Envy The Good

962.6Comment: Usually people envy each other with standard egoistic envy.

My Response: What do you want from people?! They need to be educated. Today, in the 21st century, they are at the same level of development as 10,000 years ago. At absolutely the same level! Their inner potential, their inner attitude to “I and the world” did not change, but only became worse, more egoistic.

Who do you consider to be human? A creature that can press buttons on a phone, work with text messages, or something else like that? What has changed in him? His attitude to the world? No! Only the toys he uses have changed.

But he himself is a consumer-egoist, an all-hater. His attitude to everything and the world around him became much worse.

We need to transform evil egoism into good. Good egoism is based on the fact that I envy the positive qualities of others and want to be like them.

I thank them for giving me a good example and helping me with this. I will beg them, and they will help me pull myself up.

I do not envy the fact that someone has become rich, smart, and knowledgeable. To the contrary! I want to be like them, and with the help of this, I advance.

I understand egoists who want everyone to be worse than them. But, in principle, this is the smallest, most undeveloped egoism.

Big, fruitful, and correctly implemented egoism is when you envy the good. And as much as possible!

As we say in the group: we must envy our friends. I have to think that they are the biggest, and I am nobody and nothing. Then everything starts to burn in me! Not because I want to bring them all down, criticize and erase them, but because then I can pull myself up to them.

They may be very small, as in the example of Rabbi Yossi Ben Kisma, but I can advance. This is what is important to me. Because no one knows who he is. In fact, his height is from here to the world of infinity. Each and everyone’s!

Restoration of the General Organism

275Comment: You say that the entire world is within a person, but I perceive myself as existing outside of you.

My Response: Of course! I perceive you that way too, although I know with certainty that it is all within me. But I address you as someone existing outside of myself.

But I have no complaints about your external self. If I want to change something, it is not you that I should change, take a screwdriver or pliers to, to get inside you and start tinkering or rewiring. No! I should change myself. Then you, as an external reflection of some internal image of mine, will change as well.

Question: How do you change all this?

Answer: Only by rising above egoism with love can these desires be united together and directed toward a common center within me. In principle, it is done like this: I try to feel your desires and influence them so that they become better.

Question: Isn’t this just psychology where you artificially justify another person?

Answer: No, if I justify there will be nothing for me to correct. I must reveal my true actions in this.

Question: Suppose you see a desire outside of yourself and perceive it. How do you change it within yourself? How does this process happen? How do you see the changed reflection?

Answer: I simply see that there is complete internal convergence with this desire. We unite in thoughts, feelings, understanding, and decisions. We become like one entity helping each other.

These two desires, yours and mine, are different in their origin. That is, at the starting point you have certain desires and I have others, but externally in their implementation they become similar, and we work together in perfect harmony.

If two people already in a spiritual state, meaning a Kabbalist with a Kabbalist, are engaged in correcting desires, then their joint work goes against the rest of uncorrected desires. They create dipoles, tripoles, and quadripoles, and begin to function as a joint organism. And thus, it is as if they are being rebuilt.

Healing the Sick Organism

944Question: Given that Kabbalists cannot influence a person against his will, how do they create a spiritual field?

Answer: When they create a field between themselves within this large, still-sick organism that is affected by all sorts of tumors and cancerous elements, an understanding emerges that there is a major positive healthy organ. Other cells of the body want to connect to this organ. These are my cells. In a way, I am healing myself.

Question: So in fact, a Kabbalist generates desires for others?

Answer: If we talk about the correct conceptual understanding, it is not the others but myself; it is within me.

By connecting between us, we create a positive field around ourselves, which on the outside positively affects the whole of humanity, supposedly just like that.

But in fact, the inner work of course takes place in another reality—the true one. First of all, you begin to understand what our world is and perceive reality correctly. Like in the movie “The Lawnmower Man” where the main character is fighting inside some white cube, as if inside himself, reflecting his thoughts.

It becomes quite clear that everything is inside you. Only it is not limited by some external cube; it is in you or you are in it, it doesn’t matter how you say it. Separation disappears whether it is in me or I’m in it.

Our task is to correct all our desires, which we perceive as external and human in relation to each of us. Correction of inanimate, vegetative, and animal desires does not depend on these desires; they are not independent. But in every desire of the fourth type, “the human in me,” there is its own freewill.

Therefore, I can correct this desire only if I integrate in it and pass a certain amount of information to it. The desire will evaluate this information, accept it, and connect itself back to me. That is, this sick cell, this sick body or organ, can make its own decision whether to connect back to me or not.

Question: Why is it when you explain that we are so drawn to visualization?

Answer: We have nothing else! We have to imagine everything in the form of some image.

But this is temporary. When you start to seriously work with desires, the meaning of time between them disappears, the sense of space disappears, only the causal relationship of desires remains. Therefore I can no longer say whether it exists in me or outside of me. It is desire!

Win Your Place

938.03Question: Is there any danger that the backbone of the world group, which is used to certain rules, will not let others in? How difficult would it be for the group to welcome new people?

Answer: I see that those people who want to join have the strength, hunger for knowledge, agility, and maturity; they join and take their places.

Question: So there is a natural selection?

Answer: Of course. A person must win his place and prove his necessity for others.

But we are not kicking anyone out. Please, admission is free. We welcome every friend, anyone, wherever he comes from, and whoever he is. And then it is his business.

Life in the Common Soul

938.01In an integral society, only those signals that support the correct functioning of the entire system will be perceived.

Such signals include teaching how to work together correctly and the laws of the common system known to us from Kabbalah. Kabbalah is engaged in the correct organization of the common actions of people so that they come to such a coordinated mode of work among themselves when the system begins to unfold.

All its parts, properties, and connections come to life, and a huge amount of unlimited information and feelings flow through them. As a result, it opens up so much that its inner life begins to be felt in it, not of each individual, but the common one: common opinions, common desires, common views, and common aspirations.

And this general is a completely different state of humanity, a level higher. These are desires, properties, connections, the life of a common organism that does not exist yet.

When individuals lock themselves together and begin to work in concert, this common organism receives new properties, new vitality. It works at the next level called spiritual. Why? Because by closing in on each other in a good connection, people create a completely new life, a new platform, new sensations, energy, information—everything is new. This is the spiritual world, the spiritual state.

People are included in a completely different mind and other layers of attainment and sensations. They break away from their physiological animalistic bodies and begin to feel that they are in the universal mind within a generalized, mutual universal feeling. This is life in the common soul. This is what we must all come to. Nature is now beginning to push all of humanity to this level.

To Ask or Thank?

624.07Question: Does it make sense not to ask the Creator, but just to thank Him? Or is it a plea that is necessary?

Answer: Our appeal to the Creator consists of two parts: a plea and gratitude. It is best to start with gratitude because it prepares us for the right relationship with the upper force, then there is the plea.

Question: How do you thank correctly?

Answer: Do it from the heart. As you feel it, that is the way to thank. There are no canons or rules in this. Desire is in the heart.

The Role of the Teacher in Kabbalah

165Question: Is it possible to go through the entire Kabbalistic methodology according to The Book of Zohar and The Study of the Ten Sefirot?

Answer: Of course not! Even if Shamati, Baal HaSulam’s letters, and Rabash’s articles are included, it is still impossible; a teacher is needed for this. And those who do not have one are engaged in currents revolving around Kabbalah such as Hasidism, New Age, and others, and it seems to them that they are already in it.

The realization of texts themselves, clear, internal, Kabbalistic ones, cannot be realized without a teacher. After all, he works on you more than you work on yourself. Just as a mother and father work on a child to raise him and it seems to him that he is growing by himself. Only later, when he has his own children does he begin to understand this.

No one can reach the spiritual degree by himself! Only if there is someone who teaches you all the time, “slips” you all sorts of actions, knowledge, questions, and guides you. Why do I always give an example with children? This is an exact copy of the spiritual growth!

If Everyone Thought about One Thing

938.01Question: According to Kabbalah, collective thought is very effective. For example, if we have some important meeting related to dissemination, we ask everyone to think about it. What is happening at this time?

Answer: There are not some secret or mystical forces that begin to work, but desires that are connected together because our thoughts and feelings connect with each other.

Imagine if all the people on earth thought about one thing at the same time, what a power it would be! Especially here, when we need to think about bestowing, of course we need each other’s help.

It is written about this in all Kabbalistic articles about the group. What else is the purpose of the group if not strengthening my desire due to the fact that the desires of others are adjacent to mine because by them we are connected with each other?

There are many scientific studies on this topic today that prove all people are connected in desires and thoughts.

Against One’s Will

557Question: When a person goes against his will by force, does it mean that he is doing some spiritual work? And if he does what he likes according to his desire, then does he not advance at all?

Answer: Why should he do something against his will? No.

Perhaps there are such moments, but in principle, nothing should be forced. It all depends on the importance of the goal. If the goal is important and I feel it as important, then for me it is just a song, a fairy tale, I move forward with joy.

Question: Very often I hear the phrase “go against your will.” Meaning, is it recommended to organize such games so that a person supposedly goes against his will?

Answer: These games are needed only so that we can speed up our journey, so that I can see how much I am under the force of these desires, how weak I am, and that should join the group faster, rely on my friends, get strength, elevation, and greatness of the spiritual goal from them.

Question: What is the solution? To go, but effectively with the desire? Or go against the will, and do unusual work?

Answer: It is this way and that way. It is impossible to go only against desires by force.

If you can overcome yourself, it means that you have found a more important goal in yourself than the one that exists at the moment. That is the point. If I am lazy, I do not want to do anything, then I have to enter into an environment that would give me the importance of the spiritual goal and spiritual development. Then it will not be hard for me to do everything.

And if I do it only involuntarily, physically, then this is a preliminary stage, a very weak inclusion in development.

One Cannot Advance Without a Teacher

961.2When I started studying Kabbalah, there were no sources where the inner work of a person was described; they were all hidden. Even my teacher Rabash kept all this in his archive. And just because I studied with him, was his assistant, secretary, and student, I took the whole archive and started publishing it. Otherwise nothing would have happened!

It all started with the book Shamati (I Heard). And then Rabash’s aticles were published from which it became clear to us what to do. Otherwise humanity would not have had it.

Without a teacher, without receiving clear instructions for many years, when lessons go in a systematic manner and the material is hammered into you over and over again until it makes a hole in your egoism and begins to fill it with another quality, it is impossible to attain the upper world.

This is a huge job that cannot be done by the person himself. Just as a small child cannot grow up without the help of others and reach the level of an educated adult, it is the same here.
