Water Purification In The Gaza Strip

laitman_245_10Question: Chronic shortage of electricity has led to the damage of the water purification system in the Gaza strip. As a result of this, the Palestinians are streaming sewage into the sea, and wastewater has reached the reservoir that provides water to the settlements on the border region of the Ashkelon coast. Some ecologists are calling the situation a near ecological disaster. We cannot isolate ourselves from Gaza, not from missiles and not ecologically. What must we do?

Answer: The Turks wanted to build an electrical power station in this area, after all this is a big area with magnificent buildings, swimming pools, and beaches and one and a half million people live there. They certainly should get everything necessary.

They cannot get along on their own because they are completely directed toward war due to their hatred of Israel. Besides, by providing them with free products and resources for many years, we have gotten them used to this. On paper, everything was apparently entered under their “debt,” but they have no intention of paying so they are not doing anything.

During the time that we were involved in building water purification plants and the purification of waste water so that we provided water everywhere in the land for all the situations that can happen in life (a situation that doesn’t exist in even one of the nations in the area), they were not really concerned about their future. It is our fault because we accustomed them to this. We passed the water wells to them and everything that was used by us in the beginning of our way in the area and they neglected everything. Seawater reached all of these systems and they became filled with salt. Now it is impossible to clean them.

What will they do now? They will suffer.

What will we do? We will also suffer because it is up to us to behave differently. But instead, we are supplying them with millions of liters of bottled water.

We must conduct aggressive policies as much as possible and do everything according to different principles, at least submitting documents through international organizations, submitting lawsuits, turning to a court to seriously transfer the matter to a legal track. It is necessary to put pressure on them to examine the manner in which they manage their economy and the fact that international organizations are giving them money to arm themselves and not for humanitarian supplies.

Question: How do you see the solution of this problem?

Answer: Our salvation is in union between us.

We are continuing with our work on unity and this will yield its fruit, because it brings the Upper Light into our world. The Upper Light brings a person to an awareness and understanding of why the world exists, in what manner it develops, and what the role and mission of the Jews is.

And the world is beginning to understand more and more that we have a particular mission and a task and that it affects not only us but the whole world, so it is necessary to make it possible to be realized. Lately I have even heard reactions like these and have seen some sobering here and there.

Let’s hope that we will hold out. We need to be particularly concerned about the connection between us, about unity within the nation, and then all of our adversaries will gradually disappear.

Salad With Salmonella

Laitman_506_6Question: The Health Department in Israel announced the removal of products from the Tahini factory HaNasich from store shelves due to contamination by Salmonella bacteria. Products of nine different brands were found contaminated with bacteria in which Tahini was used.

The Health Department determined that employee negligence led to Salmonella contamination of cereals and other brands. Moreover, the management of the factory acknowledged that it knew about the contamination two weeks before this was known to everyone and yet the manufacture of the products was not halted at the time. As reported by Ynet, in addition to halting production, the Health Department is considering the possibility of filing a lawsuit. In a case like this is it necessary to consider such a step?

Answer: There is nothing to consider here, it is necessary to act. In a case like this I would take extreme measures, because this is talking about the health of citizens. Regarding health this knowingly caused harm. Knowing of the situation, the managers of the factory could have found a way to stop the output of contaminated product. If they didn’t do this, they simply caused damage willingly and are guilty of causing much harm to people. In a case like this, they have no place in the food industry. They must pay the full obligation for the damaged caused. The nation must pay attention to this.

Comment: Contrary to your opinion, I have heard the opinion of experts. They say that such activities were never punished very severely.

Answer: Certainly! The nation doesn’t punish banks or companies like these. They are allowed to do anything, so that is also how they behave.

Question: Is it possible to solve this problem in another way?

Answer: It can be solved only through managing general integral education for the people so people will begin to understand how an orderly society should behave. It is impossible to go on like this, not because the “upper class doesn’t want it” and “the lower classes cannot” or vice versa, but because nature itself teaches us that it is up to us to change our existential paradigm regarding our attitude toward the world, nature, ourselves, and society.

From the point of view of the wisdom of Kabbalah, this necessarily must be realized, and already in our time people must understand that it is up to them to change themselves and not those around them, meaning that they must be involved with self-education and self-enlightenment. We are advancing toward a situation in which the means of production will no longer have much influence on society. Production itself will not require employees. The authorities don’t know this and cannot manage it, but only “replicate” themselves again and again.

We are found at the end of the previous paradigm of social development, governance, and management. All of this will end soon and it will be clear that nothing can be realized anywhere in any form in any nation in the world.

Society must change; it must reconstruct itself according to a completely different program of full mutual cooperation, with a good connection between us, when all of us are principally involved with connection and unity. So it is up to us to educate ourselves. This is not very easy, but against our will we are moving toward this.

Question: Does this mean that nobody will be rich and that a communistic equality will prevail?

Answer: This is not communism but a state that nature is requiring from us. We must reach a state in which all of us together will be a single integral system similar to what manages us. In a system like this, we are already beginning to evaluate people not according to the number of zeroes they have in the bank, but according to the contribution that a person makes for the sake of the unity of the entire society because nature is seriously driving us toward general integration and it is up to us to realize this call.

Question: How will this be expressed in our activities?

Answer: Only in the implementation of the method that explains the overall dependence, the general mutual connection, in what manner we must be arranged in balance with nature and between us, meaning how we must re-invent ourselves.

Salvation Is In General Education

laitman_944Question: How do you see the generation that is growing up that toward the year 2030 will become adults and build the new Israel?

Answer: I only know one thing: we need to educate the nation so that they won’t become just a mixed collection of people from all corners of the world, that they truly will become a nation.

For this to happen, we need to educate them in the spirit of unity that goes above the problems, something that is possible to attain only with the help of the system of integral unity, which comes from the wisdom of Kabbalah. I don’t see any other possibility! Otherwise, all of the nations and the countries will crush us! Just as the world decided and determined to re-establish the state of Israel, so it also will decide to cancel it, and nothing will save us!

The only thing that we can do is to become involved with the education of the nation, and thus provide an example to the whole of humanity, to show what education should include on a national scale and to continue to pass on the system of unity to all of humanity since in the integral world where everything is connected in one network, only humanity is in a state of separation. Therefore, we are experiencing two conflicting systems that are leading us to a global world war.

The wisdom of Kabbalah also warns about this. The time has come to understand what the Jewish State is accountable for in its education, in the usage of its historical mission. It is this with which we specifically need to become involved, not in building a prosperous society because that won’t help us to survive.

Question: Many are convinced that the nation of Israel survived all through history thanks to its culture and customs, including its religion.

Answer: All of that was prior to the Holocaust and the expulsion to exile! Therefore, it’s not worthwhile to reassure ourselves that it will help.

Question: What does it mean that Judaism won’t be maintained?

Answer: If we don’t carry out our mission, don’t come to connection and unity, then from above this opportunity will be taken from us and we will be forced to scatter around the world. Some of us will be destroyed, and some will be assimilated among other nations.

Tu B’Av – Love That Transcends Hatred

laitman_285_01Dear beloved friends, children and grandchildren!

I welcome all of you to the holiday of Tu B’Av! Tu B’Av is a special holiday that symbolizes love, relationships built above hatred, above the destruction of the Temple, which was destroyed because of personal and mutual hatred between us. We correct it when we rise above it and thus attain the great love, “And you shall love your friend as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18).

This is a special feeling of connection between us called true love, which elevates us to the level of eternity, wholeness, and infinite expansion of our feelings and thoughts. We begin to feel that we exist eternally, fully in every feeling, in all information, everything, that all other people relate to him only with love. Imagine the feeling that everyone loves you; everyone looks at you and relates to you as their little child! We need to give each one of us this feeling.

This is what Tu B’Av symbolizes, built specifically above the hatred among us that we discover between us today. Let’s hasten its discovery!

New Life #349 – Uniting The Israeli Nation: An Ideology

New Life #349 – Uniting The Israeli Nation: An Ideology
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

What distinguishes Israel from the other nations? How is this expressed in our genealogy from Abraham until our days and how can we unite the whole world?

Summary

We have to unite the nation since our nation has no right to exist if we are not united. All of Israel are friends. We are a small but greatly divided nation since we have absorbed many views from all over the world during the 2,000 years in exile.

We can unite only on the basis the Abraham established of Hesed (mercy), love and connection. We have not worked on building the mutual love between us, on building the original Israel since we have returned to the land of our fathers.

We lack the education for love of others. We need a national socio-educational plan of uniting the nation. Unity is essential for everyone in a global integrated world. Only we can start this process.

If people felt mutual care and tried to understand others, if they felt connection and unity, we would live in the “Garden of Eden” – paradise.

The Day Of Love

laitman_572_02Comment: The 15th of Av, the day of love occurs a week after the tragic day of the 9th of Av

Answer: According to our sources, this is the day that the young women of Jerusalem go out dressed in white to the orchards and the vineyards and sing. The young men join them and choose their bride. This is what characterizes this holiday.

Comment: Many believe that the 15th of Av is similar to Valentine’s Day and that it is not deeply rooted in Jewish tradition.

Answer: This holiday is mentioned in writings that are 3,000 years old, and so I believe that it is a tradition. Our holidays and special days should be divided into those that have already been fulfilled in our calendar and those that have not yet been fulfilled. We should understand that there are holidays and special dates that only Israel have undergone and those that the whole world, all of humanity, has to undergo.

We celebrate certain dates since they will appear only in the future, like Purim, for example. In fact, they were revealed to some extent and there was such an event in the our history, such a problem did come up, and as usual they wanted to destroy our whole nation in ancient Babylon, and we managed to avoid it successfully; we came out of exile, etc…But this holiday is basically the embodiment of a future state and not of a historical event.

It is the same with the day of love. The day of love is basically the greatest day, the greatest holiday! Love! However, it isn’t the love that young men and young women look for in the vineyards, but a totally different kind of love that is built on top of the correction of the ego that brought about the destruction of the First and Second Temples and which the period between the 17th of Tammuz and the 9th of Av symbolizes. It is about the time of the destruction of the two Temples and other problems and afflictions that the Jewish people have undergone. And just a week later, when all that is gone and corrected, a new period begins.

It is a time in which we build the Temple, but this Temple is in our hearts, the connection between us. We look for a spiritual partner, and the spiritual partner for both men and women is the upper force, the Creator. We connect with Him and together receive the absolute filling, pleasure, and enlightenment, the revelation of the real world. We exist in it and not only in a small fragment of this world. The whole process symbolizes the correction, the rebuilding of the Temple, and the transition from hatred to love.

Question: Is this what the 15th of Av, the day of love, symbolizes?

Answer: Basically yes, but it is a holiday for which we have no special date, because it is seemingly celebrated on Purim. Purim is the holiday of freedom, the holiday of correction only for the Jewish people, while now we are nearing a state in which we will celebrate it with the whole world. It says in the Book of Psalms that the Third Temple will be called “a house of prayer for all the nations.” This is the reason that the 15th of Av seems similar to Valentine’s Day. Symbolically it indicates that this will be a holiday of love for the whole world.

Question: Can we compare it with the holidays of all the religions?

Answer: Yes, it seems to be external to religion, like the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Comment: You have said that it will be a holiday that can be celebrated any time…

Answer: That’s true, since what else do we mean by rebuilding the Third Temple? It is a state in which we connect into one single system called man, Adam, stemming from the Hebrew root “Domeh – to resemble,” to resemble the Creator. When this system is connected by the positive forces, when all of humanity is connected together, it will be called the Third Temple. The Creator will be revealed in the system of the positive connection, the upper force of the world, and thus we will live in what we call the Third Temple, in a totally different world, in a feeling of eternity and wholeness. It will be like a real day of love as it is written: love will cover all our transgressions, and love thy friend as thyself, etc., which means that this is the ultimate state of all mankind. We will reach it whether by force, by the stick, or in a clever rational way, as the wisdom of Kabbalah advises us to do, quickly and easily.

Comment: The 15th of Av is a clue of the sublime state that we call the third Temple.

Answer: Yes, at the same time, a young woman symbolizes all of humanity and a young man symbolizes the Creator. This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah describes and explains. It is impossible to imagine that King Solomon, a great Kabbalist who left us such a masterpiece, simply wrote about love! The 15th of Av, the day of love is the greatest holiday because all the other holidays represent how we reach it, and it comes at the end, at the end of our development.

Question: What do we find behind the absolute love we attain?

Answer: It is only a condition, the connection of two opposite forces, of two attributes, into one; the new energy that develops on top of this connection, the consciousness, the understanding, the feeling, raises us to the next level, which is not described anywhere. The wisdom of Kabbalah only tells us about how we should reach this state. What is beyond that? We are not told because we cannot understand it. We don’t have the feelings or the mind to understand the next level.

“The Palestinians Were Created To Oppress The Jews”

laitman_547_05Opinion (7kanal): “Presented below is a video, posted on the worldwide web, that is gaining hundreds, if not thousands of views, not only in Israel but also in the Arab sector, and even in the far left.

“View it by clicking on this link.

“In the video, wearing a cowboy hat, is a man who calls himself ‘Wild Bill,’ who expresses his support of Israel.

“By far the most creative invention of Islam is ‘the Palestinian,’ a person who has never been seen before in the modern world, who supposedly lived in a nation that never existed. The Palestinian was invented shortly after the nation of Israel sprang into existence as the new name for the traditional home of the Jewish people.

“Now prior to the invention of the Palestinian, the Arab nations had been lusting for the land of the Jews … So in the traditional Muslim style, they sent in massive armies to massacre the Jews and steal their land. But the Israelis … sent the Arabs fleeing back across the border …

“But prior to the invasion, the Arab’s warned all the Jordanians, Syrians, and Lebanese living in Israel to get out. They confidently told them that within a few days they could waltz right back in and take over the homes of the exterminated Jews.

“But when the Arab armies failed to capture even one Jewish home, the Arabs who had left had no place to go, and that is when the Muslims invented ‘the Palestinian.’ They told the Jordanians, Syrians, and Lebanese that they are now Palestinians and that they were to spread the story that the Jews had stolen their homeland from them leaving them as poor refugees …

“And the Palestinian came into existence for the express purpose of causing trouble for Israel. …

“The next time you talk to one of these supporters of the ‘poor Palestinians’ ask them a few questions like: What year did the nation of Palestine come into existence? What were its national borders? And in what year did it cease to exist? Well since it never existed in the first place, they won’t be able to answer you. … What currency did the nation of Palestine use and why is their no history of it? And ask them if they can name one leader of the nation of Palestine prior to Yasser Arafat?”

My Comment: There is no need for proof. Basically we have transformed our “incorrect” existence on our land to “not ours.” We were expelled from it 2,000 years ago as a result of discovering mutual hatred between us. As long as we don’t replace it with a good connection between us, we will not convince anyone that this is our place! We are not fighting with the Arabs but with ourselves and the Creator!

Ynet: “The Thin Line Between Hatred And Love”

Tisha B’Av [the 9th of Av] is the direct and closest expression of the clear connection between the unfounded hatred among the nation of Israel and the destruction, but it is not the only thing. As long as hatred exists, destruction will continue to haunt us. On the eve of the 9th of Av let’s take a minute and stop our daily chase and convene in a joint stock-taking. Using Kabbalah books and the guidance provided by our spiritual teachers—the Kabbalists, we can learn to love again.

“Five things happened on the 9th of Av: our forefathers first heard that they will not enter the Land of Israel; the first and the second Temples were destroyed and the city of Beitar was conquered and plowed. When Av arrives we diminish joy.” (Talmud Bavli, Masechet Ta’anit).

The eve of the 9thof Av is the end of the three weeks of the days of Bein Hameitzarim (the days between the 17th of Tamuz and the 9th of Av). It is a symbol of the destruction of the second Temple for many, but a brief look at our history books reveals the startling truth that the Temple and its destruction does not matter as much as the immense unfounded hatred among the Jews in Jerusalem at the time. The hatred was so profound that it is the root of all the destructions and the suffering of the nation of Israel throughout history.

Not only did the destruction of the first and the second Temples occur on the 9th of Av, many other disasters did as well: the tables of the Ten Commandments were broken on this date, Jerusalem was conquered and destroyed by the Romans, and Bar-Kochba and tens of thousands of his followers were killed in the city. In later times, the Jews England were expelled from England in 1290, the Jews of France in 1306, the Jews Spain were expelled in 1492, and during the Holocaust massive deportation of Jews to the death camps took place on this date.

What is the root of unfounded hatred?

Unfounded hatred is a natural part of the development of mankind. According to Kabbalah, “man’s heart is evil from his youth,” and the negative egoistic force continuously grows and separates us. To prevent additional destructive events and to build brotherly love, we have to add the positive force to this process that will balance the negative force of the ego. The positive force is the force of connection, a force that exists in nature, although it is hidden. However different from the force of the ego that develops naturally, the positive force is created only by our efforts. Once we begin to make efforts in order to bridge the gap between us and get closer to each other, to tighten the connections between us by rising above all our differences, not by trying to blur them, we will spur the positive force that is hidden in nature.

As long as we neglect to treat our ego, it will only keep growing until it erupts in the form of mutual rejection and bitter hatred that will bring another disaster upon us, so that we will wake up and get back on track. This is what happened to the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt. The egoism grew to new dimensions and swept them to unfounded hate, to futile internal conflicts, and to endless personal accounts. Under the attack of thoughts of hatred stemming from the root of Mount Sinai, the children of Israel were required to unite as one man in one heart. The condition they were faced with at the foot of the mountain was clear: You either unite or this will be your burial place. The great tension between the mutual rejections they felt and the need for mutual guarantee generated the need for the right method of connection.

It was Moses, the leader of the nation, who was faced with the people’s demand to connect. He climbed to the top of the mountain and received the Torah: the means by which to spur the force of connection between people. But the nation of Israel chose separation and hatred instead of preparing for the sublime moment of the receiving of the Torah.

“While Moses was with them, he united and connected them while the assembly of Israel below were as one man in one heart. They were as a strong wall against the external forces, which could not penetrate into the whole of Israel, but only when there is a crack in the wall of Israel (“Shem Shmuel“).

The children of Israel used the small crack in the relations between them and preferred to build the golden calf, a symbol of the worship of the ego, which cultivates competition and the brutal chase of achievements at the expense of others. When Moses came down and returned to the people, he was surprised to discover how far the people drew away from the goal for which they were made, and broke the tables, the values of unity and mutual guarantee, as an expression of his feelings.

“After the event with the calf, the children of Israel lost the level of connection they were on and needed to reconnect (“Shem Shmuel“). Only when they agreed to make a covenant and to accept unity as the uppermost value were they worthy of receiving the Torah.

“The main idea the Torah is based on is unity and so when they received the Torah they immediately felt responsible for each other, of course (Likutei Halachot). Thanks to that, the second tablets of the Ten Commandments were not broken. Having the method of connection, we continued to conquer the land of Israel with greater connection and love and then built the two Temples. “It is by the Temple that we became one nation and when we were divided, the place of the unity of Israel was destroyed, and so it was because of unfounded hatred that the city and the Temple were destroyed.” (The Maharal from Prague).

The Destruction Has Never Ended

The 9th of Av as a reminder of our mistaken preference to develop along the narrow egoistic path instead of love of others is becoming increasingly more relevant. As long as the ego continues to grow and swell, it nourishes unfounded hatred and destroys the relations between us, and so “we were commanded to reinforce the unity between us in each and every generation (Sefer Hatoda’a).

The world today is in a deep crisis in every aspect of life and the uncertainty regarding the future is so great that a third world war may break out, and so we have to carry on from the point from which we have stopped. The golden calf is now revealed to all and the disappointment it brings with it leads us to the verge of an abyss. “All the troubles and their purpose is to provide a person with mental reasons so that he will feel sorry about the destruction of the spiritual Temple in his heart, which is the path to redemption” (Michtav Me’Eliyahu). Despite the moments of success we had throughout the two thousand years of exile, we are still facing a mountain of hatred and are required to make a decision and choose the good.

We have to recognize egoism as a disease that is gnawing us from inside and prepare ourselves for receiving the Light of the Torah. “Just as the sages said (Masechet Kiddushin): ‘I have created the evil inclination, I have created the Torah as a spice,’ which refers to the Light in the Torah that Reforms” as Baal HaSulam says. The force of connection in the Torah can illuminate all the dark and hidden places in our relationships, patch up the connections that were broken, and give us a good feeling of wholeness and eternity. Only then will “a great Light come out of the darkness, the curse itself will turn into a blessing and the destruction of the Temple will turn into its construction” (The Holy SHEL”A).

Thus, it is specifically in our times that the best remedy is revealed, the method of connection, the wisdom of Kabbalah. It explains why our egoistic nature and helplessness dominates us, and at the same time enables us to evoke the positive force hidden in the right connection between us and can thus help us avoid the troubles lurking around the corner. “The depth of evil is a good depth, the depth of hatred is the depth of love and if we were destroyed by unfounded hate, we will be rebuilt by unfounded love (“Orot HaKodesh“).

Be Prepared For The 9th Of Av

laitman_293Question: The 9th of Av is a tragic day in Jewish history when the Temple was destroyed, when the Temple Mount was destroyed, and when the Jews were expelled from England, France, and Spain. The first ghetto was founded on the 9th of Av. And it was on the 9th of Av that the Jews were taken from the  Warsaw Ghetto to be killed.

Answer: This is a critical date. Today, the greatest egoism is being revealed–meaning the negative attribute in human beings that is opposite to the natural, positive force, which we call nature or the Creator. It is the positive attribute that we must expose and reveal.

A person armed with knowledge sees in advance what is allowed and what is forbidden, where he can step and where he shouldn’t. And so he goes through the same situations with ease that a person who has no information is immersed in.

Although he must spend a lot of time studying and developing himself in learning how to sense danger, it is worthwhile because eventually he advances in a normal way. He understands that he must resist his ego, and he knows how to fight it. He knows that it is necessary to study systematically about himself in a group with others what we learn from the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Thus, we overcome all of the problems that must be revealed within us in a predetermined order because if they are not revealed, they are in concealment and it is impossible to correct them.

If we prepare ourselves properly for these problems in advance, they are revealed to us to the degree that we want and at a pace that we are able to correct them. However, if we are not prepared for them, they occur in the form of disasters like the Holocaust, expulsion, pogroms, and other problems.

This is how it always happens, so the wisdom of Kabbalah warns us and tells us that we must advance consciously, increasingly more strongly connected to each other. In fact, we are not connected at all, and we are growing further apart and increasingly more divided every day.

There are big circles in Israel that are dividing the nation and setting an example of opposing others. They operate only for their own sake, not for the sake of the state or the people. Unfortunately, all of this is leading us to another disaster, and we are approaching unpleasant events, while according to the wisdom of Kabbalah, we in spite of our separation, the immense egoism that always resides in us and constantly grows, we must unite, in spite of everything and above it all, as it is written, “Love covers all transgressions.” It will not correct them but cover them.

We don’t need to pay attention to the fact that we have this negative motives toward each other. It is only natural as the most developed nation, but in spite of all that, we must get closer to each other.

There is a method to get closer, which the wisdom of Kabbalah precisely explains, and we must implement it.

Question: Is the preparation for a possible fall on the 9th of Av is that the moment the fall comes it can be immediately covered by love?

Answer: Yes, a week after the 9th of Av is the day of love because according to the plan of the creation, after all of the problems, we reach unity and love.

It is basically in our hands, and I hope that people who are far from the wisdom of Kabbalah, including those who oppose it, still will understand that the method of unity is in this wisdom. We must take it upon ourselves to realize it and show it to the entire world. This is the only way that the world will reach peace and tranquility.

Let’s hope that we will build in our hearts, between us, in our good unity, what we call the Third Temple and reveal the Creator in it, the force of love between us.

Facebook “Omitted” Israel From The Olympics

laitman_566_02Comment: The social network Facebook has been accused of bias toward Israel following its placement—not in alphabetical order but after Zimbawe and with the country’s flag missing—on a special page dedicated to the opening of the Olympic Games in Rio Dei Janeiro. The flag was added after the Olympic Committee of Israel complained to Facebook. It seems that Israel is getting a negative attitude from all sides.

Answer: This is not a negative attitude but hatred and it will continue until we recognize our obligation to the world, “to be a Light unto the nations” (Isaiah 49:6). It means that we must be an example for the world of the ability to unite.

The people of Israel are the most egoistic and therefore the most separated and scattered. But the method of unification exists only with us and the world is subconsciously waiting for it. For the meantime, the United States supports us, but the Jews in the United States are becoming more and more distant from Israel and soon the American government will be able to put pressure on us according to what it wants.

When that happens, we will not be able to remain here anymore, as Baal HaSulam writes, if there will be anywhere for us to go at all. So let’s not go back to the times of the “destruction of the Temple.”
