In the corporeal world, fulfillment extinguishes pleasure. If I am hungry and start to eat, then gradually I satisfy my hunger and lose my appetite, and along with the appetite, the pleasure disappears. As a result, I remain empty, a complete zero, and so it is with everything.

Fervent love that flared up at first gradually becomes routine and cools down. Habit dulls the taste of pleasure and eventually kills it, which leads to death.

But spiritual life is eternal and perfect because even before entering spiritual actions, we learn how to make them eternal and perfect, that is, our desire does not disappear but only grows. You must understand that desire is the main thing, and you must constantly work on its growth and quality.

Therefore, spiritual progress is determined by how developed and multifaceted our desire is that includes all sorts of shades of properties prepared for us by the Creator when Adam HaRishon was shattered.

And we cherish this desire so that not a single particle disappears from it. We make sure that all desires exist and support each other, that they grow enriching one another, and it is through this that we reach the full light of NRNHY, the end of correction.

The difference between the corporeal and the spiritual world is that in corporeal actions, fulfillment extinguishes the desire. And in spirituality, we learn how to increase the desire more and more by receiving pleasure.

Therefore, desire is the main thing for us, not the fulfillment. After all, the fulfillment depends entirely on the growth of the desire and its correct positioning. I begin to enjoy the desire itself, the fact that it grows and gets stronger.

This is a completely different work because I do not care about fulfilling my desire. After all, there is always infinite content in the upper world, and I only need to worry about having the right desire all the time and growing it as much as possible.

Therefore, our prayers, requests, and praises to the Creator are so important, any appeal to Him, because they determine our state and fulfillment. In fact, I enjoy the desire that I have in me.

That is why the torments of first love are so sweet. They are the ones that give pleasure, not corporeal fulfillment. Fulfillment comes and goes and leaves emptiness behind. It is the yearning that is capable of filling the soul and remains in the memory.

We see that all works of art speak of mental anguish, aspirations, and prayer. Therefore, we must not forget that genuine fulfillment comes from yearning for the loved one.

If fulfillment only increases the desire, this is a sign that we are in spirituality. Only when striving to give out from myself do I not suppress the filling but expand the room for it and increase it.

Man must be convinced of his complete helplessness, must have lost all hope to reach spirituality by his own forces. This is a very important conclusion, and it takes a long time for a person to understand that there is not even one quality in him with which he can succeed except for the only chance the Creator left—connection with Him.

The only thing a person can do is to ask and nothing else! In everything else I am just an animal, and only a tiny thread connects me with the Creator. By grasping this thin thread, I can climb from the degree of an animal to the degree of man.

This discovery can take years for a person to understand and start asking. He asks for one thing only: for the force of bestowal. I want to bestow to my friends, to bestow to the Creator; I do not want to remain an animal, I want to become a man.

And here a question arises. Why do I need the degree of man? What is my intention? Is it unpleasant for me to be at the animate level or do I want to bestow? Maybe I hope that at the spiritual degree it will be better for me, for my egoism? This still needs to be clarified in order to cross the border from the corporeal to the spiritual world.

The Creator arranges all states of man in such a way that they all direct him to search for the upper force, the source of life. He engineers everything so that man constantly stumbles against a wall.

After many bangs against the wall, this labyrinth finally brings him to the correct appeal. A person learns how to turn to the Creator and with what request, and in return, the Creator gives him the force of bestowal out of His own forces.

That is when a person becomes a man, Adam, that is, similar to the Creator according to the force he received from Him. This is how he begins to come out of his egoism, like a sprout breaking out from the ground, and to correctly build himself with understanding and awareness.

However, the Creator constantly sets new conditions for him against this growth, and each time a person must find a way to turn them into favorable conditions and advance until he reaches the goal.

The most important thing is to see that all the conditions we receive both in spirituality and in corporeality, individually and collectively, come from above, from the Creator, in order to arrange us and take us through the labyrinth that leads to the entrance of the spiritual world.

It is important to discover in each state that we will not achieve anything through the force of our egoistic desire. Only by breaking away from it spiritually and fully relying on the Creator, on His force of bestowal, the second force that exists in nature, and connecting our spiritual life with it can we move forward step by step. The Creator will put obstacles in our way each time by placing new conditions, and we will turn to Him again and again above these obstacles.

All states must be perceived as necessary stages, degrees that we must go through in order to build the correct appeal, and external accompanying conditions. Everything is arranged in an optimal way to lead us to the correct request. As it is written: “And it came to pass that the sons of Israel sighed because of the work,” from the slavery, from being under the control of the egoism.

This is when we emerge out of the control of egoism, that is, from the Egyptian exile, enter the upper world, and reach the revelation of the Creator to the created beings. The Creator gives us the force of bestowal, the force of faith above reason above the force of reception.

The main thing is to realize more and more clearly that everything depends only on the Creator. The difficulties, their resolution, and the correct answers, everything comes to us from the Creator. Only one thing depends on us: not to give up our attempts, but to pressure and pressure the Creator through the ten, to ask and demand He give us His force in order to resemble Him. Then we will become “…sons of the Lord your God.” having received the force of bestowal, like the one He has.

Question: Does the third commandment: “You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain” mean that you cannot attract the force of the Creator in order to perform any egoistic action?

Answer: You can act by the force of the Creator only to the extent of your similarity to Him, to the extent of your uniting with Him.

Question: Can you not summon its influence upon yourself or use it egoistically for your own sake to defeat nations, enrich yourself, and so on?

There can only be one prayer when we turn to the Creator, the one source that controls everything and does everything. And so the only prayer that He answers is the request for the opportunity to bestow, for thoughts about giving.

We must help each other through envy and ambition to achieve such a desire to receive the power of bestowal from above. The Creator expects this request from us, and this is the only thing that He is ready to give us, nothing more. He will continue to twirl the creatures and the whole world until we realize that the only thing we need is the altruistic desire, the force of bestowal.

All this we can get from the Creator: the desire, the force, and the instructions on how to use them. And then we will build spiritual Partzufim out of ourselves that the The Study of the Ten Sefirot writes about, and we will feel higher and higher spiritual degrees, worlds, eventually reaching the degree of the Creator.

But from the very first stage, we start to feel the eternity and grandeur of creation, which is above all the limitations of this world and includes everything. All this is attained only in our desires of bestowal received from the Creator. We just need to ask Him to give them to us.

The prayer should contain a clear understanding that man must attain the force of bestowal, but at the same time, that there is not a drop of this force in him and that only the Creator can give it. This is the only desire of man—to receive the force of bestowal and nothing more.

Previously, to prepare for the congress, it was necessary to make huge physical efforts: many hours of flights, visas, etc. But the upcoming congress will be virtual and nothing but internal effort is required. We want to be together with all our heart and soul, above space and time, in one heart, that is, in one desire.

We want to combine all our desires for connection and mutual integration in such a desire that will somehow match the Creator’s desire to connect with us and clothe in us. And then “The one will adhere to one,” and we will reveal the Creator.

All this depends on the strength of our connection into one desire. If this force is sufficient for the smallest revelation of the Creator, then we will feel Him within our unity.

We all try to realize our connection by uniting in one desire. That is, I want to reveal the desires of my friends and drown in them. If we turn to the Creator with this, He clothes into us because He expects only that. This should be the outcome of the congress. If we manage to do this in some way, we would already be taking a step forward into spirituality: everyone will disconnect from their corporeal desires, we will all connect with each other, and the Creator will complete our efforts and clothe in them.

Everyone who wants to achieve the force of bestowal, the revelation of the Creator, must attach his desire to the aspirations of his friends and unite them together. And then the Creator will hear this request and answer it.

It is necessary to understand that it is impossible to achieve a genuine desire at once. After all, it must act in the direction of bestowal and we do not have the strength to do it. We can only get a little closer to it, then a little more, and a little more due to the fact that we are integrated in each other. And that is why we have to do so many actions.

If we are not integrated in each other, we would not be able to advance in our work. The whole work is about interconnection: first we are intertwined a little, and then more and more. And when this mutual integration reaches the necessary measure, we achieve the result.

Otherwise, the Creator does not hear our prayer. He somewhat reacts to any appeal, but only responds to the perfect prayer.

Therefore, do not despair and give up. We need to take an example from a child who does not let go of his parents and does not stop whining and demanding what he wants. So we gradually form and shape our desire for spirituality and combine our desires into one.

The desire of each one is wedged in between the desires of others, then together they are included in other desires, etc. Therefore, a lot of actions are required to achieve a complete integral connection. It is a miracle when opposite, different desires are combined and build a perfect system of the entire reality. They all contradict each other, but they connect above this contradiction and create the whole world of Infinity.

Question: How should I work with the four types of desires that are manifested in me when I work in the ten?

Answer: Prepare interrelated, mutually complementary qualities so that one common upper force is manifested in them.

Question: But what should I do when, say, the desires of “Egyptians” arise in me? I feel that I only want to perform actions, I do not have the strength to even think about intention. I do not want to hear about it at all!

Answer: Pray.

So, it turns out that your egoism is here, the Creator is here, and you are between them in order to correctly connect them with each other so that the Creator corrects egoism, and egoism approaches the Creator.

What is the characteristic of a Kabbalistic prayer that distinguishes it from the prayers of ordinary people? A prayer of an ordinary person emanates from his egoism without any intention to unite with others and ascend to the Creator.

Therefore, this prayer has a purely psychological effect, calming the person but not changing anything in reality. It has no effect on spiritual forces.

It is possible to influence the forces governing creation only by uniting. If the ten unites, then the whole ten acts as one in relation to the upper force.

And if we do not unite in the ten above our egoism, then we do not have any impact on the upper force. It can be influenced only to the extent of the equivalence of properties, and for a minimum equivalence we need to unite our attitudes in the ten.

Therefore, all the prayers of mankind to the Creator have no effect on Him. They are a natural reaction of the desire to receive pleasure, which the Creator Himself provided to each person. Therefore, it makes no sense for Him to listen to the requests of this desire to receive pleasure, which He Himself created.

But if we combine our desires in the ten and, despite our egoism, want to achieve something higher, that is, the power of bestowal instead of the power of reception awakened in us by the Creator, then we really turn to the Creator as the very source of bestowal. And then He gives us the power of bestowal with which we become like Him.

Our prayer is aimed at becoming like the Creator and gaining the power of bestowal, like Him. And this is possible only if we unite in corporeality.

All other prayers, no matter what religion they belong to, are requests for egoistic fulfillment. Therefore, they are of no use except to gradually lead a person to the need to ask for connection between all and adhesion with the Creator on the basis of the power of bestowal and not the power of reception.

Here lies the huge, cardinal difference from the prayer of a Kabbalist in which we ask to gain the power of bestowal, which is above us, outside of everyone’s personal interests, for the sake of other people, for the sake of humanity, and for the sake of the Creator. Everyone asks to have the power to give to everyone except himself because in this he resembles the Creator, who bestows to everyone except Himself. Therefore, such a prayer is significantly different from all other prayers.

Question: How can forces that want to destroy and eliminate each other attain mutual complementation since they are totally opposite from each other?

Answer: This is the reason the middle line is in the middle. It exists above this mutual contradiction.

Our intentions actually rule the world, they define the world. But these are intentions that we ourselves are not aware of.

Intentions are my thoughts about what I would like to see, how I would like to see the world, myself in it, others, and so on.

Today, if our intentions were manifested into the word, there would be no world anymore.

Question: So do we have the intention to destroy now?

Answer: Absolutely! The destruction of others, everyone, and everything.

Question: Is that why they do not manifest?

Answer: Yes. We are not given strength precisely because it would go to destruction.

Question: At what point will we be given the strength? What will we see then?

Answer: When we will have the right intentions in accordance with the plan of nature, then we will begin to receive the strength to implement it. The right intentions are for rapprochement, unity, connection, attainment of the highest level of nature, the revelation of mutual connection, and love.

Question: If this intention were revealed, what would we see?

Answer: That we are originally in a single system, and all our attempts to exist until now have been only in the opposite direction—to break this system.

Question: What should we do to reveal our intentions?

Answer: We should try with all our strength to break through the wall of this egoism that does not allow us to realize, to make any movement, to connect somehow, or to ask. The main thing is to ask.

Question: At what point will I ask?

Answer: When you see that you really want to, but you cannot.

Question: What prevents the Creator from simply giving us all this and that is it? Why does He need our work?

Answer: If you do not want it, how can I give it to you? This is coercion. It does not exist in spirituality.

Question: Should He bring us to the state that we will ask: “Give us the opportunity to break out of our egoism”?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Does He have to show us that our egoism is destructive, murderous?

Answer: But if He would show us, then we would simply not be able to exist. We need to strive for this ourselves, and then, to the extent of our striving, we will realize that we are in the opposite state and we will ask.

Question: Is our whole task to strive for connection, for unity, for good thoughts? Then we will see that we cannot do it and we will ask: “Give us the opportunity.” Is that the plan?

Answer: Yes.

At every step, we discover that correction is the work of the Creator, and we only ask for it. Our job is to raise a prayer.

Overcoming also lies in asking and presenting ourselves to the Creator as broken fragments, agreeing that He will do with us whatever He wants and has planned. We are ready for this and we hand ourselves over to Him as material in the hands of the master.

We are no longer capable of overcoming anything, we can only hold on to our devotion to the Creator and be willing to hand ourselves over to Him for correction as He sees fit. We prepare ourselves for this agreement in advance with the help of our friends and the group.

This is a lot of work, not passively waiting for action to be performed on us from above. We work to discover our shattering, shortcomings, and genuine prayer.

The Creator makes the correction by the force of the light, but we must be ready to connect, having exhausted all attempts and being certain that we cannot do it ourselves. And then we come to the Creator as a child running to his father, crying when he cannot assemble the cubes by himself and asking for help.

But we cannot ask Him in advance. This glue that connects the bricks of our house is made from our dissatisfaction, our tears, our suffering. All this we bring to the Creator with tears, complaining that the cubes do not fit together, or they do and immediately fall apart. So what is missing there?

Our tears lack the upper force. When the prayer (MAN) from our side and the answer (MAD) from the Creator combine, they turn into such a force that glues all the broken fragments together correctly and forever. This is how we reveal our integration with the Creator time after time.
