Question: 2016 brought a big change in the United States. After the elections on November 8^th, the world became new, unpredictable, and unfamiliar. Nobody expected that businessman Donald Trump, who was far from politics, would win the election in his Republican Party, moreover, the presidency. To many this victory seems surreal.

These elections were the most intense and dirty in history, deeply splitting American society. People destroyed relationships with family and friends just because of political differences. America is split in two: the rural American people who wish to return America to its former strength, and neoliberals, residents of large cities, promoting their values.

Trump’s victory caused great excitement among those who voted against him. Will he be a good president for the United States and the entire world? Many people doubt it.

Answer: If Trump won the election, it means that more than half of the citizens voted for him. Why then does the second half, the neoliberals, not want to agree with this choice? They always insisted that they stood for peace and social harmony.

Now, why don’t they agree with the fact that the other half also has an opportunity to do something? They just don’t want to accept something that doesn’t fit their views. This is the only problem.

If the majority of the people chose Trump to be a president, others must agree with this choice and support him. Or don’t they agree with their own constitution?

Question: But will Trump be a good president?

Answer: We will wait and see. To me he seems likely to be a much better president than Obama who caused a lot of harm to the United States. Just look what he did in the Middle East in building the “Arab Spring.” There are continuous wars and devastation in the zone from Morocco to Pakistan.

Obama messed up US relations with Russia so much that there are talks about a third world war. Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State speaks about world war as inevitable. Is it normal?! Obama’s governance destroyed the entire industrial base of America and doubled the national debt.

Comment: Opponents warn that Trump has no experience in such work, and he can’t lead America to the correct target.

Answer: Trump knows very well what to do. People exactly like him can manage America because they don’t belong to the political system but understand money and business. I can’t call myself his fan, but I think that Trump will be a much better president than his predecessor. Indeed, judging by the damage Obama caused America and around the world, he was the worst president in history.

During his eight years in office, Obama doubled the American national debt and introduced his program “Obamacare” that didn’t work. Look how much the number of unemployed increased since the beginning of his leadership. If the American people chose Trump, all the opponents should shut up and let him work.

I think Trump won’t support the old political and economic system, which he doesn’t really depend on. He will want to bring a lot of upgrades to America and to revive many of the old virtues of America that no longer exist today.

He will probably want to return, as much as possible, the industrial foundation of America in a new updated form with extensive use of robotics. I think he will be a good “boss,” and that’s what Americans expect from him. He won’t just interfere in other countries and organize messes there like Obama did. Judging by the things that Obama did in the world, America never had such a weak president.

Question: Where is our world heading?

Answer: The world is moving in a very bad direction, and it will be very bad if the people of Israel won’t take the spiritual leadership of the world in their hands. The people of Israel must understand that they have a method of correction of the world. It is possible to make corrections in the economy, culture, education, legal system, and family through the connection between people.

Everything can change if you change the relationships between people. It all depends on the wisdom of relationships that exists in the wisdom of Kabbalah. If Israel wants to discover this method for themselves and pass it to the world, the world will certainly want to take it and to reach a new state. Without this we would have to advance to the same result, but through world war.

Question: Why are there no letters above Bina in the spiritual world?

Answer: In the spiritual world, above Bina there is not any clear writing of the black egoism on the white Light.

That doesn’t mean that there are no letters there, just that they cannot be seen on the background of the white Light; they merge with it because a small ego is not revealed in the form of black letters.

In other words, there is only the characteristic of bestowal to Bina. In Talmud Eser Sefirot, in the section about the origin of the human soul, it is said that the letters are derived from a black point (the characteristic of reception), which begins from the center of Bina.

Torah, Deuteronomy 12:7: And there you shall eat before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice in all your endeavors you and your households, as the Lord, your God, has blessed you.

“You and your households” are the main, secondary, and tertiary forces of our soul. For example, “wife” is the primordial human desire, and “children” represent what a person generates by his actions. All other relatives are everything that he includes in himself as primary, secondary, and tertiary desires, and so on.

The phrase, “you shall eat before the Lord, your God,” refers not to material meals, but to the absorption (perception) of the Upper Light, the Creator, and the sensation of Him. In other words, we are talking about the anti-egoistic screen.

Everything in Kabbalah is explained very simply, and therefore, I, personally, and my students don’t have any association with earthly actions.

Thus, the phrase, “And there you shall eat before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice in all your endeavors,” means that we must reach such a state in our desire that we will be able to fulfill it, and this is called “eat and drink” since the Light of Hochma symbolizes food and the Light of Hassadim symbolizes drink.

In other words, the fulfillment that is called holy will enter our desires because it is only for the sake of the Creator, and this is His revelation.

Question: What actions of unity can help us overcome the crisis of confidence?

Answer: Today the crisis of confidence grips everyone in the world feels a crisis of confidence: there is no trust in the family, between parents and children, between citizens and their state, and all the more so between different states and different peoples. We are detached from one another and divided because our egosim is continuously growing.

Our world was created by one attribute only, which is egoism, and we have to add the other attribute, altruism, by ourselves in order to balance the attribute of egoism. We have to insert the attribute of love and bestowal into this world so that it will stand against egoism.

But we don’t do that, and so the process of people drawing further away from each other continues in the family, in society, everywhere. What can we do about it? The only thing we can do is to begin to draw the good force, which is concealed in nature, unto us.

The good force is called the Creator or the Light, and we must draw it. Our future and the future of our children depend on it. Let’s try to do it! The wisdom of Kabbalah tells us how we can implement it.

We need to adapt this wisdom properly, adapt it to our times, and convey it in a clear manner to ourselves and then to others. Then we will succeed and the crisis of confidence will disappear.

This will happen only when, precisely because this crisis, we have to attract the Upper Light that will balance our evil inclination, and we will eventually be able to connect to each other. Moreover, we will feel united in one desire.

The Creator created one desire, and then the ego shattered, severed us in this desire, and divided it into countless pieces. And now, where egoism reigns between us,it is necessary to cover it with good, mutual rapprochement, mutual bestowal, and even love. This is our task.

Then our tiny souls, which are divided by egoism, will be covered with a good mutual connection. This “sandwich”—huge ego inside and great, mighty altruism above it, love and bestowal—will give us great power to attain the Creator. We will penetrate its depth and achieve attainment, expansion, eternity, and perfection.

All of this is meant for us and will be ours. But we must strive for it.

Question: This type of work is basically not done in one hour. Will we have to continuously build small bridges of love over our egoism that is continually growing?

Answer: There is nothing to worry about. Many Kabbalists attained the peak of the end of correction, and we are in a position where we are able to do it—nothing is unattainable.

Question: In what areas would you compare Einstein to the Kabbalists?

Answer: Einstein, like the Kabbalists as well, searched for a single equation of nature that would describe all of the processes in the world on all levels.

Kabbalists go further. They want to understand all of the processes not only with the intellect and those in our world, but of all of the rest of the worlds, together. Attaining them fully and becoming like these processes—meaning equivalence with the Creator, or if you will, God—this is indeed the goal of the creation of humanity. All of us must reach this level, understanding and attaining this in this incarnation or in future incarnations.

Like Einstein, the Kabbalists also think that the field—Light, the thought of creation, the Creator—is primary, and the bodies, the desires that appear, are secondary. So, the wisdom of Kabbalah is involved with a study of human desire itself and brings the person to a discovery of the field, the Light, the Creator, within him.

Einstein didn’t succeed in attaining this because he thought that it was possible to attain the formula using the intellect, whereas the wisdom of Kabbalah attains this through a change in human desire, meaning through matter.

Question: Why does the Creator “say”: “I created the evil inclination” (Kiddushin 30b), and boasts that He created the evil inclination?

Answer: Because if the egoistic evil inclination that is completely detached from the spiritual world didn’t exist, then also we and all of creation that is the opposite of the Creator would not exist.

If the creation will rise to the level of the Creator, then it will have some additional value. Its nature is bound to be the opposite of the higher nature, otherwise it would not be independent.

The descent of the worlds from above to below, the breaking of the soul, the manner of our existence in this world, and everything that we experience was done by the Creator so that we will feel at least a little of what the evil is that exists within us that the Creator created.

We can access this evil gradually, and through its transformation to good, we climb the 125 spiritual levels.

Comment: You can find information on the Internet saying that a red string is a Kabbalistic Jewish lucky charm that can protect a person from envy and the evil eye.

Answer: A red string has nothing to do with Judaism or religion, and certainly not with the wisdom of Kabbalah. I don’t know where this idea comes from. I think it is an invention of the famous Berg Institute that engages in the desecration of the wisdom of Kabbalah and in selling anything they can: “holy water,” red strings, and other “Kabbalistic” accessories.

Question: Are there people who cannot be corrected?

Answer: Basically yes. These are people who cannot fully perceive reality. There are people who are born detached from reality and who relate to it differently than we do, and so the wisdom of Kabbalah isn’t for them.

Question: How does the wisdom of Kabbalah relate to female intuition? Is it real?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah welcomes women who have strong intuition and those who don’t, but it has nothing to do with the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: Were Spinoza, Leibnitz, and Newton Kabbalists?

Answer: No.

Question: How does the wisdom of Kabbalah relate to a man’s unfaithfulness?

Answer: As the usual manifestations of animal behavior.

Question: How does the wisdom of Kabbalah regard artificial intelligence? What is its function?

Answer: This is a mechanical, computational intelligence that by calculations can resemble human feelings to some degree. On the other hand, any machine cannot recreate the Kabbalistic attribute of perceiving the upper world because it is based on the attribute of bestowal.

Question: In what way is a Kabbalist different from a prophet?

Answer: A prophet is a person who is directly connected to the upper force. It is a special attribute of the soul. You can become a prophet, but in order to do so you have to attain a special level on which you begin to feel the connection with the Creator on the level of a prophet.

Passover means transition from the feeling of our world, inherent to every man in this world, to the feeling of the upper world. Only a Kabbalist can master it.

Passover, like all other Jewish holidays, is a purely Kabbalistic holiday. It recounts man’s leap from the state of not being able to unite with others to the state when his ego allows him to do it.

Men’s exit from the control of the ego to the unity with like-minded people is called “Passover.”

Question: What enables him to undergo such a leap?

Answer: The desire. After all, from the arriving to Egypt until exiting Egypt the enormous egoistic desire is continuously growing, not allowing the people of Israel to unite between them.

The people of Israel have to unite in order to reveal the Creator,  the quality of love and bestowal, in the connection between them. And when they see that they don’t have any ability to do so, they feel that they are in the darkness of Egypt. And now they are ready for anything just to break free from there! And this is called flight, escape from Egypt.

And if we consider it in the light of what happens to a person, because usually Kabbalah talks precisely about it, then we are talking about man’s property. A person is ready to do anything, even jump into the sea, just to break free from his ego, to rise above it and to reach the quality of the Creator, which is love and bestowal.

He throws himself into the sea and the sea parts before him. He crosses it, cutting himself from the ego and this way he, by being above the ego, becomes ready to start working with it, transform it into altruism.

This is the exit from Egypt we celebrate during Passover.

Question: There is a thirst for knowledge and for spirituality that is awakening today. Does the force that is against knowledge and attainment appear at the same time?

Answer: It must be so! A person is given both the pushing force and the resisting force so that he will discover himself through these two forces.

If a person advances only by the force of nature, it will be the result of the instinctive evolutionary force that has pushed humanity to develop for millions of years. Humanity didn’t develop by itself but was developed by these forces.

When a person wants to develop under the pressure of one external force, and at the same time, there is another external force that is a force of resistance, a person feels as if he is between the hammer and the anvil. This is the point from which a person can develop and discover himself, and grow through these two opposite forces. A person turns into a spiritual creature through the right conflict between the two forces.

The upper force leads a person to clarify things between these two forces in order to form the third force through them, which is called the middle line.

Question: Can we say that there are several spiritual attainments, or is there only one?

Answer: The nature of our world is the ego, and the nature of the upper world is the attribute of bestowal, which is expressed by altruism.

It is on top of the conflict between these two forces that we resemble the Creator. There is no other way.

Therefore, all the methods that use different forces, actions, and manipulations simply know nothing about these two major parameters in nature, the force of receiving and the force of bestowal, one versus the other.
