Question: If people were to change themselves, by all appearances they would just stop wasting their power and energy. Today, two trillion dollars a year is wasted only for armaments. In this process an immense amount of waste and garbage is produced that must be processed, using great amounts of energy. People continue to live in places that are incompatible with life, continue to draw the earth’s resources that are not renewable. Humanity has no clear concept of what is occurring. Most people don’t want to talk about this because they don’t think about it but only about their daily bread….

Answer: The reason for this is that a clear solution to all problems remains hidden from people. Yet it exists, and in order to discover it, the leaders, the ruling elite, must be replaced so that a new humanity can take into their hands the process of organization.

Question: Are you sure that these people will not want to use their control over minds and will not create a new cycle of elite, a redistribution of wealth and government?

Answer: No, because our desires are changing. People have lost their relationship to life that they had in the past, which was to acquire and to accumulate without limit. The result has been a great disappointment in everything. It’s necessary to change a person and nothing else.

According to the assessment of the Red Cross, many people in the European countries like Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Romania are starving; this is in spite of the fact that millions of tons of food are thrown away!

The problem is not that there is not enough food; the problem is in the relationships between people. If we correct the relationships between us, we will bring everything in the world into balance. Yet this cannot be unless there is concern for everyone.

Through integral education one acquires this sensation within weeks. Had those countries in Europe entered into integral education before the formation of the common market, everything would have been otherwise. It was necessary to begin not with a single currency, not with common economic rules, but with a uniform education, with an understanding that humanity is one whole body.

First they would need to create a particular commonality between people, to create a synergy of character, understanding, and communication. As in a family, everyone is different but it is, in fact, one family. This is the problem of Europe.

The same thing happened in the Soviet Union when they began to impose the new regime forcefully without the preliminary education of the population. And now this could happen again in Europe if they begin to use force. To our great sorrow, they are going in this direction at the present time; here and there, they have adopted various economic sanctions. Stalin did this much more simply with the Red Terror, and that was that. We see what is happening in Cyprus. This is also a type of terror against the will.

But there is a very clear program of development for humanity. We must reach the next stage of development, and we will reach it. The only problem is how to reach this in the softest, best, and fastest way. And this depends on the preparation of people, on education.

Question: It is known that a sharp qualitative change is always a change of phase, a sharp jump. Will integral development and correction be gradual or will a gap of potentials grow at first and a qualitatively new transition to a completely different level take place afterwards?

Answer: A critical state is an explosion, a nuclear world war, and other problems.

Thus, we must try to instill integral upbringing and education by all possible means. Also, if today we already see how effective it is to all kinds of organizations, then we can offer it to factories and institutions, various societies and communities, to housewives (via TV), schools, prisons, and so forth. We can instill the system everywhere possible, in any place where people even want to get just a bit closer to it, to begin to understand it at least a little bit.

In the integral network, people connect between themselves through their desires and thoughts. This is how the “wisdom of the crowd” works when it connects and creates some product.

Thus, we need to try to involve as many people as possible in integral unity, and  they can act via their thoughts. Also, there is no importance here to the social standing of a person, not to his general education and so forth. They can be simple people as well as representatives of the elite. It doesn’t matter since at the next level all corporeal differences disappear.

Answer: A woman expects fulfillment from a man. She relates to a man as to her source of mental, spiritual, and psychological fulfillment. In some way, she begins to grasp the world through her husband, through the man. It’s specifically what she is waiting for and wants. Without that she doesn’t feel that she is connected to the world, to life as it should be. It’s as if she has no base point, a point of support.

Psychologically, a woman wants to be next to a man who will be as a source of inner fulfillment. For this she is ready to give everything material, everything external, in order to receive from him what she is not able to create herself, meaning mental, spiritual, and psychological fulfillment.

While the man, on the contrary, doesn’t need mental, spiritual, or psychological fulfillment from the woman. He needs support on the regular corporeal level. And thus they come in contact with each other. This is the way nature created us.

Question: I still don’t understand what the “integrality” that we speak about all the time means.

Answer: Essentially, it’s about changing our approach, about a new “data set,” about a new perspective of the world. What is an “integral?” Let’s clarify this in geometric terms. Suppose there is a certain area that can be divided into small squares of a certain size. Then the area of each square is one square (1…²). In addition, we are also left with smaller parts that are not squares.

So how do we calculate the general area of the body (S)? We add all the squares to the area and then we have to calculate the area of the special parts (S-?). If we were speaking about weight, we would have to see what their center of mass is (He-?).

So we divide this area into even smaller squares and then add it up. The sum (∑) is called an “integral” (∫). Thus we calculate from zero to infinity (∞), down to the smallest details.

In the same way we reach the lowest level of the human race by integral education, down to the last detail. Eventually each of us, every “square” is equal to all the others. This is how integral education relates to generality, wholeness, and complexity.

The education will not correct the ego. The ego will still remain as it is, and there is nothing we can do with it: It cannot be re-trained, re-educated to move from reception to bestowal. The integral education “cuts corners” a little, but it doesn’t correct humanity. By implementing it we only bring people closer to a state that allows us to bring them the Light, and the Light will do its job, which we call “reform.” The conclusion is that the circles that we build will actually change only after we pass the Light to people.

Question: In crowd sourcing projects, there is no uniform method, uniform schema, that explains how people connect integrally in order to create a collective mind. All the schemes are created as an experiment, but people cannot repeat them. Therefore, communities that are being created can crumble at any moment and possibly cannot even be created. Could this be a problem of motivation because all these societies are organized without a financial interest?

Answer: This must be a gathering of people for whom there exists a single motivation: We are gathered together in order to be connected into a single unified whole. This is called a “crowd.” A crowd is not just an assembly of people who suddenly gathered in a public square because everyone has heard that something new, strange, and interesting will happen there. The wisdom of crowds (crowd sourcing) is people who understand that there is some kind of mutual integration.

Question: Under what conditions does their mutual integration happen? Why do they succeed in uniting?

Answer: From the point of view of integral science, there must be a kind of unity where every person desires to integrate with the others. And this means that he needs to humble himself before the others, no matter what a great, wise, and all-knowing scientist he is. This is to say, people should have a motivation to be integrated with the others, to listen to them.

Therefore, on the one hand I have to be lower than the others, be ready to accept all that they think and know, ready to accept their point of view. On the other hand, I believe that my point of view could be useful to them, and therefore I express it, without pressuring the others.

It follows that there exist two very different levels: I humble myself towards the crowd, which I call a “group,” and I raise myself above the group. Both of these points of view are given credence. Every member in the group works with them both.

It is specifically in this way that I am included in the others; otherwise, I cannot do this. In relation to the crowd, I am working with these two polarized determinants. At one time I am lower than the others and at one time higher than them, and then I approach a state where I am equal to them. In this kind of state I can accept everything and give everything.

Question: According to the theory of integrality, in reality there are no other civilizations than those on the earth. The people who live on the earth are the only subjects in the huge picture in the space of Ein Sof (infinity). It turns out that all the universe was created so that we would grow and feel something else within ourselves.

Answer: The universe was created so that we would attain the next level of existence above this nature, that we would discover and enter into the next level, its thinnest. This is the level of eternity, perfection, complete harmony. In order to enter this level, we must study harmony from nature, its perfection, the mutual cooperation there, its interdependence, and imitate it.

Question: For this, should we educate children and adults, or is it already too late to educate adults?

Answer: We need to educate senior citizens and young people as well since each person is equal according to this level, each person is necessary. Since if you perceive nature as being integral, then each one of its components, like in an analog system, there is the same level of importance for each of its components.

Together with this, there is no difference in the language in which this theory is presented to children and adults. The point is that each person, by knowing themselves and by their efforts, enters into the level of mutual cooperation like the cells in our body.

Full mutual cooperation brings a guarantee for an absolutely healthy system, and then we feel ourselves at the next level. Also, the period of achievement is determined in advance. We need to reach it soon. And if we, ourselves, don’t long for this, then we will feel how the unpleasant forces push us from behind in a forceful manner.

Question: Should an integral manager be above any integral community, for example, a factory or office?

Answer: A higher hierarchical level should be above any integral community. After all, if we deal with the law, where does it come from? The law of integrality itself, which is manifested in the group, is their correspondence to the level of nature that they occupy. But just as the group was created by its supervisor who has already attained integrality, it’s the same now when they are at this degree; they will not be able to reach the next level by themselves.

They need an educator who gives them assignments, checks everything, guides, and corrects everywhere and in everything. Without a leader, they are unlikely to be able to remain at the achieved level because their egoism is growing all the time. They are constantly experiencing micro-explosions of egoism internally. That is why they constantly need someone who supervises them. After all, they do not feel: Suddenly, they are carried away from common integrality thinking that they are still within it.

A leader corrects their integrality because they do not feel when they “drift” since their egoism is working constantly and pulling them in different directions all the time. That is why such disagreements, misunderstandings, and differences of opinion emerge in the group and people do not know where to go.

Question: On the level of the beast, the “wisdom of the crowd” or the collective intelligence is revealed very beautifully: a school of fish, flocks of birds, and the like. Why is it not revealed like this on the human level?

Answer: On the animate level, the collective intelligence works instinctively according to the general law of the integral behavior of all of nature. We see how much this law is realized instinctively and egoistically because essentially it’s carried out for the preservation of the flocks of birds, the schools of fish, and the like. It’s derived from some great integral intelligence, yet acts on an instinctive, primitive, and egoistic level.

A different kind of behavior is required among humans, one which is not egoistic. Everyone needs to overcome his personal ego for the sake of the interests of the society while being concerned for the preservation of all the conditions of integral existence in the environment, including the still, vegetative, and animate nature, and human society. In this case, the ego creates a problem, something that doesn’t exist in the animal world.
