Arvut: The Law Of The Common Soul

laitman_963.6Arvut (Mutual Guarantee) is the law of the system of the common soul and all of nature. It is a single vessel whose parts are separated by their egoism and are brought back to unity through their desire to bestow. Due to the difference between the separating desire to enjoy and the connecting desire to bestow, the gap between these two tendencies is what allows creation to receive all the goodness from the Creator and exist.

The only problem is with a person who is intentionally created to violate the law of Arvut, the law of simple unity. Human aspiration is the opposite of unity, the Creator, and connection, and that is why a person feels existence in a reality called “this world,” in suffering and lowliness. The whole world is setup to bring the person to the realization of his evil nature and to the revelation of the goodness of the global, integral nature of unity.

Our purpose is to reveal unity to the point of attaining the root of this connection, the single force of the Creator, which is all that exists.

The Creator created the evil inclination, and the righteous, who want to justify the Creator, return the entire system to good through requests and prayers. They request adhesion with the Creator, and are thus called “righteous”; they justify creation because the Light is perceived only from darkness.

It is impossible to comprehend the good from good; it cannot be perceived. The created beings can only feel contrasting qualities. Therefore, the Creator’s creation of the evil inclination was a great gift to us. It was a double gift: the opportunity to reveal the good and to ask for it to be realized in us.

There are many ways to reach the Creator. There are secular people, religious people, Israel, and 70 nations of the world. And in the people of Israel there are 70 roots as an imprint of the 70 nations. By working to unite the people of Israel, we push and obligate all humanity toward connection. By uniting the people of Israel and correcting the roots of the nations of the world, we correct the whole world.

Therefore, first the law of Arvut must be realized by the people of Israel. After that it will spread to the rest of the nations and turn all humanity into a single nation as it was in the ancient Babylon before the mixing of the languages.

Arvut is the law of nature. We gradually realize that everything depends on following this law and that the whole Torah is dedicated to carrying out the law of Arvut. Therefore, only by agreeing to execute the law of mutual guarantee do we receive the Torah. All the commandments are the Creator’s rules to achieve Arvut. We hope that the people of Israel will come to understand this and that the whole world will follow.1

The heart is a desire covered with an egoistic shell. Therefore, we need to rub our hearts to peel off this shell and reveal the net desire on which we can receive the intention to bestow.2

New Life #139 – The Future Of Influence And Leadership

New Life #139 – The Future of Influence and Leadership
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

Control will be based on the understanding of nature. People no longer aspire to gain money, power, knowledge, and information. Younger generations lack the desire to get married, have a family, and raise children. Today, humanity feels like a child who has been forgotten all alone at home. It has totally lost its way and feels empty. The public is going mad and losing control as demonstrated by unemployment, terrorism, and riots. We no longer look to philosophers, politicians, scientists, and heads of state for direction and leadership. Our internal nature isn’t leading us forward anymore. It is becoming clear that we don’t understand who we are, where we are living, and what the general plan is. We have come to a halt. We need a new paradigm based on the laws of nature. Nature is a closed system of bestowal and feedback. We need to study nature in order to learn the right attitude toward society, economics, family, and ecology. We have to reveal the goal of nature regarding human connection. Whoever wishes to be influential must lead humanity toward correction and mutual connection. This is the business of the future. The media can play a vital role in the integral education of every individual. The people who teach this new, integral approach to life will soon be perceived as the dearest and most respected people in the world.

My Thoughts On Twitter 2/11/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

If one accepts faith above reason, even without joy, submitting to Malchut, one agrees with this state that this is apparently the Creator’s desire. Hence one does not care about inspiration since he does not care about himself or about benefit
… but only about benefit for the Creator—he is in complete submission.

In the beginning of each degree, one must accept the Creator’s rule anew. By that he fills part of the desire unfilled by the Creator with the Creator’s rule, transfers ego to holiness, and so on—until all egoism is transferred to the Creator’s rule.
Believing that each time, his action is new!

Globalists create fake information, placing the interests of an abstract humanity united by tolerance above the interests of people and nations.
Kabbalists likewise see the future as a united humanity, but as a result of upbringing, united by revelation of the Creator.

If one really wishes to go by faith above reason, he doesn’t wish to see the good governance clearly since “seeing is not believing.” Rather than asking to feel the good governance, he asks for the force of faith, as though seeing the Creator’s good governance with reason …
… so there will be no difference between faith and reason.

One who goes toward faith, bestowal, must understand that he is being treated in a special way from above:
-he is lowered in order to think about the goal, what is wanted of him, and what he wants for the Creator to give him;
-he is raised—when there is no need to care for spirituality, but he wishes to remain in it.
It turns out, descents produce an ascent!

What I think is Me is not me. What I think is the friends—that is the real me. The distorted perception doesn’t let me see that the real me is the ten, in which the Creator dwells. I am given a perception of seeing myself alone—so I could correct it and magnify it 620-fold.

Joy testifies to faith in the Creator’s good governance, despite any state one is in. He’s happy. And the degree of joy testifies to the degree of his faith. He is not in himself, but in the Creator—not in his desire, but in the Creator’s desire—and is therefore always in joy

Understanding The Creator’s Rule

laitman_622.01Question: Why is perceiving evil a denial of the Creator’s rule rather than acceptance of His governance as evil? If He rules, what is the reason I feel evil?

Answer: That is not the point. It is not important to the Creator or even to yourself what and how you feel. The main thing is that if you perceive the upper governance as evil, you do not have the right understanding of it. For that you must be in equivalence of form with the upper governance.

Now you are like a little child who is forced to do something by his parents and he thinks that they are evil. How would you advise him to act? You would tell him: “You have to understand that they want what is best for you. If they treat you “well,” it really would be bad for you.”

We need to understand the Creator’s rule. Then we will see the world correctly and reveal why He acts this way. We turn on the TV, open a newspaper, get on the Internet, and get a barrage of news and gossip…

We cannot make sense of it, but all of it is the governance of the Creator. If we could see the whole picture, we would understand how He manages all of humanity and how we can help Him with it, like a child who wants to understand what his parents want from him.

Why Did The Creator Make The Evil Inclination?

No Agreement, No Group

laitman_528.02Rabash, Writings of Rabash, the article “The Agenda of the Assembly 2”: This is similar to what is written in the Midrash (Vayikra Rabba, Chapter 4): “Two people went inside a boat. One of them began to drill beneath him making a hole in the boat. He told him, ‘Why are you drilling?’ And he replied, ‘Why should you care; I am drilling under me, not under you?’ So he replied, ‘You fool! Both of us will drown together with the boat!’”

You should always take into account what you are doing for the group—a positive or a negative action that can be measured only in relation to the assembly.

The order should be that anyone with a suggestion that can improve the love of friends, it should be discussed, but it must be accepted by all the friends, so there is no issue of coercion here.

The discussion should be very clear, precise, and comprehensive so that everyone agrees and accepts it for implementation. It cannot be otherwise. If there is no consent, there is no group.

Question: In the inner work, I can visualize it. But how can such a state arise externally so that everyone agrees with the decision made by the group?

Answer: This is what internal work is about. You connect ten elements that will become a system where the Creator will reveal Himself. If at least one element disagrees, then this is as Rabash writes: “a hole in the boat.”

New Life #138 – Social Networking in the Next Generation
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

In the future, the Internet will fill us with life, pleasure, and joy through integral education. It will teach people how to create a balanced, internal, human network through open, direct, cooperative, supportive, mutual, and intimate relationships. It will show people who they are, what they enjoy, in what sense they are free, and how they can fulfill themselves. Workshops, games, news sites, and quality programming will be used to build human connection. Today, people feel empty and frustrated since the Internet does not supply energy or vitality. In the next generation, 7 billion people will tear down all the borders and connect to the online network like to Mother Nature.
