Kabbalah, three components are necessary: a group of like-minded individuals, original sources, and an instructor. Work in a group of like-minded individuals is the work of coming closer to one another to reveal the goal that Kabbalah speaks of: the revelation of the Creator.
My Response: Our world is intended for us to carry out the work called the restoration of the soul. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, the Creator created a system of a single common soul called “Adam.” This system, in its original state, consisted of egoistic desires that were connected together and worked toward one goal: to support one another.
Then a shattering occurred, and the entire structure broke apart into a vast number of inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human elements, which are now in a state of relative connection with one another. Relative because their relations to one another imply only mutual complementation, that is, using each other, and on the other hand, a desire to constantly develop at the expense of others, to absorb one another. This is the egoistic principle of existence of the entire system.
Now we must return it to its original state, in which all its parts will relate to each other, not egotistically from a purely consumerist standpoint for themselves, but with the understanding that it is necessary to work for the entire system as a whole, for the sake of all. Therefore, every mature, sound element of the system must attain the state of “love your neighbor as yourself.”
Only under this condition will all the elements unite above their initial egoism and form a single, unified, integral system that will be able to exist properly and be filled with a special force called the Creator.
This work we must carry out here in this world, now in our generation. We are those who understand the significance of this work, the conditions that nature or the Creator provides us with, the importance of our mission, and who feel such a drive and responsibility for it.
That is why we gather in a group to unite in mutual help, mutual efforts, and to connect all our ties together in similarity to the global force of the Creator. The Creator represents the force of bestowal, connection, love, and mutual complementation. And we must generate this force between us in such a way as to become similar to Him in our relationships.
We cannot do this by ourselves because we are initially opposite to one another. Each of us is an egoist and cannot think of others. But we can ask Him to change us. And then, in the group, we will be able to realize this idea.

Building Bridges In The Connection Between Us
Who Builds The Bridge Of Connection Between Us?
The Spiritual Work Of Each Person
Comment: Sometimes people have bad genetics. But scientists have invented molecular scissors that can be used to cut off the bad hereditary information so that it does not affect subsequent generations. A defective gene can be cut out, and the person is different: he does not get sick, his character even changes.
My Response: I believe that all this needs to be critically checked. Naturally, we will face a lot of problems here because all diseases actually bring health. They heal, if not the person who dies from it, then at least humanity is freed from it.
Just as wolves, eating other animals, are the “orderlies” of the forest, so are the diseases that are directed at us. If there weren’t such problems, there would already be who knows how many billions of people, no matter what we do. We would only build more and more hospitals and homes for the elderly.
We must understand that nature will do it in its own way anyway, but we are trying to do it through our own means, and nature, the supreme government, does it through its own.
And all these inventions of scientists are given to us from the same natural program. But, in general, we still need to check how rational it will be.
The fact is that we do not understand the laws of nature and to what extent we are given and what exactly to correct ourselves, and to what extent nature itself will correct us in accordance with this, and instead other problems, other diseases will appear. We just don’t see the connection between them.
Let’s say there is going to be a cold snap or warming, or other problems, maybe a war, and another couple billion people will die from it. This may be due to the fact that we will tweak our genes and try to make ourselves healthy.
That is, it’s still a closed picture. That is why you can’t do what you want to do: you heal in one place, you cripple in another.
Question: If this were done by a Kabbalist who feels the law of nature, the forces governing the universe, and the connections that exist between us, how would he do it?
Answer: He wouldn’t do it. He would teach people how to influence the root of their lives, the root of their problems, so that they would correct it there and not with the help of molecular scissors at such an insignificant ancient level. Why would I cut off some chromosomes and rearrange all sorts of genes?! Why do I need this?
I know in advance that all these manipulations will come out of the way in something else anyway. You can’t mess with nature; it won’t work! She will definitely do something else. All the same, you will have to come to construct yourself in a new way with the help of an upper force in accordance with the higher government and with God’s example.
Question: What would a Kabbalist doctor do?
Answer: It would be only to reach the highest stage of a person’s inner development and from the inner development would come all the rest of the external, and as a result, human health.
